Bismuth sodium barium titanate/poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene) 70/30 [(Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3-P(VDF-TrFE)] 0-3 composites were prepared by a hot-press method for different volume fractions of (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3 ceramic powder in a P(VDF-TrFE) 70/30 copolymer matrix. The relative permittivity and dielectric loss of the composites increased with increase in the volume fraction of the ceramics, which well follows the Bruggeman model. The polarization responses of the composites were strongly dependent on the ceramic volume fraction. The composites with a higher ceramic volume fraction showed an increase in remanent polarization. At room temperature, a 0.3(Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3-0.7P(VDF-TrFE) composite showed a relative permittivity εr=30, remanent polarization and coercive field   相似文献

(Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TixO1+2x lead-free piezoceramics with x varying from 0.97 to 1.03 were fabricated and characterized in order to investigate the effects of TiO2-nonstoichiometry on the piezoelectric properties and depolarization temperature of (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3 composition. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed that all samples have a single phase of perovskite structure with rhombohedral symmetry. Piezoelectric and dielectric measurements revealed that deficiency of TiO2 leads to an increase in the piezoelectric coefficient (d33), free relative permittivity (), and loss tangent (tan δ) besides an increase in the electromechanical coupling coefficient (kp) within a certain amount, while excess of TiO2 results in a decrease in kp, d33, and , but an increase in tan δ. Depolarization temperature (Td) measurement indicated a decrease and an increase in Td as a result of increasing TiO2 deficiency and TiO2 excess, respectively. This TiO2-nonstoichiometry also induced changes in the remanent polarization (Pr) and coercive field (Ec) of the ceramics.  相似文献

(Na1−xKx)0.5Bi0.5TiO3 (NKBT) (x = 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3) thin films with good surface morphology and rhombohedral perovskite structure were fabricated on quartz substrates by a sol-gel process. The fundamental optical constants (the band gaps, linear refractive indices and absorption coefficients) of the films were obtained through optical transmittance measurements. The nonlinear optical properties were investigated by Z-scan technique performed at 532 nm with a picosecond laser. A two-photon absorption effect closely related with potassium-doping content was found in thin films, and the nonlinear refractive index n2 increases evidently with potassium-doping. The real part of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility χ(3) is much larger than its imaginary part, indicating that the third-order optical nonlinear response of the NKBT films is dominated by the optical nonlinear refractive behavior. These results show that NKBT thin films have potential applications in nonlinear optics.  相似文献

SrBi2−xPrxNb2O9 (x=0, 0.04 and 0.2) ceramics were prepared by a solid state reaction method. X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that single-phase layered perovskite structure ferroelectrics were obtained. A relaxor behavior of frequency dispersion was observed among Pr-doped SrBi2Nb2O9. The degree of frequency dispersion ΔT increased from 0 for x=0-7 °C for x=0.2, and the extent of relaxor behavior γ increased from 0.94 for x=0-1.45 for x=0.2. The substitution of Pr ions for Bi3+ ions in the Bi2O2 layers resulted in a shift of the Curie point to lower temperatures and a decrease in remanent polarization. In addition, the coercive field 2Ec reduced from 110 kV/cm for an undoped specimen to 90 kV/cm for x=0.2.  相似文献

Bi4Ti3O12 (BiT), Bi3.25La0.75Ti3O12 (BLT), Bi4−x/3Ti3−xNbxO12 (BTN) and Bi3.25−x/3La0.75Ti3−xNbxO12 (BLTN) thin films have been prepared by pulsed laser deposition. BTN and BLTN films exhibit a maximum in the remanent polarization Pr at a Nb content x=0.018. At this Nb content, the BLTN film has a Pr value (25 μC/cm2) that is much higher than that of BiT and a coercive field similar to that of BiT. The polarization of this BLTN film is fatigue-free up to 109 switching cycles. The high fatigue resistance is mainly due to the substitution of Bi3+ ions by La3+ ions at the A site and the enhanced Pr arises largely from the replacement of Ti4+ ions by Nb5+ ions at the B site. The mechanisms behind the effects of the substitution at the two sites are discussed.  相似文献

Highly c-axis oriented lanthanum-modified bismuth titanate (Bi4−xLaxTi3O12) films having a variety of lanthanum (La) contents were grown on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si(100) substrates using metal-organic sol deposition and subsequent annealing at 650 °C for 1 h. After systematically examining the ferroelectric properties of Bi4−xLaxTi3O12 films as a function of the La-content, it was concluded that the film with x=0.85 had the largest remanent polarization in the direction parallel to the c-axis. The Pt/Bi3.15La0.85Ti3O12/Pt capacitor showed a well-saturated polarization-electric field (P-E) switching curve with the switching remanent polarization (2Pr) value of 33 μC/cm2 and the coercive field (Ec) of 68 kV/cm at an applied voltage of 10 V. More importantly, the capacitor exhibited fatigue-free behavior up to 6.5×1010 read/write switching cycles at a frequency of 1 MHz. The capacitor also demonstrated an excellent charge-retaining ability and a strong resistance against the imprinting failure.  相似文献

