SrBi2−xPrxNb2O9 (x=0, 0.04 and 0.2) ceramics were prepared by a solid state reaction method. X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that single-phase layered perovskite structure ferroelectrics were obtained. A relaxor behavior of frequency dispersion was observed among Pr-doped SrBi2Nb2O9. The degree of frequency dispersion ΔT increased from 0 for x=0-7 °C for x=0.2, and the extent of relaxor behavior γ increased from 0.94 for x=0-1.45 for x=0.2. The substitution of Pr ions for Bi3+ ions in the Bi2O2 layers resulted in a shift of the Curie point to lower temperatures and a decrease in remanent polarization. In addition, the coercive field 2Ec reduced from 110 kV/cm for an undoped specimen to 90 kV/cm for x=0.2.  相似文献

We examine the ferroelectric-relaxor behavior of (Ba0.65Sr0.35)(Zr0.35Ti0.65)O3 (BSZT) ceramics in the temperature range from 80 to 380 K. A broad dielectric maximum, which shifts to higher temperature with increasing frequency, signifies the relaxor-type behavior of these ceramics. The value of the relaxation parameter γ∼2 estimated from the linear fit of the modified Curie-Weiss law, indicates the relaxor nature of the BSZT ceramics. The dielectric relaxation rate follows the Vogel-Fulcher relation with TVF=107 K, Ea=0.121 eV, and ν0=6.83×1014 Hz, further supports such relaxor nature. The slim P-E hysteresis loop and ‘butterfly’ shape dc bias field dependence of permittivity at T>Tm (Tm, the temperature of permittivity maximum) clearly signifies the occurrence of nanopolar clusters, which is the typical characteristic of ferroelectric relaxor. At 300 K and 10 kHz, the dielectric constant and loss tan δ are ∼1100 and 0.0015, respectively. The high tunability (∼25%) and figure of merit (∼130) at room temperature show that the BSZT ceramics could be a promising candidate for tunable capacitor applications.  相似文献

To study the factors affecting the dielectric and piezoelectric properties of bismuth-containing complex perovskites, the solid solution (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xBi(Mg2/3Nb1/3)O3 was prepared by the solid state reaction method and its dielectric and piezoelectric properties were investigated. It is found that (1) at room temperature, the nonlinearity of the DE-loop for Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 is completely suppressed at a rather low x (<5%); (2) dielectric constant versus temperature curves deviate from the Curie-Weiss law at a temperature Td much higher than the dielectric constant peak temperature Tm and TmTd decreases considerably with increasing x; and (3) frequency dispersion ΔTm=Tm (1 MHz)−Tm (10 kHz) increases with increasing x. Possible factors responsible for the variation of the dielectric and piezoelectric properties with x are discussed.  相似文献

Dielectric permittivities (ε′,ε″) have been measured as functions of temperature (140-535 K) and frequency (500 Hz-2.0 MHz) in a (001)-cut Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)0.7Ti0.3O3 (PINT30%) single crystal grown by the modified Bridgman method with Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 (PMNT29%) seed crystal. A diffused phase transition was observed in the temperature region of ∼430-460 K with strong frequency dispersion. Above the Burns temperature TB≅510 K, the dielectric permittivity was found to follow the Curie-Weiss behavior, ε′=C/(TTC), with parameters C=3.9×105 and TC=472 K. Below TB≅510 K, polar nanoclusters are considered to appear and are responsible for the diffused dielectric anomaly. Optical transmission, refractive indices, and the Cauchy equations were obtained as a function of wavelength at room temperature. The unpoled crystal shows almost no birefringence, indicating that the average structural symmetry is optically isotropic. The crystal exhibits a broad transparency in the wavelength range of ∼0.4-6.0 μm.  相似文献

Tungsten bronze (TB)-type oxide ceramic Pb0.74K0.13Y0.13Nb2O6 (PKYN) has been synthesized by the standard solid state reaction method. Single phase formation, orthorhombic crystal structure was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The substitution of Y3+ in Pb0.74K0.52Nb2O6 (PKN) decreased the unit cell volume and TC=260 °C. PKYN exhibited the remnant polarization, Pr=8.5 μC/cm2, and coercive field, Ec=28.71 kV/cm. Electrical spectroscopy studies were carried out over the temperature (35-595 °C) and frequency (45 Hz-5 MHz) ranges, and the charge carrier phenomenon, grain-grain boundary contribution and non-Debye-type relaxation were analyzed. The relaxation species are immobile charges in low temperature and oxygen vacancies at higher temperature. The theoretical values computed using the relations, ε′=ε+sin(n(T)π/2)(a(T)/ε0)(ωn(T)−1); σ(ω)=σdc+Aωn are fitted with the experimental one. The n and A parameters suggested that the charge carrier's couple with the soft mode and become mobile at TC. The activation enthalpy, Hm=0.38 eV, has been estimated from the hopping frequency relation ωp=ωe exp(−Hm/kBT). The piezoelectric constants Kt=35.4%, d33=69×10−12 C/N, d31=−32×10−3 mV/N, S11E=17.8 pm2/N, etc., achieved in PKYN indicate the material is interesting for transducer applications. The activation energies from different formalisms confirmed the ionic-type conduction.  相似文献

