In this paper, we study the L1 stability of a one-dimensional Boltzmann equation on the line with inelastic collisions in Rend. Sem. Mat. Fis. Milano 67 (1997) 169-179. Under the suitable assumptions on the initial data, we construct a nonlinear functional which measures L1 distance between two mild solutions, and is nonincreasing in time t. Using the time-decay estimate of , we show that mild solutions are L1-stable:

In this note, we comment on D-spaces, linearly D-spaces and transitively D-spaces. We show that every meta-Lindelöf space is transitively D. If X is a weak -refinable TD-scattered space, then X is transitively D, where TD is the class of all transitively D-spaces. If X is a weak -refinable -scattered space, then X is a D-space, where is the class of all D-spaces, and hence every weak -refinable (or submetacompact) scattered space is a D-space. This gives a positive answer to a question mentioned by Martínez and Soukup. In the last part of this note, we show that if X is a weak -refinable space then X is linearly D. 相似文献

We show that metrizability and bounded tightness are actually equivalent for a large class of locally convex spaces including (LF)-spaces, (DF)-spaces, the space of distributions D′(Ω), etc. A consequence of this fact is that for the bounded tightness for the weak topology of X is equivalent to the following one: X is linearly homeomorphic to a subspace of . Let s∈R, τ∈[0,∞), p∈(1,∞) and q∈(1,∞]. In this paper, we introduce a new class of function spaces which unify and generalize the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces with both p∈(1,∞) and p=∞ and Q spaces. By establishing the Carleson measure characterization of Q space, we then determine the relationship between Triebel-Lizorkin spaces and Q spaces, which answers a question posed by Dafni and Xiao in [G. Dafni, J. Xiao, Some new tent spaces and duality theorem for fractional Carleson measures and Qα(Rn), J. Funct. Anal. 208 (2004) 377-422]. Moreover, via the Hausdorff capacity, we introduce a new class of tent spaces and determine their dual spaces , where s∈R, p,q∈[1,∞), max{p,q}>1, , and t′ denotes the conjugate index of t∈(1,∞); as an application of this, we further introduce certain Hardy-Hausdorff spaces and prove that the dual space of is just when p,q∈(1,∞). 相似文献
