In this Note, we prove that every m-th root Finsler metric with isotropic Landsberg curvature reduces to a Landsberg metric. Then, we show that every m-th root metric with almost vanishing H-curvature has vanishing H-curvature.  相似文献

In this paper, we characterize locally dually flat generalized m-th root Finsler metrics. Then we find a condition under which a generalized m-th root metric is projectively related to a m-th root metric. Finally, we prove that if a generalized m-th root metric is conformal to a m-th root metric, then both of them reduce to Riemannian metrics.  相似文献

Some constructions of projectively flat Finsler metrics   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
In this paper, we find some solutions to a system of partial differential equations that characterize the projectively flat Finsler metrics. Further, we discover that some of these metrics actually have the zero flag curvature.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the relationship between the flag curvature and some non-Riemannian quantities of Finsler metrics of scalar curvature. In particular, we characterize projectively flat Finsler metrics with isotropic S-curvature.  相似文献

The Weyl curvature is one of the fundamental quantities in Finsler geometry because it is a projective invariant. By determining the Weyl curvature of a class of Finsler metrics, we find a lot of Finsler metrics of quadratic Weyl curvature which are non-trivial in the sense that they are not of quadratic Riemann curvature.  相似文献

In this paper, we hall discuss the projective flatness of complex Finsler metrics by investigating the geometry of projective bundles associated with a holomorphic vector bundle.  相似文献

We give a lot of new Finsler metrics of quadratic Weyl curvature which are non‐trivial in the sense that these metrics are not of Weyl type. We also manufacture new Weyl metrics.  相似文献

In this paper, we define some non-Riemannian curvature properties for Cartan spaces. We consider a Cartan space with the mth root metric. We prove that every mth root Cartan space of isotropic Landsberg curvature, or isotropic mean Landsberg curvature, or isotropic mean Berwald curvature reduces to a Landsberg, weakly Landsberg, and weakly Berwald spaces, respectively. Then we show that the mth root Cartan space of almost vanishing H-curvature satisfies H?=?0.  相似文献

One of the fundamental problems in Finsler geometry is to study Finsler metrics of constant(or scalar) curvature. In this paper, we refine and improve Chen-Shen-Zhao equations characterizing Finsler warped product metrics of scalar flag curvature. In particular, we find equations that characterize Finsler warped product metrics of constant flag curvature. Then we improve the Chen-Shen-Zhao result on characterizing Einstein Finsler warped product metrics. As its application we construct explicitly many new warped product Douglas metrics of constant Ricci curvature by using known locally projectively flat spherically symmetric metrics of constant flag curvature.  相似文献

In this paper we obtain the conditions under which two complex Finsler metrics are projective, i.e. have the same geodesics as point sets. Two important classes of such metrics are considered: conformal projective and weakly projective complex Finsler spaces. For each of them we study the transformations of the canonical connection. We pay attention to local projectivity in a pure Hermitian or Kähler space.  相似文献

The S-curvature is one of most important non-Riemannian quantities in Finsler geometry. It delicately related to Riemannian quantities. This note gives an explicit construction of 3-parameter family of non-locally projectively flat Finsler metrics of non-constant isotropic S-curvature. The necessary and sufficient condition that these Finsler metrics are of constant flag curvature is given.  相似文献

Let V be a simple Euclidean Jordan algebra with an associative inner product and let be the corresponding symmetric cone. Let be the compact symmetric space of all primitive idempotents of V. We show that the function s(a,b) defined by is a (the automorphism group of )-invariant complete metric on and it coincides with a natural Finsler distance on We also show that the metric s(a,b) (strictly) contracts any (strict) conformal compression of . In this paper, we study the locally dually flat Finsler metrics which arise from information geometry. An equivalent condition of locally dually flat Finsler metrics is given. We find a new method to construct locally dually flat Finsler metrics by using a projectively flat Finsler metric under the condition that the projective factor is also a Finsler metric. Finally, we find that many known Finsler metrics are locally dually flat Finsler metrics determined by some projectively flat Finsler metrics.  相似文献

In this paper, we study conformal transformations in complex Finsler geometry. We first prove that two weakly Kähler Finsler metrics cannot be conformal. Moreover, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for a strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler metric to be locally conformal weakly Kähler Finsler. Finally, we discuss conformal transformations of a strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler metric, which preserve the geodesics, holomorphic S curvatures and mean Landsberg tensors.

In this paper we introduce in study the projectively related complex Finsler metrics. We prove the complex versions of the Rapcsák’s theorem and characterize the weakly Kähler and generalized Berwald projectively related complex Finsler metrics. The complex version of Hilbert’s Fourth Problem is also pointed out. As an application, the projectiveness of a complex Randers metric is described.  相似文献

We study the behavior of Mañé's action potential associated to a convex superlinear Lagrangian, for bigger than the critical value . We obtain growth estimates for the action potential as a function of . We also prove that the action potential can be written as where is a smooth function and is the distance function associated to a Finsler metric.
