Two novel facial-capping tris-naphthyridyl compounds, 2-chloro-5-methyl-7-((2,4-dimethyl-1,8-naphthyridin-7(1H)-ylidene)(2,4-dimethyl-1,8-naphthyridin-7-yl))methyl-1,8-naphthyridine (L(1)) and 2-chloro-7-((2-methyl-1,8-naphthyridin-7(1H)-ylidene)(2-methyl-1,8-naphthyridin-7-yl))methyl-1,8-naphthyridine (L(2)), as well as their Cu(i) and Pb(ii) complexes, [CuL(a)(PPh(3))]BF(4) (1) (PPh(3) = triphenylphosphine, L(a) = bis(2,4-dimethyl-1,8-naphthyridin-7-yl)(2-chloro-5-methyl-1,8-naphthyridin-7-yl)methane), [CuL(b)(PPh(3))]BF(4) (2) (L(b) = bis(2-methyl-1,8-naphthyridin-7-yl)(2-chloro-1,8-naphthyridin-7-yl)methane), [Pb(OL(a))(NO(3))(2)] (3) (OL(a) = bis(2,4-dimethyl-1,8-naphthyridin-7-yl)(2-chloro-5-methyl-1,8-naphthyridin-7-yl)methanol) and [Pb(L(b))(2)][Pb(CH(3)OH)(NO(3))(4)] (4), have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, MS, NMR and elemental analysis. The structural investigations revealed that the transfer of the H-atom at the central carbon to an adjacent naphthyridine-N atom affords L(1) and L(2) possessing large conjugated architectures, and the central carbon atoms adopt the sp(2) hybridized bonding mode. The reversible hydrogen transfer and a geometric configuration conversion from sp(2) to sp(3) of the central carbon atom were observed when Pb(II) and Cu(I) were coordinated to L(1) or L(2). The molecular energy changes accompanying the hydrogen migration and titration of H(+) to different receptor-N at L(1) were calculated by density functional theory (DFT) at the SCRF-B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) level in a CH(2)Cl(2) solution, and the observed lowest-energy absorption and emission for L(1) and L(2) can be tentatively assigned to an intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) transition in nature.  相似文献

The complexations of sulfasalazine (H3Suz) with some of transition metals have been investigated. Three types of complexes, [Mn(HSuz)-2(H2O)4] x 2H2O, [M(HSuz)-2(H2O)2] x xH2O (M=Hg(II), ZrO(II) and VO(II), x=4, 8 and 6, respectively) and [M(HSuz)-2(Cl)(H2O)3] x xH2O (M=Cr(III) and Y(III), x=5 and 6, respectively) were obtained and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The IR spectra of the complexes suggest that the H3Suz behaves as a bidentate ligand. The thermal decomposition of the complexes as well as thermodynamic parameters (DeltaE*, DeltaH*, DeltaS* and DeltaG*) were estimated using Coats-Redfern and Horowitz-Metzger equations. In vitro antimicrobial activities of the H3Suz and the complexes were tested.  相似文献

The reaction of nucleobases (adenine or purine) with a metallic salt in the presence of potassium oxalate in an aqueous solution yields one-dimensional complexes of formulas [M(mu-ox)(H(2)O)(pur)](n) (pur = purine, ox = oxalato ligand (2-); M = Cu(II) [1], Co(II) [2], and Zn(II) [3]), [Co(mu-ox)(H(2)O)(pur)(0.76)(ade)(0.24)](n)(4) and ([M(mu-ox)(H(2)O)(ade)].2(ade).(H(2)O))(n) (ade = adenine; M = Co(II) [5] and Zn(II) [6]). Their X-ray single-crystal structures, variable-temperature magnetic measurements, thermal behavior, and FT-IR spectroscopy are reported. The complexes 1-4 crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/a (No. 14) with similar crystallographic parameters. The compounds 5 and 6 are also isomorphous but crystallize in the triclinic space group P (No. 2). All compounds contain one-dimensional chains in which cis-[M(H(2)O)(L)](2+) units are bridged by bis-bidentate oxalato ligands with M(.)M intrachain distances in the range 5.23-5.57 A. In all cases, the metal atoms are six-coordinated by four oxalato oxygen atoms, one water molecule, and one nitrogen atom from a terminal nucleobase, building distorted octahedral MO(4)O(w)N surroundings. The purine ligand is bound to the metal atom through the most basic imidazole N9 atom in 1-4, whereas in 5 and 6 the minor groove site N3 of the adenine nucleobase is the donor atom. The crystal packing of compounds 5 and 6 shows the presence of uncoordinated adenine and water crystallization molecules. The cohesiveness of the supramolecular 3D structure of the compounds is achieved by means of an extensive network of noncovalent interactions (hydrogen bonds and pi-pi stacking interactions). Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements of the Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes in the range 2-300 K show the occurrence of antiferromagnetic intrachain interactions.  相似文献

