In this paper, we present a multi-symplectic Hamiltonian formulation of the coupled Schr¨odinger-KdV equations(CSKE) with periodic boundary conditions. Then we develop a novel multi-symplectic Fourier pseudospectral(MSFP)scheme for the CSKE. In numerical experiments, we compare the MSFP method with the Crank–Nicholson(CN) method.Our results show high accuracy, effectiveness, and good ability of conserving the invariants of the MSFP method.  相似文献

The energy preserving average vector field(AVF) method is applied to the coupled Schro¨dinger–KdV equations. Two energy preserving schemes are constructed by using Fourier pseudospectral method in space direction discretization. In order to accelerate our simulation, the split-step technique is used. The numerical experiments show that the non-splitting scheme and splitting scheme are both effective, and have excellent long time numerical behavior. The comparisons show that the splitting scheme is faster than the non-splitting scheme, but it is not as good as the non-splitting scheme in preserving the invariants.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a variational integrator for nonlinear Schrdinger equations with variable coefficients. It is shown that our variational integrator is naturally multi-symplectic. The discrete multi-symplectic structure of the integrator is presented by a multi-symplectic form formula that can be derived from the discrete Lagrangian boundary function. As two examples of nonlinear Schrdinger equations with variable coefficients, cubic nonlinear Schrdinger equations and Gross–Pitaevskii equations are extensively studied by the proposed integrator. Our numerical simulations demonstrate that the integrator is capable of preserving the mass, momentum, and energy conservation during time evolutions. Convergence tests are presented to verify that our integrator has second-order accuracy both in time and space.  相似文献

The present paper deals with the numerical solution of the coupled Schrdinger-KdV equations using the elementfree Galerkin(EFG) method which is based on the moving least-square approximation.Instead of traditional mesh oriented methods such as the finite difference method(FDM) and the finite element method(FEM),this method needs only scattered nodes in the domain.For this scheme,a variational method is used to obtain discrete equations and the essential boundary conditions are enforced by the penalty method.In numerical experiments,the results are presented and compared with the findings of the finite element method,the radial basis functions method,and an analytical solution to confirm the good accuracy of the presented scheme.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed for preparing a quantum vortex state with a coupled waveguide, in which a single-mode odd cat state with weak intensity and a single-mode coherent state are inserted in the input ports, respectively. The analytical wavefunction of the resulting state in the quadrature space is derived, and the vortex structure of the output state is analyzed. It is found that the obtained states, which may carry a vortex with topological charge index one, are entangled and nonclassical, depending only on the scaled propagation time and the weak intensity of the input odd cat state instead of the displacement parameter of the input coherent state. The phase distribution, however, in the quadrature space, depends on the displacement parameter of the input coherent state  相似文献

We propose multisymplectic implicit and explicit Fourier pseudospectral methods for the Klein-Gordon-Schro¨dinger equations.We prove that the implicit method satisfies the charge conservation law exactly.Both methods provide accurate solutions in long-time computations and simulate the soliton collision well.The numerical results show the abilities of the two methods in preserving the charge,energy,and momentum conservation laws.  相似文献

A high order energy preserving scheme for a strongly coupled nonlinear Schr¨odinger system is proposed by using the average vector field method. The high order energy preserving scheme is applied to simulate the soliton evolution of the strongly coupled Schr¨odinger system. Numerical results show that the high order energy preserving scheme can well simulate the soliton evolution, moreover, it preserves the discrete energy of the strongly coupled nonlinear Schr¨odinger system exactly.  相似文献

We investigate the Schro¨dinger equation for a particle with a nonuniform solitonic mass density. First, we discuss in extent the(nontrivial) position-dependent mass V(x) = 0 case whose solutions are hypergeometric functions in tanh2x. Then, we consider an external hyperbolic-tangent potential. We show that the efective quantum mechanical problem is given by a Heun class equation and find analytically an eigenbasis for the space of solutions. We also compute the eigenstates for a potential of the form V(x) = V0 sinh2x.  相似文献

We construct various novel exact solutions of two coupled dynamical nonlinear Schrdinger equations.Based on the similarity transformation,we reduce the coupled nonlinear Schrdinger equations with time-and space-dependent potentials,nonlinearities,and gain or loss to the coupled dynamical nonlinear Schrdinger equations.Some special types of non-travelling wave solutions,such as periodic,resonant,and quasiperiodically oscillating solitons,are used to exhibit the wave propagations by choosing some arbitrary functions.Our results show that the number of the localized wave of one component is always twice that of the other one.In addition,the stability analysis of the solutions is discussed numerically.  相似文献

