[reaction: see text] Chiral spirocyclic 2,6-dioxopiperazines were synthesized from amino acid derived alpha-quaternary alpha-amino nitriles via H(2)SO(4)-promoted cyano hydration, followed by base-mediated cyclization and N-alkylation. This methodology, requiring the previous preparation of the amino nitrile by a modified Strecker reaction, was applied to Phe, Trp, Pro, Asp, Glu, and Ser derivatives. In the case of the Trp-derived amino nitrile the major product of the treatment with H(2)SO(4) was not the expected carboxamide, but a new tetracyclic indoline derivative containing the novel heterocyclic system hexahydropyrrolo[1',2',3':1,9a,9]imidazo[1,2-a]indole, as a result of a domino tautomerization. The treatment of this indoline derivative with refluxing 1 N HCl led to a Trp-derived 2,6-dioxopiperazine. The 2,6-dioxopiperazine ring opened under the reaction conditions of methyl ester saponification, giving N-(carboxyalkyl)amino acid derivatives. Therefore, the synthesis of 2,6-dioxopiperazines containing free carboxylic acids from the respective methyl esters required transesterification to benzyl esters, followed by hydrogenolysis.  相似文献

Reactions of N,N,N-tridentate quinolinyl anilido-imine ligands with AlMe(3) afford mononuclear aluminum complexes {κ(3)-[{2-[ArN[double bond, length as m-dash]C(H)]C(6)H(4)}N(8-C(9)H(6)N)]}AlMe(2) (Ar = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (1a), 2,6-Et(2)C(6)H(3) (1b), 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3) (1c)) or dinuclear complexes AlMe(3){κ(1)-[{2-[ArN[double bond, length as m-dash]C(H)C(6)H(4)]N(8-C(9)H(6)N)}-κ(2)]AlMe(2) (R = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (2a), 2,6-Et(2)C(6)H(3) (2b), 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3) (2c)) depending on the ratios of reactants used. Similar reactions of ZnEt(2) with these ligands give the monoligated ethyl zinc complexes {κ(3)-[{2-[ArN[double bond, length as m-dash]C(H)]C(6)H(4)}N(8-C(9)H(6)N)]}ZnEt (Ar = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (3a), 2,6-Et(2)C(6)H(3) (3b), 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3) (3c)) or bisligated complexes {κ(3)-[{2-[ArN[double bond, length as m-dash]C(H)]C(6)H(4)}N(8-C(9)H(6)N)]}Zn{κ(2)-[{2-[ArN[double bond, length as m-dash]C(H)]C(6)H(4)}N(8-C(9)H(6)N)]} (Ar = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (4a), 2,6-Et(2)C(6)H(3) (4b), 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3) (4c)). These complexes were well characterized by NMR and the structures of 1a, 2a, 2c, 3b and 4c were confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. The aluminum and zinc complexes were tested to initiate lactide polymerization in which the zinc complexes show moderate to high activities in the presence of benzyl alcohol.  相似文献

The para-substituted lithium aryloxides [{4-NC-C6H4OLi.(Pyr)2}2.Pyr] 1a, [{4-NC-C6H4OLi.(THF)2}2] 1b, [{4-MeO-C6H4OLi.Pyr}4] 2a, [4-MeO-C6H4OLi.(THF)n] 2b, [{4-NC-2,6-(t-Bu)2-C6H2OLi.(Pyr)2}infinity] 3a, [{4-NC-2,6-(t-Bu)2-C6H2OLi.(THF)2}infinity] 3b, [{4-MeO-2,6-(t-Bu)2-C6H2OLi.Pyr}2.(Pyr)2] 4a, and [4-MeO-2,6-(t-Bu)2-C6H2OLi.(THF)n] 4b were prepared by the direct deprotonation of the corresponding phenol with an alkyllithium base (BuLi or MeLi) in the appropriate solvent, either pyridine or THF. All compounds were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and the crystal structures of 1a, 1b, 2a, 3a, 3b and 4a were elucidated. The cyano derivatives 1a and 1b adopt discrete tetrasolvated Li2O2 ring dimers whereas the methoxy analogue 2a crystallizes as a tetrasolvated molecular tetramer with a pseudo cubic Li4O4 core. The sterically encumbered cyano derivatives 3a and 3b form isostructural 1D polymeric chains of monomers via bridging of the phenolate ligands through Li...NC and Li-O contacts. In comparison, the crystal structure of the methoxy counterpart 4a is a disolvated molecular Li2O2 ring dimer. Solution NMR spectroscopic studies of 1-4 in d5-pyridine and d8-THF indicate that the methoxy complexes are more highly aggregated than the cyano derivatives, consistent with the solid-state studies. Ab initio molecular orbital calculations at the HF/6-31G* level of theory indicate that the origin of the aggregation state variations between the cyano and methoxy complexes is due to electronic effects.  相似文献

