X‐ray photoelectron spectral study was made on the complexes Ni(nmedtc)2( 1 ), [Ni(nmedtc)(PPh3)2]ClO4( 2 ), [Ni‐(nmedtc)(dppe)]BPh4( 3 ) (where nmedtc = N‐methyl, N‐ethanoldithiocarbamate, dppe = 1, 2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane). The nickel 2p3/2 binding energy values for chelated and free phosphine complexes are 854.0 and 854.1 eV which are significantly different from Ni2p3/2 BE value of NiS4 chromophore, indicating the relative dearth of electron density on Ni in NiS2P2 chromophores. The presence of two phosphine groups in NiS2P2 chromophore alleviates the electron density on the metal atom. More electron density is being pulled away from the metal atom in chelates than in the PPh3 analogue. This observation is in line with solution studies by cyclic voltammetry. A one‐electron reduction potential was observed to be the minimum for NiS2P2 chromophores compared to the others. Also the crystal structure of the complex [Ni(pipdtc)(1, 4‐dppb)]ClO4 (pipdtc = piperidinecarbodithioato anion, 1, 4‐dppb = bis(diphenylphosphino)butane) prepared by the reaction between Ni(pipdtc)2, NiCl2622O, and 1, 4‐dppb in CH3CN‐CH3OH is reported.  相似文献

Phosphine exchange of [RuIIBr(MeCOO)(PPh3)2(3‐RBzTh)] (3‐RBzTh=3‐benzylbenzothiazol‐2‐ylidene) with a series of diphosphines (bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm), 1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethylene (dppv), 1,1′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf), 1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb), and 1,3‐(diphenylphosphino)propane (dppp)) gave mononuclear and neutral octahedral complexes [RuBr(MeCOO)(η2‐P2)(3‐RBzTh)] (P2=dppm ( 2 ), dppv ( 3 ), dppf ( 4 ), dppb ( 5 ), or dppp ( 6 )), the coordination spheres of which contained four different ligands, namely, a chelating diphosphine, carboxylate, N,S‐heterocyclic carbene (NSHC), and a bromide. Two geometric isomers of 6 ( 6a and 6 b ) have been isolated. The structures of these products, which have been elucidated by single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography, show two structural types, I and II, depending on the relative dispositions of the ligands. Type I structures contain a carbenic carbon atom trans to the oxygen atom, whereas two phosphorus atoms are trans to bromine and oxygen atoms. The type II system comprises a carbene carbon atom trans to one of the phosphorus atoms, whereas the other phosphorus is trans to the oxygen atom, with the bromine trans to the remaining oxygen atom. Complexes 2 , 3 , 4 , and 6a belong to type I, whereas 5 and 6 b are of type II. The kinetic product 6 b eventually converts into 6a upon standing. These complexes are active towards catalytic reduction of para‐methyl acetophenone by 2‐propanol at 82 °C under 1 % catalyst load giving the corresponding alcohols. The dppm complex 2 shows the good yields (91–97 %) towards selected ketones.  相似文献

The nickel(II) N‐benzyl‐N‐methyldithiocarbamato (BzMedtc) complexes [Ni(BzMedtc)(PPh3)Cl] ( 1 ), [Ni(BzMedtc)(PPh3)Br] ( 2 ), [Ni(BzMedtc)(PPh3)I] ( 3 ), and [Ni(BzMedtc)(PPh3)(NCS)] ( 4 ) were synthesized using the reaction of [Ni(BzMedtc)2] and [NiX2(PPh3)2] (X = Cl, Br, I and NCS). Subsequently, complex 1 was used for the preparation of [Ni(BzMedtc)(PPh3)2]ClO4 ( 5 ), [Ni(BzMedtc)(PPh3)2]BPh4 ( 6 ), and [Ni(BzMedtc)(PPh3)2]PF6 ( 7 ). The obtained complexes 1 – 7 were characterized by elemental analysis, thermal analysis and spectroscopic methods (IR, UV/Vis, 31P{1H} NMR). The results of the magnetochemical and molar conductivity measurements proved the complexes as diamagnetic non‐electrolytes ( 1 – 4 ) or 1:1 electrolytes ( 5 – 7 ). The molecular structures of 4 and 5· H2O were determined by a single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. In all cases, the NiII atom is tetracoordinated in a distorted square‐planar arrangement with the S2PX, and S2P2 donor set, respectively. The catalytic influence of selected complexes 1 , 3 , 5 , and 6 on graphite oxidation was studied. The results clearly indicated that the presence of the products of thermal degradation processes of the mentioned complexes has impact on the course of graphite oxidation. A decrease in the oxidation start temperatures by about 60–100 °C was observed in the cases of all the tested complexes in comparison with pure graphite.  相似文献