In this paper,the trial function method is extended to study the generalized nonlinear Schrdinger equation with timedependent coefficients.On the basis of a generalized traveling wave transformation and a trial function,we investigate the exact envelope traveling wave solutions of the generalized nonlinear Schrdinger equation with time-dependent coefficients.Taking advantage of solutions to trial function,we successfully obtain exact solutions for the generalized nonlinear Schrdinger equation with time-dependent coefficients under constraint conditions.  相似文献

We derive a new method for a coupled nonlinear Schrdinger system by using the square of first-order Fourier spectral differentiation matrix D1 instead of traditional second-order Fourier spectral differentiation matrix D2 to approximate the second derivative.We prove the proposed method preserves the charge and energy conservation laws exactly.In numerical tests,we display the accuracy of numerical solution and the role of the nonlinear coupling parameter in cases of soliton collisions.Numerical experiments also exhibit the excellent performance of the method in preserving the charge and energy conservation laws.These numerical results verify that the proposed method is both a charge-preserving and an energy-preserving algorithm.  相似文献

Considering the coupled nonlinear Schr¨odinger system with multiply components, we provide a novel framework for constructing energy-preserving algorithms. In detail, based on the high order compact finite difference method, Fourier pseudospectral method and wavelet collocation method for spatial discretizations, a series of high accurate conservative algorithms are presented. The proposed algorithms can preserve the corresponding discrete charge and energy conservation laws exactly, which would guarantee their numerical stabilities during long time computations.Furthermore, several analogous multi-symplectic algorithms are constructed as comparison. Numerical experiments for the unstable plane waves will show the advantages of the proposed algorithms over long time and verify the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

The Lie symmetry analysis is performed for the coupled short plus (CSP) equation. We derive the infinitesimals that admit the classical symmetry group. Five types arise depending on the nature of the Lie symmetry generator. In all types, we find reductions in terms of system of ordinary differential equations, and exact solutions of the CSP equation are derived, which are compared with numerical solutions using the classical fourth-order Runge-Kutta scheme.  相似文献

Põschl--Teller double-ring-shaped Coulomb (PTDRSC) potential, the Coulomb potential surrounded by Põschl--Teller and double-ring-shaped inversed square potential, is put forward. In spherical polar coordinates, PTDRSC potential has supersymmetry and shape invariance in φ, θ and r coordinates. By using the method of supersymmetry and shape invariance, exact bound state solutions of Schrõdinger equation with PTDRSC potential are presented. The normalized φ, θ angular wave function expressed in terms of Jacobi polynomials and the normalized radial wave function expressed in terms of Laguerre polynomials are presented. Energy spectrum equations are obtained. Wave function and energy spectrum equations of the system are related to three quantum numbers and parameters of PTDRSC potential. The solutions of wave functions and corresponding eigenvalues are only suitable for the PTDRSC potential.  相似文献

We are going to prove that the Monopole and the Coulomb fields are duals within the unifying structure provided by the Reissner–Nordstr¨om spacetime. This is accomplished when noticing that in order to produce the tetrad that locally and covariantly diagonalizes the stress-energy tensor, both the Monopole and the Coulomb fields are necessary in the construction. Without any of them it would be impossible to express the tetrad vectors that locally and covariantly diagonalize the stress-energy tensor. Then, both electromagnetic fields are an integral part of the same structure, the Reissner–Nordstr¨om geometry.  相似文献

This paper considers the one-dimensional dissipative cubic nonlinear Schrdinger equation with zero Dirichlet boundary conditions on a bounded domain.The equation is discretized in time by a linear implicit three-level central difference scheme,which has analogous discrete conservation laws of charge and energy.The convergence with two orders and the stability of the scheme are analysed using a priori estimates.Numerical tests show that the three-level scheme is more efficient.  相似文献

The coupled modified nonlinear Schrdinger equations are under investigation in this work. Starting from analyzing the spectral problem of the Lax pair, a Riemann–Hilbert problem for the coupled modified nonlinear Schrdinger equations is formulated. And then, through solving the obtained Riemann–Hilbert problem under the conditions of irregularity and reflectionless case, N-soliton solutions for the equations are presented. Furthermore, the localized structures and dynamic behaviors of the one-soliton solution are shown graphically.  相似文献

Here an asymptotic study to the N-dimensional radial Schrdinger equation for the quark-antiquark interaction potential employing asymptotic iteration method via an ansatz to the wavefunction is carried out. The complete energy spectra of the consigned system is obtained by computing and adding energy eigenvalues for ground state, for large " r" and for small " r". From this analysis, the mass spectra of heavy quarkonia is derived in three dimensions. Our analytical and numerical results are in good correspondence with other experimental and theoretical studies.  相似文献
