We investigate Atiyah algebroids, i.e. the infinitesimal objects of principal bundles, from the viewpoint of the Lie algebraic
approach to space. First we show that if the Lie algebras of smooth sections of two Atiyah algebroids are isomorphic, then
the corresponding base manifolds are necessarily diffeomorphic. Further, we give two characterizations of the isomorphisms
of the Lie algebras of sections for Atiyah algebroids associated to principal bundles with semisimple structure groups. For
instance we prove that in the semisimple case the Lie algebras of sections are isomorphic if and only if the corresponding
Lie algebroids are, or, as well, if and only if the integrating principal bundles are locally isomorphic. Finally, we apply
these results to describe the isomorphisms of sections in the case of reductive structure groups—surprisingly enough they
are no longer determined by vector bundle isomorphisms and involve dive rgences on the base manifolds. 相似文献

It is not required that manifolds are connected nor second countable nor paracompact. This solves a problem stated by A. Weinstein. In the structure theory of quantized enveloping algebras, the algebra isomorphisms determined by Lusztig led to the first general construction of PBW bases of these algebras. Also, they have important applications to the representation theory of these and related algebras. In the present paper the Drinfel'd double for a class of graded Hopf algebras is investigated. Various quantum algebras, including small quantum groups and multiparameter quantizations of semisimple Lie algebras and of Lie superalgebras, are covered by the given definition. For these Drinfel'd doubles Lusztig maps are defined. It is shown that these maps induce isomorphisms between doubles of bosonizations of Nichols algebras of diagonal type. Further, the obtained isomorphisms satisfy Coxeter type relations in a generalized sense. As an application, the Lusztig isomorphisms are used to give a characterization of Nichols algebras of diagonal type with finite root system. 相似文献

A conjecture of Amitsur states that two Severi-Brauer varieties V(A) and V(B) are birationally isomorphic if and only if the underlying algebras A and B are the same degree and generate the same cyclic subgroup of the Brauer group. We examine the question of finding birational isomorphisms between generalized Severi-Brauer varieties. As a first step, we exhibit a birational isomorphism between the generalized Severi-Brauer variety of an algebra and its opposite. We also extend a theorem of P. Roquette to generalized Severi-Brauer varieties and use this to show that one may often reduce the problem of finding birational isomorphisms to the case where each of the separable subfields of the corresponding algebras are maximal, and therefore to the case where the algebras have prime power degree. We observe that this fact allows us to verify Amitsur’s conjecture for many particular cases. 相似文献

Abstract—In a paper published in 2008 P. A. Krylov showed that formal matrix rings Ks(R) and Kt(R) are isomorphic if and only if the elements s and t differ up to an automorphism by an invertible element. Similar dependence takes place in many cases. In this paper we consider formal matrix rings (and algebras) which have the same structure as incidence rings. We show that the isomorphism problem for formal matrix incidence rings can be reduced to the isomorphism problem for generalized incidence algebras. For these algebras, the direct assertion of Krylov’s theorem holds, but the converse is not true. In particular, we obtain a complete classification of isomorphisms of generalized incidence algebras of order 4 over a field. We also consider the isomorphism problem for special classes of formal matrix rings, namely, formal matrix rings with zero trace ideals. 相似文献

We investigate Jordan isomorphisms of triangular rings and give a sufficient condition under which they are necessarily isomorphisms or anti-isomorphisms. As corollaries we obtain generalizations of two recent results: the one concerning Jordan isomorphisms of triangular matrix algebras by Beidar, Bresar and Chebotar, and the one concerning Jordan isomorphisms of nest algebras by Lu.

Results on characterization of manifolds in terms of certain Lie algebras growing on them, especially Lie algebras of differential
operators, are reviewed and extended. In particular, we prove that a smooth (real-analytic, Stein) manifold is characterized
by the corresponding Lie algebra of linear differential operators, i.e. isomorphisms of such Lie algebras are induced by the
appropriate class of diffeomorphisms of the underlying manifolds.

Using an appropriate notion of locally convex Kasparov modules, we show how to induce isomorphisms under a large class of functors on the category of locally convex algebras; examples are obtained from spectral triples. Our considerations are based on the action of algebraic K-theory on these functors, and involve compatibility properties of the induction process with this action, and with Kasparov-type products. This is based on an appropriate interpretation of the Connes–Skandalis connection formalism. As an application, we prove Bott periodicity and a Thom isomorphism for algebras of Schwartz functions. As a special case, this applies to the theories kk for locally convex algebras considered by Cuntz. 相似文献

Given a symmetrizable generalized Cartan matrix A, for any index k, one can define an automorphism associated with A, of the field Q(u1,…, un) of rational functions of n independent indeterminates u1,…,un.It is an isomorphism between two cluster algebras associated to the matrix A (see sec. 4 for the precise meaning). When A is of finite type, these isomorphisms behave nicely; they are compatible with the BGP-reflection functors of cluster categories defined in a previous work if we identify the indecomposable objects in the categories with cluster variables of the corresponding cluster algebras, and they are also compatible with the "truncated simple reflections" defined by Fomin-Zelevinsky. Using the construction of preprojective or preinjective modules of hereditary algebras by DIab-Ringel and the Coxeter automorphisms (i.e. a product of these isomorphisms), we construct infinitely many cluster variables for cluster algebras of infinite type and all cluster variables for finite types. 相似文献

We consider finite-dimensional complex Lie algebras. Using certain complex parameters we generalize the concept of cohomology cocycles of Lie algebras. A special case is generalization of 1-cocycles with respect to the adjoint representation - so called (α,β,γ)-derivations. Parametric sets of spaces of cocycles allow us to define complex functions which are invariant under Lie isomorphisms. Such complex functions thus represent useful invariants - we show how they classify three and four-dimensional Lie algebras as well as how they apply to some eight-dimensional one-parametric nilpotent continua of Lie algebras. These functions also provide necessary criteria for existence of 1-parametric continuous contraction. 相似文献

In this paper, we categorify a Hom-associative algebra by imposing the Homassociative law up to some isomorphisms on the multiplication map and requiring that these isomorphisms satisfy the Pentagon axiom, and obtain a 2-Hom-associative algebra. It is a known open question whether in Rosinger’s nowhere dense quotient algebra distributions can be embedded, ensuring consistency with partial derivatives. In this paper, we construct algebras of generalized functions with nowhere dense singularities similar to Rosinger’s algebra in which such an embedding of distributions is possible. Moreover, in some of the algebras, the embedding preserves the products of smooth functions. Further, we indicate that most of the properties of Rosinger’s algebra, in particular concerning the solvability of nonlinear PDEs, remain valid in the new algebras. Summarizing, we give a positive answer to the above-mentioned open question, if one allows a modification in the definition of the algebra that does not affect its basic properties. 相似文献
