大气湍流引起大气折射率随机变化,导致空间不均匀性.拉盖高斯光束在大气湍流中传输时,空间不均匀性会使光子波函数改变,引起轨道角动量的变化.本文讨论了拉盖尔高斯光束在大气斜程传输时,湍流介质改变光子轨道角动量而形成不同的光子态.计算了螺旋谐波各分量所占光束总能量的权重,分析了拉盖高斯光束的轨道角动量的变化规律.  相似文献

Based on the paraxial approximation of the beams propagation in communication system, the square approximation of the wave structure function, the Zernike polynomial expansion of the non-Kolmogorov atmospheric turbulence-aberration and the assumption of the signal photon propagation in slant Zernike tilt corrected turbulence-channel, we analyze the effect of the multi-beam on entangled orbital angular momentum states. The joint detection probability of orbital angular momentum state entangled photons is modeled. Our work shows that the correction of the Zernike tilt aberration by adaptive optics is a method to improve the joint detection probability of orbital angular momentum state entangled photons. The crosstalk probability of the entangled orbital angular momentum states decreases as increasing of the degree of the spatial coherence of the partially coherent source and the beamlet number of the multil-Laguerre Gaussian Schell model beams.  相似文献

The entangled orbital angular momentum(OAM) three photons propagating in Kolmogorov weak turbulence are investigated. Here, the single phase screen model is used to study the entanglement evolution of OAM photons. The results indicate that the entangled OAM three-qubit state with higher OAM modes will be more robust against turbulence.Furthermore, it is found that the entangled OAM three-qubit state has a higher overall transmission for small OAM values.  相似文献

Quantum algorithms provide a more efficient way to solve computational tasks than classical algorithms. We experimentally realize quantum permutation algorithm using light's orbital angular momentum degree of freedom. By exploiting the spatial mode of photons, our scheme provides a more elegant way to understand the principle of quantum permutation algorithm and shows that the high dimension characteristic of light's orbital angular momentum may be useful in quantum algorithms. Our scheme can be extended to higher dimension by introducing more spatial modes and it paves the way to trace the source of quantum speedup.  相似文献

 真空磁绝缘传输线建立磁绝缘状态的初始阶段,损失电子轰击阳极,发生轫致辐射。针对自限制流同轴圆筒模型,通过粒子模拟获得了损失前沿在能量传输方向的推进速度、电子到达阳极时的能谱和角分布情况,在此基础上采用蒙特卡罗方法模拟得到了轫致辐射所产生的X射线能谱。数值计算结果表明:电磁波损失前沿在能量传输方向的推进速度小于光速;损失前沿电子密度稳定。在自限制流磁绝缘传输线中,损失电子处在较宽的能量范围内,其电子偏移角度较小。建立了对应于同轴圆筒真空磁绝缘传输线的电子/光子输运模型,获得了损失电子轰击阳极产生的X射线能谱。  相似文献

We introduce Bell-type inequalities allowing for nonlocality and entanglement tests with two cold heteronuclear molecules. The proposed inequalities are based on correlations between each molecule spatial orientation, an observable which can be experimentally measured with present day technology. Orientation measurements are performed on each subsystem at different times. These times play the role of the polarizer angles in Bell tests realized with photons. We discuss the experimental implementations of the proposed tests, which could also be adapted to other high dimensional quantum angular momenta systems.  相似文献

为了分析锥形光纤中光子流的传输特性和空间分布特性,采用了蒙特卡罗算法对其进行了模拟仿真,得到了大量光子经过锥形光纤后的光子分布图.模拟实验结果表明,通过锥形光纤的大量光子集中在探测器中心,到达探测器某一位置的光子数随着该位置到探测器中心距离的增加而减少,并且在锥形光纤锥度比一定的条件下,改变锥形光纤长度,光强度随着长度的增加而下降,但通过锥形光纤的光子分布是一样的.这些研究结果对锥形光纤的设计和实际应用提供了重要依据.  相似文献

The effects of multibeams and partially coherent source on the orbital angular momentum transmission of multi-Gaussian Schell model beams in an atmospheric turbulence channel are analyzed. An effective crosstalk probability model of the orbital angular momentum is derived which leads to crosstalk probability function for eigenmodes of different orbital angular momentum states and beamlets. The work shows that the evolution of the effective spatial coherence radius with growing the rms width of the correlation of the partially coherent source and the number of the beamlet in multi-Gaussian model beams. The crosstalk probability of the orbital angular momentum of an effective Gaussian-Schell model beam decreases as increasing of the degree of the spatial coherence of the partially coherent source and the beamlet number of the multi-Gaussian Schell model beams.  相似文献

We elucidate the paraxial orbital angular momentum of entangled photon pairs generated by spontaneous parametric downconversion in different noncollinear geometries in which the entangled photons counterpropagate. We find, in particular, the orbital angular momentum of entangled pairs generated in transverse-emitting configurations, in which none of the known rules for selecting orbital angular momentum holds.  相似文献

焦斑大小是评价加速器性能的关键指标之一,减小焦斑尺寸可以有效提高闪光照相中对客体成像的空间分辨能力。本文研究设计空间限束结构,减小加速器光源焦斑的有效尺寸降低成像几何模糊。采用蒙特卡罗方法对电子束打靶产生轫致辐射和光子穿过空间限束结构的成像过程进行模拟,分析采用不同空间限束结构时光源有效焦斑的分布及大小、光子角度分布和能谱分布等特征参数。理论计算结果表明,通过空间限束可以使强流加速器光源焦斑FWHM减小至亚毫米量级。  相似文献