Reactions of SnCl2 with the complexes cis‐[PtCl2(P2)] (P2=dppf (1,1′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene), dppp (1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane=1,1′‐(propane‐1,3‐diyl)bis[1,1‐diphenylphosphine]), dppb (1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane=1,1′‐(butane‐1,4‐diyl)bis[1,1‐diphenylphosphine]), and dpppe (1,5‐bis(diphenylphosphino)pentane=1,1′‐(pentane‐1,5‐diyl)bis[1,1‐diphenylphosphine])) resulted in the insertion of SnCl2 into the Pt? Cl bond to afford the cis‐[PtCl(SnCl3)(P2)] complexes. However, the reaction of the complexes cis‐[PtCl2(P2)] (P2=dppf, dppm (bis(diphenylphosphino)methane=1,1′‐methylenebis[1,1‐diphenylphosphine]), dppe (1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane=1,1′‐(ethane‐1,2‐diyl)bis[1,1‐diphenylphosphine]), dppp, dppb, and dpppe; P=Ph3P and (MeO)3P) with SnX2 (X=Br or I) resulted in the halogen exchange to yield the complexes [PtX2(P2)]. In contrast, treatment of cis‐[PtBr2(dppm)] with SnBr2 resulted in the insertion of SnBr2 into the Pt? Br bond to form cis‐[Pt(SnBr3)2(dppm)], and this product was in equilibrium with the starting complex cis‐[PtBr2(dppm)]. Moreover, the reaction of cis‐[PtCl2(dppb)] with a mixture SnCl2/SnI2 in a 2 : 1 mol ratio resulted in the formation of cis‐[PtI2(dppb)] as a consequence of the selective halogen‐exchange reaction. 31P‐NMR Data for all complexes are reported, and a correlation between the chemical shifts and the coupling constants was established for mono‐ and bis(trichlorostannyl)platinum complexes. The effect of the alkane chain length of the ligand and SnII halide is described.  相似文献

The reaction of N‐methylimidazole (N‐MeIm) and N‐butylimidazole (N‐BuIm) with the complexes [PdCl2(PPh2py–P,N)] and [PdCl2(PPh2Etpy–P,N)] in the presence of NH4PF6 under N2 at room temperature afforded four new cationic Pd(II) complexes [PdCl(PPh2py–P,N)(N‐MeIm)](PF6) ( 1 ), [PdCl(PPh2py–P,N)(N‐BuIm)](PF6) ( 2 ), [PdCl(PPh2Etpy–P,N)(N‐MeIm)](PF6) ( 4 ) and [PdCl(PPh2Etpy‐P,N)(N‐BuIm)](PF6) ( 5 ) in good yields, where PPh2py is 2‐(diphenylphosphino)pyridine and PPh2Etpy is 2‐{2‐(diphenylphosphino)ethyl}pyridine). The complexes were fully characterized. The catalytic activities of these complexes were investigated for Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions at room temperature. Complex 2 exhibited excellent activity compared to other analogs. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Trichlorooxo[1,3‐propanediylbis(diphenylphosphine)‐P,P′]rhenium(V), [ReCl3O(C27H26P2)], crystallizes with four formula units per unit cell. The crystal structure consists of neutral complexes of [ReOCl3(dppp)] [dppp is 1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane] packed by H?π‐ring interactions. The Re atom is octahedrally coordinated to the oxo anion, three Cl atoms and two P atoms from the dppp ligand. The six‐membered ring formed by the bidentate dppp ligand and the rhenium metal centre is in a chair conformation. The title compound is an intermediate in the synthesis of bis(dppp) complexes of rhenium.  相似文献