Seven new pyridine dicarboxamide ligands H2L(1-7) have been synthesised from condensation reactions involving pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (H2dipic), pyridine-2,6-dicarbonyl dichloride or 2,6-diaminopyridine with heterocyclic amine or carboxylic acid precursors. Crystallographic analyses of N,N'-bis(2-pyridyl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide monohydrate (H2L8 x H2O), N,N'-bis[2-(2-pyridyl)methyl]pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide and N,N'-bis[2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl]pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide monohydrate revealed extensive intramolecular hydrogen bonding interactions. 2,6-Bis(pyrazine-2-carboxamido)pyridine (H2L6) and 2,6-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)pyridine (H2L7) reacted with copper(II) acetate monohydrate to give tricopper(II) complexes [Cu3(L)2(mu2-OAc)2]. X-Ray crystallography confirmed deprotonation of the amidic nitrogen atoms and that the (L6,7)2- ligands and acetate anions hold three copper(II) ions in approximately linear fashion. H2L8. Reacted with copper(II) tetrakis(pyridine) perchlorate to give [Cu(L8)(OH2)]2 x 2H2O, in which (L8)2- was tridentate through the nitrogen atoms of the central pyridine ring and the deprotonated carboxamide groups at one copper centre, with one of the terminal pyridyl rings coordinating to the other copper atom in the dimer. The corresponding reaction using H2L7 gave [Cu3(L7)2(py)2][ClO4]2, which transformed during an attempted recrystallisation from ethanol under aerobic conditions to a tetracopper(II) complex [Cu4(L7)2(L7-O)2].  相似文献

A multiple-use macrocycle recognizes dibenzylammonium ions and 2,6-lutidine derivatives, each in a [2]pseudorotaxane-like manner, through interactions with its diethylene glycol (hydrogen bonding) and 2,6-pyridinedicarboxamide (Pd2+ chelation) spacers, respectively. We characterized these complexes in the solid state (X-ray crystallography) and in solution (1H NMR spectroscopy). The synthesis of two corresponding [2]rotaxanes confirmed that these recognition systems possess [2]pseudorotaxane geometries in solution.  相似文献

The imido(meso-tetra-p-tolylporphyrinato)molybdenum(IV) complexes, (TTP)Mo=NR, where R = C6H5 (1a), p-CH3C6H4 (1b), 2,4,6-(CH3)3C6H2 (1c), and 2,6-(i-Pr)2C6H4 (1d), can be prepared by the reaction of (TTP)MoCl2 with 2 equiv of LiNHR in toluene. Upon treatment of the imido complexes with pyridine derivatives, NC5H4-p-X (X = CH3, CH(CH3)2, C[triple bond]N), new six-coordinate complexes, (TTP)Mo=NR.NC5H4-p-X, were observed. The reaction between the molybdenum imido complexes, (TTP)Mo=NC6H5 or (TTP)Mo=NC6H4CH3, and (TTP)Ti(eta2-PhC[triple bond]CPh) resulted in complete imido group transfer and two-electron redox of the metal centers to give (TTP)Mo(eta2-PhC[triple bond]CPh) and (TTP)Ti=NC6H5 or (TTP)Ti=NC6H4CH3.  相似文献

