Excitation functions have been measured for 62Ni(α, p)65Cu in the energy range 6.5–9.0 MeV, for 41K(p, α)38Ar in the range 0.8–2.6 MeV, for 41K(p, γ)42Ca, 41K(p, αγ)38Ar, 41K(p, nγ)41Ca, and 41K(p, p'γ)41 in the range 0.6–4.0 MeV, and for 41K(p, n)41Ca from threshold to 3.0 MeV. Cross sections have been extracted from the data and these are compared with statistical-model calculations based on global optical model parameters. Alternative parameter sets have been tried for the 62Ni(α, p)65Cu data and published data for 62Ni(α, γ)66Zn and 62Ni(α, n)65Zn, and both these and the global parameters have been used in statistical-model calculations of 65Cu(p, γ)66Zn, 65Cu(p, n)65Zn and 65Cu(p, α)62Ni cross sections, which are compared with published data for these reactions. Both the global and the alternative parameters lead to very good agreement with experiment for all six reactions. Alternative parameters have been tried for the 41K + p reactions also. The global parameters lead to agreement to within a factor of 2 and the alternative parameters lead to agreement to within a factor of 1.3. The 41K + p alternative parameters are used in calculations of 41Ca(n, γ)42Ca, 41Ca(n, p)41K and 41Ca(n, α)38Ar cross sections, and these and the experimental 41K + p data are used in calculations of thermonuclear reaction rates under stellar conditions for the 41Ca + n and 41K + p reactions. 相似文献

The results from experimental and theoretical studies of the total and partial cross sections of photoneutron reactions on
the 197Au isotope were analyzed. The cross sections for reactions σ(γ, nX) = σ(γ, n) + σ(γ, np) + … + σ(γ, 2nX) = σ(γ, 2n) + σ(γ, 2np) + … were evaluated in the energy range 7 ≤ E
γ ≤ 30 MeV using an approach free of the shortcomings of experimental photoneutron multiplicity sorting methods. The total
photoneutron reaction cross sections σexp(γ, xn) = σexp(γ, nX) + 2σexp(γ, 2nX) + … = σexp(γ, n) + σexp(γ, np) + 2σexp(γ, 2n) + 2σexp(γ, 2np) + … were used as the initial experimental data. The contributions from the cross sections σ(γ, nX) and σ(γ, 2nX) to the cross sections σexp(γ, xn) were separated using the multiplicity transition functions F

In the present work we report on a new measurement of resonance strengths ωγ in the reaction 25Mg(p, γ)26Al at Ecm=92 and 189 keV. This study was performed at the LUNA facility in the Gran Sasso underground laboratory using a 4π BGO summing crystal. For the first time the 92 keV resonance was directly observed and a resonance strength ωγ=(2.9±0.6)×10−10 eV was determined. Additionally, the γ-ray branchings and strength of the 189 keV resonance were studied with a high resolution HPGe detector yielding an ωγ value in agreement with the BGO measurement, but 20% larger compared to previous works. 相似文献

In this work, the program Cindy was modified to calculate the formation cross section of each energy level of residual nucleus 181W resulting from the reaction 181Ta(p,nγ)181W. The concerned cross sections calculated at proton energy Ep=4.5-8.5 MeV agreed well with experimental results. The influence of the spin cut-off parameter in the energy level density model on the cross section was studied. The obtained results show that the influence of spin cut-off is obvious for lower energy levels. 相似文献

Elastic scattering angular distributions of 16O + 12C in the center of mass energy range from 8.55 MeV to 56.57 MeV have been analyzed considering the effect of the exchange of an alpha particle between projectile and target leading to the same nuclei of the entrance channel (elastic-transfer). An alpha particle spectroscopic factor for the ground state of the 16O was determined. 相似文献

A relevant problem in the statistical and mathematical physics literature is to derive numerically accurate expressions to calculate Lévy α-stable distributions . On the formal side, important exact results rely on special functions, such as Meijer-G, Fox-H and finite sums of hypergeometric functions, with only a few exceptional cases expressed in terms of elementary functions. Hence, from a more practical point of view, methods such as series expansions are in order, e.g., to allow for the estimation of the Lévy distribution with high numerical precision, even though most of the existing approaches are restricted to a subset of the distribution parameters and/or usually demand relatively time-consuming sophisticated algorithms. Here we present a rather simple truncated expansion for the case of symmetric Lévy distributions (). This is achieved by dividing the full range of integration into windows, performing proper series expansion inside each, and then calculating the integrals term by term. The obtained representation is convergent for any . Moreover, its accuracy is directly controlled by the number of terms in the truncated expression, being straightforward to implement numerically. As we show with different examples, for almost all allowable α's the calculations lead to with reasonable low absolute error for computationally inexpensive simulations. 相似文献

