This paper estimates some thermochemical (in kcal mol–1) and detonation parameters for the ionic liquid, [emim][ClO4] and its associated solid in view of its investigation as an energetic material. The thermochemical values estimated, employing CBS‐4M computational methodology and volume‐based thermodynamics (VBT) include: lattice energy, UPOT([emim][ClO4]) ≈? 123 ± 16 kcal · mol–1; enthalpy of formation of the gaseous cation, ΔfH°([emim]+, g) = 144.2 kcal · mol–1 and anion, ΔfH°([ClO4], g) = –66.1 kcal · mol–1; the enthalpy of formation of the solid salt, ΔfH°([emim][ClO4],s) ≈? –55 ± 16 kcal · mol–1 and for the associated ionic liquid, ΔfHo([emim][ClO4],l) = –52 ± 16 kcal · mol–1 as well as the corresponding Gibbs energy terms: ΔfG°([emim][ClO4],s) ≈? +29 ± 16 kcal · mol–1 and ΔfGo([emim][ClO4],l) = +24 ± 16 kcal · mol–1 and the associated standard absolute entropies, of the solid [emim][ClO4], S°298([emim][ClO4],s) = 83 ± 4 cal · K–1 · mol–1. The following combustion and detonation parameters are assigned to [emim][ClO4] in its (ionic) liquid form: specific impulse (Isp) = 228 s (monopropellant), detonation velocity (VoD) = 5466 m · s–1, detonation pressure (pC–J) = 99 kbar, explosion temperature (Tex) = 2842 K.  相似文献

A New Synthesis for Nitrosyl Salts with Weakly Coordinating Anions Exemplified by NO[B(CF3)4] A new synthesis for nitrosyl salts of weakly coordinating anions is described, using the corresponding guanidinium salts as starting materials. The guanidinium salt [C(NH2)3][B(CF3)4] was obtained by a metathesis reaction of K[B(CF3)4] with [C(NH2)3]Cl. Treatment of the guanidinium salt with liquid NO2 resulted in analytical pure NO[B(CF3)4] in quantitative yield. The guanidinium and nitrosyl tetrakis(trifluormethyl)borates were characterized by vibrational and NMR spectroscopy as well as by DSC measurements.  相似文献

The deep blue, paramagnetic Cs2[TcII(NO)F5] is formed during reactions of pertechnetate, acetohydroxamic acid, and CsF in aqueous HF. A reaction of Cs2[Tc(NO)F5] with BF3 · MeOH in acetonitrile gives yellow blocks of the fluorido‐bridged dimer [{TcI(NO)(CH3CN)4}2F](BF4)3. The compound is stable as solid and in acetonitrile solutions. The complex cation contains a bent μ‐F ligand and two linear nitrosyl groups.  相似文献

Solvent-free Synthesis of Tetramethylammonium Salts: Synthesis and Characterization of [N(CH3)4]2[C2O4], [N(CH3)4][CO3CH3], [N(CH3)4][NO2], [N(CH3)4][CO2H], and [N(CH3)4][O2C(CH2)2CO2CH3] A general procedure to synthesize tetramethylammonium salts is presented. Several tetramethylammonium salts were prepared in a crystalline state by solvent-free reaction of trimethylamine and different methyl compounds at mild conditions: [N(CH3)4]2[C2O4] (cubic; a = 1 114.8(3) pm), [N(CH3)4][CO3CH3] (P21/n; a = 813.64(3), b = 953.36(3), c = 1 131.3(4) pm, β = 90.03(1)°), [N(CH3)4][NO2] (Pmmn; a = 821.2(4), b = 746.5(3), c = 551.5(2) pm), [N(CH3)4][CO2H] (Pmmn; a = 792.8(7), b = 791.7(3), c = 563.3(4) pm) and [N(CH3)4][O2C(CH2)2CO2CH3] (P21; a = 731.1(2), b = 826.4(3), c = 1 025.2(3) pm, β = 110.1(1)°). The tetramethylammonium salts were characterized by IR-spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The crystal structures of the methylcarbonate and the nitrite are described.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural characterization of trans‐[RhCl(NO)(PtBu2H)2]BF4 ( 2 ) is reported. The title compound could easily be prepared in good yields by a kind of “bridge‐splitting” reaction of [{Rh(μ‐Cl)(PtBu2H)2}2] ( 1 ) with an appropriate amount of nitrosonium tetrafluoridoborate in dichloromethane at room temperature. Single crystals of 2 were grown from dichloromethane/diethyl ether and were analyzed by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

