The spread s(G) of a graph G is defined as s(G) = max i,j i − λ j |, where the maximum is taken over all pairs of eigenvalues of G. Let U(n,k) denote the set of all unicyclic graphs on n vertices with a maximum matching of cardinality k, and U *(n,k) the set of triangle-free graphs in U(n,k). In this paper, we determine the graphs with the largest and second largest spectral radius in U *(n,k), and the graph with the largest spread in U(n,k).   相似文献

Summary: Biodegradation of film specimens from polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) of two types – poly-3-hydroxybutyrate (PHB) and poly-3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate (PHBV) – was analysed in different environments: tropical sea waters of the South China Sea (Nha Trang, Vietnam) and soils in the environs of Hanoi (Vietnam), Nha Trang (Vietnam) and Krasnoyarsk (Siberia, Russia). In seawater, the mass loss of the specimens of both types was almost equal. However, in tropical soils, PHB degraded quicker than PHBV. In the Siberian soil, the degradation rate of the PHBV was generally higher than that of PHBV. Analysis of molecular mass of PHA specimens showed its decreasing during biodegradation. In the tropical sea conditions, PHA degrading microorganisms were represented by bacteria of Enterobacter, Bacillus and Gracilibacillus genera. Among PHA degrading bacteria, Burkholderia, Alcaligenes, Bacillus, Mycobacterium and Streptomyces genera were identified in Vietnamese soils, and Variovorax, Stenotrophomonas, Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas, Bacillus and Xanthomonas genera in Siberian soils. Micromycetes of Gongronella, Paecilomyces, Penicillium and Trichoderma genera exhibited PHA degrading activity in Vietnamese soils, and Paecilomyces, Penicillium, Acremonium, Verticillium and Zygosporium genera – in Siberian soils.  相似文献

Observation of Newton black film (NBF) in foam film is possible only with a certain probability W which depends on the concentration C of surfactant in the solution and on the time ta during which adsorption of surfactant at the solution/air interface has taken place. In the paper, the W(C,ta) dependence is derived and used to analyze the effect of ta on the critical surfactant concentration Cc below which NBF in foam film practically cannot be observed. An expression for the Cc(ta) function is obtained which reveals that Cc decreases substantially with increasing ta. This expression is found to describe well experimental Cc(ta) data for foam films obtained from aqueous solution of the therapeutic surfactant INFASURF.  相似文献

The spherically averaged electron-pair intracule (relative motion) h(u) and extracule (center-of-mass motion) d(R) densities are a couple of densities which characterize the motion of electron pairs in atomic systems. We study a generalized electron-pair density (q; a, b) that represents the probability density function for the magnitude of two-electron vector a r j +b r k of any pair of electrons j and k to be q, where a and b are nonzero real numbers. In particular, h(u)=g(u;1, −1) and d(R) = . It is shown that the scaling property of the Dirac delta function and the inversion symmetry of orbitals in atoms due to the central force field generate several isomorphic relations in the electron-pair density (q; a, b) with respect to the two parameters a and b. The approximate isomorphism d(R)≅8h(2R) known in the literature between the intracule and extracule densities is a special case of the present results. A method for construction of the characteristic polynomial (CP) coefficients of the three classes of reciprocal graphs, viz., Ln + n(p), Cn + n(p), and K1,n?1 + n(p), has been developed that requires only the value of n. The working formulas have been expressed in matrix product form, computer programs for which can easily be developed. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2005  相似文献

Rate constants and activation parameters are reported for the decarboxylation of n-butylmalonic acid in four normal alkanols (hexanol? 1, octanol? 1, decanol? 1, and dodecanol? 1) and in five amines (aniline, N-methylaniline, N-ethylaniline, N-n-propylaniline, and N-n-butylaniline). Both ΔH? and ΔS? of the reaction in both homologous series decrease regularly with increasing length of the hydrocarbon chain of solvent. If we compare data for the reaction in alkanol–amine pairs containing the same total number of carbon atoms in the molecule, we find that the ΔH? values are identical, but that the value of ΔS? is 0.8 eu/mole higher for the reaction in the amines as compared with the alcohol. The rate constant, at all temperatures, is 1.5 times as large in the amine as it is in the corresponding alcohol. Empirical equations are deduced relating the parameters ΔH? ΔS? ΔG? and k of the reaction to the parameters n and T, where n is the total number of carbon atoms in the solvent molecule and T is the absolute temperature. The results reported herein are compared with previously reported data for malonic acid.  相似文献

