Orbifold groupoids have been recently widely used to represent both effective and ineffective orbifolds. We show that every orbifold groupoid can be faithfully represented on a continuous family of finite dimensional Hilbert spaces. As a consequence we obtain the result that every orbifold groupoid is Morita equivalent to the translation groupoid of an almost free action of a proper bundle of topological groups.  相似文献

The diamond group G is a solvable group, semi-direct product of R with a (2n+1)-dimensional Heisenberg group Hn. We consider this group as a first example of a semi-direct product with the form R?N where N is nilpotent, connected and simply connected.Computing the moment sets for G, we prove that they separate the coadjoint orbits and its generic unitary irreducible representations.Then we look for the separation of all irreducible representations. First, moment sets separate representations for a quotient group G of G by a discrete subgroup, then we can extend G to an overgroup G+, extend simultaneously each unitary irreducible representation of G to G+ and separate the representations of G by moment sets for G+.  相似文献

Summary For a simply connected solvable Lie group we specify the structure of the product, the inverse and the exponential map expressed in suitable coordinates (canonical coordinates of the second kind), and point out that in these coordinates the product and inverse are expressed entirely in terms of polynomials, exponential functions and trigonometric functions. We devise algorithms for computing the product, the inverse and the exponential map.  相似文献

In this paper we determine all iseomorphic pairs (isomorphic pairs with monotonic, thus continuous isomorphisms) of continuous, strictly increasing, linearly homogeneous functions defined on cartesian squares I 2 and J 2 of intervals of positive numbers or on their restrictions or and or We prove that, if the iseomorphy is nontrivial, then each homogeneous function is a (weighted) geometric or power mean or a joint pair of such means. In functional equations terminology this means that all nontrivial continuous strictly increasing linearly homogeneous solutions G, H (with the continuous strictly monotonic F also unknown) of the equation on D < or D > are weighted geometric or power means, while on I 2 they are joint pairs of weighted geometric means or of weighted power means.  相似文献

We prove that if rational measures are used on p-adic reductive groups then the orbital integrals of any given smooth and compactly supported complex valued function belong to the field generated by the values of that function. We also show that the Shalika germs are then rational valued functions. As a consequence, we are able to show, in certain cases, that the coefficients appearing in the Harish-Chandra local character expansion are rational numbers. Research supported by NSERC  相似文献

In this paper it is proved that if T: AX is a topological functor satisfying certain conditions, then there is a Galois Connection between the class of bireflective subcategories of A and the class of epireflective subcategories of A that are not bireflective and that are contained in the subcategory of separated objects of A. The results of Kashiwara and Vergne on the decomposition of the tensor products of the Segal-Shale-Weil representation are extended to the infinite dimensional case and give all unitary lowest weight representations. Using a new definition of rank for representations of semisimple groups sharp results are proved for the decay of matrix coefficients of unitary representations of two types of non-split p-adic simple algebraic groups of exceptional type. These sharp bounds are achieved by minimal representations. It is also shown that in one of the cases considered, the minimal representation is isolated in the unitary dual.  相似文献

Any étale Lie groupoid G is completely determined by its associated convolution algebra Cc(G) equipped with the natural Hopfalgebroid structure. We extend this result to the generalized morphisms between étale Lie groupoids: we show that any principal H-bundle P over G is uniquely determined by the associated Cc(G)-Cc(H)-bimodule Cc(P) equipped with the natural coalgebra structure. Furthermore, we prove that the functor Ccgives an equivalence between the Morita category of étale Lie groupoids and the Morita category of locally grouplike Hopf algebroids.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to build a modeling and pricing framework to investigate the sustainability of the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) program in the United States under realistic economic scenarios, i.e., whether the premium payments cover the fair premiums for the inherent risks in the HECM program. We note that earlier HECM models use static mortality tables, neglecting the dynamics of mortality rates and extreme mortality jumps. The earlier models also assume housing prices follow a geometric Brownian motion, which contradicts the fact that housing prices exhibit strong autocorrelation and varying volatility over time. To solve these problems, we propose a generalized Lee-Carter model with asymmetric jump effects to fit the mortality data, and model the house price index via an ARIMA-GARCH process. We then employ the conditional Esscher transform to price the non-recourse provision of reverse mortgages and compare it with the calculated mortgage insurance premiums. The HECM program turns out to be sustainable based on our model setup and parameter settings.  相似文献

The Kostka–Foulkes polynomials related to a root system can be defined as alternating sums running over the Weyl group associated to . By restricting these sums over the elements of the symmetric group when is of type or , we obtain again a class of Kostka–Foulkes polynomials. When is of type or there exists a duality between these polynomials and some natural -multiplicities and in tensor products [11]. In this paper we first establish identities for the which implies in particular that they can be decomposed as sums of Kostka–Foulkes polynomials with nonnegative integer coefficients. Moreover these coefficients are branching coefficients This allows us to clarify the connection between the -multiplicities and the polynomials defined by Shimozono and Zabrocki. Finally we show that and coincide up to a power of with the one dimension sum introduced by Hatayama and co-workers when all the parts of are equal to , which partially proves some conjectures of Lecouvey and Shimozono and Zabrocki.Presented by P.
