The time dependences of the transfer of the magnetic moment between stable magnetic states of heterostructures with two Pt/Co/Ir/Co/Pt ferromagnetic layers with the perpendicular magnetization have been studied. Spontaneous oscillations of the macroscopic magnetization with a period of several hours are observed after switching the magnetic field to a new value. The phase portrait of the magnetic relaxation corresponds to damped oscillations. The macrospin oscillation may be due to the high nucleation rate of the reverse magnetization phase induced by the exchange and magnetic dipole interaction between the phase nucleation centers, which arise in different layers. The changes in the Zeeman energy of the system under magnetic oscillations are considered.  相似文献

本文详细研究了在不同氧化层和铁磁层厚度情况下, 底层CoFeB/AlOx/Ta结构和 顶层AlOx/CoFeB/Ta结构中的垂直磁各向异性. 在底层CoFeB/AlOx/Ta结构中观察到了垂直磁化的磁滞回线, 证明了其垂直易磁化效应的存在; 而在顶层AlOx/CoFeB/Ta结构中却没有观察到类似的磁滞回线. 对这种对称结构中的非对称现象进行了分析. 研究还发现不同的氧化层和铁磁层厚度均会影响层间界面相互作用的强度, 从而导致结构的垂直磁化曲线矫顽力大小发生改变. 这项研究将对基于AlOx氧化层垂直磁隧道结的研制具有重要的意义. 关键词: 垂直磁各向异性 磁隧道结 随机存储器  相似文献

The magnetic properties of the Gd---Er system (with erbium concentrations ranging from 0 to 62 at%) were investigated at temperatures between 4.2 and 350 K under external magnetic fields up to 1 T. The results show that, similar to other rare-earth systems, simple ferromagnetism prevails for concentrations with a de Gennes factor G higher than about 11.5 (≈ 30 at % Er) while complex magnetic structures are present for higher Er concentrations (G ≤ 11.5. The magnetic transition temperature decreases with increasing Er content, showing good agreement with phenomenological expectations. In the paramagnetic region, the Curie constant of the alloy corresponds to the linear combination of the constituent elements' contribution, thus proving that both Gd and Er maintain their individual magnetic moments. From magnetization data below the transition, the change in magnetic entropy for a 1 T field was calculated and this showed distinct differences between ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transitions and antiferromagnetic transitions. The Landau theory of second-order phase transitions can be well applied for evaluating the thermodynamic transition temperature and the specific heat anomaly in the ferromagnetic alloys but it fails for the more complex structures if the applied field is not far higher than the critical field. The magnetic entropy change displays well defined peaks at the transition temperature for both ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic alloys. There is an indication that the spin-reorientation transition occurring in alloys with higher Er concentrations is also coupled with significant magnetic entropy changes.  相似文献

The magnetic arrangement in the vicinity of the interface between a ferromagnet and an antiferromagnet is investigated, in particular its dependence on the exchange couplings and the temperature. Applying a Heisenberg model, both sc(001) and fcc(001) lattices are considered and solved by a mean field approximation. Depending on the parameter values a variety of different magnetic configurations emerge. Usually the subsystem with the larger ordering temperature induces a magnetic order into the other one (magnetic proximity effect). With increasing temperature a reorientation of the magnetic sublattices is obtained. For coupled sc(001) systems both FM and AFM films are disturbed from their collinear magnetic order, hence exhibit a similar behavior. This symmetry is absent for fcc(001) films which, under certain circumstances, may exhibit two different critical temperatures. Analytical results are derived for simple bilayer systems.  相似文献

The superconducting and magnetic properties of the (Fe/Cr/Fe)/V/Fe layered system with variable thickness of the chromium layer have been experimentally and theoretically studied. The magnetic properties of the system have been studied by the ferromagnetic resonance method, and the superconducting transition temperature has been measured from the jump in the magnetic susceptibility. A wide variety of magnetic states are observed in the system; in particular, the structure of small domains can arise in the iron layer placed between vanadium and chromium. It has been shown experimentally that the critical temperature Tc of the superconducting transition undergoes nonmonotonic oscillations with a noticeable amplitude in the given system with the change in the thickness of the Cr layer. The proposed model based on the proximity effect theory makes it possible to relate these Tc oscillations to the features of the magnetic structure of the samples.  相似文献

We report a magnetoelectric effect in the double perovskite CaMn7O12, that shows a complex magnetic behavior below 90 K with two magnetic phases coexisting (one ferrimagnetic and the other modulated). A second magnetic transition, associated with changes in the magnetic modulation and magnetic ordering coherence lengths of the two magnetic phases occurs at 50 K (TN2). A detailed structural characterization of this compound, that we have carried out by means of high-resolution X-ray powder diffraction, reveals an anisotropic thermal expansion of its lattice parameters at 50 K (TN2). In addition, our study of the complex permittivity of this sample as a function of temperature, frequency and magnetic field shows very interesting results below 90 K and specially below 50 K: the dielectric constant εr that was decreasing continuously on cooling experiences an upturn, and even more, on application of a magnetic field it shows a moderate magnetoelectric response. We attribute such dielectric behavior to the formation of electric dipoles by magnetostriction in this charge and spin ordered system, that are sensible to the presence of an external magnetic field.  相似文献