Thermogravimetric analyses of thermal decomposition (pyrolysis, thermal dissociation and combustion) of 9 different samples were carried out in dynamic conditions at different heating rates. The kinetic parameters (E, A and km) of thermal decomposition were determined and interrelations between the parameters and heating rate q were analyzed. There were also relations between Arrhenius and Eyring equations analyzed for thermal decomposition of solid phase. It was concluded that Eyring theory is an element, which interconnects used thermokinetic equations containing Arrhenius law and suggests considering kinetic quantities in way relative to 3 kinetic constants (E, A and km). Analysis of quantities other than km (i.e. E, A, Δ+H, Δ+S) in relation to heating rate is an incomplete method and does not lead to unambiguous conclusions. It was ascertained that in ideal case, assuming constant values of kinetic parameters (E and A) towards heating rate and satisfying both Kissinger equations, reaction rate constant km should take on values intermediate between constants (km)1 and (km)2 determined from these equations. Whereas behavior of parameters E and A towards q were not subjected to any rule, then plotting relation km vs. q in the background of (km)1 and (km)2 made possible classification of differences between thermal decomposition processes taking place in oxidizing and oxygen-free atmosphere.  相似文献

The fracture energy G of an adhesive bond appears to be a product of two terms: G = GO [1 + f(R, T)], where GO is the intrinsic (chemical) strength of the interface and f(R, T), usually much larger than unity, reflects energy dissipated within the adherends at a crack speed R and temperature T. Values of GO have been determined for interlinked sheets of an SBR elastomer by measuring the peel strength at low rates and high temperatures, and in the swollen state, to minimize internal losses. Both the density ΔN and molecular length L of interlinking molecules were varied. GO was found to increase in proportion to (ΔN)L3/2, in accord with the molecular theory of Lake and Thomas. As the peel rate was raised and the test temperature lowered, G was considerably increased by internal dissipative processes, becoming as much as 1000 × GO near the glass transition. The loss function f(R, T) was found to depend somewhat upon the strand length L, being about twice as large at intermediate peel rates when L was increased by 40%. It also depended on the density ΔN of interlinking molecules, being about twice as large at high peel rates when the density of interlinks was reduced by a factor of six. Thus, the loss function f(R, T) is greater when the interlinking molecules are few and long, and it is lower when they are many and short. However, it is mainly governed by two parameters: peel rate R and temperature difference (TTg), in accord with a viscoelastic loss mechanism. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The antibacterial activity of essential oil and methanolic extract of Teucrium polium was determined against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pantoea agglomerans, Brenneria nigrifluens, Rhizobium radiobacter, Rhizobium vitis, Streptomyces scabies, Ralstonia solanacearum, Xanthomonas campestris and Pectobacterium cartovorum by disc diffusion method. Minimum inhibitory concentration and minimum bactericidal concentration were determined by using the serial dilution method. Chemical composition of essential oil and methanolic extract was determined by GC-MS and HPLC. α-Pinene (25.769%) and myrcene (12.507) were of the highest percentage in T. polium essential oil, and sinapic acid (15.553 mg/g) and eugenol (6.805 mg/g) were the major compounds in the methanolic extract. Our results indicate that both methanolic extract and essential oil did not show antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa. Also the essential oil did not show antibacterial activity against P. cartovorum. In general, both methanolic extract and essential oil showed the same antibacterial activity against R. solanacearum, P. agglomerans, B. nigrifluens and S. scabies.  相似文献

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative evaluation of some biological properties of methanol and water extracts of leaves of five Juniperus taxa growing in Turkey: J. communis L. var. communis (Jcc), J. communis L. var. saxatilis Pall. (Jcs), J. drupacea Labill. (Jd), J. oxycedrus L. subsp. oxycedrus (Joo), J. oxycedrus L. subsp. macrocarpa (Sibth. & Sm.) Ball. (Jom). The antioxidant properties were examined in vitro; both in the DPPH and in the reducing power tests, Joo methanol extract resulted the most active (IC50?=?0.09?±?0.01mg/mL and ASE/mL?=?2.56?±?0.06). In the TBA assay, Jcs methanol extract exhibited the highest activity (IC50?=?4.39?±?0.47?μg/mL). The extracts displayed bacteriostatic activity against Staphylococcus aureus, and Jd methanol extract resulted the most effective (MIC?=?19.53?μg/mL); no effect on the S. aureus biofilm formation was observed. The extracts resulted non-toxic in the Artemia salina lethality bioassay. Finally, the phenolic profile of the methanol extracts was characterized by HPLC-PDA/ESI-MS.  相似文献