Ni(II) mononuclear dithiocarbamate complexes with bidentate P,P ligands of composition [Ni(R2dtc)(P,P)]X {R?=?pentyl (pe), benzyl (bz); dtc?=?S2CN?; P,P?=?1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe), 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb), 1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphino) ferrocene (dppf); X?=?ClO4, Cl, Br, NCS} and binuclear complexes of composition [Ni2(μ-dpph)(R2dtc)2]X2 with a P,P-bridging ligand {P,P?=?1,6-bis(diphenylphosphino)hexane (dpph); X?=?Cl, Br, NCS} have been synthesized. The complexes have been characterized by elemental and thermal analysis, IR, electronic and 31P{1H}-NMR spectroscopy, magnetochemical and conductivity measurements. Single crystal X-ray analysis of [Ni(pe2dtc)(dppf)]ClO4 confirmed a distorted square planar coordination in the NiS2P2 chromophore. For selected samples, the catalysis of graphite oxidation was studied.  相似文献

The synthesis, X‐ray crystal structures, electrochemical, and spectroscopic studies of a series of hexanuclear gold(I) μ3‐ferrocenylmethylphosphido complexes stabilized by bridging phosphine ligands, [Au6(P?P)n(Fc‐CH2‐P)2][PF6]2 (n=3, P?P=dppm (bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) ( 1 ), dppe (1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane) ( 2 ), dppp (1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane) ( 3 ), Ph2PN(C3H7)‐PPh2 ( 4 ), Ph2PN(Ph‐CH3p)PPh2 ( 5 ), dppf (1,1′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene) ( 6 ); n=2, P?P=dpepp (bis(2‐diphenylphosphinoethyl)phenylphosphine) ( 7 )), as platforms for multiple redox‐active ferrocenyl units, are reported. The investigation of the structural changes of the clusters has been probed by introducing different bridging phosphine ligands. This class of gold(I) μ3‐ferrocenylmethylphosphido complexes has been found to exhibit one reversible oxidation couple, suggestive of the absence of electronic communication between the ferrocene units through the Au6P2 cluster core, providing an understanding of the electronic properties of the hexanuclear AuI cluster linkage. The present complexes also serve as an ideal system for the design of multi‐electron reservoir and molecular battery systems.  相似文献