The coordination chemistries of the potential tetradentate ligands N,N'-bis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxyphenyl)ethylenediamine, H4[L1], the unsaturated analogue glyoxal-bis(2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylanil), H2[L2], and N,N'-bis(2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)-2,2-dimethylpropylenediamine, H4[L3], have been investigated with nickel(II), palladium(II), and copper(II). The complexes prepared and characterized are [Ni(II)(H3L1)2] (1), [Ni(II)(HL2)2].5/8CH2Cl2 (2), [Ni(II)(L3**)] (3), [Pd(II)(L3**)][Pd(II)(H2L3) (4), and [Cu(II)(H2O)(L4)] (5), where (L4)2- is the oxidized diimine form of (L3)4- and (L3**)2- is the bis(o-iminosemiquinonate) diradical form of (L3)4-. The structures of compounds 1-5 have been determined by single crystal X-ray crystallography. In complexes 1 and 2, the ligands (H3L1)- and (HL2)- are tridentate and the nickel ions are in an octahedral ligand environment. The oxidation level of the ligands is that of an aromatic o-aminophenol. 1 and 2 are paramagnetic (mu(eff) approximately 3.2 mu(B) at 300 K), indicating an S = 1 ground state. The diamagnetic, square planar, four-coordinate complexes 3 and [Pd(II)(L3**)] in 4 each contain two antiferromagnetically coupled o-iminobenzosemiquinonate(1-) pi radicals. Diamagnetic [Pd(II)(H2L3)] in 4 forms an eclipsed dimer via four N-H.O hydrogen bonding contacts which yields a nonbonding Pd.Pd contact of 3.0846(4) A. Complex 5 contains a five-coordinate Cu(II) ion and two o-aminophenolate(1-) halves in (L4)2-. The electrochemistries of complexes 3 and 4a ([Pd(II)(L3**)] of 4) have been investigated, and the EPR spectra of the monocations and -anions are reported.  相似文献

Novel hexachlorocyclodiphosph(V)azane of sulfaguanidine, H(4)L, l,3-[N'-amidino-sulfanilamide]-2,2,2,4,4,4-hexachlorocyclodiphosph(V)azane was prepared and its coordination behaviour towards the transition metal ions Fe(III), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and UO(2)(II) was studied. The structures of the isolated products are proposed based on elemental analyses, IR, UV-vis, (1)H NMR, mass spectra, reflectance, magnetic susceptibility measurements and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The hyperfine interactions in the isolated complex compounds were studied using 14.4keV gamma-ray from radioactive (57)Co (M?ssbauer spectroscopy). The data show that the ligand are coordinated to the metal ions via the sulfonamide O and deprotonated NH atoms in an octahedral manner. The H(4)L ligand forms complexes of the general formulae [(MX(z))(2)(H(2)L)H(2)O)(n)] and [(FeSO(4))(2) (H(4)L) (H(2)O)(4)], where X=NO(3) in case of UO(2)(II) and Cl in case of Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II). The molar conductance data show that the complexes are non-electrolytes. The thermal behaviour of the complexes was studied and different thermodynamic parameters were calculated using Coats-Redfern method. Most of the prepared complexes showed high bactericidal activity and some of the complexes show more activity compared with the ligand and standards.  相似文献