The order of reactivity of OH and NH groups of glucosamine hydrochloride (GlcNH2.HCl) and N-acetyl glucosamine (GlcNAc) toward benzylation with NaH/BnBr in DMF was investigated. For GlcNH2.HCl, benzyl groups were introduced in the order of N-Bn > N-Bn2 > 1-O-Bn > 6-O-Bn > 4-O-Bn > 3-O-Bn; for GlcNAc, benzyl groups were introduced in the order of 1-O-Bn > 6-O-Bn > 4-O-Bn > 3-O-Bn > N-Bn. A range of partially benzylated 2-N,N′-dibenzyl glucopyranosides and GlcNAc derivatives were obtained in a single step.  相似文献

The cyclization constant Kc in the radical cyclopolymerization of acrylic and methacrylic anhydrides was evaluated in detail under various conditions. No linear relationship between in Kc and 1/T was observed; cyclization was acceleratively enhanced at elevated temperatures. The Kc values also increased with decreased monomer concentration and increased solvent polarity. These increasing dependencies of Kc are ascribed to the increased significance of depropagation, demonstrating a new interpretation of the temperature dependence of the cyclization constant in the radical cyclopolymerization of nonconjugated dienes.  相似文献

Abstract

Angular distributions of intensity of X-ray radiation scattered in solutions of n-butanol-1 in cyclohexane have been measured and analyzed. The mean least intermolecular distances in the solution were determined. It was established that in the range of very low concentrations X of the solutions studied the distribution of the intermolecular distances R(X) revealed three extremes. In this concentration range the fluctuations of the distance R are related to the earlier observed fluctuations of the solution density: the minimum in R(X) at X?0.028 mole fraction corresponds to the maximum in d(X) in the range 0.015 ≤X≤ 0.035 mole fraction, while the two maxima in R(X) at X ?0.007 and X?0.05 mole fraction correspond to the minima in d(X) in the mole fraction ranges 0≤ X ≤0.015 and 0.026 ≤ X ≤0.05.

In the range 0.05 ≤X≤ 0.9 mole fraction the main role in ordering of the solution molecules is played by the associated molecules of the alcohol with voids containing individual molecules of the solvent.  相似文献

The composition of novel terpolymers containing acrylamide (A), acryloyloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride (Q), and bis-1,3(N,N,N-trimethylammonium)-2-propylmethacrylate dichloride (M) was analyzed combining FTIR and potentiometric titration. Calibration with AQ and AM copolymers of known composition was the prerequisite for the quantitative analysis of the terpolymers by FTIR. The analysis revealed deviations from the initial monomer feed composition resulting from different monomer reactivity. The differences became more pronounced when M increased in the feed. This suggests lowest reactivity for M. Lower intrinsic viscosity [η] for higher fraction of M in the feed confirmed the suggestion. The low reactivity results from the electrostatic influence of the two charges of M on the chain propagation, yielding shorter chains for more double-charged M in the monomer feed. For all terpolymers, the counterion activity was lower than theoretically expected and did not correlate with the average charge density. Heterogeneous charge distribution was hypothesized as the reason.  相似文献

To evaluate the detoxification effect of a combination of Radix Glycyrrhizae (GU) and Semen Strychni (SN) from toxicokinetics and drug tissue distribution perspectives, decoctions of processed SN and codecoction of SN and GU (SGN) were prepared, and an HPLC-ESI-MS/MS method was developed to monitor the severe exposure level in 1-month toxicokinetics and tissue distribution experiments to detect brucine and strychnine in rats. The toxicokinetic characteristics and tissue distribution before and after the addition of GU were analyzed. The method was successfully applied to evaluate the toxicokinetics and tissue distribution before and after the combination of SN and GU. The results show that GU decreased the blood concentration of toxic components in SN, and a double peak was observed in the drug time curve. The results of tissue distribution show that a combination of GU and SN significantly decreased the accumulation of toxic substances in metabolic organs and accelerated the clearance of toxic substances in the brain. These results provide a reference for the toxicity reduction mechanism of GU combined with SN.  相似文献

The first example of the control of porphyrinoid chromophore symmetry based on the positional isomerism of peripheral substituents has been achieved by preparing tetraazaporphyrins (TAPs) with C4h, D2h, C2v, and Cs symmetry due to the relative arrangement of peripheral tert‐butylamino and cyano groups as push and pull substituents, respectively. The four structural isomers were successfully isolated and characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy and X‐ray crystallography. The band morphology in the Q‐band region varies depending on the molecular symmetry due to the significant perturbation introduced into the chromophore by the push and pull substituents. The C4h and C2v isomers exhibit a single Q band, whereas the Q bands of the D2h and Cs isomers show a marked splitting. The magnetic circular dichroism spectra indicate that the push–pull TAPs retain the properties of the 16‐membered 18π‐electron perimeter generally observed for porphyrinoids. Theoretical calculations have demonstrated that the perturbation introduced by the substituents lowers the D4h symmetry of the parent TAP π‐conjugated system, and this results in significant spectral changes. A novel approach to the fine‐tuning of the spectral properties of porphyrinoids based on changes in the chromophore symmetry is described.  相似文献

