We investigate autotopisms and isotopisms of generalized twisted field planes. A revision of Alberts results is developed using a mixture of group-theoretical and algebraic methods. In particular, transitivity conditions of the autotopism group on the nonvertex points of one or more sides of the autotopism triangle are determined. Also, correlations and polarities in generalized twisted field planes are examined in detail. These results allow us to obtain several improvements of recent results in semifield planes.  相似文献

A class of the associative and Lie algebras A[D] = A F[D] of Weyl type are studied, where A is a commutative associative algebra with an identity element over a field F of characteristic zero, and F[D] is the polynomial algebra of a finite dimensional commutative subalgebra of locally finite derivations of A such that A is D-simple. The derivations of these associative and Lie algebras are precisely determined.  相似文献

Generalized polyhedral convex sets, generalized polyhedral convex functions on locally convex Hausdorff topological vector spaces, and the related constructions such as sum of sets, sum of functions, directional derivative, infimal convolution, normal cone, conjugate function, subdifferential are studied thoroughly in this paper. Among other things, we show how a generalized polyhedral convex set can be characterized through the finiteness of the number of its faces. In addition, it is proved that the infimal convolution of a generalized polyhedral convex function and a polyhedral convex function is a polyhedral convex function. The obtained results can be applied to scalar optimization problems described by generalized polyhedral convex sets and generalized polyhedral convex functions.  相似文献

We define a new kind quantized enveloping algebra of a generalized Kac-Moody algebra by adding a new generator J satisfying jm = j for some integer m. We denote this algebra by wUqT(A). This algebra is a weak Hopf algebra if and only if m = 2,3. In general, it is a bialgebra, and contains a Hopf subalgebra. This Hopf subalgebra is isomorphic to the usual quantum envelope algebra Uq (A) of a generalized Kac-Moody algebra A.  相似文献

For a cyclic group A and a connected Lie group G with an A-module structure (with the additional assumptions that G is compact and the A-module structure on G is 1-semisimple if ), we define the twisted Weyl group W = W(G,A,T), which acts on T and H 1(A,T), where T is a maximal compact torus of , the identity component of the group of invariants G A . We then prove that the natural map is a bijection, reducing the calculation of H 1(A,G) to the calculation of the action of W on T. We also prove some properties of the twisted Weyl group W, one of which is that W is a finite group. A new proof of a known result concerning the ranks of groups of invariants with respect to automorphisms of a compact Lie group is also given.   相似文献

Suppose that O_n(2 ≤ n ≤∞) is a Cuntz algebra. There exists a number 1 ≤ k(π, Ω) ≤∞such that if the cyclic representations(H, π, Ω) and(H, π, Ω) of the Cuntz algebra O_n are unitary equivalent, k(π, Ω) = k(π, Ω). Applying the number, one can define a minimal representation of O_n and give a sufficient condition of the minimality for a representation of O_n. Moreover, the relations between minimal states and minimal representations of Cuntz algebras and the relations between the minimality and the irreducibility of the representation of O_n are investigated, respectively.  相似文献

A generalization of down-up algebras was introduced by Cassidy and Shelton (2004 Cassidy , T. , Shelton , B. ( 2004 ). Basic properties of generalized down-up algebras . J. Algebra 279 ( 1 ): 402421 .[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]), the so-called “generalized down-up algebras”. We describe the automorphism group of conformal Noetherian generalized down-up algebras L(f, r, s, γ) such that r is not a root of unity, listing explicitly the elements of the group. In the last section, we apply these results to Noetherian down-up algebras, thus obtaining a characterization of the automorphism group of Noetherian down-up algebras A(α, β, γ) for which the roots of the polynomial X 2 ? α X ? β are not both roots of unity.  相似文献

Yetter-Drinfel'd modules of diagonal type admit an equivalence relation which preserves dimension and Gel'fand-Kirillov dimension of the corresponding Nichols algebras. This relation is determined explicity for all rank 2 Yetter-Drinfel'd modules where the Gel'fand-Kirillov dimension is known to be finite. To describe the representation theory of the quantum Weyl algebra at an lth primitive root γ of unity, Boyette, Leyk, Plunkett, Sipe, and Talley found all nonsingular irreducible matrix solutions to the equation yx ? γxy = 1, assuming yx ≠ xy.
