In this article, we study a type of nonlinear fractional boundary value problem with integral boundary conditions. By constructing an associated Green's function, applying spectral theory and using fixed point theory on cones, we obtain criteria for the existence, multiplicity and nonexistence of positive solutions. 相似文献

In this paper we consider boundary integral methods appliedto boundary value problems for the positive definite Helmholtz-typeproblem U + 2U = 0 in a bounded or unbounded domain,with the parameter real and possibly large. Applications arisein the implementation of spacetime boundary integralmethods for the heat equation, where is proportional to 1/(t),and t is the time step. The corresponding layer potentials arisingfrom this problem depend nonlinearly on the parameter and havekernels which become highly peaked as , causing standard discretizationschemes to fail. We investigate some classes of eigenvalue dependent boundary value problems of the form where A ? A+ is a symmetric operator or relation in a Krein space K, τ is a matrix function and Γ0, Γ1 are abstract boundary mappings. It is assumed that A admits a self‐adjoint extension in K which locally has the same spectral properties as a definitizable relation, and that τ is a matrix function which locally can be represented with the resolvent of a self‐adjoint definitizable relation. The strict part of τ is realized as the Weyl function of a symmetric operator T in a Krein space H, a self‐adjoint extension à of A × T in K × H with the property that the compressed resolvent PK (à – λ)–1|K k yields the unique solution of the boundary value problem is constructed, and the local spectral properties of this so‐called linearization à are studied. This note deals with some boundary value problems in a self-similar ramified domain of , with a fractal boundary. The partial differential equation is Laplace's equation, and there are nonhomogeneous generalized Neumann boundary conditions on the fractal boundary. We propose a multiscale strategy for approximating the restriction of the solutions to simple subdomains. We suggest a numerical method for solving systems of linear nonautonomous ordinary differential equations with nonseparated multipoint and integral conditions. By using this method, which is based on the operation of convolution of integral conditions into local ones, one can reduce the solution of the original problem to the solution of a Cauchy problem for systems of ordinary differential equations and linear algebraic equations. We establish bounded linear growth of the error of the suggested numerical schemes. Numerical experiments were carried out for specially constructed test problems. 相似文献
