Three new copper(II) complex compounds with chlorhexidine diacetate as a ligand have been prepared and characterized by elemental and thermogravimetrical analyses, molar conductances, magnetic susceptibility measurements, infrared, electronic and EPR spectra. The complexes correspond to the formulas: [Cu2(CHX)Cl4]·2C2H5OH, [Cu2(CHX)Br4]·2C2H5OH and [Cu2(CHX)(CH3COO)2] (CH3COO)2·2C2H5OH, where CHX = chlorhexidine, their composition and stereochemistry depending on the reaction conditions and the metal salt used. Chlorhexidine acts as neutral tetradentate NNNN donor, coordinating through the four imine nitrogen atoms. Investigations on antimicrobial activity in vitro show that all the complexes are active against the tested microorganisms, the complex with chloride being more active against Gram negative bacteria than chlorhexidine diacetate..   相似文献

Ru(III) complexes of the type [RuXB(L)2] have been prepared by the reaction of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones/thiones (HL1–HL4) with the precursors of the type [RuX3B3] where X=Cl or Br; B=PPh3 or AsPh3 and L is the deprotonated ligand. The synthesized complexes were characterized by physico-chemical methods, electrochemical and magnetic moment data. The catalytic efficiency of the complexes were examined in the oxidation of alcohols and antimicrobial studies were also carried out.   相似文献

Poly (acrylamide-acrylic acid-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate), p(AM-AA-DMAEM) and Poly(acrylamide-acrylic acid)-ethylenediaminetetracetic acid disodium, p(AM-AA)-EDTANa2 were prepared by gamma radiation-induced template polymerization technique and used for the separation of Ga (III) from Cu (II), Ni (II), and Zn (II) in aqueous media. The effect of pH and contact time on the separation process was studied. The optimum pH value for the separation process is 3–3.5. The result shows that Ga (III) is first extracted while Cu (II), Ni (II) and Zn(II) are slightly extracted at this pH value. The recovery of metals using HCl, HNO3 and H2SO4 has been studied. The resins may be regenerated using 2M HCl solutions.   相似文献

Proton transfer reactions rates between carbon acids 1-nitro-1-(4-nitrophenyl)ethane (NPNE), 2-methyl-1-nitro-1-(4-nitrophenyl)propane (MNPNP)) and phosphazenes (BEMP, BTPP, P1-t-Oct) in tetrahydrofuran have been measured, and the activation parameters were determined. The results are compared with those previously obtained for P1-t-Bu phosphazene, guanidines and amidines.   相似文献

Herein, the first example of a co-crystal system formed by an imidazolium nitrate, a carbene precursor, and copper (II) nitrate, {[Cu(NO3)2(H2O)2]L1(NO3)2} (1) (L1 = 1,1′-dibenzyl-3,3′-butyl-diimidazolium-2,2′-diylidene) is reported. These two building blocks are connected in the solid state through hydrogen bonds to generate a three-dimensional supramolecular network.   相似文献

Addition of pinacolborane (HBO2C2Me4) to 2-iodoaniline can be catalyzed using a number of palladium complexes, including [(t-Bu)2PCl]2PdCl2 (PXPd), to give the corresponding boronate ester 2-H2NC6H4(BO2C2Me4) in excellent yields. The PXPd system could also be used in the catalyzed borylation of substituted anilines to give the corresponding aminoboronate esters in moderate to high yields.   相似文献

One-pot, three-component condensation of 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde derivatives, primary amines with alkyl isocyanides is reported. N-alkyl-2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-2-iminoacetamide derivatives are generated presumably via the preliminary formation of N, N′-disubstituted benzo[b]furan-2,3-diamines and subsequent oxidation with molecular oxygen.   相似文献

The interaction of [Pd(DAP)(H2O)2]2+ (DAP = 1,3-diaminopropane) with some selected bio-relevant ligands, containing different functional groups, were investigated. The ligands used are dicarboxylic acids, amino acids, peptides and DNA constituents. Stoichiometry and stability constants of the complexes formed are reported at 25°C and 0.1 M ionic strength. The results show the formation of 1:1 complexes with amino acids and dicarboxylic acids. The effect of chelate ring size of the dicarboxylic acid complexes on their stability constants is examined. Peptides form both 1:1 complexes and the corresponding deprotonated amide species. DNA constituents form 1:1 and 1:2 complexes. The effect of dioxane on the acid dissociation constants of CBDCA and the formation constant of its complex with Pd(DAP)2+ was reported. The kinetics of hydrolysis of glycine methyl ester bound to [Pd(DAP)(H2O)2]2+ was studied at 25°C and 0.1M ionic strength.   相似文献

The anticancer activity of monensic acid (MonH) and its biometal(II) complexes [M(Mon)2(H2O)2](M = Mg, Ca, Mn, Co, Ni, Zn) was evaluated against cultured human permanent cell lines established from glioblastoma multiforme (8MGBA) and cancers of the lung (A549), breast (MCF-7), uterine cervix (HeLa) and liver (HepG2). The viability and proliferation of the non-tumor human embryonic cell line Lep3 was also tested. The investigations were carried out using a thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide test, neutral red uptake cytotoxicity assay, crystal violet staining, colony forming method and double staining with acridin orange and propidium iodide. The results obtained reveal that the compounds applied at concentrations of 0.5–25 μg mL−1 for 24–72 h decrease the viability and proliferation of the treated cells in a time- and concentration-dependent manner. The metal(II) complexes studied (especially those of Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II)) have been found to express stronger cytotoxic and cytostatic activities than the non-coordinated monensic acid. The non-tumor human cell line showed strong chemosensitivity towards compounds tested comparable to that of cultured human tumor cell lines.   相似文献