Mesocyclic thioether-aminophosphonite ligands, {-OC10H6(mu-S)C10H6O-}PNC4H8O (2a, 4-(dinaphtho[2,1-d:1',2'-g][1,3,6,2]dioxathiaphosphocin-4-yl)morpholine) and {-OC10H6(mu-S)C10H6O-}PNC4H8NCH3 (2b, 1-(dinaphtho[2,1-d:1',2'-g][1,3,6,2]dioxathiaphosphocin-4-yl)-4-methylpiperazine) are obtained by reacting {-OC10H6(mu-S)C10H6O-}PCl (1) with corresponding nucleophiles. The ligands 2a and 2b react with (PhCN)2PdCl2 or M(COD)Cl2 (M = Pd(II) or Pt(II)) to afford P-coordinated cis-complexes, [{(-OC10H6(mu-S)C10H6O-)PNC4H8X-kappaP}2MCl2] (3a, M = Pd(II), X = O; 3b, M = Pd(II), X = NMe; 4a, M = Pt(II), X = O; 4b, M = Pt(II), X = NMe). Compounds 2a and 2b, upon treatment with [Pd(eta3-C3H5)Cl]2 in the presence of AgOTf, produce the P,S-chelated cationic complexes, [{(-OC10H6(mu-S)C10H6O-)PNC4H8X-kappaP,kappaS}Pd(eta3-C3H5)](CF3SO3) (5a, X = O and 5b, X = NMe). Treatment of 2a and 2b with (PhCN)2PdCl2 in the presence of trace amount of H2O affords P,S-chelated anionic complexes, [{(-OC10H6(mu-S)C10H6O-)P(O)-kappaP,kappaS}PdCl2](H2NC4H8X) (6a, X = O and 6b, X = NMe), via P-N bond cleavage. The crystal structures of compounds 1, 2a, 2b, 4a, and 6a are reported. Compound 6a is a rare example of crystallographically characterized anionic transition metal complex containing a thioether-phosphonate ligand. Most of these palladium complexes proved to be very active catalysts for the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction with excellent turnover number ((TON), up to 9.2 x 10(4) using complex 6a as a catalyst).  相似文献

Four bis-tetradentate N(4)-substituted-3,5-{bis[bis-N-(2-pyridinemethyl)]aminomethyl}-4H-1,2,4-triazole ligands, L(Tz1)-L(Tz4), differing only in the triazole N(4) substituent R (where R is amino, pyrrolyl, phenyl, or 4-tertbutylphenyl, respectively) have been synthesized, characterized, and reacted with M(II)(BF(4))(2)·6H(2)O (M(II) = Cu, Ni or Co) and Co(SCN)(2). Experiments using all 16 possible combinations of metal salt and L(TzR) were carried out: 14 pure complexes were obtained, 11 of which are dinuclear, while the other three are tetranuclear. The dinuclear complexes include two copper(II) complexes, [Cu(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(H(2)O)(4)](BF(4))(4) (2), [Cu(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(BF(4))(2)](BF(4))(2) (4); two nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(H(2)O)(3)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(4)·0.5(CH(3)CN) (5) and [Ni(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(H(2)O)(4)](BF(4))(4)·H(2)O (8); and seven cobalt(II) complexes, [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·H(2)O (9), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·2H(2)O (10), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz3))(H(2)O)(2)](BF(4))(4) (11), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·3H(2)O (12), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(SCN)(4)]·3H(2)O (13), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(SCN)(4)]·2H(2)O (14), and [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz3))(SCN)(4)]·H(2)O (15). The tetranuclear complexes are [Cu(II)(4)(L(Tz1))(2)(H(2)O)(2)(BF(4))(2)](BF(4))(6) (1), [Cu(II)(4)(L(Tz3))(2)(H(2)O)(2)(μ-F)(2)](BF(4))(6)·0.5H(2)O (3), and [Ni(II)(4)(L(Tz3))(2)(H(2)O)(4)(μ-F(2))](BF(4))(6)·6.5H(2)O (7). Single crystal X-ray structure determinations revealed different solvent content from that found by microanalysis of the bulk sample after drying under a vacuum and confirmed that 5', 8', 9', 11', 12', and 15' are dinuclear while 1' and 7' are tetranuclear. As expected, magnetic measurements showed that weak antiferromagnetic intracomplex interactions are present in 1, 2, 4, 7, and 8, stabilizing a singlet spin ground state. All seven of the dinuclear cobalt(II) complexes, 9-15, have similar magnetic behavior and remain in the [HS-HS] state between 300 and 1.8 K.  相似文献