Cyclopalladated tetranuclear Pd(II) complexes, [Pd2(micro-Cl)2(Y)]2 (Y = L1 or L2; H2L1 = di(2-pyridyl)-2,2'-bithiophene; H2L2 = 5,5'-di(2-pyridyl)-2,2':5',2'-terthiophene), containing two pyridyl-alpha, alpha'-disubstituted derivatives of thiophene were prepared. Treating these products with PR3 and subsequently with NaN3 produced the dinuclear Pd-azido complexes [(PR3)2(N3)Pd-Y-Pd(N3)(PR3)2] (Y = L1 or L2) or a cyclometallated complex [(PR3)(N3)Pd-Y'-Pd(N3)(PR3)] (Y' = C,N-L2). Reactions of these Pd-azido complexes with CN-Ar (Ar = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3), 2,6-i-Pr(2)C(6)H(3)) or R-NCS (R = i-Pr, Et, allyl) led to the complexes containing end-on carbodiimido groups [(PMe3)2(N[double bond]C[double bond]N-Ar)Pd-Y-Pd(N[double bond]C[double bond]N-Ar)(PMe3)2] or S-coordinated tetrazole-thiolato groups {(PMe3)2[CN4(R)]S-Pd-Y-Pd-S[CN4)(R)](PMe3)2}. Interestingly, when treated with elemental sulfur, the carbodiimido complexes transformed into the cyclometallated derivatives, [(PMe3)(N[double bond]C[double bond]N-Ar)Pd-Y'-Pd(N[double bond]C[double bond]N-Ar)(PMe3)] (Y' = C,N-L1, C,N-L2). We also report the preparation of linear, thienylene-bridged dinuclear Pd complexes [L2(N3)Pd-X(or X')-Pd(N3)L2] (L = PMe3 or PMe2Ph; H2X = 2,2'-bithiophene or H2X' = 2,2':5',2'-terthiophene) and their reactivity toward organic isocyanide and isothiocyanates.  相似文献

A series of novel (1‐acetyl‐5‐aryl‐4,5‐dihydro)‐1H‐pyrazole substituted pyridine derivatives and poly substituted [2,3′‐bipyridine]‐5‐carbonitrile derivatives were synthesized from 3,5‐diacetyl‐2,6‐dimethylpyridine. The structures of two typical 3,5‐bis[1‐acetyl‐5‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐3‐yl]‐2,6‐dimethylpyridines [ 3b(1) and 3b(2) ] were confirmed by X‐ray diffraction analysis. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The reaction between lambda3-diphosphazane [EtN(PCl2)2] and the sodium salts of substituted phenols affords sterically encumbered diphosphazanes [EtN{P(OR)2}2] (R = -C6H3iPr2-2,6 (1), -C6H3Me2-2,6 (2) and -C6H2Me3-2,4,6 (3)). When the same reaction was carried out with bulky sodium 2,4-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenoxide, only a monosubstitution takes place to result in the formation of [EtN{PCl(OR)}2] (R = -C6H2tBu2-2,6-Me-4) (4). Further reaction of 2 with [Mo(CO)4(NBD)] produces cis-[(EtN{P(OC6H3Me2-2,6)2}2)Mo(CO)4] (5). Diphosphazanes 1-4 and the metal derivative 5 have been characterized by means of their analytical data and EI-MS, IR and multinuclear NMR (1H and 31P) spectral data. The solid-state structure of the diphosphazanes 1, 2 and 4, and the molybdenum complex 5 have been determined by X-ray diffraction studies. Irrespective of the size of substituent, the bulky groups on the phosphorus and nitrogen are on the same side of the P-N-P skeleton with a local C2v symmetry. The central nitrogen remains almost trigonal planar in all the compounds.  相似文献