The dispersion curves of the dielectric response in single crystal NH4H2PO4 were obtained in the radio frequency range and below the high-temperature transition at Tp−160 °C. The results reveal dielectric relaxation at low frequency, which is about 105 Hz at 70 °C, and it shifts to higher frequencies (∼3×106 Hz) as the temperature increases. The relaxation frequency was determined from the peak obtained in the imaginary part of the permittivity as well as from the derivative of the real part of the permittivity. The activation energy Ea=0.55 eV, obtained from the relaxation frequency is very close to that derived from the dc conductivity. We suggest that this dielectric relaxation could be due to the proton jump and phosphate reorientation that cause distortion and change the local lattice polarizability inducing dipoles like   相似文献

0.65Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3-0.35PbTiO3 (PINT65/35) (starting composition) single crystals were grown successfully through the solution Bridgman technique using PbO flux and PMNT67/33 seed crystals. Because of the composition variation, the final composition of achievable crystals is in a range of 0.32-0.34 with the corresponding Tc range of 265-269 °C. The (001) plates of as-grown PINT66/34 single crystals show high Curie temperature (Tc=269 °C) and rhombohedral-tetragonal phase transition temperature (Trt=134 °C). Besides, good electrical properties with high dielectric constant (ε>3000), low dielectric loss (tan δ∼1.2%), high piezoelectric constant (d33∼2000 pC/N) and large electromechanical coupling factor (kt≈59%) at room temperature have been obtained on the (001) plates. The sound velocity, acoustic impedance and other piezoelectric parameters were also measured on the (001) plates in this study, which provide us more detailed information about PINT66/34 single crystals.  相似文献

The (Pb0.90La0.10)Ti0.975O3/PbTiO3 (PLT/PT), PbTiO3/(Pb0.90La0.10)Ti0.975O3/PbTiO3 (PT/PLT/PT) multilayered thin films with a PbOx buffer layer were in situ deposited by RF magnetron sputtering at the substrate temperature of 600 °C. With this method, highly (1 0 0)-oriented PLT/PT and PT/PLT/PT multilayered thin films were obtained. The PbOx buffer layer leads to the (1 0 0) orientation of the films. The dielectric, ferroelectric and pyroelectric properties of the PLT multilayered thin films were investigated. It is found that highly (1 0 0)-oriented PT/PLT/PT multilayered thin films possess higher remnant polarization 2Pr (44.1 μC/cm2) and better pyroelectric coefficient at room temperature p (p = 2.425 × 10−8 C/cm2 K) than these of PLT and PLT/PT thin films. These results indicate that the design of the PT/PLT/PT multilayered thin films with a PbOx buffer layer should be an effective way to enhance the dielectric, ferroelectric and pyroelectric properties. The mechanism of the enhanced ferroelectric properties was also discussed.  相似文献

The effect of K+ ions on GdTaO4:Eu3+ thin-film phosphors was investigated in order to improve their luminescent properties. The GdTaO4:Eu0.1, Kx thin films were synthesized by sol-gel process, and characterized through measuring their microstructure and luminescence. The results indicated that photoluminescence (PL) intensity of GdTaO4:Eu3+ film was improved remarkably by K doping. There were two maxima in the curve of PL intensity against K+ dopant concentration, where one was improved up to 2.1 times at x = 0.001 and the other was enhanced up to 2.7 times at x = 0.05. The first maximum was regarded as the alteration of the local environment surrounding the Eu3+ activator by incorporation of K+ ions, and the second maximum was due to the flux effect. Additionally, the luminescence increased with the increase of firing temperature from 800 °C to 1200 °C.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline nickel-zinc ferrite thin films with the general formula Ni1−xZnxFe2O4, where x=0.0, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 were fabricated via a chemical route known as the citrate precursor route. These films were spin-deposited on indium-tin oxide coated glass, fused quartz and amorphous Si-wafer substrates, and annealed at various temperatures up to 650 °C. The films annealed below 400 °C were found to be X-ray amorphous, while the films annealed at and above 400 °C were polycrystalline exhibiting a single-phase spinel structure. The average grain size of the films evaluated by transmission electron microscopy, is found to be in the range 4-8.5 nm. The room temperature DC resistivity of the films is in the range 103-107 Ω m. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss were measured in the frequency range 100 Hz-1 MHz. Dielectric constant of the films is found to lie between 25 and 44, while the loss factor is if the order of 10−2. The higher values of the dielectric constant for films having higher zinc concentration are attributable to the enhanced hopping between Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions in these samples. The M-H hysteresis measurement of the nickel ferrite thin films annealed at 650 °C showed narrow hysteresis loop—a characteristic of soft ferromagnetic material.  相似文献