Complex formation of the two tetraamine ligands (2S,3S)-1,2,3,4-tetraaminobutane (threo-tetraaminobutane, ttab) and (2R,3S)-1,2,3,4-tetraaminobutane (erythro-tetraaminobutane, etab) with Co(III), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Pd(II) was investigated in aqueous solution and in the solid state. For Ni(II) and Cu(II), the pH-dependent formation of a variety of species [Mn(II)xLyHz](2x+z)+ was established by potentiometric titrations and UV/Vis spectroscopy. In sufficiently acidic solutions the divalent cations formed a mononuclear complex with the doubly protonated ligand of composition [M(H2L)]4+. An example of such a complex was characterized in the crystal structure of [Pd(H2ttab)Cl2]Cl2.H2O. If the metal cation was present in excess, increase of pH resulted in the formation of dinuclear complexes [M2L]4+. Such a species was found in the crystal structure of [Cu2(ttab)Br4].H2O. Excess ligand, on the other hand, lead to the formation of a series of mononuclear bis-complexes [Mq(HxL)(HyL)](q+x+y)+. The crystal structure of [Co(Hetab)2][ZnCl4]2Cl. H2O with the inert, trivalent Co(III) center served as a model to illustrate the structural features of this class of complexes. By using an approximately equimolar ratio of the ligand and the metal cation, a variety of polymeric aggregates both in dilute aqueous solution and in the solid state were observed. The crystal structure of Cu2(ttab)3Br4, which exhibits a two-dimensional, infinite network, and that of [Ni8(ttab)12]Br16.17.5H2O, which contains discrete chiral [Ni8(ttab)12]16+ cubes with approximate T symmetry, are representative examples of such polymers. The energy of different diastereomeric forms of such complexes with the two tetraamine ligands were analyzed by means of molecular mechanics calculations, and the implications of these calculations for the different structures are discussed.  相似文献

Metallatriazadiphosphorine complexes corresponding to [{N(PPh2NR)2}M(OAc)] and [{N(PPh2NR)2}2M], (R = Ph or SiMe3; M = Zn, Cd or Hg) have been synthesized under strictly anhydrous and inert conditions by the reaction of the acyclic bis-silylated phosphazene ligand, [HN(PPh2NSiMe3)2], or the bis-phenylated phosphazene ligand, [HN(PPh2NPh)2], with Zn, Cd and Hg acetate in 1:1 and 2:1 molar ratios. These complexes are highly soluble in common organic solvents, but unstable hydrolytically as well as thermally, even under reduced pressure. Molecular weight determinations in benzene indicated the monomeric nature of these complexes. Further, they have been characterized on the basis of elemental analysis and spectral studies: i.r. and n.m.r. (1H, 13C and 31P) that plausibly reveal a trigonal planar and tetrahedral geometry around the metal atom in the complexes.  相似文献

Two new mixed-metal sandwich complexes [M(II)2(H2O)2Fe(III)2(P2W15O56)2]14- (abbreviated [M2Fe2P4W30], M(II) = Co(II), Mn(II)) were obtained at pH 3 by addition of M2+ to [Na2(H2O)2Fe(III)2(P2W15O56)2]16- (abbreviated [Na2Fe2P4W30]) without substitution in the alpha-[P2W15O56]12- (abbreviated [P2W15]) units. Their X-ray structures are reported. At lower pH, back conversion to [Na2Fe2P4W30] was followed by 31P NMR, electrochemistry and UV-visible spectroscopy. The preparation and the characterization in solution of the lacunary intermediate [NaCo(II)(H2O)2Fe(III)2(P2W15O56)2]15- (abbreviated [NaCoFe2P4W30]) is also described.  相似文献