New molecular rotors, [7.7](2,6)pyridinocyclophanes (monomers and dimers) embedding 1,3-dioxanes in the bridges, were investigated by variable-temperature NMR, molecular modeling, and single-crystal X-ray diffractometry. The nitrogen-inside rotation of the pyridine ring is more hindered in the derivatives with longer distance between the bridges (i.e., para > meta and 2,6-pyridylene > ortho) and can be chemically stopped by complexation with CF(3)SO(3)Ag. The use of an amino-oxazolinate (NN(ox) = kappa2-2,6-dimethylphenylamido-4(S)-isopropyloxazoline) as a chiral analogue to amidinate ligands in the chemistry of titanium was found to lead to undesired side reactions. The reaction of 2,6-dimethylphenylamido-4(S)-isopropyloxazoline with [Ti(NMe2)4] afforded the bis(amidinato) complex [Ti(NN(ox))2(NMe2)2] (2) which was thermally converted to the ring-opened decomposition products [Ti(NN(ox)){kappa3-N(2,6-C6H3Me2)C(NMe2)NC(iPr)CH2O}(NMe2)] (3) and [Ti{kappa3-N(2,6-C6H3Me2)C(NMe2)-NC(iPr)CH2O}2] (4). The NMR spectra of 4 recorded at low temperature displayed two sets of resonances corresponding to two symmetric isomers in a 2:5 ratio, the probable geometries of which were established by ONIOM (QM/MM) simulations. To suppress ring opening of the oxazolines, their oxygen atom was formally replaced by a CH2 group in the synthesis of a series of amino-pyrroline protioligands 2-RN(H)(5-C4H5NR') (HN(R)N(R')). Their reaction with [Ti(NMe2)4] gave the thermally stable complexes [Ti(N(R)N(R'))2(NMe2)2], of which three derivatives were characterized by X-ray diffraction. They are stereochemically dynamic and undergo reversible ligand rearrangements in solution, for which the activation parameters were determined by variable-temperature (1)H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Titanium tetrachloride reacts with 2,6-bis[(1-phenylimino)ethyl]pyridine, 1, and 2,6-bis[1-(2,6-diisopropylphenylimino)ethyl]pyridine, 2, giving the adducts of general formulae [Ti1Cl3]Cl, 3, and [Ti2Cl3]Cl, 6, the latter through the intermediacy of the covalently bonded [Ti2Cl4], 4. Heating 6 leads to reduction to the titanium(III) derivative [Ti2Cl3], 12, the latter characterized by X-ray diffraction methods. The reaction of [Ti1Cl3]Cl with a toluene solution of MAO proceeds with methylation at the ortho-position of the pyridine ring to give the titanium(iv) derivative [Ti(C22H21N3)Cl3], 8. The reaction of [Ti2Cl3]Cl with MAO gives a mixture of products containing [Ti2Cl2(OAlCl3)], 9. Compound 9, which has been prepared independently by reacting 6 with AlOCl, is a rare case of a compound containing the -OAlCl3 moiety, as shown by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. From the tetrachlorides of zirconium and hafnium with 1 or 2, the corresponding adducts [M(L)Cl4] have been obtained in high yields. These derivatives of Group 4 metals act as ethylene polymerization catalytic precursors: the substitution of the phenyl ring of the imino fragment strongly influences the catalytic activity which is 5,544 kg(PE) mol(Ti)(-1) h(-1) in the case of 3 and 267 kg(PE) mol(Ti)(-1) h(-1) with 6. Catalytic activity has been observed for zirconium and hafnium too, the activity decreasing from zirconium to hafnium, under comparable conditions.  相似文献