Seed oils of 12 Salvia species collected from different regions in Turkey (S. Albimaculata Hedge & Hub.-Mor., S. Candidisima Vahl., S. Cedronella Boiss., S. Cryptantha Montbret & Aucher ex Bentham, S. Forskahlei L., S. Fruticosa Miller (Sin. S. Triloba L. Fil), S. Halophila Hedge, S. Hypargeia Fisch. & Mey., S. Sclarea L., S. Tomentosa Miller, S. Tchihatcheffii (Fisch. & Mey.) Boiss., S. Virgata Jacq.) were obtained by Soxhlet apparatus using hexane. The oil yields were found to be between 2.0% and 20.9%. Fatty acids in the oils were converted to methyl esters and determined by GC/MS in methyl ester form. The main fatty acid components of S. halophila, S. Hypargeia, and S. Sclarea are unsaturated oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acids. In others except S. Candidissima, the dominant acids are oleic, linoleic and palmitic acids.  相似文献

A new series of iron(III) complexes with different fourth generation of quinolone drugs of the type [Fe(L)n(Cl)x]?yH2O (( 1 ) L: nalidixic acid, n = 3, x = 3, y = 3; ( 2 ) L: oxolonic acid, n = 3, x = 3, y = 0; ( 3 ) L: pipemidic acid, n = 3, x = 3, y = 2; ( 4 ) L: lomefloxacin, n = 3, x = 3, y = 0; ( 5 ) L: pefloxacin mesylate, n = 3, x = 3, y = 2; ( 6 ) L: levofloxacin, n = 3, x = 3, y = 6) were synthesized and identified using microanalysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, conductance data, effective magnetic moments and electronic UV–visible spectra. In these six complexes, the quinolone drug chelates act in a unidentate manner via nitrogen atom of pyridone/piperazyl moiety. Electronic spectroscopic data are in agreement with an octahedral geometrical structure. Thermal degradation analyses in nitrogen gas were used to investigate the number and location of water molecules. The thermal decomposition process is completed in 3?5 steps, the first step being responsible for loss of uncoordinated water molecules and the steady state of all complexes occurs at around 500 °C with oxide forms as residual products. The stabilities of iron(III) complexes 1 – 6 were studied in terms of activation energy E*, entropy ΔS*, enthalpy ΔH* and Gibbs free energy ΔG* that were estimated using Coats–Redfern and Horowitz–Metzger non‐isothermal methods. Molecular docking was used to predict the binding between some of the quinolone drugs and the receptor of prostate cancer 2q7k hormone.  相似文献

The large N expansion of the restricted Hartree–Fock (RHF) exchange energy per atom E(N) of the Pariser–Parr–Pople (PPP) model of cyclic polyenes (annulenes) CNHN is derived in detail. We explicitly derive the coefficients E0 and E1 of the asymptotic expansion: E(N)=E0+E1 ln N/N2+O(N−2), N→∞, in the very simple case of half-filling and no bond alternation. The exchange energy per atom in the infinite chain can be written as Eex=(2/π2)∑j=1{[γ(2j−1)]/[(2j−1)2]}, where γ is the two-electron repulsion integral in the infinite chain. On the other hand, the second coefficient E1 giving a finite-size correction is found to be 1/2b, where b is the bond length. This value of E1 differs slightly from that of a linear chain with periodic boundary conditions because the distance between sites depends upon the radius of the ring, i.e., upon N. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Summary In this paper, the integral methods in general use are divided into two types in terms of their different ways to in order to deal with the temperature integral p(x): for Type A the function h(x)=p(x)x2ex is regarded as constant vs. x, while for Type B h(x) varies vs. x and ln[p(x)] is assumed to have the approximation form of ln[p(x)]=alnx+bx+c (the coefficients a, b, and c are constant). The errors of kinetic parameters calculated by these two types of methods are derived as functions of x and analyzed theoretically. It is found that Type A methods have the common errors of activation energy, while the Coats-Redfern method can lead to more accurate value of frequency factor than others. The accuracy of frequency factor can be further enhanced by adjusting the expression of the Coats-Redfern approximation. Although using quite simple approximation of the temperature integral, the Coats-Redfern method has the best performance among Type A methods, implying that usage of a sophisticated approximation may be unnecessary in kinetic analysis. For Type B, the revised MKN method has a lower error in activation energy and an acceptable error in frequency factor, and thus it can be reliably used. Comparatively, the Doyle method has higher error of activation energy and great error of the frequency factor, and thus it is not recommended to be adopted in kinetic analysis.  相似文献
