We obtain a chain of quantum kinetic reaction-diffusion-type equations for “adsorbate-substrate” system taking into account the coupling of a light particle with a metallic surface, the adsorbate surface diffusion by the tunnelling mechanism and the occurrence of bimolecular chemical reactions. We calculate the temperature dependence of the kinetic kernels related to the diffusion coefficients and the reaction rates. It is shown that one can alter the temperature dependence of the reaction rates by changing the “adsorbate-substrate” coupling. It is also shown that the mean field terms contribute to the activation energies of the reaction rates, while their contribution to the activation energies of the diffusion coefficients vanishes. 相似文献

We have investigated the S-wave shape resonance states of the positronium negative ion (Ps?) system. The resonance poles are traced from H? system to Ps? by systematically varying the mass of the positively charged particle from infinitely heavy to one unit of the electron mass. The shape resonances that associated with and lying above the Ps(N = 2, 3, 4 and 5) thresholds are located by employing the complex-coordinate rotation method with highly correlated Hylleraas-type wave functions. It has been shown that the Ps?(N = 3) shape resonance lies at an energy which is higher than the Ps(N = 4) thresholds and even the Ps?(N = 4) shape resonance. An explanation was given to shed light on such phenomena. 相似文献

Phase cancellation effects can compromise the integrity of ultrasonic measurements performed with phase sensitive receiving apertures. A lack of spatial coherence of the ultrasonic field incident on a phase sensitive receiving array can produce inaccuracies of the measured attenuation coefficient and phase velocity. The causal (Kramers-Kronig) link between these two quantities in the presence of phase distortion is investigated using two plastic polymer materials, Plexiglas and Lexan, that exhibit attenuation coefficients that increase linearly with frequency, in a fashion analogous to that of soft tissue. Flat and parallel plates were machined to have a step of a thickness corresponding to an integer number of half wavelengths within the bandwidth investigated, 3 to 7 MHz. Insonification of the stepped portion of each plate produces phase cancellation artifacts at the receiving aperture and, therefore, in the measured frequency dependent attenuation coefficient. Dispersion predictions using two different forms of the Kramers-Kronig relations were performed for the flat and the stepped regions of each plastic plate. Despite significant phase distortion and a detection system sensitive to these aberrations, the Kramers-Kronig link between the apparent attenuation coefficient and apparent phase velocity dispersion remains intact. 相似文献

A study was made of the charged state on a natural or an oxidized germanium surface during heat-and-field treatment. This study dealt with the kinetics of charging and discharging of superslow surface states. The thermal activation energy of these charging and discharging processes has also been evaluated. Ultrasonic emulsification (USE) assisted by cavitation is an effective method to produce emulsion droplets. However, the role of gas bubbles in the USE process still remains unclear. Hence, in the present paper, high-speed camera observations of bubble evolution and emulsion droplets formation in oil and water were used to capture in real-time the emulsification process, while experiments with different gas concentrations were carried out to investigate the effect of gas bubbles on droplet size. The results show that at the interface of oil and water, gas bubbles with a radius larger than the resonance radius collapse and sink into the water phase, inducing (oil–water) blended liquid jets across bubbles to generate oil-in-water-in-oil (O/W/O) and water-in-oil (W/O) droplets in the oil phase and oil-in-water (O/W) droplets in the water phase, respectively. Gas bubbles with a radius smaller than the resonance radius at the interface always move towards the oil phase, accompanied with the generation of water droplets in the oil phase. In the oil phase, gas bubbles, which can attract bubbles nearby the interface, migrate to the interface of oil and water due to acoustic streaming, and generate numerous droplets. As for the gas bubbles in the water phase, those can break neighboring droplets into numerous finer ones during bubble oscillation. With the increase in gas content, more bubbles undergo chaotic oscillation, leading to smaller and more stable emulsion droplets, which explains the beneficial role of gas bubbles in USE. Violently oscillating microbubbles are, therefore, found to be the governing cavitation regime for emulsification process. These results provide new insights to the mechanisms of gas bubbles in oil–water emulsions, which may be useful towards the optimization of USE process in industry. 相似文献