The electrical properties of a single crystal of KTiOPO4 was studied by impedance spectroscopy methods in the temperature range –100 to 100 °C. The complex resistivity decreases rapidly with increasing temperature, and resistivity dispersion begins at a temperature of TS=-80 °C. The complex resistivity was fitted to the superposition of two Cole-Cole-type relaxations. The low frequency relaxation is associated with the electrode/crystal surface, while the high frequency relaxation is interpreted as resulting from ion migration in the bulk. It is believed that high frequency relaxation is related to ionic hopping conduction, which arises mainly from the jumping of K+ ions. The activation energies associated with hopping conduction are Ea0.21 eV above TS and Ea0.11 eV below TS . PACS 77.22.-d; 77.22.Gm; 66.10.Ed; 77.84.-s; 66.30.Hs  相似文献

A novel set of glasses of the type (B2O3)0.10-(P2O5)0.40-(CuO)0.50−x-(MoO3)x, 0.05≤x≥0.50, have been investigated for dielectric properties in the frequency range 100 Hz-100 kHz and temperature range 300-575 K. From the total conductivity derived from the dielectric spectrum the frequency exponent, s, and dc and ac components of the conductivity were determined. The temperature dependence of dc and ac conductivities at different frequencies was analyzed using Mott's small polaron hopping model, and the high temperature activation energies have been estimated and discussed. The observed initial decrease in conductivity (ac and dc) and increase in activation energy with the addition of MoO3 have been understood to be due to the hindrance offered by the Mo+ ions to the electronic motions. The observed peak-like behavior in conductivity (dip-like behavior in activation energy) in the composition range 0.20-0.50 mol fractions of MoO3 may be due to mixed transition effect occurring in the present glasses. The temperature dependence of frequency exponent, s, has been analyzed using different theoretical models. It is for the first time that the mixed transition metal ion (TMI) doped borophosphate glasses have been investigated for dielectric properties and conductivity over wide temperature and frequency ranges and the data have been subjected to a thorough analysis.  相似文献

Anatase phase TiO2 films have been grown on fused silica substrate by pulsed laser deposition technique at substrate temperature of 750 °C under the oxygen pressure of 5 Pa. From the transmission spectra, the optical band gap and linear refractive index of the TiO2 films were determined. The third-order optical nonlinearities of the films were measured by Z-scan method using a femtosecond laser (50 fs) at the wavelength of 800 nm. The real and imaginary parts of third-order nonlinear susceptibility χ(3) were determined to be −7.1 × 10−11esu and −4.42 × 10−12esu, respectively. The figure of merit, T, defined by T=βλ/n2, was calculated to be 0.8, which meets the requirement of all-optical switching devices. The results show that the anatase TiO2 films have great potential applications for nonlinear optical devices.  相似文献

Lead-free (K0.5Na0.5)0.90Li0.06Sr0.02Nb(1−x)SbxO3 (KNLSN-Sbx) ceramics were synthesized by ordinary sintering technique. The compositional dependence of phase structure and electrical properties of the ceramics was systematically investigated. All samples possessed pure perovskite structure, showing room temperature symmetries of orthorhombic at x<0.01, coexistence of orthorhombic and tetragonal phases at x=0.01, and tetragonal at 0.02≤x≤0.05. The temperature of the polymorphic phase transition (PPT) was shifted to lower temperature and dielectric relaxor behavior was induced by increasing Sb content. The samples near the coexistence region (x=0.01) exhibited enhanced electrical properties: d33∼145 pC/N, kp∼38% and Pr∼20.4 μC/cm2.  相似文献

We report on large negative magnetoresistance observed in ferromagnetic thiospinel compound CuCrZrS4. The electrical resistivity increased with decreasing temperature according to the exp(T0/T)1/2, an expression derived from variable range hopping with strong electron-electron interaction. The resistivity under a magnetic field was expressed by the same form with the characteristic temperature T0 decreasing with increasing magnetic field. Magnetoresistance ratio ρ(T,0)/ρ(T,H) is 1.5 for H=90 kOe at 100 K and increases divergently with decreasing temperature reaching 80 at 16 K. Results of magnetization measurements are also presented. A possible mechanism of the large magnetoresistance is discussed.  相似文献