We have investigated the magnetic transition and magnetocaloric effects of Mn 1+x Co 1 x Ge alloys by tuning the ratio of Mn/Co.With increasing Mn content,a series of first-order magnetostructural transitions from ferromagnetic to paramagnetic states with large changes of magnetization are observed at room temperature.Further increasing the content of Mn (x=0.11) gives rise to a single second-order magnetic transition.Interestingly,large low-field magnetic entropy changes with almost zero magnetic hysteresis are observed in these alloys.The effects of Mn/Co ratio on magnetic transition and magnetocaloric effects are discussed in this paper.  相似文献

A multilayer Pt/Co/Ir/Co/Pt/GaAs heterostructures demonstrates a long term (to several hours) magnetic relaxation between two stable states of the magnetization of the system. The magnetization reversal of the heterostructure layers occurs both due to the formation of nuclei of the reverse magnetization domains and as a result of their further growth by means of motion of domain walls. The competition between two these processes provides a nonexponential character of the magnetic relaxation. At 300 K, the contributions of these processes to the relaxation are commensurable, while, at temperatures lower than 200 K, the contribution of the nucleation is suppressed and the magnetic relaxation occurs as a result of motion of the domain walls.  相似文献

利用不变本征算符法, 计算低温下自旋为1/2的XY模型一维亚铁磁棱型链系统的元激发谱, 讨论在此系统中不同的特殊情形下的元激发能量, 从而给出体系的三个临界磁场强度的解析解HC1, HC2, Hpeak. 分析不同外磁场下 体系的磁化强度随温度的变化规律, 发现三个临界磁场强度的解析解HC1, HC2, Hpeak是正确的, 并从三个元激发对磁化强度的贡献进行了说明. 低温下磁化强度随外磁场的变化呈现1/3磁化平台. 体系的磁化率随温度或者外磁场的变化都出现了双峰现象. 这说明双峰源于二聚体分子内电子自旋平行排列的铁磁交换作 用能和二聚体与单基体分子间电子自旋反平行排列的反铁磁交换作用能, 热无序能, 外磁场强度相关的自旋磁矩势能之间的竞争.  相似文献

Precise neutron diffraction experiments performed on powdered antiferromagnetic garnet Ca3Mn2Ge3O12 lead to a complex non collinear magnetic structure. In the absence of magnetic field, it is three dimensional with eight spin directions and belongs to 1I41/a. At a critical magnetic field spin-flop mechanism occurs with a lowering of the magnetic symmetry which becomes triclinic. In addition to tetragonal anisotropy, both single ion orthorhombic anisotropy and its antisymmetrical counterpart for definite pairs of ions are required to explain both the observed structure and its behaviour in a magnetic field.  相似文献

Using magnetometry during preparation in UHV, magnetic moments and magnetic anisotropies were measured for Ni (111)-films on Re (0001), and followed during coating by Cu (111). 4 or more layers of Cu (111) resulted in a reduction of magnetic moment by 0.6 monolayer equivalents, in accordance with theoretical predictions, and in a decrease of the magnetic interface anisotropy field by 5.1 Tesla.  相似文献

Magnetic phase transitions in coupled magnetic sandwiches of Cu/Co/Cu/Ni/Cu(100) and Cu/Co/Fe/Ni/Cu(100) are investigated by photoemission electron microscopy. Element-specific magnetic domains are taken at room temperature to reveal the critical thickness at which the magnetic phase transition occurs. The results show that a coupled magnetic sandwich undergoes three types of magnetic phase transitions depending on the two ferromagnetic films' thickness. A phase diagram is constructed and explained in the process of constructing Monte Carlo simulations, which corroborate the experimental results.  相似文献

The effect of annealing in an external magnetic field applied perpendicular to the plane of the film on the kinetics of Ll 0 phase transformation of the microstructure and the magnetic properties of the Fe(2 nm)/FePt(20 nm)/Pt(2 nm) multilayer system has been investigated. The relations between the hysteresis loop shape, magnetic correlation length, and structural disorders, which are characteristic of magnetic information carriers, have been analyzed. It has been found that the annealing of the Fe(2 nm)/FePt(20 nm)/Pt(2 nm) multilayer system at a temperature of 470°C in an external magnetic field of 3500 Oe, which is applied perpendicular to the film plane, leads to the formation of a face-centered tetragonal structure of the Ll 0 phase in the FePt film, which is characterized by the high coercivity H c , the (001) preferred texture, the magnetic anisotropy perpendicular to the film plane, small sizes of FePt grains in the film, and weak exchange coupling between the particles. The energy of the external magnetic field encourages the process of transformation of the FePt film into the Ll 0 phase. Thus, a method has been developed for fabricating multilayer films based on the FePt Ll 0 phase with the parameters necessary for information carrier materials with perpendicular-type magnetic recording.  相似文献