The scaling of the flowfield in a gas--gas combustion
chamber is investigated theoretically, numerically and
experimentally. To obtain the scaling criterion of the gas--gas
combustion flowfield, formulation analysis of the three-dimensional
(3D) Navier--Stokes equations for a gaseous multi-component mixing
reaction flow is conducted and dimensional analysis on the gas--gas
combustion phenomena is also carried out. The criterion implies that
the size and the pressure of the gas--gas combustion chamber can be
changed. Based on the criterion, multi-element injector chambers
with different geometric sizes and at different chamber pressures
ranging from 3~MPa to 20~MPa are numerically simulated. A
multi-element injector chamber is designed and hot-fire tested at
five chamber pressures from 1.64~MPa to 3.68~MPa. Wall temperature
measurements are used to understand the similarity of combustion
flowfields in the tests. The results have verified the similarities
between combustion flowfields under different chamber pressures and
geometries, with the criterion applied. 相似文献

We have investigated the evolution of the atomic quantum entropy and the entanglement of atom-photon in the system with competing k-photon and l-photon transitions by means of fully quantum theory, and examined the effects of competing photon numbers (k and l), the relative coupling strength between the atom and the two-mode field (A/g), and the initial photon number of the field on the atomic quantum entropy and the entanglement of atom-photon. The results show that the multiphoton competing transitions or the large relative coupling strength can lead to the strong entanglement between atoms and photons. The maximal atom-photon entanglement can be prepared via the appropriate selection of system parameters and interaction time. 相似文献

Two silicate glasses which have different acoustic properties and different thickness, were taken as the specimens, their frequency dependences of the longitudinal attenuation coefficients were measured in the frequency range of 50 to 300 MHz by the pulse reflection method, and the diffraction loss included in the measurement was corrected by theoretical calculation using A. O. Williams' expression. It has been shown that the measurement error of attenuation coefficient due to diffraction loss could be corrected very well by this method, regardless of the thickness of specimens. 相似文献

After examination of the designed high voltage power supply system of the BESⅢ drift chamber in the beam test of the full length prototype of drift chamber, a full system covering all the channels of high voltage was installed. The system's training and the high voltage value adjustment were carried out in the cosmic ray test of the BESⅢ drift chamber. The cosmic ray test for the full system and its final installation on the BESⅢ drift chamber were reported. The full system of high voltage power supply works stably and reliably. 相似文献

We theoreticMly investigate the response of the probe amplification in a five-level atomlc system m the presence of interacting double-dark resonances disturbed by introducing an additional signal field. It is found that a large enhancement of the probe amplification with or without population inversion can be achieved by properly adjusting the strengths of the microwave driving field and the signal laser field. The proposed scheme for the consideration of charge transfer in the three-layer Gr/Me/SiC system (where Gr is a single-sheet graphene, Me is an intercalated metal layer, and SiC is a substrate) contains three stages. At the first stage, a metal monolayer adsorbed on silicon carbide is considered and the charge of adatoms in this monolayer is calculated. At the second stage, the shift of the Dirac point of free-standing single-layer graphene in an electrostatic field induced by charged adatoms of the monolayer is estimated. At the third stage, a weak interaction between Me/SiC and free-standing graphene is included, which allows electrons to tunnel but does not significantly distort the density of states of free-standing graphene. Estimations are performed for n- and p-type 6H-SiC(0001) substrates and Cu, Ag, and Au layers. The charge state of the graphene sheet and the shift of the Dirac point with respect to the Fermi level of the system are calculated. A comparison with the available experimental and theoretical results shows that the proposed scheme works quite satisfactorily. 相似文献

The upper-level system is mainly developed from LabVIEW and the lower-level system mainly uses MCU and PLC technology. The system is designed to be highly flexible and scalable so that it can be applied to other detectors with little or no change.