Achiral P‐donor pincer‐aryl ruthenium complexes ([RuCl(PCP)(PPh3)]) 4c , d were synthesized via transcyclometalation reactions by mixing equivalent amounts of [1,3‐phenylenebis(methylene)]bis[diisopropylphosphine] ( 2c ) or [1,3‐phenylenebis(methylene)]bis[diphenylphosphine] ( 2d ) and the N‐donor pincer‐aryl complex [RuCl{2,6‐(Me2NCH2)2C6H3}(PPh3)], ( 3 ; Scheme 2). The same synthetic procedure was successfully applied for the preparation of novel chiral P‐donor pincer‐aryl ruthenium complexes [RuCl(P*CP*)(PPh3)] 4a , b by reacting P‐stereogenic pincer‐arenes (S,S)‐[1,3‐phenylenebis(methylene)]bis[(alkyl)(phenyl)phosphines] 2a , b (alkyl=iPr or tBu, P*CHP*) and the complex [RuCl{2,6‐(Me2NCH2)2C6H3}(PPh3)], ( 3 ; Scheme 3). The crystal structures of achiral [RuCl(equation/tex2gif-sup-3.gifPCP)(PPh3)] 4c and of chiral (S,S)‐[RuCl(equation/tex2gif-sup-6.gifPCP)(PPh3)] 4a were determined by X‐ray diffraction (Fig. 3). Achiral [RuCl(PCP)(PPh3)] complexes and chiral [RuCl(P*CP*)(PPh3)] complexes were tested as catalyst in the H‐transfer reduction of acetophenone with propan‐2‐ol. With the chiral complexes, a modest enantioselectivity was obtained.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterization and methyl methacrylate polymerization behaviors of 2‐(N‐arylimino)pyrrolide nickel complexes are described. The nickel complex [NN]2Ni ( 1 , [NN] = [2‐C(H)NAr‐5‐tBu‐C4H2N]?, Ar = 2,6‐iPr2C6H3) was prepared in good yield by the reaction of [NN]Li with trans‐[Ni(Cl)(Ph)(PPh3)2] in THF. Reaction of [NN]Li with NiBr2(DME) yielded the nickel bromide [NN]Ni(Br)[NNH] ( 2 ). Complexes 1 and 2 were characterized by 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis, and by X‐ray single crystal analysis. Both complexes, upon activation with methylaluminoxane, are highly active for the polymerization of methyl methacrylate to give high molecular weight polymethylmethacrylate with narrow molecular distributions. In the crystal structures of both title compounds, [1,3‐bis(2‐hydroxybenzylidene)‐2‐methyl‐2‐(2‐oxidobenzylideneaminomethyl)propane‐1,3‐diamine]nickel(II) [2‐(2‐hydroxybenzylideneaminomethyl)‐2‐methyl‐1,3‐bis(2‐oxidobenzylidene)propane‐1,3‐diamine]nickel(II) chloride methanol disolvate, [Ni(C26H25.5N3O3)]2Cl·2CH4O, and [1,3‐bis(2‐hydroxybenzylidene)‐2‐methyl‐2‐(2‐oxidobenzylideneaminomethyl)propane‐1,3‐diamine]zinc(II) perchlorate [2‐(2‐hydroxybenzylideneaminomethyl)‐2‐methyl‐1,3‐bis(2‐oxidobenzylidene)propane‐1,3‐diamine]zinc(II) methanol trisolvate, [Zn(C26H25N3O3)]ClO4·[Zn(C26H26N3O3)]·3CH4O, the 3d metal ion is in an approximately octahedral environment composed of three facially coordinated imine N atoms and three phenol O atoms. The two mononuclear units are linked by three phenol–phenolate O—H...O hydrogen bonds to form a dimeric structure. In the Ni compound, the asymmetric unit consists of one mononuclear unit, one‐half of a chloride anion and a methanol solvent molecule. In the O—H...O hydrogen bonds, two H atoms are located near the centre of O...O and one H atom is disordered over two positions. The NiII compound is thus formulated as [Ni(H1.5L)]2Cl·2CH3OH [H3L is 1,3‐bis(2‐hydroxybenzylidene)‐2‐(2‐hydroxybenzylideneaminomethyl)‐2‐methylpropane‐1,3‐diamine]. In the analogous ZnII compound, the asymmetric unit consists of two crystallographically independent mononuclear units, one perchlorate anion and three methanol solvent molecules. The mode of hydrogen bonding connecting the two mononuclear units is slightly different, and the formula can be written as [Zn(H2L)]ClO4·[Zn(HL)]·3CH3OH. In both compounds, each mononuclear unit is chiral with either a Δ or a Λ configuration because of the screw coordination arrangement of the achiral tripodal ligand around the 3d metal ion. In the dimeric structure, molecules with Δ–Δ and Λ–Λ pairs co‐exist in the crystal structure to form a racemic crystal. A notable difference is observed between the M—O(phenol) and M—O(phenolate) bond lengths, the former being longer than the latter. In addition, as the ionic radius of the metal ion decreases, the M—O and M—N bond distances decrease.  相似文献

