Higher-order asymptotic expansions for renormalization constants and critical exponents of the O(n)-symmetric 4 theory are found based on the instanton approach in the minimal subtraction scheme for the (4–)-dimensional regularization. The exactly known expansion terms differ substantially from their asymptotic values. We find expressions that improve the asymptotic expansions for unknown expansion terms of the renormalization constants.  相似文献

In the standard 4(O n ) model, a critical regime in which the coupling constantg of the 4 decreases as a certain given power as T-T c0 is considered. From the point of view of physics, such a formulation of the problem corresponds to a certain class of trajectories of approach to the triple point in the two-dimensional plane of the physical parameters of the system. It is shown that in such a modified critical regime all the critical dimensions can be expressed in terms of the specified value of the exponent and the ordinary critical dimensions of the 4 model known in the form of 4- expansions.Leningrad State University. In this paper we consider families of distinct ovals in the plane, with the property that certain subfamilies have stabbing lines (transversals). Our main result says that if any k member of the family can be stabbed by a line avoiding all the other ovals and k is large enough, then the family consists of at most k+1 ovals. For any n4 we show a family of n ovals, whose n–2 element subfamilies have, but the n–1 element subfamilies do not have, transversals.  相似文献

Algorithms based on statistical models compete favorably with other global optimization algorithms as shown by extensive testing results. A theoretical inadequacy of previously used statistical models for smooth objective functions was eliminated by the authors who, in a recent paper, have constructed a P-algorithm for a statistical model for smooth functions. In the present paper, a modification of that P-algorithm with an improved convergence rate is described.  相似文献

Our goal in this article is to complete the study of the behavior of solutions of the equation in the title when the parameter p is positive and the initial conditions are arbitrary positive numbers. Our main focus is the case 0 < p < 1. We will show that in this case, all solutions which do not monotonically converge to the equilibrium have a subsequence which converges to p and a subsequence which diverges to infinity. For the sake of completeness, we will also present the results (which were previously known) with alternative proofs for the case p = 1 and the case p > 1.  相似文献

We describe the sections of U(2n)/Sp(s) over S4n−1 in terms of the sections of the symplectic Stiefel manifold Sp(n)/Sp(s) and we express the orders of obstructions to sectioning U(2n)/Sp(s) in terms of orders of obstructions to sectioning Sp(n)/Sp(s). Using the representation for renormalization group functions in terms of nonsingular integrals, we calculate the dynamical critical exponents in the model of critical dynamics of ferromagnets in the fourth order of the ε-expansion. A construction of a pair of strongly regular graphs n and n of type L 2n–1(4n–1) from a pair of skew-symmetric association schemes W, W of order 4n–1 is presented. Examples of graphs with the same parameters as n and n, i.e., of type L 2n–1(4n–1), were known only if 4n–1=p 3, where p is a prime. The first new graph appearing in the series has parameters (v, k, )=(225, 98, 45). A 4-vertex condition for relations of a skew-symmetric association scheme (very similar to one for the strongly regular graphs) is introduced and is proved to hold in any case. This has allowed us to check the 4-vertex condition for n and n, thus to prove that n and n are not rank three graphs if n>2.  相似文献

The random walk to be considered takes place in the δ-spherical dual of the group U(n + 1), for a fixed finite dimensional irreducible representation δ of U(n).
