针对弱非线性的Longuet-Higgins模型在模拟强非线性畸形波海面时所存在的问题,采用修正的相位调制法模拟一维畸形波时间、空间波面,该方法能够实现畸形波的定时定点生成,并且其波形既能保持目标谱的频谱结构,又能较大程度地满足波浪序列的统计特性.同时,基于改进的双尺度(TSM)法及时域有限差分法建立畸形波的电磁散射模型,经过相对平均偏差和均方根偏差误差分析后,基于TSM法研究分析了畸形波及其背景海面波的归一化雷达散射截面(NRCS)的计算结果.实验表明,合成孔径雷达成像中畸形波的NRCS比背景波要小,即畸形波的合成孔径雷达图像成像比背景波要灰暗,因此可以将NRCS作为畸形波的特征识别标识.通过分析研究不同极化方式、入射角、入射频率条件下畸形波与背景波面的电磁散射特性实验数据得出:当二者的NRCS差值大于-11.8 dB及以上时,即认为产生畸形波,这为实际的工程应用提供了参照标准. 相似文献

The interaction between a very-high-frequency gravitational wave (VHFGW) and an electromagnetic wave (EMW) in a rectangular waveguide is discussed in the weak field limit. The background EMW is assumed to be initially in the TE10 mode along the waveguide. It is then shown that a VHFGW, having the same frequency and direction of propagation of the EMW, induces through the waveguide a TE mode with a frequency doubled when compared to the original EMW frequency. In that respect, the GW acts similar to a non-linear medium, giving rise to a Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) effect. 相似文献

This paper introduces a continuum microelectromagnetic theory (also called micromorphic electromagnetic theory), to discuss electromagnetic phenomena in bodies with microstructures. Balance laws of microelectromagnetic media of the first-grade are given. Constitutive equations are developed. The field equations are obtained . It has been shown that, this theory gives rise to several new vector and tensor waves. A theorem of conservation of energy (Poynting type) is proved. Dispersion relations are obtained for both vector and tensor waves. Relations of tensor waves to microscopic phenomena (such as spin waves) are discussed. 相似文献

In this review, we present our recent work on making structured metals transparent for broadband electromagnetic waves and acoustic waves via excitation of surface waves. First, we theoretically show that one-dimensional metallic gratings can become transparent and completely antireflective for extremely broadband electromagnetic waves by relying on surface plasmons or spoof surface plasmons. Second, we experimentally demonstrate that metallic gratings with narrow slits are highly transparent for broadband terahertz waves at oblique incidence and high transmission efficiency is insensitive to the metal thickness. Further, we significantly develop oblique metal gratings transparent for broadband electromagnetic waves (including optical waves and terahertz ones) under normal incidence. In the third, we find the principles of broadband transparency for structured metals can be extended from one-dimensional metallic gratings to two-dimensional cases. Moreover, similar phenomena are found in sonic artificially metallic structures, which present the transparency for broadband acoustic waves. These investigations provide guidelines to develop many novel materials and devices, such as transparent conducting panels, antireflective solar cells, and other broadband metamaterials and stealth technologies. 相似文献

We present methods for the construction of exact diagonal cylindrically symmetric solutions in a four dimensional low energy
limit of string theory, the Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton gravity. The methods allow us to generate exact string backgrounds from
known solutions to the equations of Einstein or Einstein gravity coupled to a massless scalar field. We also give and analyze
explicit examples of such solutions. It is shown that they are free of curvature singularities,(quasi)regular on the axis
of symmetry, asymptotically flat and describe nonrotating cosmic strings interacting with gravitational, dilaton and electromagnetic

We study the dynamics of Bose-Einstein condensate coupled to a waveguide with parity-time symmetric potential in the presence of quadratic-cubic nonlinearity modelled by Gross-Pitaevskii equation with external source. We employ the self-similar technique to obtain matter wave solutions, such as bright, kink-type, rational dark and Lorentzian-type self-similar waves for this model. The dynamical behavior of self-similar matter waves can be controlled through variation of trapping potential, external source and nature of nonlinearities present in the system. 相似文献

