This paper presents a new and an efficient method for determining solutions of the linear second kind Volterra integral equations system. In this method, the linear Volterra integral equations system using the Taylor series expansion of the unknown functions transformed to a linear system of ordinary differential equations. For determining boundary conditions we use a new method. This method is effective to approximate solutions of integral equations system with a smooth kernel, and a convolution kernel. An error analysis for the proposed method is provided. And illustrative examples are given to represent the efficiency and the accuracy of the proposed method.  相似文献

混凝土构件检测时,一般采用百分比抽样的方式.以回弹法中对混凝土强度进行检测时采用百分比抽样的抽样方式为例,从绝对误差限和相对误差限的角度分析了不同构件总量均采用此方法抽取样本的不合理性,并提出在不同混凝土强度等级、不同构件总数的情况下,通过控制一定的误差限来确定样本数量的方法.通过理论和实例分析,提出在抽样过程中,采用分层抽样技术对检测构件进行合理分层,降低总体方差,可减少样本数量.这种方法也适用于其它检测问题的样本容量的确定.  相似文献

This method can be applied to nonintegrable equations as well as to integrable ones. This method is based on the theory of commutative algebra. This paper presents a new approximate method of Abel differential equation. By using the shifted Chebyshev expansion of the unknown function, Abel differential equation is approximately transformed to a system of nonlinear equations for the unknown coefficients. A desired solution can be determined by solving the resulting nonlinear system. This method gives a simple and closed form of approximate solution of Abel differential equation. The solution is calculated in the form of a series with easily computable components. The numerical results show the effectiveness of the method for this type of equation. Comparing the methodology with some known techniques shows that the present approach is relatively easy and highly accurate.  相似文献

In this paper we propose a direct regularization method using QR factorization for solving linear discrete ill-posed problems. The decomposition of the coefficient matrix requires less computational cost than the singular value decomposition which is usually used for Tikhonov regularization. This method requires a parameter which is similar to the regularization parameter of Tikhonov's method. In order to estimate the optimal parameter, we apply three well-known parameter choice methods for Tikhonov regularization.This revised version was published online in October 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the iterative method for estimating the optimum overrelaxation parameter. The improved power method (IP method) with the greatest rate of convergence is derived and compared with the Chebyshev polynomial iterative method (CP method) and the other iterative methods. One method which has been used very successfully for finding optimal and provably good solutions for large instances of the symmetric travelling salesman problem (STSP) is the branch and cut method. This method requires knowledge of classes of useful valid inequalities for the polytope associated with the STSP, as well as efficient separation routines for these classes of inequalities. Recently a new class of valid inequalities called the domino-parity inequalites were introduced for the STSP. An efficient separation routine is known for these constraints if certain conditions are satisfied by the point to be separated. This separation routine has never been implemented or tested. We present several performance enhancements for this separation routine, and discuss our implementation of this improved algorithm. We test our implementation and provide results which we believe demonstrate the practical usefulness of these constraints and the separation routine for the STSP within a branch and cut framework. The method of largest remainders (Hamilton) is used for allotment of 288 of the seats among the 56 Greek constituencies. This method possesses various paradoxes as was observed through two centuries of application. So we propose a modification where the seats are allocated at a first stage by the lower Hare-Quota and the additional ones using the method of major fractions (Webster) restricted simultaneously by the upper quota. This method may produce paradoxes but they are observed extremely rare. Extended simulations over the Greek electoral data indicate that the frequency that the new method violates monotonicity is by far less than the frequency that Webster method violates quota.  相似文献

In this work we will discuss the solution of an initial value problem of parabolic type. The main objective is to propose an alternative method of solution, one not based on finite difference or finite element or spectral methods. The aim of the present paper is to investigate the application of the Adomian decomposition method for solving the Fokker–Planck equation and some similar equations. This method can successfully be applied to a large class of problems. The Adomian decomposition method needs less work in comparison with the traditional methods. This method decreases considerable volume of calculations. The decomposition procedure of Adomian will be obtained easily without linearizing the problem by implementing the decomposition method rather than the standard methods for the exact solutions. In this approach the solution is found in the form of a convergent series with easily computed components. In this work we are concerned with the application of the decomposition method for the linear and nonlinear Fokker–Planck equation. To give overview of methodology, we have presented several examples in one and two dimensional cases.  相似文献

One of the most important research fields in marketing science is the analysis of time series data. This article develops a new method for modeling multivariate time series. The proposed method enables us to measure simultaneously the effectiveness of marketing activities, the baseline sales, and the effects of controllable/uncontrollable business factors. The critical issue in the model construction process is the method for evaluating the usefulness of the predictive models. This problem is investigated from a statistical point of view, and use of the Bayesian predictive information criterion is considered. The proposed method is applied to sales data regarding incense products. The method successfully extracted useful information that may enable managers to plan their marketing strategies more effectively.  相似文献

In the context of the particle finite element method (PFEM) a body is considered as a set of particles that are meshed with standard finite elements before every load step. This enables the method to cope with large topological changes where the standard FEM often fails. To mesh the set of particles, its boundary needs to be detected which is accomplished with the α-shape method, and although this method is often used within the PFEM, the crucial parameter α is not well understood.
