A simple and accurate digestion method using nitric acid, perchloric acid and hydrogen peroxide has been developed for use in trace analysis for heavy metals in vegetables by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry. The recovery of the metals from the samples is lower if the hydrogen peroxide is omitted from the digestion mixture. Determination of bioavailable fractions of Zn, Cu, Ni, Pb and Cd in soils and sludges by atomic absorption spectrometry 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The single extraction procedures validated by the standards, measurement and testing programme (formerly BCR), extraction with 0.05 mol l−1 EDTA and 0.43 mol l−1 acetic acid, have been applied to reference materials of soils and sludges with certified total values of elements, in order to determine bioavailable contents of Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn. These soils, which represent uncontaminated pedologically different types of soils from Slovakia and sludges from city water treatment are characterized for the bioavailable fraction of the metals using the procedures followed by SM&T Programme. Concentrations of the elements under the study in the extracts were determined by flame (FAAS) using calibration curves in appropriate extractants and by electrothermal (ETAAS) atomic absorption spectrometry, using technique of standard additions for the evaluation of the results. The accuracy of the extraction procedures and determinations of the elements in the extracts was controlled using CRM 483 certified for EDTA- and acetic acid-extractable contents of Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn in sewage sludge amended soil. 相似文献

Summary A TLC method has been developed for the separation of Zn(II) from Cd(II) and Cu(II) on silica gel alyers with mixed organic solvents containing s-butylamine. The separation of Zn(II) from Cd(II) in the presence of certain anions and at various pH values of sample solution was examined. The dissociation constants for o-carboxyphenylhydrazoethylacetoacetate (o-CPHEA) ligand, as well as the stability constants for the divalent metal complexes of Cu, (II), Ni (II), Co (II), Zn (II)and Cd (II) ions, have been calculated pH-meterically in different solvents. The dissociation constans pK1=4.10 and pK2=10.55 of the insoluble organic ligand are calculated in aqueous medium. The strong cation exchanger Dowex 50W-x4 was used for the enrichment of traces of Cd, Co, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb and Zn in mineral and mine waters as an alternative to the commonly applied procedures based on the application of chelating resins. The resin used was found suitable for complete retention of these metals both from the solutions of very low pH as well as those close to neutral, thus eliminating the need to buffer the samples. An analytical scheme based on filtration and solid phase extraction with Dowex 50W-x4 was proposed for partitioning Cd, Co, Cu, Fe, Ni and Pb in the examined waters. The fraction of metals associated with the suspended particles was determined after filtration through a 0.45 µm pore size filter and decomposition of the deposited matter. For the evaluation of fractions of the labile metal species and the total dissolved metals, the untreated filtrates and the solutions resulting from their digestion, respectively, were passed through Dowex 50W-x4 cation exchange columns. The retrieval of the metals was completed using a 4.0 mol L−1 solution of HCl. The described metal preconcentration and fractionation protocol offered the enrichment factor of 25 with detection limits equal to 22, 30, 92, 41, 70, 36 and 340 ng L−1, respectively for Cd, Co, Cu, Fe, Ni and Pb. Transport rate of metal cations can be explained by the size of substituents, namely larger substituents such as 7 and 8 prefer Pb(II) cations. The bis-PNP-lariat ethers remove Zn(II), Cd(II) and Pb(II) more efficiently than simple PNP-lariat ethers. The increase of linker length in the bis-PNP-lariat ether molecules lowers the metal cations’ transport rate. In addition, the synergetic effect for lead(II) transport across polymer inclusion membrane (PIM) with PNP-lariat ether 9 and DNNS was using PNP-lariat ethers—carriers 1 and 2 in a PIM system, Zn(II) and Cd(II) were transported with low selectivity from acidic aqueous source phase solutions. The ether 3 used to transport Zn(II) and Cd(II) cations from aqueous phase at pH 5.0 into hydrochloric aqueous solution shows high selectivity of Cd/Zn, but small efficiency of process. 相似文献
