研究二维浅水波方程的数值激波不稳定性问题.线性稳定性分析和数值实验表明,格式的临界稳定性与数值激波的不稳定现象有重要的联系.基于扰动量的增长矩阵分析,本文将高分辨率的数值格式和HLL格式进行特定的加权,设计一类新的混合型数值格式.其中可以调节非线性波速的HLLC与HLL的混合格式,数值试验展示了消除浅水波方程激波不稳定现象的有效性和鲁棒性.  相似文献

 An algorithm of numerical testing of the uniform Lopatinski condition for linearized stability problems for 1-shocks is suggested. The algorithm is used for finding the domains of uniform stability, neutral stability, and instability of planar fast MHD shocks. A complete stability analysis of fast MHD shock waves is first carried out in two space dimensions for the case of an ideal gas. Main results are given for the adiabatic constant γ=5/3 (mono-atomic gas), that is most natural for the MHD model. The cases γ=7/5 (two-atomic gas) and γ>5/3 are briefly discussed. Not only the domains of instability and linear (in the usual sense) stability, but also the domains of uniform stability, for which a corresponding linearized stability problem satisfies the uniform Lopatinski condition, are numerically found for different given angles of inclination of the magnetic field behind the shock to the planar shock front. As is known, uniform linearized stability implies the nonlinear stability, that is local existence of discontinuous shock front solutions of a quasilinear system of hyperbolic conservation laws. Different forms of criteria for the existence and stability of relativistic shock waves are compared. In case of a single-valued shock adiabat expressed as a function of pressure the requirement of the existence of a shock viscous profile is shown to be most restrictive. This criterion overlaps evolutionarity conditions, the entropy criterion and corrugation stability. The relativistic criterion of the spontaneous radiation of sound is proved to be equivalent to the condition of shock quasi-instability with respect to three-wave branching. The results are qualitatively analogous to those of a non-relativistic consideration.  相似文献

We study the viscous and inviscid stability of shock waves in barotropic and full magnetohydrodynamics. We show that there are magnetohydrodynamic shock waves that are one-dimensionally stable as viscous shock profiles while they are multidimensionally strongly unstable as planar shock discontinuities.  相似文献

用线性稳定性理论,分析粘性物质中的正激波稳定性问题.粘性物质中任意强度的一维激波,其稳定性问题可归结为处理复数范围内的特征值问题,该特征值问题由两个一阶常微分方程及一个二阶常微分方程构成.这些常微分方程的系数依赖于流动的基本流场的物理量及其梯度.所获得的特征值问题由一个四阶精度的有限差分离散求解.分析考虑物质粘性的金属铝中的正激波稳定性,可以看出,正激波运动是稳定的,并且激波速度对波前和波后的小扰动量的衰减有相反的作用,而物质粘性有致稳的作用.  相似文献

在单次冲击压缩实验中,借助新建的瞬态拉曼光谱技术实现了对液态硝基甲烷冲击拉曼光谱的原位观测,来探究该样品分子在冲击波作用下的结构稳定性.实验发现,在10.6 GPa的冲击加载下硝基甲烷的拉曼特征峰仅发生了蓝移和展宽,而在观测波段未发现化学变化产生的迹象.这一结果否定了文献所报道的硝基甲烷在6 GPa~8.5 GPa的单次冲击压力区间内发生了化学反应的推论,同时也证实了在10.6GPa的冲击压力下硝基甲烷分子在约为516 ns的压缩时间内能够保持其结构的稳定.  相似文献