Uncharged complexes, formulated as trimeric metallocycles of type [M3(L(1))3(Py)6] (where M = cobalt(II), nickel(II) and zinc(II) and L(1) is the doubly deprotonated form of a 1,4-phenylene linked bis-beta-diketone ligand of type 1,4-bis(RC(O)CH2C(O))C6H4 (R = t-Bu)) have been synthesised, adding to related, previously reported complexes of these metals with L(1) (R = Ph) and copper(ii) with L(1) (R = Me, Et, Pr, t-Bu, Ph). New lipophilic ligand derivatives with R = hexyl, octyl or nonyl were also prepared for use in solvent extraction experiments. The X-ray structures of H2L(1) (R = t-Bu) and of its trinuclear (triangular) nickel(II) complex [Ni3(L(1))3(Py)6].3.5Py (R = t-Bu) are also presented. Electrochemical studies of H2L(1), [Co3(L(1))3(Py)6], [Ni3(L(1))3(Py)6], [Cu3(L(1))3], [Zn3(L(1))3(Py)6] and [Fe4(L(1))6] (all with R = t-Bu) show that oxidative processes for the complexes are predominantly irreversible, but several examples of quasireversible behaviour also occur and support the assignment of an anodic process, seen between +1.0 and +1.6 V, as involving metal-centred oxidations. The reduction behaviour for the respective metal complexes is not simple, being irreversible in most cases. Solvent extraction studies (water/chloroform) involving the systematic variation of the metal, bis-beta-diketone and heterocyclic base concentrations have been performed for cobalt(II) and zinc(II) using a radiotracer technique in order to probe the stoichiometries of the respective extracted species. Significant extraction synergism was observed when 4-ethylpyridine was also present with the bis-beta-diketone ligand in the chloroform phase. Competitive extraction studies demonstrated a clear uptake preference for copper(II) over cobalt(II), nickel(II), zinc(II) and cadmium(II).  相似文献

The reaction of Group 12 metal dihalides MX(2) with the P,N-ligands [Fe(C(5)H(4)-PPh(2))(C(5)H(4)-2-py)] (1) (2-py = pyrid-2-yl), [Fe(C(5)H(4)-PPh(2))(C(5)H(4)-CH(2)-2-py)] (2) and [Fe(C(5)H(4)-PPh(2))(C(5)H(4)-3-py)] (3) (3-py = pyrid-3-yl) was investigated. For a 1 : 1 molar ratio of MX(2) and the respective ligand, three structure types were found in the solid state, viz. chelate, cyclic dimer and chain-like coordination polymer. The M(II) coordination environment is distorted pseudo-tetrahedral in each case. The P-M-N angle is much larger in the chelates (≥119°) than in the ligand-bridged structures (≤109°). 1 prefers the formation of chelates [MX(2)(1-κ(2)N,P)]. 3 forms coordination polymers [MX(2)(μ-3)](n). With the more flexible 2 all three structure types can occur. Dynamic coordination equilibria were observed in solution for the molecular complexes obtained with 1 and 2. NMR data indicate that the N- and P-donor sites interact most strongly with Zn(II) and Hg(II), respectively. While the formation of bis(phosphine)mercury complexes (soft-soft) was easily achieved, no bis(pyridine)zinc complex (borderline-borderline) could be obtained, which is surprising in view of the HSAB principle.  相似文献