In line with our investigations of rhenium nitrosyl complexes, we have studied the reaction of [ReCl3(NO)(OPPh3)(PPh3)] with pyridine. The [ReCl2(NO)(py)3] complex obtained in this reaction has been characterised by IR, electronic spectra and magnetochemical measurements; ligand field parameters and the electronic structure have been determined. The crystal and molecular structure of [ReCl2(NO)(py)3] has been solved by the heavy atom method. Crystals of [ReCl2(NO)(py)3] contain distorted octahedral molecules with the pyridine ligands in the mer-arrangement. The nitrosyl group is coordinated linearly to the rhenium atom as NO+.  相似文献

Two Mercuric Ammoniates: [Hg(NH3)2][HgCl3]2 and [Hg(NH3)4](ClO4)2 [Hg(NH3)2][HgCl3]2 ( 1 ) is obtained by saturating an equimolar solution of HgCl2 and NH4Cl with Hg(NH2)Cl at 75 °C. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pmna with a = 591.9(1) pm, b = 800.3(1) pm, c = 1243.3(4) pm, Z = 2. The structure consists of linear cations [Hg(NH3)2]2+ and T‐shaped anions [HgCl3]. The coordination sphere of mercury is ?effectively”? completed to compressed hexagonal bipyramids and distorted octahedra, respectively. Single crystals of [Hg(NH3)4](ClO4)2 ( 2 ) are obtained by passing gaseous ammonia through a solution of mercuric perchlorate, while the solution was cooled to temperatures below 10 °C. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 791.52(9) pm, b = 1084.3(2) pm, c = 1566.4(2) pm, β = 120.352(1)°, Z = 4. The structure consists of compressed [Hg(NH3)4]2+ tetrahedra and perchlorate anions. The packing of the heavy atoms Hg and Cl is analogous to the baddeleyite (α‐ZrO2) type of structure.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural characterization of trans‐[IrCl(NO)(PtBu2H)2]BF4 ( 1 ) is reported. The title compound was prepared in good yield in the reaction of in situ‐prepared trans‐[IrCl(coe)(PtBu2H)2] (coe = cis‐cyclooctene) with an appropriate amount of nitrosonium tetrafluoridoborate in dichloromethane at room temperature. Single crystals of 1 were grown from dichloromethane/diethyl ether and were analyzed by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

