In a previous work [1] matter models such that the energy density ρ ≥ 0, and the radial- and tangential pressures p ≥ 0 and q, satisfy p + q ≤ Ωρ, Ω ≥ 1, were considered in the context of Buchdahl’s inequality. It was proved that static shell solutions of the spherically symmetric Einstein equations obey a Buchdahl type inequality whenever the support of the shell, [R 0, R 1], R 0 > 0, satisfies R 1/R 0 < 1/4. Moreover, given a sequence of solutions such that R 1/R 0 → 1, then the limit supremum of 2M/R 1 was shown to be bounded by ((2Ω + 1)2 − 1)/(2Ω + 1)2. In this paper we show that the hypothesis that R 1/R 0 → 1, can be realized for Vlasov matter, by constructing a sequence of static shells of the spherically symmetric Einstein-Vlasov system with this property. We also prove that for this sequence not only the limit supremum of 2M/R 1 is bounded, but that the limit is ((2Ω + 1)2 − 1)/(2Ω + 1)2 = 8/9, since Ω = 1 for Vlasov matter. Thus, static shells of Vlasov matter can have 2M/R 1 arbitrary close to 8/9, which is interesting in view of [3], where numerical evidence is presented that 8/9 is an upper bound of 2M/R 1 of any static solution of the spherically symmetric Einstein-Vlasov system.  相似文献

In the framework of the spectral integral equation, we consider the states and their radiative transitions. We reconstruct the interaction on the basis of data for the levels of the bottomonium states with J PC = 0−+, 1−−, 0++, 1++, 2++ as well as the data for the radiative transitions γ (3S) → γχbJ(2P) and γ(2S) → γχbJ(1P) with J = 0, 1, 2. We calculate bottomonium levels with the radial quantum numbers n ≤ 6, their wave functions, and corresponding radiative transitions. The ratios Br[χbJ(2P) → γγ(2S)]/Br[χbJ(2P) → γγ(1S)] for J = 0, 1, 2 are found to be in agreement with data. We determine the component of the photon wave function using the data for the e + e annihilation, e + e → γ(9460), γ(10 023), γ(10 036), γ(10 580), γ(10 865), γ(11 019), and predict partial widths of the two-photon decays ηb0 → γγ, χb0 → γγ, χb2 → γγ for the radial excitation states below the threshold (n ≤ 3). We consider the maximum solution g(t), t ∈ [0,  + ∞), to the normalized Ricci flow. Among other things, we prove that, if (M, ω) is a smooth compact symplectic 4-manifold such that and let g(t), t ∈ [0, ∞), be a solution to (1.3) on M whose Ricci curvature satisfies that |Ric(g(t))| ≤ 3 and additionally χ(M) = 3τ (M) > 0, then there exists an , and a sequence of points {x j,k M}, j = 1, . . . , m, satisfying that, by passing to a subsequence,
t ∈ [0, ∞), in the m-pointed Gromov-Hausdorff sense for any sequence t k → ∞, where (N j , g ), j = 1, . . . , m, are complete complex hyperbolic orbifolds of complex dimension 2 with at most finitely many isolated orbifold points. Moreover, the convergence is C in the non-singular part of and , where χ(M) (resp. τ(M)) is the Euler characteristic (resp. signature) of M. Application of recently developed non-Archimedean algebra to a flat and finite universe of total mass M 0 and radius R 0 is described. In this universe, mass m of a body and distance R between two points are bounded from above, i.e., 0mM 0, 0RR 0. The universe is characterized by an event horizon at R 0 (there is nothing beyond it, not even space). The radial distance metric is compressed toward horizon, which is shown to cause the phenomenon of red shift. The corresponding modified Minkowski's metric and Lorentz transforms are obtained. Applications to Newtonian gravity shows a weakening at large scales (RR 0) and a regular behavior as R0.  相似文献

For the kernel of the Laplace operator ΔΛ with potential Σ j=1 k c j δ q j (x) on a manifold, (the operator is given by a Lagrangian plane Λ ⊂ ℂ k ⊕ ℂ k ), an isomorphism Γ: ker ΔΛ → Λ ∩ L is described, where L is a special Lagrangian plane (whose explicit form is evaluated). A similar assertion holds for the Laplace operator on a decorated graph; for such a graph (obtained by decorating a connected finite graph with n edges and v vertices) with “continuity” conditions, the inequality 1 ≤ dimker ≤ nv + 2 is obtained. It is also proved that the quantity nv + 1-dim ker cannot reduce when adding new edges and manifolds. The first terms of the expansion of Tr(exp(-tH Λ)) are found. Dedicated to the memory of V. A. We present new interior regularity criteria for suitable weak solutions of the 3-D Navier-Stokes equations: a suitable weak solution is regular near an interior point z if either the scaled -norm of the velocity with 3/p + 2/q ≤ 2, 1 ≤ q ≤ ∞, or the -norm of the vorticity with 3/p + 2/q ≤ 3, 1 ≤ q < ∞, or the -norm of the gradient of the vorticity with 3/p + 2/q ≤ 4, 1 ≤ q, 1 ≤ p, is sufficiently small near z.  相似文献