制备了不同单体浓度的聚合物稳定铁电液晶器件,测试了震动实验和热稳定实验前后样品的排列织构、电光特性和对比度.用原子力显微镜研究了各样品的聚合物形貌,表明在器件内部形成了沿摩擦方向延伸的聚合物网络,并且随着单体含量的增加聚合物网络更加致密.由于聚合物网络体锚定的引入,使得铁电液晶分子在外力和温度场下的运动受到限制,聚合物体锚定的增强使聚合物稳定铁电液晶的稳定性也逐渐提高.实验结果表明,单体含量为4%时,聚合物稳定铁电液晶的抗震性和热稳定性良好,电光曲线为无阈值“V”字型,对比度达150∶1.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of the classification and stability of Mach configurations. In the Mach reflection of a shock wave by a rigid wall the flow behind the reflected shock front can be supersonic or subsonic. Correspondingly, the Mach configuration can be classified as E-E type and E-H type. In this paper we proved the stability of E-H type Mach configurations provided the reflected shock is weak. The result is the complement of the stability of E-E type Mach configurations in our earlier work.The stability of E-H Mach configurations is reduced to a generalized Tricomi problem of a nonlinear mixed type equation. The linearization of this problem is a generalized Tricomi problem of a linear Lavrentiev-Bitsadze’s mixed type equation. In order to prove the existence of such a problem we first use the equation in the hyperbolic region and a condition on the reflected shock to establish a relation of the unknown function and its normal derivative on the sonic line. Then the generalized Tricomi problem is reduced to a nonlocal boundary value problem in the elliptic region. Careful analysis gives necessary estimates and the solvability of the linearized problem. It leads to the existence of the solution to the corresponding nonlinear problem, which implies the required stability of E-H Mach configurations.  相似文献

The Evans function theory, which has recently been applied to the study of linear stability of viscous shock profiles, is developed below for semi-linear relaxation. We study the linear stability of shock profiles in the Lax, undercompressive and overcompressive cases. Though there is strong numerical evidence for the stability of undercompressive shocks, their stability has not been verified analytically. In particular, the energy methods used to analyze stability of standard shocks do not apply. Here, we present the first proof of stability for a particular undercompresive shock, the real Burgers shock considered as a solution of the complex Burgers equation. Our analysis is by direct calculation of the Green's function for the linearized equations, combined with pointwise estimates of nonlinear effects. A benefit of this method is to obtain fairly detailed information about the solution, includingL 1 behavior, and rates of decay in different regions of space.  相似文献

We investigate the slope effects upon traffic flow on a single lane gradient (uphill/downhill) highway analytically and numerically. The stability condition, neutral stability condition and instability condition are obtained by the use of linear stability theory. It is found that stability of traffic flow on the gradient varies with the slopes. The Burgers, Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) and modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equations are derived to describe the triangular shock waves, soliton waves and kink-antikink waves in the stable, meta-stable and unstable region respectively. A series of simulations are carried out to reproduce the triangular shock waves, kink-antikink waves and soliton waves. Results show that amplitudes of the triangular shock waves and kink-antikink waves vary with the slopes, the soliton wave appears in an upward form when the average headway is less than the safety distance and a downward form when the average headway is more than the safety distance. Moreover both the kink-antikink waves and the solitary waves propagate backwards. The numerical simulation shows a good agreement with the analytical result.  相似文献

Using the ninth laser beam (converted to 2ω) of “Shenguang-II” laser facility and the beam smoothing technology of lens-array [Appl. Opt. 25, 377 (1986); Phys. Plasmas. 9, 3201 (1995)], a shock wave with 700 μm (the root-mean-square of shock breakout time (RMS) RMS ≈ 6.32 ps) flat top was created. An Al-Al four-step target was designed to do research on shock wave stability in an Al target. And the shock stability experiment with the Al-Al four-step target indicated that the shock wave steadily propagated in the Al target of thickness of about 20–45 μm under the power density of ~ 1.0×1014 W/cm2.  相似文献

The shock heating of a laser-driven, direct-drive target can determine its stability by affecting Rayleigh-Taylor growth rates through target decompression and ablative stabilization. Measurements indicate that pulses that rise rapidly to 10(14) W/cm(2) produce shock-induced temperatures of approximately 25 eV, whereas more slowly rising pulses show less heating. Analysis of the observed target behavior produced by these two pulses demonstrates that shock heating improves hydrodynamic stability because ablative stabilization increases when the targets are preheated by shocks.  相似文献
