Let ``' stand for Hochschild (co)homology. In this note we show that for many rings there exists such that for an arbitrary -bimodule we have . Such a result may be viewed as an analog of Poincaré duality.

Combining this equality with a computation of Soergel allows one to compute the Hochschild homology of a regular minimal primitive quotient of an enveloping algebra of a semisimple Lie algebra, answering a question of Polo.

In this paper, we investigate the question of when the determinantal ring R over a field k is an almost Gorenstein local/graded ring in the sense of [14 Goto, S., Takahashi, R., Taniguchi, N. (2015). Almost Gorenstein rings - towards a theory of higher dimension. J. Pure Appl. Algebra 219:26662712.[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]]. As a consequence of the main result, we see that if R is a non-Gorenstein almost Gorenstein local/graded ring, then the ring R has a minimal multiplicity.  相似文献

Abstract

Let A be an n-Gorenstein ring. Employing the theory developed by Enochs on the existence of Gorenstein preenvelopes and precovers, we introduce the concept of Gorenstein tilting pair. Moreover, we give a simple characterization on Gorenstein tilting pair, which shows that Gorenstein cotilting and tilting modules are special examples of Gorenstein tilting pair.  相似文献

In this article, Gorenstein FP-injective modules are introduced and investigated. A left R-module M is called Gorenstein FP-injective if there is an exact sequence … → E 1 → E 0 → E 0 → E 1 → … of FP-injective left R-modules with M = ker(E 0 → E 1) such that Hom R (P, ?) leaves the sequence exact whenever P is a finitely presented left R-module with pd R (P) < ∞. Some properties of Gorenstein FP-injective modules are obtained. Several well-known classes of rings are characterized in terms of Gorenstein FP-injective modules.  相似文献

We prove that the class of Gorenstein injective modules is both enveloping and covering over a two sided noetherian ring such that the character modules of Gorenstein injective modules are Gorenstein flat. In the second part of the paper we consider the connection between the Gorenstein injective modules and the strongly cotorsion modules. We prove that when the ring R is commutative noetherian of finite Krull dimension, the class of Gorenstein injective modules coincides with that of strongly cotorsion modules if and only if the ring R is in fact Gorenstein.  相似文献

We show that over a right coherent left perfect ring R, a complex C of left R-modules is Gorenstein projective if and only if C m is Gorenstein projective in R-Mod for all m ∈ ℤ. Basing on this we show that if R is a right coherent left perfect ring then Gpd(C) = sup{Gpd(C m )|m ∈ ℤ} where Gpd(−) denotes Gorenstein projective dimension.  相似文献

Let R be a Gorenstein ring.We prove that if I is an ideal of R such that R/I is a semi-simple ring,then the Gorenstein flat dimension of R/I as a right R-module and the Gorenstein injective dimension of R/I as a left R-module are identical.In addition,we prove that if R→S is a homomorphism of rings and SE is an injective cogenerator for the category of left S-modules,then the Gorenstein flat dimension of S as a right R-module and the Gorenstein injective dimension of E as a left R-module are identical.We also give some applications of these results.  相似文献

This article continues to investigate a particular case of Gorenstein FP-injective modules, called strongly Gorenstein FP-injective modules. Some examples are given to show that strongly Gorenstein FP-injective modules lie strictly between FP-injective modules and Gorenstein FP-injective modules. Let R be a ring,X a class of R-modules and n ≥ 1 an integer.We intro-duce the concepts of Gorenstein n-X-injective and n-X-flat modules via special finitely presented modules.Besides,we obtain some equivalent properties of these modules on n-X-coherent rings.Then we investigate the relations among Gorenstein n-X-injective,n-X-flat,injective and fiat modules on X-FC-rings (i.e.,self n-X-injective and n-X-coherent rings).Several known results are generalized to this new context.  相似文献

A right R-module M is called glat if any homomorphism from any finitely presented right R-module to M factors through a finitely presented Gorenstein projective right R-module. The concept of glat modules may be viewed as another Gorenstein analogue of flat modules. We first prove that the class of glat right R-modules is closed under direct sums, direct limits, pure quotients and pure submodules for arbitrary ring R. Then we obtain that a right R-module M is glat if and only if M is a direct limit of finitely presented Gorenstein projective right R-modules. In addition, we explore the relationships between glat modules and Gorenstein flat (Gorenstein projective) modules. Finally we investigate the existence of preenvelopes and precovers by glat and finitely presented Gorenstein projective modules.  相似文献

Abstract

Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring. There are several characterizations of Gorenstein rings in terms of classical homological dimensions of their modules. In this paper, we use Gorenstein dimensions (Gorenstein injective and Gorenstein flat dimension) to describe Gorenstein rings. Moreover a characterization of Gorenstein injective (resp. Gorenstein flat) modules over Gorenstein rings is given in terms of their Gorenstein flat (resp. Gorenstein injective) resolutions.  相似文献

Recently, the notion of Gorenstein AC-projective (resp., Gorenstein AC-injective) modules was introduced in [3 Bravo, D., Gillespie, J., Hovey, M. The stable module category of a general ring. http://arxiv.org/abs/1405.5768. [Google Scholar]] by which the so-called “Gorenstein AC-homological algebra” was established. Here, we define and study a notion of Gorenstein AC-projective dimension for complexes (not necessarily bounded) over associative rings, which is inspired by Veliche’s construction of defining Gorenstein projective dimension. In particular, we show that such a dimension can be closely related to the “proper” Gorenstein AC-projective resolutions of complexes induced by a complete and hereditary cotorsion pair in the category of complexes of modules. This enables us to interpret this dimension of a complex in terms of vanishing of the derived functor RHomR(?,?). As applications, some characterizations of the Gorenstein AC-projective dimension of a module are also obtained.  相似文献