The reaction γγ → π+π-π0 with quasi-real photons is studied with a total integrated luminosity of 663pb^-1, collected by the L3 detector at LEP at center-of-mass energies from 183 to 209GeV. The results of an energy-dependent partial wave analysis in the mass region 1.1≤M+π-π0)≤2.2GeV are presented. The reaction is dominated by a2(1320) formation. A strong signal consistent with the first radial excitation of the isovector tensor state, a2(1700), is present and confirms the previous L3 observation. Its two-photon partial width is found to be Br(3π) = 0.37+0.12-0.08keV, the relative branching ratio of ρ(770)π to f2(1270)π is 3.4±0.4. For all observed states the product of γγ partial width and 3π branching ratios is measured.  相似文献

The overlap between the ground-state wave functions of a one-dimensional electron gas with the Hamiltonians Ĥ 0 and , where is the impurity potential, is calculated. It is shown that in the limit of an infinite potential the overlap vanishes as M −1/8 as M→∞, where M is the number of filled levels, while in the case of a weak potential this overlap differs little from 1. A relation is found between the magnitude of the overlap and the behavior of the density of states near the Fermi energy (statistics of the levels). The possibility of linearization of the spectrum and the possibility of performing a bosonization procedure are discussed in light of the results obtained. Pis'ma Zh. éksp. Teor. The principal graph X of a subfactor with finite Jones index is one of the important algebraic invariants of the subfactor. If Δ is the adjacency matrix of X we consider the equation Δ = U + U −1. When X has square norm ≤ 4 the spectral measure of U can be averaged by using the map uu −1, and we get a probability measure on the unit circle which does not depend on U. We find explicit formulae for this measure for the principal graphs of subfactors with index ≤ 4, the (extended) Coxeter-Dynkin graphs of type A, D and E. We establish two-sided estimates for the fundamental frequency (the lowest eigenvalue) of the Laplacian in an open set with the Dirichlet boundary condition. This is done in terms of the interior capacitary radius of Ω which is defined as the maximal possible radius of a ball B with a negligible intersection with the complement of Ω. Here negligibility of means that cap(F)≤ γ cap (B), where cap a means the Wiener (harmonic) capacity and is arbitrarily fixed with the sole restriction . We provide explicit values of constants in the two-sided estimates.  相似文献

An estimation of the mass difference of system with heavy quark symmetry formalism is presented. The effective Hamiltonian describing the transition (whereh=b forB d 0 -system) is considered in a manifest left right symmetric (MLRS) model along with contribution from neutral Higgs boson. We use the spin and flavor symmetry for heavy quarks to obtain the transition matrix element 〈B d 0 |ℋeff(x)| d 0 〉 in terms of Isgur-Wise function. Assuming thatB d 0 and states are at rest, we find that Isgur-Wise function turns out to be unity. However using the experimental values of ΔM K and as input, we find thatM R=835 GeV andM H⩾2·9 TeV.  相似文献

A dynamics of low-energy nuclear forces is investigated for low-energy electromagnetic and weak nuclear reactions with the deuteron in the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model of light nuclei by example of the neutron-proton radiative capture (M1-capture) n + p → D + γ, the photomagnetic disintegration of the deuteron γ + D → n + p and weak reactions of astrophysical interest. These are the solar proton burning p + p → D + e+ + ν e, the pep-process p + e + p → D + ν e and the neutrino and antineutrino disintegration of the deuteron caused by charged ν e + D → e + p + p, + D → e+ + n + n and neutral ν e() + D → ν e() + n + p weak currents.  相似文献

We discuss a possible interpretation of the f 0(980)-meson as a hadronic molecule —a bound state of K and mesons. Using a phenomenological Lagrangian approach we calculate the strong f 0(980) → ππ and electromagnetic f 0(980) → γγ decays. The compositeness condition provides a self-consistent method to determine the coupling constant between f 0 and its constituents, K and . Form factors governing the decays of the f 0(980) are calculated by evaluating the kaon loop integrals. The predicted f 0(980) → ππ and f 0(980) → γγ decay widths are in good agreement with available data and results of other theoretical approaches.  相似文献