In this paper, the optical absorption spectra of Yb3+ in the α-Al2O3 crystal are reasonably explained by using the superposition model and local lattice structure analysis. Based on these studies, we find that the local geometrical structure around the Yb3+ ions possesses an elongated trigonal distortion above the O2−-triangle and a compressed trigonal distortion in the lower one. 相似文献

As a further step in obtaining high performance elevated temperature self-lubrication anti-wear composite coatings on TiAl alloy, a novel Ni-P electroless plating method was adopted to encapsulate the as-received CaF2 in the preparation of precursor NiCr-Cr3C2-CaF2 mixed powders with an aim to decrease its mass loss and increase its compatibility with the metal matrix during a Nd:YAG laser cladding. The microstructure of the coating was examined using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and the friction and wear behavior of the composite coatings sliding against the hardened 0.45% C steel ring was evaluated using a block-on-ring wear tester at room temperature. It was found that the coating had a unique microstructure consisting of primary dendrites TiC and block Al4C3 carbides reinforcement as well as fine isolated spherical CaF2 solid lubrication particles uniformly dispersed in the NiCrAlTi (γ) matrix. The good friction-reducing and anti-wear abilities of the laser clad composite coating was suggested to the Ni-P electroless plating and the attendant reduction of mass loss of CaF2 and the increasing of it's wettability with the NiCrAlTi (γ) matrix during the laser cladding process. 相似文献

Infrared absorption cross sections for propane have been measured in the 3 μm spectral region from spectra recorded using a high-resolution FTIR spectrometer (Bruker IFS 125 HR). The spectra of mixtures of propane with dry synthetic air were recorded at 0.015 cm−1 resolution (calculated as 0.9/MOPD using the Bruker definition of resolution), at a number of temperatures and pressures appropriate for atmospheric conditions. Intensities were calibrated using two propane spectra (recorded at 278 and 293 K) taken from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) IR database. 相似文献

UV-vis spectra, XRD, H2-TPR, TEM and ESR were used to characterize a series of Cu/γ-Al2O3 catalysts, which were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation using copper nitrate, copper acetate or copper sulfate as precursors, to study the role of Cu species on Cu/γ-Al2O3 catalysts for NH3-SCO reaction. It was found that the mixture of CuO phase and CuAl2O4 phase formed on various Cu/γ-Al2O3 catalysts, and the Cu species and dispersion had significant influence on the Cu/γ-Al2O3 activity. Highly dispersed CuO phase on the support would be related with its high activity for the NH3-SCO reaction. 相似文献

Isomeric yield ratios of 115m,g
Cd and 120m,g
Sb were measured in the (γ, n) reaction in the near-threshold region at γ-ray energies of 9.6, 9.8, 10.0, and 10.5 MeV. Experimental
values of the isomeric yield ratios were compared with theoretical values calculated using the TALYS-1.0 program package.

Tachyonic spectral densities of ultra-relativistic electron populations are fitted to the γ-ray spectra of two TeV blazars, the BL Lacertae objects 1ES 0229+200 and 1ES 0347-121. The spectral maps are compared to Galactic TeV sources, the γ-ray binary LS 5039 and the supernova remnant W28. In contrast to TeV photons, the extragalactic tachyon flux is not attenuated by interaction with the cosmic background light; there is no absorption of tachyonic γ-rays via pair creation, as tachyons do not interact with infrared background photons. The curvature of the observed γ-ray spectra is intrinsic, caused by the Boltzmann factor of the electron densities, and reproduced by a tachyonic cascade fit. In particular, the curvature in the spectral map of the Galactic microquasar is more pronounced than of the two extragalactic γ-ray sources. Estimates of the thermodynamic parameters of the thermal or, in the case of supernova remnant W28, shock-heated nonthermal electron plasma generating the tachyon flux are obtained from the spectral fits. 相似文献