Using the dinucleating phenol-based ligand 2,6-bis[3-(pyridin-2-yl)pyrazol-1-ylmethyl]-4-methylphenol] (HL(2)), in its deprotonated form, the six new dinuclear complexes [M(II)(2)(L(2))(μ-O(2)CMe)(2)(MeCN)(2)][PF(6)] (M = Mn (2a), Co (3a), Zn (4a)) and [M(II)(2)(L(2))(μ-O(2)CMe)(2)(MeCN)(2)][BPh(4)] (M = Mn (2b), Co (3b), Zn (4b)) have been synthesized. Crystallographic analyses on 2b·2MeCN, 3b·2MeCN, and 4b·2MeCN reveal that these complexes have closely similar μ-phenoxo bis(μ-carboxylato) structures. The physicochemical properties (absorption and ESI-MS spectral data, 2a,b, 3a,b, and 4a,b; (1)H NMR, 4a,b) of the cations of 2a-4a are identical with those of 2b-4b. Each metal ion is terminally coordinated by a pyrazole nitrogen and a pyridyl nitrogen from a 3-(pyridin-2-yl)pyrazole unit and a solvent molecule (MeCN). Thus, each metal center assumes distorted-octahedral M(II)N(3)O(3) coordination. Temperature-dependent magnetic studies on Mn(II) and Co(II) dimers reveal the presence of intramolecular antiferromagnetic (J = -8.5 cm(-1)) for 2b and ferromagnetic exchange coupling (J = +2.51 cm(-1)) for 3b, on the basis of the Hamiltonian H = -JS(1)·S(2). The exchange mechanism is discussed on the basis of magneto-structural parameters (M···M distance). Spectroscopic properties of the complexes have also been investigated. The pH titration and kinetics of phosphatase (transesterification) activity on 2-hydroxypropyl-p-nirophenylphosphate (HPNP) were studied in MeOH/H(2)O (33%, v/v) with 2a-4a, due to solubility reasons. This comparative kinetic study revealed the effect of the metal ion on the rate of hydrolysis of HPNP, which has been compared with what we recently reported for [Ni(II)(2)(L(2))(μ-O(2)CMe)(2)(MeOH)(H(2)O)][ClO(4)] (1a). The efficacy in the order of conversion of substrate to product (p-nitrophenolate ion) follows the order 4a > 3a > 2a > 1a, under identical experimental conditions. Notably, this trend follows the decrease of pK(a) values of M(II)-coordinated water (7.95 ± 0.04 and 8.78 ± 0.03 for 1a, 7.67 ± 0.08 and 8.69 ± 0.06 for 2a, 7.09 ± 0.05 and 8.05 ± 0.06 for 3a, and 6.20 ± 0.04 and 6.80 ± 0.03 for 4a). In this work we demonstrate that the stronger the Lewis acidity (Z(eff)/r) of the metal ion, the more acidic is the M(II)-coordinated water and the greater is the propensity of the metal ion to catalyze hydrolysis of the activated phosphate ester HPNP. Notably, the observed k(2) values (M(-1) s(-1)) for Mn(II) (2a, 0.152), Co(II) (3a, 0.208), and Zn(II) (4a, 0.230) complexes (1a, 0.058; already reported) linearly correlate with Z(eff)/r values of the metal ion. In each case a pseudo-first-order kinetic treatment has been done. Kinetic data analysis of complexes 2a-4a were also done following Michaelis-Menten treatment (catalytic efficiency k(cat)/K(M) values 0.170 M(-1) s(-1) for 2a, 0.194 M(-1) s(-1) for 3a and 0.161 M(-1) s(-1) for 4a; for 1a the value is 0.089 M(-1) s(-1)). Temperature-dependent measurements were done to evaluate kinetic/thermodynamic parameters for the hydrolysis/transesterification of HPNP and yielded comparable activation parameters (E(a) (kJ mol(-1)): 71.00 ± 4.60 (1a; reported), 67.95 ± 5.71 (2a), 62.60 ± 4.46 (3a), 67.80 ± 3.25 (4a)) and enthalpy/entropy of activation values (ΔH(?) (kJ mol(-1)) = 68.00 ± 4.65 (1a; reported), 65.40 ± 5.72 (2a), 60.00 ± 4.47 (3a), 65.29 ± 3.26 (4a); ΔS(?) (J mol(-1) K(-1)) = -109.00 ± 13 (1a; reported), -107.30 ± 16 (2a), -122.54 ± 14 (3a), -104.67 ± 10 (4a)). The E(a) values for all the complexes are comparable, suggesting a closely similar reaction barrier, meaning thereby similar course of reaction. The ΔS(?) values are consistent with an associative process. Positive ΔH(?) values correspond to bond breaking of the activated complex as a result of nucleophilic attack at the phosphorus atom, releasing cyclic phosphate and p-nitrophenolate ion. These data have helped us to propose a common mechanistic pathway: deprotonation of a metal-bound species to form the effective nucleophile, binding of the substrate to the metal center(s), intramolecular nucleophilic attack on the electrophilic phosphorus atom with the release of the leaving group, and possibly regeneration of the catalyst.  相似文献