Let λ i (Ω,V) be the i th eigenvalue of the Schrödinger operator with Dirichlet boundary conditions on a bounded domain $\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^nLet λ i (Ω,V) be the i th eigenvalue of the Schr?dinger operator with Dirichlet boundary conditions on a bounded domain and with the positive potential V. Following the spirit of the Payne-Pólya-Weinberger conjecture and under some convexity assumptions on the spherically rearranged potential V *, we prove that λ2(Ω,V) ≤ λ2(S 1,V *). Here S 1 denotes the ball, centered at the origin, that satisfies the condition λ1(Ω,V)=λ1(S 1,V *).Further we prove under the same convexity assumptions on a spherically symmetric potential V, that λ2(B R , V) / λ1(B R , V) decreases when the radius R of the ball B R increases.We conclude with several results about the first two eigenvalues of the Laplace operator with respect to a measure of Gaussian or inverted Gaussian density.R.B. was supported by FONDECYT project # 102-0844.H.L. gratefully acknowledges financial support from DIPUC of the Pontifí cia Universidad Católica de Chile and from CONICYT.  相似文献

where J:ℤ d →ℝ is any summable non-negative symmetric function (J(x)≥0 for all x∈ℤ d , ∑ x J(x)<∞ and J(x)=J(−x)). We prove that there is a unique Gibbs measure on Ω associated to H. The result is a consequence of the fact that the corresponding Gibbs sampler is attractive and has a unique invariant measure.  相似文献

In the framework of factorization we study direct CP violation in the decays of bottom hadrons containing a strange quark or a charm quark, H b f ρ 0(ω)→f π + π (H b is the bottom hadron and f is the product hadron) including the effect of ρω mixing. We find that the CP violating asymmetry can be enhanced greatly via the ρω mixing mechanism when the invariant mass of the π + π pair is in the vicinity of the ω resonance. For the processes associated with bd transitions, e.g. , , B c D π + π , B c D *− π + π , Ξ b 0Λ π + π , and Ω b Ξ π + π , the maximum CP violating asymmetries can reach about −84%, while for the processes associated with bs transitions, e.g. , , B c D s π + π , B c D s *− π + π , Ξ b Ξ π + π , and Ω b Ω π + π , the CP violating asymmetries can be enhanced to about 95%. Furthermore, taking ρω mixing into account we calculate the b-hadron decay branching ratios. We also discuss the possibility to observe the predicted CP violating asymmetries at the LHC.  相似文献

Dirac’s large number hypothesis (LNH), in the formG/G 0=HH 0 −1 , is applied to the matter-dominated cosmological era, using the framework of the scale covariant theory (Canuto et al., 1977). We obtain explicit expressions forR andβ a as functions ofR E , whereR andR E are the scale factors of the cosmological Robertson-Walker metric, expressed in atomic and gravitational units, respectively, andβ a is the ratio between the rates of gravitational and atomic clocks. The parameters in these expressions are , the deceleration parameter in gravitational units, and (t 0)H 0 −1 where (t 0) is the present epoch value of the derivative ofβ a with respect to atomic time. We find that a necessary condition for the LNH to be compatible with a Robertson-Walker model is that (t 0)H 0 −12 1 . The only experimental values for (t 0) available at present are those based on the lengthening of the Moon’s period of revolution around the Earth, suggesting 0.86≥ (t 0)H 0 −1 ≥0.21; the more promising technique of radar ranging to the inner planets has not yet produced a value for (t 0). Using the lunar data, it follows that 0≤ ≲0.42 corresponding to an open universe (k=−1). Closed models (k=1, >1/2) are not compatible with the LNH since the required values of (t 0)H 0 −1 are more than an order of magnitude above the observational upper limit. We show that the connection responsible for any Abelian or non-Abelian Aharonov–Bohm effect with n parallel “magnetic” flux lines in ℝ3, lies in a trivial G-principal bundle PM, i.e. P is isomorphic to the product M×G, where G is any path connected topological group; in particular a connected Lie group. We also show that two other bundles are involved: the universal covering space , where path integrals are computed, and the associated bundle P× G m M, where the wave function and its covariant derivative are sections.  相似文献

The elliptic flow v2 and the fourth order anisotropic flow v4 of (Ω+Ω̄) have been studied in the framework a parton–hadronic transport model, namely a multi-phase transport (AMPT) model, for 197Au+197Au collisions at = 200 GeV and 62.4 GeV. The transverse momentum (pT) and the transverse kinetic energy (mT-m0) dependence of v2 and v4 are presented. The calculation in the AMPT model seems consistent with the STAR data. The results show that the v2 of (Ω+Ω̄) in 200 GeV obeys the constituent quark number scaling that has been observed for other mesons and baryons. Comparison of (Ω+Ω̄) elliptic flow v2 in the default version of AMPT, the melting version of AMPT and the RQMD model calculation, shows that the parton cascade process is important to reproduce the sizeable v2, and the string melting AMPT model preferably reproduces (Ω+Ω̄) elliptic flow v2 in 197Au+197Au collisions at = 200 GeV. The v2 of (Ω+Ω̄) in the 62.4 and 200 GeV collisions seem similar, and the pT dependence of (Ω+Ω̄) baryons’ v4 in 62.4 GeV and 200 GeV looks also similar in the string melting AMPT model, which indicates that a similar partonic matter phase has been reached in both energies.  相似文献