Methylcellulose (MC) / SiO2 organic / inorganic hybrid materials have been prepared from MC and methyltriethoxysilane or ethyltrimethoxysilane, and characterized by XRD, FTIR and AFM. XRD showed peak shifts. FTIR shows intermolecular hydrogen bonding between MC and SiO2. AFM depicts surface roughness which depends on the silica precursor and MC content.   相似文献

The cocrystallization of Ce2(SO4)3 and La2(SO4)3 is studied in aqueous and H2SO4 (150 g/dm3) solutions at 25 °C and 64 °C. The effect of the formation of inner sphere sulfate complexes of the type LnSO 4 + in determining the composition of the equilibrium phases is revealed.   相似文献

The kinetics of base hydrolysis of glycine, histidine, and methionine methyl esters in the presence of [Pd(pip)(H2O)2]2+ complex, where pip is piperazine, is studied in aqueous solutions, at T = 25°C, and I = 0.1 mol dm−3. The rate of ester hydrolysis for glycine methyl ester is studied at different temperature and dioxane/water solutions of different compositions. An organic-inorganic composite, poly-o-anisidine Sn(IV) phosphate, was chemically synthesized by mixing ortho-anisidine into gels of Sn(IV) phosphate with different mixing volume ratios. Studies on the effect of eluant concentration, elution behavior and separation of metal ions were carried out to understand the ion-exchange capabilities. Due to Cd(II) selective nature of composite, revealed by distribution studies, Cd(II) ion selective membrane electrode was fabricated. The analytical utility of the electrode was established by employing it as an indicator electrode in electrometric titrations having fast response time, 3–5s, and long life span of six months. Some physical parameters like self-diffusion coefficient (D0), activation energy (Ea) and entropy of activation (ΔS0) have been evaluated under conditions favoring a particle diffusion-controlled mechanism by studying ion-exchange kinetics.   相似文献

The single crystal X-ray structures and the spectroscopic properties of complexes of monensic acid (C36H62O11·H2O) with toxic metal ions of Cd(II) and Hg(II) are discussed. The cadmium(II) complex (1) is of composition [Cd(C36H61O11)2(H2O)2] and crystallizes in the monoclinic system (space group P2(1), Z = 2) with a = 12.4090(8), b = 24.7688(16), c = 14.4358(11) Å, β = 91.979(7)°. Two ligand monoanions are bound in a bidentate coordination mode to Cd(II) via the carboxylate and the primary hydroxyl oxygens occupying the equatorial plane of the complex. The axial positions of the inner coordination sphere of Cd(II) are filled by two water molecules additionally engaged in intramolecular hydrogen bonds. The Hg(II) complex (2), [Hg(C36H60O11)(H2O)], crystallizes in the orthorhombic system (space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), Z = 4) with a = 12.7316(2), b = 16.4379(3), c = 18.7184(4) Å. The monensic acid reacts with Hg(II) in a tetradentate coordination manner via both oxygen atoms of the carboxylate function and oxygens of two hydroxyl groups. The twofold negative charge of the ligand is achieved by deprotonation of carboxylic and secondary hydroxyl groups located at the opposite ends of the molecule. Hg(II) is surrounded by five oxygen atoms in a distorted square pyramidal molecular geometry.

Photometric determination of aqueous Co(II), Cu(II), Ni(II) and Fe(III) was performed using indicator films prepared by immobilization of 1-nitroso-2-naphthol-3,6-disulfonic acid disodium salt (NRS) into hardened photographic film. Immobilization was based on electrostatic interaction of reagent and metal complexes with the gelatin. The isoelectric point pH of hardened gelatin (4.46±0.04) was evaluated by viscometry. Co(II), Fe(III), Ni(II) form 1:3 complexes with NRS in gelatin at pH 2 and Cu(II) forms 1:2 complexes. Their log β′ values were: Co-6.7, Fe-8.6, Cu-8.0, and Ni-6.4. The absorption maxima were: 370nm for NRS, and 430nm, 470nm, 495nm and 720nm for complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III). An algorithm for their simultaneous determination using the indicator films was developed. The detection limits were: clim(Co2+) = 0.45×10−5 M, clim(Fe3+) = 0.50×10−5 M, clim(Cu2+) = 0.67×10−5 M, clim(Ni2+) = 0.75×10−5 M,; and their sum clim(ΣMn+) = 0.82×10−5 M.   相似文献

A binuclear copper complex [{Cu(L)2}2], C68H48Cu2N4O12C (where L is 4-methyl-7-(salicylideneamino)coumarin), has been synthesized and characterized using elemental analysis, molar conductance measurements, and infrared, ultraviolet and ESR spectrosopy. The molecular structure of title compound, determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies, reveals that the two symmetric Cu(L)2 units are associated into a dimer by rather long Cu...O bonds. The Cu(II) ions are bridged via the phenolic oxygen of one of the monomers and have distorted trigonal bipyramidal conformation geometry. Within each monomer the two methylsubstituted coumarin skeletons are trans to one another, but adopt a parallel arrangement with respect to the other monomer. Only half of the complex molecule can be found in the asymmetric unit, Z′ = 0.5, the other half is generated by the symmetry centre.   相似文献

A series of organic/inorganic hybrid materials containing the single-molecule magnet [Mn12(CH3COO)16(H2O)4O12]·2CH3COOH·4H2O with the photochromic compounds azobenzene or disperse red 1 cast into polymethyl methacrylate films was prepared. To understand the photomodulation of analogous mixtures’ AC susceptibility, we investigated the molecular alignment based on Weigert’s effect accompanying cycles of cis-trans photoisomerization by alternate irradiations with polarized UV and visible light. Polarized electronic spectra of the hybrid materials demonstrated gradually increasing anisotropy. These features suggest interactions between photochromic compounds and the Mn12 complex in polymethyl methacrylate.   相似文献