The reaction of UO2(ClO4nH2O with 15-crown-5 and 18-crown-6 in acetonitrile yielded the title complexes. [UO2(OH2)5] [ClO4]2·3(15-crown-5)·CH3CN crystallizes in the triclinic space groupPT with (at–150°C)a=8.288(6),b=12.874(7),c=24.678(7) Å, =82.62(4), =76.06(5), =81.06(5)°, andD calc=1.67 g cm–3 forZ=2 formula units. Least-squares refinement using 6248 independent observed reflections [F o5(F o)] led toR=0.111. [UO2(OH2)5] [ClO4]2·2(18-crown-6)·2CH3CN·H2O is orthorhombicP212121 with (at–150 °C)a=12.280(2),b=17.311(7),c=22.056(3) Å,D calc=1.68 g cm–3,Z=4, andR=0.032 (3777 observed reflections). In each complex the crown ether molecules are hydrogen bonded to the water molecules of the pentagonal bipyramidal [UO2(OH2)5]2+ ions, each crown ether having exclusive use of two hydrogen atoms from one water molecule and one hydrogen from another water molecule. In the 15-crown-5 complex the remaining hydrogen bonding interaction is between one of the water molecules and one of the perchlorate anions. The solvent molecule has a close contact between the methyl group and a perchlorate anion suggesting a weak interaction. There are a total of three U-OH...OClO3 hydrogen bonds to the two perchlorate anions in [UO2(OH2)5] [ClO4]2·(18-crown-6)·2CH3CN ·H2O. The remaining coordinated water hydrogen bond is to the uncoordinated 2H2O molecule, which in turn is hydrogen bonded to a perchlorate oxygen atom and an acetonitrile nitrogen atom. One solvent methyl group interacts with an anion, the other with one of the 18-crown-6 molecules. Unlike the 15-crown-5 structure, the hydrogen bonding in this complex results in a polymeric network with formula units joined by hydrogen bonds from one of the solvent molecules and the uncoordinated water molecule. [Fe2sb‐CO)(CO)3(NO)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐Ph2PCH2PPh2)]: Synthesis, X‐ray Crystal Structure and Isomerization Na[Fe2(μ‐CO)(CO)6(μ‐PtBu2)] ( 1 ) reacts with [NO][BF4] at —60 °C in THF to the nitrosyl complex [Fe2(CO)6(NO)(μ‐PtBu2)] ( 2 ). The subsequent reaction of 2 with phosphanes (L) under mild conditions affords the complexes [Fe2(CO)5(NO)L(μ‐PtBu2)], L = PPh3, ( 3a ); η‐dppm (dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2), ( 3b ). In this case the phosphane substitutes one carbonyl ligand at the iron tetracarbonyl fragment in 2 , which was confirmed by the X‐ray crystal structure analysis of 3a . In solution 3b loses one CO ligand very easily to give dppm as bridging ligand on the Fe‐Fe bond. The thus formed compound [Fe2(CO)4(NO)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 4 ) occurs in solution in different solvents and over a wide temperature range as a mixture of the two isomers [Fe2sb‐CO)(CO)3(NO)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 4a ) and [Fe2(CO)4(μ‐NO)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 4b ). 4a was unambiguously characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis while 4b was confirmed both by NMR investigations in solution as well as by means of DFT calculations. Furthermore, the spontaneous reaction of [Fe2(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 5 ) with NO at —60 °C in toluene yields a complicated mixture of products containing [Fe2(μ‐CO)(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 6 ) as main product beside the isomers 4a and 4b occuring in very low yields.  相似文献

The title compounds, bis{μ‐N‐[(diphenylphosphanyl)methyl]pyridin‐4‐amine‐κ2N1:P}disilver bis(perchlorate) acetonitrile monosolvate, [Ag2(C18H17N2P)2](ClO4)2·CH3CN, (1), and bis{μ‐N‐[(diphenylphosphanyl)methyl]pyridin‐4‐amine‐κ2N1:P}bis[(nitrato‐κ2O,O)silver], [Ag2(C18H17N2P)2(NO3)2], (2), each contain disilver macrocyclic [Ag2(C18H17N2P)2]2+ cations lying about inversion centres. The cations are constructed by two N‐[(diphenylphosphanyl)methyl]pyridin‐4‐amine (DPP) ligands linking two Ag+ cations in a head‐to‐tail fashion. In (1), the unique Ag+ cation has a near‐linear coordination geometry consisting of one pyridine N atom and one P atom from two different DPP ligands. Two ClO4 anions doubly bridge two metallomacrocycles through Ag...O and N—H...O weak interactions to form a chain extending in the c direction. The half‐occupancy acetonitrile molecule lies with its methyl C atom on a twofold axis and makes a weak N...Ag contact. In (2), there are two independent [Ag(C18H17N2P)]+ cations. The nitrate anions weakly chelate to each Ag+ cation, leading to each Ag+ cation having a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry consisting of one pyridine N atom and one P atom from two different DPP ligands, and two chelating nitrate O atoms. Each dinuclear [Ag2(C18H17N2P)2(NO3)2] molecule acts as a four‐node to bridge four adjacent equivalent molecules through N—H...O interactions, forming a two‐dimensional sheet parallel to the bc plane. Each sheet contains dinuclear molecules involving just Ag1 or Ag2 and these two types of sheet are stacked in an alternating fashion. The sheets containing Ag1 all lie near x = , , etc, while those containing Ag2 all lie near x = 0, 1, 2 etc. Thus, the two independent sheets are arranged in an alternating sequence at x = 0, , 1, etc. These two different supramolecular structures result from the different geometric conformations of the templating anions which direct the self‐assembly of the cations and anions.  相似文献

