In the paper we can prove that every integer can be written as the sum of two integers, one perfect square and one squarefree. We also establish the asymptotic formula for the number of representations of an integer in this form. The result is deeply related with the divisor function. In the course of our study we get an independent result about it. Concretely we are able to deduce a new upper bound for the divisor function fully explicit.  相似文献

We consider a class of pseudodifferential operators, with crossed vector valued symbols, defined on the product of two closed manifolds. We study the asymptotic expansion of the counting function of positive selfadjoint operators in this class. Using a general Theorem of Aramaki, we can determine the first term of the asymptotic expansion of the counting function and, in a special case, we are able to find the second term. We give also some examples, emphasizing connections with problems of analytic number theory, in particular with Dirichlet divisor function.  相似文献

Beginning with Carlitz's well known characterization of algebraic number rings with class number two, arithmetical characterizations of divisor class groups have been a topic of interest in the literature. In this note we develop a characterization of Dedekind domains with finite elementary 2-group class group. We consider the linear regression model in the case when the independent variables are measured with errors, while the variances of the main observations depend on an unknown parameter. In the case of normally distributed replicated regressors we propose and study new classes of two-step estimates for the main unknown parameter. We find consistency and asymptotic normality conditions for first-step estimates and an asymptotic normality condition for second-step estimates. We discuss conditions under which these estimates have the minimal asymptotic variance.  相似文献

In approximately 1915, Ramanujan recorded two identities involving doubly infinite series of Bessel functions. The identities were brought to the mathematical public for the first time when his lost notebook was published in 1988, and are connected with the classical, long-standing circle and divisor problems, respectively. We provide a proof of the first identity for the first time by analytically continuing a new kind of Dirichlet series. Delicate estimates of exponential sums are needed, and the new methods we introduce may be of independent interest.  相似文献

We study the asymptotic behaviour of the partial density function associated to sections of a positive hermitian line bundle that vanish to a particular order along a fixed divisor Y. Assuming the data in question is invariant under an \(S^1\)-action (locally around Y) we prove that this density function has a distributional asymptotic expansion that is in fact smooth upon passing to a suitable real blow-up. Moreover we recover the existence of the “forbidden region” R on which the density function is exponentially small, and prove that it has an “error-function” behaviour across the boundary \(\partial R\). The isomonodromic tau function of the Fuchsian differential equations associated to Frobenius structures on Hurwitz spaces can be viewed as a section of a line bundle on the space of admissible covers. We study the asymptotic behavior of the tau function near the boundary of this space and compute its divisor. This yields an explicit formula for the pullback of the Hodge class to the space of admissible covers in terms of the classes of compactification divisors.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the global existence and asymptotic dynamics of solutions to a fractional singular chemotaxis system in three dimensional whole space. We deal with the new difficulties arising from fractional diffusion by using Riesz transform and Kato-Ponce’s commutator estimates appropriately, and establish the local existence of solution. Then with the help of combining the local existence and the a priori estimates, the global existence and uniqueness of solution with small initial data is derived. Moreover, we obtain the asymptotic decay rates of solution by the method of energy estimates.  相似文献