Highly c-axis oriented neodymium-modified bismuth titanate (Bi4−xNdxTi3O12) films having a variety of neodymium (Nd) contents were successfully grown on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si(100) substrates using metal-organic sol decomposition. After systematically examining ferroelectric properties of the c-axis oriented Bi4−xNdxTi3O12 film capacitors as a function of the Nd-content, we concluded that the capacitor with x=0.85 had the largest remanent polarization. The Bi3.15Nd0.85Ti3O12 capacitor fabricated using a top Pt electrode showed well-saturated polarization-electric field (P-E) switching curves with the remanent polarization (Pr) of 51 μC/cm2 and the coercive field (Ec) of 99 kV/cm at an applied voltage of 10 V. More importantly, the Pt/Bi3.15Nd0.85Ti3O12/Pt capacitor exhibited fatigue-free behavior up to 4.5×1010 read/write switching cycles at a frequency of 1 MHz. The capacitor also demonstrated an excellent charge-retaining ability and a strong resistance against the imprinting failure.  相似文献

Dielectric permittivities (ε′,ε″) have been measured as functions of temperature (140-535 K) and frequency (500 Hz-2.0 MHz) in a (001)-cut Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)0.7Ti0.3O3 (PINT30%) single crystal grown by the modified Bridgman method with Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 (PMNT29%) seed crystal. A diffused phase transition was observed in the temperature region of ∼430-460 K with strong frequency dispersion. Above the Burns temperature TB≅510 K, the dielectric permittivity was found to follow the Curie-Weiss behavior, ε′=C/(TTC), with parameters C=3.9×105 and TC=472 K. Below TB≅510 K, polar nanoclusters are considered to appear and are responsible for the diffused dielectric anomaly. Optical transmission, refractive indices, and the Cauchy equations were obtained as a function of wavelength at room temperature. The unpoled crystal shows almost no birefringence, indicating that the average structural symmetry is optically isotropic. The crystal exhibits a broad transparency in the wavelength range of ∼0.4-6.0 μm.  相似文献

In this article, we report successful preparation of dense [(Na0.5K0.5)1−xSrx](Nb1−xTix)O3 (x=0.005-0.100) ceramics by ordinary sintering in air. The dependence of phase structure on doping content of SrO and TiO2 has been determined by the X-ray diffraction technique. It was found that the crystal structure changed from orthorhombic to tetragonal at x≈0.040. Dielectric study revealed that the dielectric relaxor behavior was induced by doping of SrO and TiO2 into (Na0.5K0.5)NbO3. The samples in the composition range from x=0.005 to 0.020 exhibited excellent electrical properties, piezoelectric constant of electromechanical planar and thickness coupling coefficients of kp=26.6-32.5% and kt=39.8-43.8%. The results show that the [(Na0.5K0.5)1−xSrx](Nb1−xTix)O3 ceramics are one of the promising lead-free materials for electromechanical transducer applications.  相似文献

The structural and magnetic properties of Cr1+x(Se1−yTey)2 having a NiAs structure has been studied for (1+x)=1.27, 1.32 and 1.36 and y=0.75 by means of the Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker (KKR) band structure method. The sub-stoichiometry and the disorder on the chalcogenide sub-lattice has been treated by means of the coherent potential approximation (CPA) alloy theory. From total energy calculations a preferential site occupation on the Cr sub-lattice was found together with an antiparallel alignment of the magnetic moments on the two inequivalent Cr layers. The magnetic properties at finite temperature has been studied by means of Monte Carlo simulations on the basis of a classical Heisenberg Hamiltonian and the exchange coupling parameters calculated from first principles. This approach allowed to determine the critical temperature in good agreement with experiment.  相似文献

The co-existence of ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties at room temperature is very rarely observed. We have been successful in converting ferroelectric PbTiO3 into a magnetoelectric material by partly substituting Fe at the Ti site. The Pb(FexTi1−x)O3 system exhibits ferroelectric and ferromagnetic ordering at room temperature. Even more remarkably, our results demonstrate a coupling between the two order parameters. Hence it could be a futuristic material to provide cost effective and simple path for designing novel electromagnetic devices.  相似文献

Mixed thin films of (CdO)1−x(PbO)x and (CdS)1−x(PbS)x (x=0.25) were prepared on glass substrates by spray pyrolysis technique for various substrate temperatures 300, 320 and 340 °C. Structural and optical properties were studied. XRD studies reveal the formation of mixed films. The substrate temperature of 340 °C seems to be critical for the formation of CdO-PbO mixed films. It is observed that (CdS)1−x(PbS)x mixed films were formed at all the three substrate temperatures. The direct band gap value of (CdO)1−x(PbO)x and (CdS)1−x(PbS)x mixed films is about 2.6 and 2.37 eV, respectively.  相似文献