光子轨道角动量量子态具有高维和光学涡旋特性, 在经典和量子领域展示出了巨大的应用潜力, 目前对其的研究已成为物理学的一个热点. 本实验研究了利用Sagnac干涉仪干涉的方法将具有不同轨道角动量的光束无破坏地分离到不同的路径, 即实现光子轨道角动量分束器. 实验中利用此分束器验证了对几种不同轨道角动量态(包含叠加态)的分离, 得到了与理论预期相符的实验结果. 这种对轨道角动量态的区分的方法相比已有的其他区分方法具有较好的稳定性, 而且可用于区分叠加态, 也可以达到单光子水平, 最重要的是实现了不同的轨道角动量本征态无破坏的与路径比特耦合. 这种新方法对高密度通信、量子纠缠、量子保密通信、量子计算与量子信息等方面有着重要的意义.  相似文献

The structure of the barrel calorimeter of the CMD-3 detector is presented in this work. The procedure of energy calibration of the calorimeter and the method of photon energy restoration are described. The distinctive feature of this barrel calorimeter is its combined structure; it is composed of two coaxial subsystems: a liquid xenon calorimeter and a crystalline CsI calorimeter. The calorimeter spatial resolution of the photon conversion point is about 2 mm, which corresponds to an angular resolution of ~6 mrad. The energy resolution of the calorimeter is about 8% for photons with energy of 200 MeV and 4% for photons with energy of 1 GeV.  相似文献

We demonstrate that the conversion of spin-to-orbital angular momentum in a focused vectorial light beam can be forbidden or enhanced by the electric-field-erased or increased spatial anisotropy of a uniaxial crystal undergoing the Pockels effect. A focused right-handed circularly polarized quasi-Gaussian beam incident on an electro-optic crystal strontium barium niobate is taken to illustrate the effect, and a conversion-forbidden electric field E(0)=-16.87 kV/cm is found. Of special interest is that single photons generated in this effect exhibit an entanglement of 2 deg of freedom of spin and orbital angular momentum, and it is electro-optically controllable.  相似文献

在环形凹槽包围环形金属纳米孔的异常透射器件的研究中,环形凹槽可以将携带光子角动量的入射光转化为涡旋表面等离极化激元,这些涡旋表面等离极化激元传向几何中心并与直接照射在环形纳米孔上的光子发生干涉,当相互干涉的光子满足相位匹配条件时,环形纳米孔的透射率得到显著增强.本文利用理论分析和数值计算的方法研究了光子角动量和凹槽半径对环形纳米孔透射过程的影响.我们发现调节环形凹槽的半径和入射光携带的光子角动量可以调节光子在金膜上表面传输时的径向传播相位,进而影响了环形纳米孔附近的干涉电场强度,最终决定了环形纳米孔的透射率,进而可以通过调节凹槽的半径来调节携带不同光子角动量的光束在环形纳米孔的透射率.本文的研究结果对基于涡旋表面等离极化激元的异常透射器件的设计具有重要的指导意义.  相似文献

We model the detection and crosstalk probability of orbital angular momentum (OAM) states of the entangled signal photon in the Kolmogorov channels of the low-order turbulence aberrations and by the Rytov approximation. The results show that lower OAM mode number of signal photons and larger sub-beam number of multi-Gaussian Schell-model pump beam, the less susceptible of the detection probability of the signal photon to spatial coherence of source and turbulence aberrations is achieved. The maximum crosstalk probability is decrease as the decreasing of the sub-beam number of multi-Gaussian Schell-model. Enlarging OAM difference value or decreasing sub-beam number of multi-Gaussian Schell-model pump beam results in a lower crosstalk probability of the OAM of entangled signal photons.  相似文献

We present a proof of principle demonstration of a quantum key distribution scheme in higher-order -dimensional alphabets using spatial degrees of freedom of photons. Our implementation allows for the transmission of 4.56 bits per sifted photon, while providing improved security: an intercept-resend attack on all photons would induce an average error rate of 0.47. Using our system, it should be possible to send more than a byte of information per sifted photon.  相似文献

We present a theoretical study of fractional quantum Hall physics in a rotating gas of strongly interacting photons in a single cavity with a large optical nonlinearity. Photons are injected into the cavity by a Laguerre–Gauss laser beam with a non-zero orbital angular momentum. The Laughlin-like few-photon eigenstates appear as sharp resonances in the transmission spectra. Using additional localized repulsive potentials, quasi-holes can be created in the photon gas and then braided around in space: an unambiguous signature of the many-body Berry phase under exchange of two quasi-holes is observed as a spectral shift of the corresponding transmission resonance.  相似文献

Angular correlations of the annihilation photons, Compton scattered by plastic scintillators and detected by means of NaI (T1) crystals, have been measured in order to test the possibility of deviations of the experimental results from the predictions of the quantum theory. In fact, Jauch and Bohm, starting with different motivations, both arrive at the possibility of a lower correlation ratio between the two orthogonal polarization states of the two photons than predicted by quantum theory. This in turn should give a lower azimuthal anisotropy in the angular correlations. Our experimental results compared with the theoretical predictions, after correction for finite geometry by means of a Montecarlo method, do not confirm quantum theory and exclude the hypotheses of Jauch and of Bohm. We are continuing the experiment in order to test wether the breakdown in the polarization correlation depends on the distance (spatial and/or temporal) between the two correlated scattering events, as suggested by Jauch. The angular distribution of the second harmonic generation (SHG) in disordered nonlinear media is shown to exhibit sharp peaks due to the weak localization of photons. The shape of these peaks is related to the spatial structure of the electric field for strongly scattered second harmonic (SH) radiation and is sensitive to the Anderson localization effects. The angular distribution of the second harmonic energy flux is calculated for the case of steady state and pulse generation in a slab of thickness dl (l is the elastic mean free path).