Dimeric rhodium complexes of the type [Rh(PP)(μ2‐Cl)]2 (PP=diphosphine) are often used as precatalysts and are generated “in situ” from the corresponding diolefin complexes by exchange of the diene with the desired diphosphine. Herein, we report that the “in situ” procedure also leads to unexpected monomeric pentacoordinated neutral complexes of the type [RhCl(PP)(diolefin)], for the first time herein characterized by NMR spectroscopy and X‐ray crystallography for the ligands 1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (DPPP), 1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (DPPB), and 2,2′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl (BINAP). The pentacoordinated complexes are in equilibrium with the dimeric target compound [Rh(PP)(μ2‐Cl)]2. The equilibrium is influenced by the rhodium‐diolefin precursor, the solvent and the temperature. Based on the results of NMR and UV/Vis spectroscopic analysis (kinetics) it could be shown that the pentacoordinated complex [RhCl(PP)(diolefin)] may arise both from the “in situ”‐generated neutral complex [Rh(PP)(μ2‐Cl)] by reaction with the free diolefin and, more surprisingly, directly from [Rh(diolefin)(μ2‐Cl)]2 and the diphosphine.  相似文献

Complexes with Macrocyclic Ligands. IV. Heterodinuclear Cobalt(II), Nickel(II), Copper(II), Zinc(II) and Palladium(II) Complexes with a Macrocyclic Ligand of Schiff‐Base Type: Syntheses and Structures The synthesis and properties of nickel(II), copper(II), and palladium(II) complexes, [MLPh] ( 3 ; LPh = N,N′‐phenylene‐bis(3‐formyl‐5‐tert.‐butyl‐salicylaldimine)), are described. These neutral mononuclear complexes react with metal(II) perchlorate and 1,3‐propylenediamine to form heterodinuclear, macrocyclic, cationic complexes of the type [MM′(LPh,3)]2+ ( 4 ; M = Ni, Cu, Pd; M′ = Co, Cu, Zn). The structures of the five new compounds [NiCo(LPh,3)](ClO4)2, [NiCu(LPh,3)](ClO4)2, [CuCu(LPh,3)](ClO4)2, [CuZn(LPh,3)](ClO4)2, and [PdCu(LPh,3)](ClO4)2 were determined by X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

Synthesis, spectral and cyclic voltammetric characterization of [Ni(dedtc)(4‐MP)2](ClO4) ( 1 ), [Ni(dedtc)(4‐MP)(NCS)]( 2 ), [Ni(dedtc)(PPh3)(NCS)] ( 3 ) and [Ni(dedtc)(PPh3)(CN)] ( 4 ) (dedtc = diethyldithiocarbamate, 4‐MP = tri(4‐methylphenyl)phosphine, PPh3 = triphenylphophine) are reported. IR spectra of complexes 1‐4 show the characteristic thioureide (C‐N) bands at higher wave numbers compared to that of the parent dithiocarbamate complex [Ni(dedtc)2]. The d‐d transitions are observed in the region 452—482 nm. The CV studies clearly show the presence of reduced electron density on the nickel ions in mixed ligand complexes 1‐4 compared to the parent dithiocarbamate. Single crystal X‐ray structure studies show all the complexes to containplanar NiS2P2, NiS2PN, and NiS2PC chromophores in keeping with the observed diamagnetism. In all the complexes the Ni‐S distances are asymmetric. The thioureide C‐N distance of the complexes 1‐4 are less thanthe C‐N distance observed in the parent [Ni(dedtc)2].  相似文献

Cleavage reactions of the dinuclear [{Ni(′S2C ′)}2] · DMF (′S2C ′ 2– = 1,3‐imidazolidinyl‐N,N′‐bis(2‐benzenethiolate)(2–)) with HNPiPr3 or HNSPh2 yielded the mononuclear complexes [Ni(NHPiPr3)(′S2C ′)] ( 1 ) and [Ni(NHSPh2)(′S2C ′)] ( 2 ) which have been completely characterized. The nickel‐carbene‐dithiolate [Ni(′S2C ′)] moiety is one of the very rare complex fragments that are able to coordinate both HNPR3 or HNSR2. IR spectra and X‐ray structure determinations show that 1 and 2 exhibit intramolecular N–H…S(thiolate) hydrogen bonds. Geometric parameters and NMR spectroscopic data of 1 and 2 are compatible with N–X single bonds and ylidic structures of the HNPiPr3 and HNSPh2 ligands. Comparison of Ni–N distances in diamagnetic and paramagnetic [Ni(NHSPh2)] complexes was rendered possible through the X‐ray structure determination of the homoleptic [Ni(NHSPh2)6]Cl2 ( 3 ) which formed as minor by‐product in the synthesis of 2 .  相似文献