采用Monte Carlo 方法,研究铁磁/反铁磁双层膜中的磁锻炼效应.结果表明,反铁磁层中冷场诱发的界面净磁化(钉扎效应)的磁弛豫可导致系统中的交换偏置场的磁锻炼效应.进一步研究表明,反铁磁层中掺杂可调控交换偏置场的磁锻炼效应,原因在于反铁磁层中掺杂能有效地改变冷场诱发的净磁化的磁弛豫过程.  相似文献

The element-specific magnetic structure of an epitaxially grown Mn_52Pd_48/Fe bilayer showing exchange bias was investigated with atomic-layer depth sensitivity at the antiferromagnet/ferromagnet interface by soft-x-ray magnetic circular dichroism and magnetic reflectivity. A complex magnetic interfacial configuration, consisting of a 2-monolayer-thick induced ferromagnetic region, and pinned uncompensated Mn moments that reach far deeper (approximately 13 A), both in the antiferromagnet, were found. For the latter, a direct relationship with the magnitude of the exchange bias is verified by similar measurements perpendicular to the field cooling direction.  相似文献

La0.8Sr0.2Co1−xFexO3 (x=0.15, 0.2, 0.3) samples were studied by means of AC magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, magnetoresistance and 57Fe Mössbauer spectrometry. Iron was found to take on a high spin 3d5−α electronic state in each of the samples, where α refers to a partly delocalized 3d electron. The compounds were found to exhibit a spin-cluster glass transition with a common transition temperature of ∼53 K. The spin-cluster glass transition is visualized in the 57Fe Mössbauer spectra as the slowing down of magnetic relaxation below ∼70 K, thereby showing that iron takes part in the formation of the glassy magnetic phase. The paramagnetic-like phase found at higher temperatures is identified below Tc≈195 K as being composed of weakly interacting, magnetically ordered nanosized clusters of magnetic ions in part with a magnetic moment oriented opposite to the net magnetic moment of the cluster. For each of the samples a considerable low-temperature negative magnetoresistance was found, whose magnitude in the studied range decreases with increasing iron concentration. The observed results obtained on the present compounds are qualitatively explained assuming that the absolute strengths of magnetic exchange interactions are subject to the relation ∣JCo–Co∣<∣JFe–Co∣<∣JFe–Fe∣.  相似文献

Polycrystalline perovskite La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 was synthesized by a sol–gel method. Its adiabatic temperature change ΔTad induced by a magnetic field change was measured directly. At 268 K, near its Curie temperature TC, ΔTad of La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 induced by a magnetic field change of 2.02 T reaches 2.4 K. The latent heat Q and magnetic entropy change −ΔSM induced by a magnetic field change were calculated from the temperature dependence of ΔTad and zero-field heat capacity Cp. The maximum values of Q and −ΔSM in La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 induced by a magnetic field change of 2.02 T are 1.85 J g−1 and 6.9 J kg−1 K−1, respectively. The former is larger than the phase transition latent heat of heating or cooling, which is about 1.70 J g−1.  相似文献

通过交流磁化率、电阻、有无磁场下的预相变应变、磁致伸缩和磁化强度测量,系统研究了近正配分比Ni505Mn245Ga25单晶的预马氏体相变特性.在自由样品中观察到预马氏体相变应变.在预相变点,沿[010]方向施加大小约为80kA/m的磁场,在晶体母相的[001]方向上获得了高达505ppm的磁致伸缩,该值是相同条件下晶体母相磁致伸缩量的5倍多.同时,报道了不同方向磁场对预相变应变干预的结果.利用软模凝结的概念和依据单晶生长的特点,分析了预相变应变产生的机理.而磁场干预预相变应变的机理是磁场增大的磁弹耦合导致的晶格形变与材料内禀形变的竞争.利用磁性测量结果证实和解释了预相变过程中[001]和[010]轴方向间进一步增大的各向异性.进而对磁场沿[001]和[010]两个晶体学方向所导致的应变特性的差别,包括最大磁致伸缩、饱和预相变应变、饱和场等,进行了分析和讨论. 关键词: 预马氏体相变 应变 磁致伸缩 磁弹耦合  相似文献

In order to investigate the Ru sublattice magnetic structure, a study of the field dependence of the 99,101Ru nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) has been carried out on the magnetic superconductor RuSr2GdCu2O8. It is found that the 99,101Ru NMR signal intensity increases significantly with applied magnetic field up to ≈3 kOe, beyond which, it progressively decreases. In addition, a shift of the NMR peaks to lower frequency is observed to begin at ≈1.3 kOe. These behaviors are shown to be accompanied by a field-induced Ru moment spin-flop in the ab planes, and are understood in terms of a previously proposed type-I antiferromagnetic ordering for the Ru sublattice. Based on this model, the inter-plane antiferromagnetic exchange coupling is determined to be ≈1.8 kOe along with a reversible in-plane spin-flop which is characterized by a field ≈0.6 kOe.  相似文献