Gold (Au) diffusion in superconducting Bi1.8Pb0.35Sr1.9Ca2.1Cu3Oy was investigated over the temperature range 500-800 °C by the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technique. It is found that the Au diffusion coefficient decreases as the diffusion-annealing temperature decreases. The temperature dependences of Au diffusion coefficient in grains and over grain boundaries are described by the relations D1=6.7×10−5exp(−1.19 eV/kBT) and D2=9.7×10−4exp(−1.09 eV/kBT), respectively. The diffusion doping of Bi-2223 by Au causes a significant increase of the lattice parameter c by about 0.19%. For the Au-diffused samples, dc electrical resistivity and transport critical current density measurements indicated the critical transition temperature increased from 100 to 104 K and the critical current density increased from 40 to 125 A cm−2, in comparison with those of undoped samples. From scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements it is observed that Au doping of the sample also improved the surface morphology and increased the ratio of the high-Tc phase to the low-Tc phase. The possible reasons for the observed improvement in microstructure and superconducting properties of the samples due to Au diffusion are also discussed.  相似文献

Neutron powder diffraction studies showed that the ordered perovskites Ba2BiSbO6 (BBS) and BaSrBiSbO6 (BSBS) crystallize in a rhombohedral structure with the space group R3¯. The room-temperature lattice parameters are a=6.0351(2) Å; α=60.202(1)° and a=5.9809(2) Å; α=60.045(2)°, respectively. BBS exhibits a dielectric anomaly near room temperature which may be related to structural transition from the R3¯ to low-temperature monoclinic I2/m symmetry. BSBS shows a dielectric anomaly near 723 K which coincides with a phase transition from the rhombohedral to cubic (Fm3¯m) structure. In contrast to BBS, BSBS does not undergo structural transition below room temperature.  相似文献

The mixed electronic-ionic conduction in 0.5[xAg2O-(1−x)V2O5]-0.5TeO2 glasses with x=0.1-0.8 has been investigated over a wide temperature range (70-425 K). The mechanism of dc conductivity changes from predominantly electronic to ionic within the 30?mol% Ag2O?40 range; it is correlated with the underlying change in glass structure. The temperature dependence of electronic conductivity has been analyzed quantitatively to determine the applicability of various models of conduction in amorphous semiconducting glasses. At high temperature, T>θD/2 (where θD is the Debye temperature) the electronic dc conductivity is due to non-adiabatic small polaron hopping of electrons for 0.1?x?0.5. The density of states at Fermi level is estimated to be N(EF)≈1019-1020 eV−1 cm−3. The carrier density is of the order of 1019 cm−3, with mobility ≈2.3×10−7-8.6×10−9 cm2 V−1 s−1 at 300 K. The electronic dc conductivity within the whole range of temperature is best described in terms of Triberis-Friedman percolation model. For 0.6?x?0.8, the predominantly ionic dc conductivity is described well by the Anderson-Stuart model.  相似文献

Thin films of samples of the glassy SxSe100−x system with 0 ≤ x ≤ 7.28 have been prepared by thermal evaporation technique at room temperature (300 K). X-ray investigations show that the structure of pure selenium (Se) does change seriously by the addition of small amount of sulphur S ≤7.28%. The lattice parameters were determined as a function of sulphur content. Results of differential thermal analysis (DTA) of the glassy compositions of the system SxSe100−x were discussed. The characteristic temperatures (Tg, Tc and Tm) were evaluated. Dark electrical resistivities, ρ, of SxSe100−x thin films with different thicknesses from 100 to 500 nm, were measured in the temperature range from 300 to 423 K. Two distinct linear parts with different activation energies were observed. The variation of electrical resistivity of examined compositions has been discussed as a function of the film thickness, temperature and the sulphur content. The application of Mott model for the phonon assisted hopping of small polarons gave the same two activation energies obtained from the resistivity temperature calculations.  相似文献

The DC and AC conductivities of samples from the system (As2S3)100−x(AsSe0.5Te0.5I)x, where x=0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 50, 70 and 90 mol%, were measured as a function of temperature. Besides, the AC conductivities of the samples with x=10 and 30 were measured as a function of frequency from room temperature to the glass transition temperature. The DC conductivity dependence on temperature is of the Arrhenius type, whereas the value of the pre-exponential factor suggests the electrical conduction by localized states in the band tails and by localized states near the Fermi level. The small values of the conduction activation energy (10−2-10−1 eV) obtained at higher frequencies suggest that the conduction in these materials is due to hopping of charge carriers between close defect states near the Fermi level.  相似文献
