Modified α and β bis(salicylaldoxime)copper(Ⅱ) have been obtained by recrystallization from ethyl acetate(CCDC Nos. 212157 & 212158). The X-ray analysis reveals that the two modificated forms have the same structure with different geometric parameters. The α form crystallizes in the P2(1)/c space group and the β form in the P1 space group. Both the crystal structures consist of centrosymmetric monomeric molecules of Cu(OC6H4CNOH)2. The IR spectra are in agreement with the structural data. 相似文献

Hydrolysis of DNA is an important enzymatic reaction , but it is exceedingly difficult to mimic in the laboratory because of the stability of hydrolysis of DNA. In this paper, the cleavage activity of complexes formed between Cu(Ⅱ) and four different amino acid or amino acid methyl ester on DNA is studied by gel elec-trophoresis. It is found that DNA could be cleaved by Cu(Ⅱ)-L-His and Cu(Ⅱ)-L-His methyl ester complexes and the efficiency of cleavage is largely dependent on the metal ion-to-ligand ratio. Further experiments show that the cleavage of DNA mediated by Cu(Ⅱ)-L-His complexes occurs via a hydrolytic mechanism and the active chemical species that affects DNA cleavage is proposed to be MI2H and ML2H22 . 相似文献

Seven new μ-oxamido copper(Ⅱ)-lanthanide(Ⅲ)hetero-bitnetalic complexes described by the fonnula Cu(obbz)Ln-(Ph-phen)2NO3(Ln=La,Nd,Eu,Gd,Tb,Ho,Er),where obbz denotes the oxamidobis(benzoato)and Ph-phen represents 5-phenyl-1,10-phenanthroline,have been synthesized and characterized by the elemental analyses,spectro-scopic(IR,UV,ESR)studies,magnetic moments(at room temperature)and molar conductivity measurement. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of Cu(obbz)Gd(Ph-phen)2NO3 complex has been measured over the range 4.2-300 K.The least-squares fit of the experimental susceptibilities based on the spin Hamiltonian operator,H=-2JS1 S2,yielded J= 1.28 cm-1,a weak ferromagnetic coupling.A plausible mechanism for a ferromagnetic coupling between Gd(Ⅲ)-Cu(Ⅱ)is discussed in terms of spin-polarization. 相似文献

Heterometallic copper(Ⅱ)-lanthanide(Ⅲ) complexes have been made with a variety of exclusively O-donor ligands including betaines (zwitterionic carboxylates) and chloroac-etate,which are dinuclear CuLn,tetranuclear Cu2Ln2,pen-tanuclear Cu2Ln2,and octadecanuclear Cu12Ln6 complexes.Hie results show that subtle changes in both the carboxylates and acidity of the reaction solution can cause drastic changes in the structures of the products.Magnetic studies exhibit that shielding of the Ln3 4f electrons by the outer shell electrons is very effective to preclude significant coupling interaction between the Ln3 4f electrons and Cu2 3d electrons in either a mono-atomic hydroxide-bridged,or a carboxylate-bridged system. 相似文献

Three heterobinuclear complexes were synthesized, namely [Cu (oxpn) Co (L)2] (ClO4)2·xH2O(L= 2,2'-bipyridyl(bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline(phen) , and 5-nitro-1, 10-phenanthroline (NO2-phen)), where oxpn represents N, N'-bis(3-aminopropyl) oxam-ido. Based on 1R, elemental analysis, conductivity measurement and electronic spectra, these complexes were characterized by an extended oxamido-bridged structure with Cu(Ⅱ) in a planar environment and Co(Ⅱ) in a octahedral environment. The symmetry of the cation is very close to C2v.The complexes were also characterized with variable temperature (4~300K) magnetic susceptibility, and the data were fit for the susceptibility equation derived from spin Hamilton, H= -2JS1.S2-DSx12 by least square strategy. The exchange integral, J, was found to be -22.36 cm-1 (for bpy);-15.45 cm-1 (for phen); -19. 10cm-1(for NO2-phen), indicating that there is a weak antiferromagnetic spin-exchange interaction between the metal ions. 相似文献

Copper(Ⅱ) resorcylic acid(CuRes) nanoparticles were synthesized by using reactive precipitation method with resorcylic acid and blue copperas as the raw material in a rotating packed bed. The sample obtained was characterized by using X-ray diffraction( XRD), transmission electron microscopy( TEM ), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermo-gravimetric analyses (TG), and element analysis. In addition, the catalytic activity of CuRes nanoparticles on the thermal decomposition of nitrocellulose-nitroglycerine (NC-NG) was also determined via DSC.The results show that the spherical nanoparticles with a diameter of 20 nm were obtained in ethanol solution. The peak temperature of the thermal decomposition of NC-NG-CuRes decreases by 3 ℃ compared with that of normal CuRes,and the decomposition enthalpy is increased by 735 J/g, and therefore, it is reasonable to assume that CuRes nanoparticles have a better catalytic activity. 相似文献

