A potential precursor of enprostil, (±)-9-acetoxy-11,15-di-O-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)-2-decarboxy-6-hydroxy-16-phenoxy-2-triphenylmethyloxymethyl-4,4,5,5-tetradehydro-17,18,19,20-tetranorprostaglandin F1α, was synthesized. Acetylation of 8-Bromo-5-hydroxy-6,7,4′-trimethoxyflavone

5-Hydroxy-6,7,4′-trimethoxyflavone was isolated from Centaurea pseudomaculosa Dobrocz., and its bromo derivative was obtained. Precision Dilatometry of Microemulsions with Anionic Surfactants

Density ρ, isothermal compressibility β_Т, and thermal expansion coefficient α are measured with high accuracy at 15 and 25°C for water-n-octane-sodium dodecyl sulfate-n-pentanol microemulsions with a water/oil weight ratio varying from 0.05 to 4. The internal pressure of the microemulsions is shown to be calculable from the results of dilatometric measurements. The phenomenon of temperature inversion is revealed for the temperature coefficient of internal pressure ΔP _i/ΔT of the microemulsions.