The synthesis and the IR, NMR (1H, 13C, and 119Sn), and M?ssbauer spectroscopies and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies of seven-coordinated diorganotin(IV) complexes, namely, [Ph2Sn(Hdapsc)]Cl.H2O.DMF [7; H(2)dapsc = 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis(semicarbazone)], [Me(2)Sn(H2,6Achexim)]Br.H2O [8; H(2)2,6Achexim = 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis(3-hexamethyleneiminylthiosemicarbazone)], [Me(2)Sn(dapmts)] [9; H(2)dapmts = 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis(4-methythiosemicarbazone)], and [nBu2Sn(dapmdtc)] [10; H(2)dapmdtc = 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis(S-methydithiocarbazate)], were done. The determination of the structures of [Ph(2)Sn(Hdapsc)]+, [Me2Sn(H2,6Achexim)]+ and [Me2Sn(dapmts)], [nBu2Sn(dapmdtc)] revealed the presence of monocationic and neutral complexes, respectively. The structures consist of monomeric units in which the Sn(IV) ions exhibit distorted pentagonal-bipyramidal geometries, with the X,N,N,N,X-donor (X = O, S) systems of the ligands lying in the equatorial plane and the organic groups in the apical positions. The C-Sn-C angle in the seven-coordinated diorganotin(IV) complexes was estimated using a correlation between M?ssbauer and X-ray data based on the point-charge model and using new values obtained in this work for [alkyl] = -1.00 mm s(-1) and [aryl] = -0.80 mm s(-1) for complexes containing O,N,N,N,O-pentadentate ligands and new values for [alkyl] = -0.87 mm s(-1) and [aryl] = -0.75 mm s(-1) for complexes containing S,N,N,N,S-pentadentate ligands.  相似文献

The 2,6-bis(alpha-iminoalkyl)pyridines 2,6-[ArNC(CR(3))](2)C(5)H(3)N [R = H, D; Ar = 2,6-i-Pr(2)C(6)H(3) (DIPP), 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (DMP)] react with MeLi in Et(2)O to give a binary mixture of products: the pyridine N-methylated species 2,6-[ArNC(CR(3))](2)C(5)H(3)N(Me)Li(OEt(2)) and the deprotonated/dedeuterated species 2-[ArNC(CR(3))],6-[ArNC(=CR(2))]C(5)H(3)NLi(OEt(2)). For R = D, the product ratio is 2:1 in favor of the N-methylated product, while, for R = H, the deprotonated product is favored by 5:1, increasing to 8:1 in toluene solvent. Warming solutions of the N-methylated species leads to clean conversion to the thermodynamically preferred deprotonated species. Crossover experiments show that MeLi is re-formed and dissociates from the terdentate ligand before deprotonating the ketimine methyl unit. For MgR(2) (R = Et, i-Pr) and ZnR(2) (R = Et) reagents, N-alkylation products are formed exclusively, but derivatives containing bulky aryl substituents are found to undergo further rearrangement to 2-alkylated species, arising by migration of the alkyl group of the N-alkyl moiety to the adjacent ring carbon atom. The reversibility of the N-alkylation process has been probed using deuterio-labeled Mg alkyl reagents and mixed alkyl zinc species. A cationic zinc derivative is shown to undergo "reverse" alkyl migration, from the heterocycle nitrogen atom to the zinc center. EPR spectroscopy reveals a paramagnetic intermediate in which the unpaired electron is delocalized over the heterocycle and di-imine moieties of the ligand, indicating that the N-alkylation reactions proceed via single electron-transfer processes.  相似文献

The alkylation of the Brookhart-Gibson {2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN=C(CH3)]2(C5H3N)} FeCl2 precatalyst with 2 equiv of LiCH2Si(CH3)3 led to the isolation of several catalytically very active products depending on the reaction conditions. The expected dialkylated species {2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN=C(CH3)]2}(C5H3N)Fe(CH2SiMe3)2 (2) was indeed the major component of the reaction mixture. However, other species in which alkylation occurred at the pyridine ring ortho position, {2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN=C(CH3)]2-2-CH2SiMe3}(C5H3N)Fe(CH2SiMe3) (1), and at the imine C atom, {2-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN=C(CH3)]-6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhNC(CH3)(CH2 SiMe3)](C5H3N)}Fe(CH2SiMe3) (3), have also been isolated and fully characterized. In addition, deprotonation of the methyl-imino functions and formation of a new divalent Fe catalyst {[2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN-C=(CH2)]2(C5H3N)}Fe(mu-Cl)Li(THF)3 (4) also occurred depending on the reaction conditions. In turn, the formation of 4 might trigger the reductive coupling of two units through the methyl-carbon wings. This process resulted in the one-electron reduction of the metal center, affording a dinuclear Fe(I) alkyl catalyst {[{[2,6-(i-Pr)2C6H5]N=C(CH3)}(C5H3N){[2,6-(i-Pr)26H5]N=CCH2}Fe(CH2SiMe3)]}2 (5). Different from other metal derivatives, complex 5 could not be prepared from the monodeprotonated version of the ligand. Its reaction with a mixture of FeCl2 and RLi afforded instead [{2,6-[2,6-(i-Pr)2PhN-C=(CH2)]2(C5H3N)}FeCH2Si(CH3)3][Li(THF)4] (6) which is also catalytically active. All of these high-spin species have been shown to have high catalytic activity for olefin polymerization, producing polymers of two distinct natures, depending on the formal oxidation state of the metal center.  相似文献