A novel, and quite general, approach for the preparation of tris(heteroleptic) ruthenium(II) complexes is reported. Using this method, which is based on photosubstitution of carbonyl ligands in precursors such as [Ru(bpy)(CO)(2)Cl(2)] and [Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)(CO)(2)](PF(6))(2), mononuclear and dinuclear Ru(II) tris(heteroleptic) polypyridyl complexes containing the bridging ligands 3,5-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole (Hbpt) and 3,5-bis(pyrazin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole (Hbpzt) have been prepared. The complexes obtained were purified by column chromatography and characterized by HPLC, mass spectrometry, 1H NMR, absorption and emission spectroscopy and by electrochemical methods. The X-ray structures of the compounds [Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)(bpt)](PF(6))x0.5C(4)H(10)O [1x0.5C(4)H(10)O], [Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)(bpzt)](PF(6))xH(2)O (2xH(2)O) and [Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)(CH(3)CN)(2)](PF(6))(2)xC(4)H(10)O (6xC(4)H(10)O) are reported. The synthesis and characterisation of the dinuclear analogues of 1 and 2, [{Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)}(2)bpt](PF(6))(3)x2H(2)O (3) and [{Ru(bpy)(Me(2)bpy)}(2)bpzt](PF(6))(3) (4), are also described.  相似文献

Multidentate naphthyridine-based ligands were used to prepare a series of diiron(II) complexes. The compound [Fe(2)(BPMAN)(mu-O(2)CPh)(2)](OTf)(2) (1), where BPMAN = 2,7-bis[bis(2-pyridylmethyl)aminomethyl]-1,8-naphthyridine, exhibits two reversible oxidation waves with E(1/2) values at +310 and +733 mV vs Cp(2)Fe(+)/Cp(2)Fe, as revealed by cyclic voltammetry. Reaction with O(2) or H(2)O(2) affords a product with optical and M?ssbauer properties that are characteristic of a (mu-oxo)diiron(III) species. The complexes [Fe(2)(BPMAN)(mu-OH)(mu-O(2)CAr(Tol))](OTf)(2) (2) and [Fe(2)(BPMAN)(mu-OMe)(mu-O(2)CAr(Tol))](OTf)(2) (3) were synthesized, where Ar(Tol)CO(2)(-) is the sterically hindered ligand 2,6-di(p-tolyl)benzoate. Compound 2 has a reversible redox wave at +11 mV, and both 2 and 3 react with O(2), via a mixed-valent Fe(II)Fe(III) intermediate, to give final products that are also consistent with (mu-oxo)diiron(III) species. The paddle-wheel compound [Fe(2)(BBAN)(mu-O(2)CAr(Tol))(3)](OTf) (4), where BBAN = 2,7-bis(N,N-dibenzylaminomethyl)-1,8-naphthyridine, reacts with dioxygen to yield benzaldehyde via oxidative N-dealkylation of a benzyl group on BBAN, an internal substrate. In the presence of bis(4-methylbenzyl)amine, the reaction also produces p-tolualdehyde, revealing oxidation of an external substrate. A structurally related compound, [Fe(2)(BEAN)(mu-O(2)CAr(Tol))(3)](OTf) (5), where BEAN = 2,7-bis(N,N-diethylaminomethyl)-1,8-naphthyridine, does not undergo N-dealkylation, nor does it facilitate the oxidation of bis(4-methylbenzyl)amine. The contrast in reactivity of 4 and 5 is attributed to a difference in accessibility of the substrate to the diiron centers of the two compounds. The M?ssbauer spectroscopic properties of the diiron(II) complexes were also investigated.  相似文献