Four new u-oxamido heterobinuclear complexes have been synthesized and identified as [Cu(oxap)Fe(L)2]SO4, where oxap denotes the N, N'-bis(2-aminopropyl)oxamido dianion and L represents diaminoethane (en); 1,3-diaminopropane (pn); 1,2-diaminopropane (ap) and 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Me2-phen). Based on the elemental analyses, spectroscopic studies, magnetic moments (at room temperature) and molar conductivity measurements, extended oxamido-bridged structures consisting of a copper(Ⅱ) and an iron(Ⅱ) ions, which have a square planar environment and an octahedral environment, respectively, are proposed for these complexes. Summary A QSAR based on a multiple regression analysis for 15 copper(II) semi- and thiosemicarbazone complexes with cytotoxic properties is presented. In vitro cytotoxicity was selected as the dependent variable and Van der Waals volumes (Vm), octanol- water partition coefficients (logP), specific rate constants of the copper(II) complexes towards superoxide radicals (k
s
) and variation in C=N vibration bands (CN) in IR spectra of the complexes with respect to the free ligands were selected as the independent variables. The stepwise regression procedure and the all possible regressions were practiced in the analysis of the data. The orthogonality analysis proved noncollinearity among the variables. According to the obtained equation the two best copper(II) complexes were submitted to a broad in vivo screening study and resulted to be active against La, P-388 and L-1210 leukemias.

A new series of binuclear unsymmetrical compartmental oxime complexes (1–5) [M2L] [M=Cu(II), Ni(II)] have been synthesized using mononuclear complex [ML] (L=1,4-bis[2-hydroxy-3-(formyl)-5-methylbenzyl]piperazine), hydroxylamine hydrochloride and triethylamine. In this system there are two different compartments, one has piperazinyl nitrogens and phenolic oxygens and the other compartment has two oxime nitrogens and phenolic oxygens as coordinating sites. The complexes were characterized by elemental and spectral analysis. Electrochemical studies of the complexes show two step single electron quasi-reversible redox processes at cathodic potential region. For copper complexes E1 pc=−0.18 to −0.62 and E2 pc=−1.18 to −1.25 V, for nickel complexes E1 pc=−0.40 to −0.63 and E2 pc=−1.08 to −1.10 V and reduction potentials are sensitive towards the chemical environment around the copper and nickel atoms. The nickel(II) complexes undergo two electrons oxidation. The first one electron oxidation is observed around +0.75 V and the second around +1.13 V. ESR Spectra of the binuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu2L](ClO4), [Cu2L(Cl)], [Cu2L(NO3)] shows a broad signal at g=2.1 indicating the presence of coupling between the two copper centers. Copper(II) complexes show a magnetic moment value of μeff around 1.59 B.M at 298 K and variable temperature magnetic measurements show a −2J value of 172 cm−1 indicating presence of antiferromagnetic exchange interaction between copper(II) centres. 相似文献

A series of model complexes for the type III site, in oxidised hemocyanin, containing Cu2(μ-0Ph)3+ core have been synthesised using a heptadentate ligand (H3L) formed from the Schiff base condensation of triethylenetetramine and salicylaldehyde. The ligand provides one imine and
one inbuilt imidazole nitrogen and two phenolic oxygen donors with both five- and six-membered chelate rings to each metal
centre. In the pentacoordinated complexes [Cu2(L)X]·nH2O, a third exogenous bridging ligand is present. The TG curve indicates the loss of lattice water molecules between 70 and
125°C. The residue after decomposition is CuO above 550°C. Theg values of theX-band EPR spectrum of [Cu2L(μ-OAc)]·2H2O in methanol glass (77 K) are typical of a variety of bridged copper(II) dimers. The copper-copper magnetic interaction is
dependent on the presence and nature of X in these complexes. 相似文献