We report electron-spin resonance (ESR) measurements in polycrystalline samples of (Gd1−xYx)2PdSi3. We observe the onset of a broadening of the linewidth and of a decrease of the resonance field at approximately twice the Néel temperature in the paramagnetic state. This characteristic temperature coincides with the electrical resistivity minimum. The high-temperature behavior of the linewidth is governed by a strong bottleneck effect.  相似文献

Lead-free (K0.5Na0.5)0.90Li0.06Sr0.02Nb(1−x)SbxO3 (KNLSN-Sbx) ceramics were synthesized by ordinary sintering technique. The compositional dependence of phase structure and electrical properties of the ceramics was systematically investigated. All samples possessed pure perovskite structure, showing room temperature symmetries of orthorhombic at x<0.01, coexistence of orthorhombic and tetragonal phases at x=0.01, and tetragonal at 0.02≤x≤0.05. The temperature of the polymorphic phase transition (PPT) was shifted to lower temperature and dielectric relaxor behavior was induced by increasing Sb content. The samples near the coexistence region (x=0.01) exhibited enhanced electrical properties: d33∼145 pC/N, kp∼38% and Pr∼20.4 μC/cm2.  相似文献

High-k Ti1−xSixO2 gate dielectric layers were prepared at room temperature by RF magnetron sputtering using SiO2 and TiO2 targets to investigate their applicability to transparent thin-film transistors as well as metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors. Based on XRD and XPS analyses, it was found that, regardless of the deposition time, the Ti1−xSixO2 gate dielectric layers had more stable Si-based phases with stronger Si-O bonds with increasing SiO2 RF power. As SiO2 RF power increased, the capacitance of the dielectric layers decreased due to the higher fraction of the Si-based phases, and the leakage current decreased, dominantly because of the decrease in oxygen vacancies due to the formation of stoichiometric SiO2. The Ti1−xSixO2 gate dielectric layers exhibited high transparency above 80% and moderate bandgap of 4.1-4.2 eV, which can be applied to transparent thin-film transistors.  相似文献

0.65Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3-0.35PbTiO3 (PINT65/35) (starting composition) single crystals were grown successfully through the solution Bridgman technique using PbO flux and PMNT67/33 seed crystals. Because of the composition variation, the final composition of achievable crystals is in a range of 0.32-0.34 with the corresponding Tc range of 265-269 °C. The (001) plates of as-grown PINT66/34 single crystals show high Curie temperature (Tc=269 °C) and rhombohedral-tetragonal phase transition temperature (Trt=134 °C). Besides, good electrical properties with high dielectric constant (ε>3000), low dielectric loss (tan δ∼1.2%), high piezoelectric constant (d33∼2000 pC/N) and large electromechanical coupling factor (kt≈59%) at room temperature have been obtained on the (001) plates. The sound velocity, acoustic impedance and other piezoelectric parameters were also measured on the (001) plates in this study, which provide us more detailed information about PINT66/34 single crystals.  相似文献

The ErxY1−xF3 (x=0.1, 0.2, 0.7, 0.9, 1) solid solutions were synthesized and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and magnetic measurements. The crystal structure refinements done by the Rietveld profile method show that no significant change of the structure parameters with the erbium concentration occurs. On the basis of DC susceptibility measurements in the 2-300 K range the lowest four crystal field levels have been determined, giving the ground level magnetic moment value of 6.7 μB. Results of M(H) studies point to the presence of complex exchange interactions between erbium ions.  相似文献

The magnetic property of double doped manganite Nd0.5(1+x)Ca0.5(1−x)Mn(1−x)CrxO3 with a fixed ratio of Mn3+:Mn4+=1:1 has been investigated. For the undoped sample, it undergoes one transition from charge disordering to charge ordering (CO) associated with paramagnetic (PM)-antiferromagnetic (AFM) phase transition at T<250 K. The long range AFM ordering seems to form at 35 K, rather than previously reported 150 K. At low temperature, an asymmetrical M-H hysteresis loop occurs due to weak AFM coupling. For the doped samples, the substitution of Cr3+ for Mn3+ ions causes the increase of magnetization and the rise of Tc. As the Cr3+ concentration increases, the CO domain gradually becomes smaller and the CO melting process emerges. At low temperature, the FM superexchange interaction between Mn3+ and Cr3+ ions causes a magnetic upturn, namely, the second FM phase transition.  相似文献

The specific heat (C) of bi-layered manganites La2−2xSr1+2xMn2O7 (x=0.3 and 0.5) is investigated for the ground state of low temperature excitations. A T3/2 dependent term in the low temperature specific heat (LTSH) is identified at zero magnetic field and suppressed by magnetic fields for x=0.3 sample, which is consistent with a ferromagnetic metallic ground state. For x=0.5 sample, a T2 term is observed and is consistent with a two-dimensional (2D) antiferromagnetic insulator. However, it is almost independent of magnetic field within the range of measured temperature (0.6-10 K) and magnetic field (6 T).  相似文献