Neutral zinc, cadmium, mercury(II), and ethylmercury(II) complexes of a series of phosphinothiol ligands, PhnP(C6H3(SH-2)(R-3))3-n (n = 1, 2; R = H, SiMe3) have been synthesized and characterized by IR and NMR ((1)H, (13)C, and (31)P) spectroscopy, FAB mass spectrometry, and X-ray structural analysis. The compounds [Zn{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}] (1) and [Cd{Ph2PC6H4S-2}2] (2) have been synthesized by electrochemical oxidation of anodic metal (zinc or cadmium) in an acetonitrile solution of the appropriate ligand. The presence of pyridine in the electrolytic cell affords the mixed complexes [Zn{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}(py)] (3) and [Cd{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}(py)] (4). [Hg{Ph2PC6H4S-2}2] (5) and [Hg{Ph2PC6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3)}2] (6) were obtained by the addition of the appropriate ligand to a solution of mercury(II) acetate in methanol in the presence of triethylamine. [EtHg{Ph2PC6H4S-2}] (7), [EtHg{Ph2P(O)C6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3)}] (8), [{EtHg}2{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}] (9), and [{EtHg}2{PhP(C6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3))2}] (10) were obtained by reaction of ethylmercury(II) chloride with the corresponding ligand in methanol. In addition, in the reactions of EtHgCl with Ph2PC6H4SH-2 and with the potentially tridentate ligand PhP(C6H3(SH-2)(SiMe3-3)) 2, cleavage of the Hg-C bond was observed with the formation of [Hg{Ph2PC6H4S-2}2] (5) and [Hg(EtHg) 2{PhP(O)(C6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3))2}2] (11), respectively, and the corresponding hydrocarbon. The crystal structures of [Zn3{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}2{PhP(O)(C6H4S-2)2}] (1*), [Cd2{Ph2PC6H4S-2}3{Ph2P(O)C6H4S-2}] (2*), 3, 5, 6, [EtHg{Ph2P(O)C6H4S-2}] (7*), 8, 9, [{EtHg}2{PhP(O)(C6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3))2}] (10*), and 11 are discussed. The molecular structures of 1, 2, 4, 7, and 10 have also been studied by means of density functional theory (DFT) calculations.  相似文献

Seven diiron(II) complexes, [Fe(II)(2)(PMAT)(2)](X)(4), varying only in the anion X, have been prepared, where PMAT is 4-amino-3,5-bis{[(2-pyridylmethyl)-amino]methyl}-4H-1,2,4-triazole and X = BF(4)(-) (1), Cl(-) (2), PF(6)(-) (3), SbF(6)(-) (4), CF(3)SO(3)(-) (5), B(PhF)(4)(-) (6), and C(16)H(33)SO(3)(-) (7). Most were isolated as solvates, and the microcrystalline ([3], [4]·2H(2)O, [5]·H(2)O, and [6]·?MeCN) or powder ([2]·4H(2)O, and [7]·2H(2)O) samples obtained were studied by variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility and Mo?ssbauer methods. A structure determination on a crystal of [2]·2MeOH·H(2)O, revealed it to be a [LS-HS] mixed low spin (LS)-high spin (HS) state dinuclear complex at 90 K, but fully high spin, [HS-HS], at 293 K. In contrast, structures of both [5]·?IPA·H(2)O and [7]·1.6MeOH·0.4H(2)O showed them to be [HS-HS] at 90 K, whereas magnetic and M?ssbauer studies on [5]·H(2)O and [7]·2H(2)O revealed a different spin state, [LS-HS], at 90 K, presumably because of the difference in solvation. None of these complexes undergo thermal spin crossover (SCO) to the fully LS form, [LS-LS]. The PF(6)(-) and SbF(6)(-) complexes, 3 and [4]·2H(2)O, appear to be a mixture of [HS-LS] and [HS-HS] at low temperature, and undergo gradual SCO to [HS-HS] on warming. The CF(3)SO(3)(-) complex [5]·H(2)O undergoes gradual, partial SCO from [HS-LS] to a mixture of [HS-LS] and [HS-HS] at T(1/2) ≈ 180 K. The B(PhF)(4)(-) and C(16)H(33)SO(3)(-) complexes, [6]·(1)/(2)MeCN and [7]·2H(2)O, are approximately [LS-HS] at all temperatures, with an onset of gradual SCO with T(1/2) > 300 K.  相似文献