The direct reaction of europium with 2-propanol and phenols has been investigated under a variety of conditions. The reaction of europium metal with 2,6-dimethylphenol and 2,6-diisopropylphenol in 2-propanol at reflux revealed that polymetallic europium complexes could be generated by this method. Hx[Eu8O6(OC6H3Me2-2,6)12(OiPr)8], 1, and H5[Eu5O5(OC6H3iPr2-2,6)6(NCCH3)8], 2, were isolated by recrystallization in the presence of hexanes and acetonitrile, respectively, and characterized by X-ray crystallography. Complex 1 has a cubic arrangement of europium ions with face-bridging mu 4-O donor atoms, edge-bridging mu-O(phenoxide/phenol) ligands, and terminal O(isopropoxide/2-propanol) ligands. Complex 2 is mixed valent and has a square pyramidal europium core with four Eu(II) ions at the basal positions and one Eu(III) ion at the apex. Since these reactions gave complicated mixtures of products from which 1 and 2 could only be obtained in low yields, direct reactions under less forcing reaction conditions were investigated. Europium reacts slowly at room temperature to form arene-soluble divalent [Eu(OiPr)2(THF)x]n, 3. Complex 3 reacts with 2,6-dimethylphenol to form the arene-insoluble complex (H[Eu(OC6H3Me2)2(OiPr)])n, 4. Recrystallization of 4 in the presence of THF results in the crystallographically characterizable divalent trimetallic complex [Eu(OC6H3Me2-2,6)2(THF)2]3, 5, which has an unusual linear metal geometry. In the presence of HOiPr at ambient conditions in the glovebox, crystals of 5 slowly convert to the mixed valent H10[Eu8O8(OC6H3Me2-2,6)10(OiPr)2(THF)6], 6, which was found to have a cubic arrangement of europium atoms similar to 1 by X-ray crystallography. Complex 4, upon heating under vacuum, followed by reaction with THF, forms the arene-soluble divalent complex H18([Eu9O8(OC6H3Me2-2,6)10(THF)7][Eu9O9(OC6H3Me2-2,6)10(THF)6]), 7, which contains two types of capped cubic arrangements of europium ions in the solid state.  相似文献

The "[Ru(IV)(2,6-Cl2tpp)Cl2]+2,6-Cl2pyNO" protocol oxidized, under acid-free conditions, a wide variety of hydrocarbons including 1) cycloalkenes, conjugated enynes, electron-deficient alkenes (to afford epoxides), 2) arenes (to afford quinones), and 3) Delta5-unsaturated steroids, Delta4-3-ketosteroids, and estratetraene derivatives (to afford epoxide/ketone derivatives of steroids) in up to 99 % product yield within several hours with up to 100 % substrate conversion and excellent regio- or diastereoselectivity. Catalyst [Ru(IV)(2,6-Cl2tpp)Cl2] is remarkably active and robust toward the above oxidation reactions, and turnover numbers of up to 6.4x10(3), 2.0x10(4), and 1.6x10(4) were obtained for the oxidation of alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones, arenes, and Delta5-unsaturated steroids, respectively.  相似文献