Reactions of pyrimidine‐2‐thione (HpymS) with PdII/PtIV salts in the presence of triphenyl phosphine and bis(diphenylphosphino)alkanes, Ph2P‐(CH2)m‐PPh2 (m = 1, 2) have yielded two types of complexes, viz. a) [M(η2‐N, S‐ pymS)(η1‐S‐ pymS)(PPh3)] (M = Pd, 1 ; Pt, 2 ), and (b) [M(η1‐S‐pymS)2(L‐L)] {L‐L, M = dppm (m = 1) Pd, 3 ; Pt, 4 ; dppe (m = 2), Pd, 5 ; Pt, 6 }. Complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis (C, H, N), NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 31P), and single crystal X‐ray crystallography ( 1 , 2 , 4 , and 5 ). Complexes 1 and 2 have terminal η1‐S and chelating η2‐N, S‐modes of pymS, while other Pd/Pt complexes have only terminal η1‐S modes. The solution state 31P NMR spectral data reveal dynamic equilibrium for the complexes 3 , 5 and 6 , whereas the complexes 1 , 2 and 4 are static in solution state.  相似文献

New dinuclear complexes of the types [Ni2(L)(H2O)2] and [Ni2(L)(H2O)6] [H4L = N,N′‐bis(carboxymethyl) dithiooxamide (H4GLYDTO), N,N′‐bis(1‐carboxyethyl) dithiooxamide (H4ALADTO), N,N′‐bis(1‐carboxy‐2‐methylpropyl) dithiooxamide (H4VALDTO) and N,N′‐bis(1‐carboxy‐3‐methylbutyl) dithiooxamide (H4LEUDTO)] have been prepared and characterized by IR and electronic absorption spectroscopy, and the structure of [Ni2(ALADTO)(H2O)6] crystals has been determined by single crystal X‐ray analysis. This compound is composed of discrete dinuclear units in which two NiII atoms with NO4S kernels are linked by a single [ALADTO]4– group that coordinates through its carboxylato oxygen, amino nitrogen and thiolato sulphur atoms. In each dimer unit the two nickel(II) ions in distorted octahedral coordination are separated by 5.863(2) Å The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of the new compounds was measured over the range 2 to 300 K. In the complexes of [GLYDTO]4– and [ALADTO]4– the two Ni atoms are antiferromagnetically coupled, with J = –23.51(4) and –20.95(8) cm–1, respectively. By constrast, [Ni2(VALDTO)(H2O)2], [Ni2(VALDTO)(H2O)6] and [Ni2(LEUDTO)(H2O)2] remain paramagnetic down to 2 K, with magnetic moment values between 2.8 and 3.3 M.B.  相似文献

The reaction of zerovalent nickel compounds with white phosphorus (P4) is a barely explored route to binary nickel phosphide clusters. Here, we show that coordinatively and electronically unsaturated N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) nickel(0) complexes afford unusual cluster compounds with P1, P3, P5 and P8 units. Using [Ni(IMes)2] [IMes=1,3‐bis(2,4,6‐trimethylphenyl)imidazolin‐2‐ylidene], electron‐deficient Ni3P4 and Ni3P6 clusters have been isolated, which can be described as superhypercloso and hypercloso clusters according to the Wade–Mingos rules. Use of the bulkier NHC complexes [Ni(IPr)2] or [(IPr)Ni(η6‐toluene)] [IPr=1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazolin‐2‐ylidene] affords a closo‐Ni3P8 cluster. Inverse‐sandwich complexes [(NHC)2Ni2P5] (NHC=IMes, IPr) with an aromatic cyclo‐P5? ligand were identified as additional products.  相似文献