A combined analysis of experimental data on total and partial photoneutron reaction cross sections, obtained using bremsstrahlung
γ-radiation and quasi-monoenergetic annihilation photon beams, was performed for nine Sn isotopes. The partial reactions σeval(γ, nX) and σeval(γ, 2nX) cross sections were evaluated using an approach free of the shortcomings of experimental neutron multiplicity sorting methods.
This approach involves calculations within the photonuclear reaction model, based on Fermi gas densities and considering the
effects of nucleus deformation, the isospin splitting of its giant dipole resonance (GDR), and experimental data on the total
photoneutron cross sections σexp(γ, xn) = σexp(γ, nX) + 2σexp(γ, 2nX) = σexp(γ, n) + σexp(γ, np) + … + 2σexp(γ, 2n) + 2σexp(γ, 2np) + …. The evaluated σeval(γ, nX) and σeval(γ, 2nX) reactions cross sections were obtained using the introduced transition multiplicity functions F
theor = σtheor(γ, 2nX)/σtheor(γ, xn) = σtheor(γ, 2nX)/[σtheor(γ, nX) + 2σtheor(γ, 2nX) + …]; and σeval.(γ, 2nX) = F
theor.σexp.(γ, xn) = σeval(γ, nX) = (1 − 2F
theor)σexp(γ, xn). The evaluated partial reaction cross sections were used to assess the total photoneutron reaction cross sections σeval(γ, sn) = σeval(γ, nX) + σeval(γ, 2nX) + … as functions of the mass number A. The GDR features of 112, 114, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 122, 124Sn isotopes were studied and are discussed here. 相似文献

State-to-state integral cross sections and rate constants for the N+(3P)+HD→NH+/ND++D/H reaction: Accurate quantum dynamics studies 下载免费PDF全文

The reactive collisions of nitrogen ion with hydrogen and its isotopic variations have great significance in the field of astrophysics. Herein, the state-to-state quantum time-dependent wave packet calculations of N$^{+}$($^{3}$P)$+{rm HD}to {rm NH}^{+}$/ND$^{+} +{rm D/H}$ reaction are carried out based on the recently developed potential energy surface [Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. 21 22203 (2019)]. The integral cross sections (ICSs) and rate coefficients of both channels are precisely determined at the state-to-state level. The results of total ICSs and rate coefficients present a dramatic preference on the ND$^{+}$ product over the NH$^{+}$ product, conforming to the long-lived complex-forming mechanism. Product state-resolved ICSs indicate that both the product molecules are difficult to excite to higher vibrational states, and the ND$^{+}$ product has a hotter rotational state distribution. Moreover, the integral cross sections and rate coefficients are precisely determined at the state-to-state level and insights are provided about the differences between the two channels. The present results would provide an important reference for the further experimental studies at the finer level for this interstellar chemical reaction. The datasets presented in this paper, including the ICSs and rate coefficients of the two products for the title reaction, are openly available at https://www.doi.org/10.57760/sciencedb.j00113.00034. 相似文献

The influence of isotope substitution of neon atom on the integral cross sections of rotational excitation in Ne-Na2 collisions 下载免费PDF全文
This paper applies the multiple ellipsoid model to the 16 Ne (20 Ne,28 Ne,34 Ne)-Na 2 collision systems, and calculates integral cross sections for rotational excitation at the incident energy of 190 meV.It can be seen that the accuracy of the integral cross sections can be improved by increasing the number of equipotential ellipsoid surfaces. Moreover,by analysing the differences of these integral cross sections,it obtains the change rules of the integral cross sections with the increase of rotational angular quantum number J,and with the change of the mass of isotope substitution neon atom. Finally, the contribution of different regions of the potential to inelastic cross sections for 20 Ne-Na 2 collision system is investigated at relative incident energy of 190 meV. 相似文献

It has proven to be very difficult to determine the astrophysically important cross section for 12C(α, γ)16O at the relevant energies (∼300 keV) from radiative capture measurements. The present paper summarizes a new measurement of the β-delayed α-spectrum of 16N that substantially improves our knowledge of the E1 α-capture cross section on 12C at 300 keV. The paper concludes with a brief discussion of the status of the total 12C(α, γ)16O cross section at 300 keV. 相似文献