A series of 2-aminosubstituted (5Z)-3-phenyl-5-(pyridine-2-ylmethylene)-3,5-dihydro-4H-imidazole-4-ones (L) was prepared by the reaction of the corresponding 2-alkylthio-3,5-dihydro-4H-imidazole-4-ones with morpholine or piperidine in the presence of ytterbium(III) triflate. The resulting ligands were subsequently reacted with CuCl2·2H2O and CoCl2·6H2O to give the corresponding copper(II) and cobalt(II) complexes, respectively. Analysis revealed that the complexes were formed with an LMCl2 (M = Cu, Co)-type composition in all cases. The structures of the three cobalt complexes prepared in this way were determined by X-ray crystallography. The results revealed that the cobalt ions in these complexes were tetrahedrally coordinated to two chloride anions and two nitrogen atoms from the pyridine and imidazole moieties of the ligand. The electrochemical properties of the ligands and their complexes were evaluated by cyclic voltammetry, and the results revealed that the first stage in the reduction of the Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes involved the reversible formation of the corresponding Co(I) and Cu(I) complexes, respectively. The cytotoxicity activities of the organic ligands and their complexes were evaluated against several cancer cell lines, including MCF-7, A549 and HEK293 cells. The copper complexes of the organic ligands bearing a phenyl or allyl moiety at their N(3) position together with a piperidine substituent at the 2-position of their imidazolone ring exhibited the greatest cytotoxicity of all of the compounds tested in the current study. 相似文献

AbstractTwo triply-bridged dinuclear copper(II) complexes of formula [LCu(μ-OH)(μ-OAc)(μ-X)CuL]X?0.5H2O where L is a bidentate ligand of N-(pyridine-2-ylmethyl)propane-2-amine and X=Cl, 1 and Br, 2 were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic techniques (IR, UV–Vis, EPR), thermal analysis, conductance measurements, and single-crystal X-ray structure determination. The structures of both complexes are similar. The complexes show a distorted square-pyramidal arrangement around each copper(II) ion with a CuN2O2X chromophore in which both copper(II) ions are connected by a hydroxo bridge and a triatomic syn-syn carboxylato bridge in equatorial positions and a halide ion bridge at the axial site. The chromotropism behavior of the complexes, including solvato-, thermo-, and halochromism, were investigated in detail. Their halochromism was investigated in the pH range of 2.0–11.0 by visible absorption spectroscopy. The reversible color variations from blue to colorless are attributable to deprotonation and protonation of the ligands. The complexes show reversible thermochromism in solution due to dissociation and recombination of ligands to copper ions. 相似文献

Syntheses of nickel(II) complexes of the tetraaza macrocycles 2,7-dichloro-1,3,6,8-tetraazacyclodecane (DCCD) and 2,8-dichloro-1,3,7,9-tetraazacyclododecane (DICD) and a copper(II) complex of 2,6,8,12,13,17-hexaazabicyclo[5.5.5]heptadecane (HBCH) are reported in the template condensation of trichloromethane with 1,2-diaminoethane or 1,3-diaminopropane. Formulation of the synthesized products [Ni(DCCD)(H2O)2]Cl2, [Ni(DICD)(H2O)2]Cl2?·?H2O, and [Cu3(HBCH)(H2O)6]Cl6, and the metal-free ligand hydrochloride HBCH?·?6HCl has been confirmed by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, and spectral studies. Potentiometric studies of nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of HBCH and structurally similar 2,5,8,10,13,16,17,20,23-nonaazabicyclo[7.7.7]tricosane (NACT, earlier derived from trichloromethane and diethylenetriamine) have also been performed in the structural support of HBCH. In 1?:?1, metal?:?HBCH solution, copper(II) is coordinated to four N-donors of two-HN(CH2)3NH– groups of the ligand in a non-planar tetraaza cavity. The equilibrium constant value (log?K?=?15.41) for the reaction Cu2+?+?A???CuA2+ (A?=?HBCH) is in favor of the cyclic structure of the ligand. A high value (log?K?=?23.27) for corresponding reaction in the NACT system is due to conformational change in the ligand, where copper(II) organizes the macrocycle to form a nearly planar cavity in which the cation fits well. 相似文献

Seven new μ‐oxamido copper(II)‐lanthanide(III) heterobimetalic complexes described by the formula Cu(obbz) Ln‐(Ph‐phen)2NO3(Ln = La, Nd, Eu, Gd, Tb, Ho, Er), where obbz denotes the oxamidobis(benzoato) and Ph‐phen represents 5‐phenyl‐1, 10‐phenanthroline, have been synthesized and characterized by the elemental analyses, spectroscopic (IR, UV, ESR) studies, magnetic moments (at room temperature) and molar conductivity measurement. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of Cu(obbz)Gd(Ph‐phen)2NO3 complex has been measured over the range 4.2–300 K. The least‐squares fit of the experimental susceptibilities based on the spin Hamiltonian operator, ? = ?2 J?1·?2, yielded J= +1.28 cm?1, a weak ferromagnetic coupling, A plausible mechanism for a ferromagnetic coupling between Gd(III)‐Cu(II) is discussed in terms of spin‐polarization. 相似文献