The properties of electromagnetic waves propagating inside isotropic or uniaxial dielectric media moving in an arbitrary direction are analysed. The scalar products of electromagnetic field vectors inside these moving media are investigated in the kEB system from Maxwell's equations and Lorentz-covariant constitutive relations. Several important equations are derived. We consider lattice versions of Maxwell's equations and of the equation that governs the propagation of acoustic waves in a random medium. The vector nature of electromagnetic waves is fully taken into account. The medium is assumed to be a small perturbation of a periodic one. We prove rigorously that localized eigenstates arise in a vicinity of the edges of the gaps in the spectrum. Factors affecting properties of periodic waves are analyzed. ABSTRACTThe rapid development of telecommunication devices and related technologies improved the distribution of electromagnetic (EM) waves within the environment, which can adversely affect the performance of electronic systems and put the life of living species in serious danger; thus, practical alternatives are required to protect vulnerable sources from them. To address this demand, we developed reinforced composites with graphene oxide (GO)-lead oxide (GO-Pb3O4) hybrid 2D nanosheets at diverse filler loadings by employing the vacuum shock technique. Next, the developed fillers and composites were well characterized by the diverse analysis methods and their electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness (EMI SE) was evaluated and compared with their X-ray shielding performance. The obtained results showed that the developed composites can perfectly attenuate X-ray waves and weaken the total power of applied EM waves (in X-band frequency (8.2–12.4 GHz)) more than 50%. In this regard, a 6 mm thick specimen containing 10?wt% GO-Pb3O4 attenuated emitted X-ray waves equal to 4.06, 4.83 and 3.91?mmAl at 40, 60 and 80?kVp energies, which shows about 124%, 124% and 121% increase, respectively, in the X-ray attenuation compared with neat epoxy resin. These results indicated that developed composites are perfect candidates to protect vulnerable sources from diverse EM sources, and despite the insulative nature of the GO-Pb3O4, these hybrid nanosheets can act as a potential barrier against EM waves. 相似文献

Scattering characteristics of plane waves by a sectorial groove in a perfectly conducting plane are investigated. Both the
transverse magnetic (TM) and transverse electric (TE) polarizations of the incident wave are considered. Judicious use of
the region-matching technique provides a rigorous series solution to the problem. The analyzed region is separated into two
sub-regions by choosing a semi-circular auxiliary boundary. Thefield in each sub-region is expanded as a summationof proper
wave functions with unknown coefficients. Enforcing the matching of conditions on the auxiliary boundary and of boundary condition
on the circular-arc surface of the groove leads to a linear set of equations and the unknown coefficients are then determined.
Numerical results demonstrate the influence of central angles of the sectorial groove on echo width, far-field pattern and
near-field distribution. The presented geometry is easily applicable to the design and fabrication of a grating structure
for optical switches and tunable filters.

The (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear inviscid barotropic nondivergent vorticity equation in a beta-plane is analyzed by using the classical Lie group approach. Using the group theory, some types of general exact Rossby wave solutions can be obtained whence a special Rossby wave solution is known. Especially, it is found that the only effect of the time-dependent background basic wind on the Rossby waves is the accumulate motion in the zonal direction. In the present paper, the random interfacial waves in N-layer density-stratified fluids moving at different steady uniform speeds are researched by using an expansion technique, and the second-order asymptotic solutions of the random displacements of the density interfaces and the associated velocity potentials in N-layer fluid are presented based on the small amplitude wave theory. The obtained results indicate that the wave-wave second-order nonlinear interactions of the wave components and the second-order nonlinear interactions between the waves and currents are described. As expected, the solutions include those derived by Chen (2006) as a special case where the steady uniform currents of the N-layer fluids are taken as zero, and the solutions also reduce to those obtained by Song (2005) for second-order solutions for random interfacial waves with steady uniform currents if N = 2. 相似文献

The spectrum of electromagnetic (EM) radiation from two-dimensional(2D) plasmons in a semiconductor-dielectric structure with metal grating has been calculated in a strict electromagnetic approach. It is shown that radiation frequency and linewidth vary over a broad range of magnitude as a function of the grating parameters. The radiative decay linewidth is found to be two orders of magnitude larger than expected from the perturbation theory. Comparison of the results with previously published experimental data on 2D plasmons in GaAs heterostructures makes us conclude that the main contribution to the experimental decay linewidth arises from dielectric losses in the layers of the structure. 相似文献

We discovered that in the infrared in conditions of surface electromagnetic waves (SEW) excitiation on finite grating coupler a wave packet consisted of evanescent and bulk waves is generated. This wave packet is conventionally called pressed wave by us. The wave packet is demonstrated to satisfy Maxwell equations and boundary conditions on smooth part of a surface outside the grating coupler. An approach to deal with the limit of geometrical optics of electromagnetic waves which propagate in moving nonlinear local dielectric media in the context of Maxwellian electrodynamics is here developed in order to apply to quite general material media. Fresnel equations for the light rays are generically found, and its solutions are intrinsically obtained. We have investigated the effects of acceleration of a charged particle on its Cerenkov emission and ionization-losses. We have considered the accelerated motion of a charged particle in an infinite medium with the acceleration parallel to the direction of its motion. We have used the method of Fourier transforms to solve the Maxwell's equations with appropriate current and charge-densities to find electromagnetic fields and hence the force experienced by the incident charge due to its interaction with the medium (dielectric or plasma). The results obtained are general and applicable to any acceleration. In the approximations of ‘small acceleration’ and ‘small interaction time’, we have solved the wave equations and determined electromagnetic potentials. It is found that the acceleration of the charged particle strongly changes both its ionization-loss and Cerenkov emission. 相似文献