Dicarbonyl(η5‐N,N‐dimethylcarbamoylcyclopentadienyl)nitrosylchromium ( 5 ) was prepared by the reaction of the corresponding acid chloride with dimethylamine. The structure of 5 has been determined by X‐ray diffraction studies: space group, P‐1; monoclinic; a=6.406(7), b=8.805(8), c=10.710(10) Å, α=91.73(8), β=93.67(8), γ=101.96(8)°; Z=2. The exocyclic carbon is bent away from the chromium atom with a θ angle of ?0.27°. The nitrosyl group is cisoid to the exocyclic carbonyl carbon of the Cp(Cr) ring with a twist angle of 63.27°. The chemical shifts of C(2,5) and C(3,4) on the Cp ring has been assigned using two‐dimensional HETCOR NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of the diamagnetic double salt bis(tetra(n‐butyl)ammonium) phthalocyanato(2‐)lithate hexafluorophosphate (nBu4N)2[Lipc]PF6 [pc = phthalocyanine, nBu4N+ = tetra(n‐butyl)ammonium] in dme (dme = dimethoxyethane). According to single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction structure analysis [P$\bar{1}$ , a = 8.642(2) Å, b = 12.820(3) Å, c = 15.019(3) Å, α = 83.01(3)°, β = 87.87(3)°, γ = 74.45(3)°, Z = 1, R1 = 6.4 %], the phthalocyanine building bloc shows a substantial distortion of the macrocyclic ring from planarity. The deviation from D4h symmetry originates from packing effects induced by the two tetra(n‐butyl)ammonium cations located above and below the macrocycle. DFT structure optimization starting from the experimental non‐planar configuration produces a fully planar complex anion [Lipc].  相似文献

[Ag(NH3)2]ClO4: Crystal Structures, Phase Transition, and Vibrational Spectra [Ag(NH3)2](ClO4) is obtained from a solution of AgClO4 in conc. ammonia as colourless single crystals (orthorhombic, Pnmn, Z = 4, a = 795.2(1) pm, b = 617.7(1) pm, c = 1298.2(2) pm, Rall = 0.0494). The structure consists of linearly coordinated cations, [Ag(NH3)2]+, stacked in a staggered conformation and of tetrahedral (ClO4) anions. A first order phase transition was observed between 210 and 200 K and the crystal structure of the low‐temperature modification (monoclinic, P2/m, Z = 4, a = 789.9(5) pm, b = 604.1(5) pm, c = 1290.4(5) pm, β = 97.436(5)°, at 170 K, Rall = 0.0636) has also been solved. Spectroscopic investigations (IR/Raman) have been carried out and the assignment of the spectra is discussed.  相似文献

The crystal structure (orthorhombic, Pbca, Z = 8, a = 943.2(2), b = 697.6(1), c = 1349.0(2) pm, R1(all) = 0.0780) contains [Hg(OH)] = …OH–Hg–OH–Hg… zig zag chains (O–Hg–O angle: 168°, Hg–O–Hg angle: 112°, Hg–OH distance: 212 pm) to which one water molecule is attached loosely. The [Hg(OH)](H2O) chains are connected via bis‐monodentate‐bridging nitrate ions to corrugated layers that are stacked in the [001] direction. Hg2+ has an effective 2+2+2(+1) coordination.  相似文献
