余代数上的Green等价

本文在余代数上定义了五类等价关系,它们是Ｇｒｅｅｎ等价Ｇ,Ｄ,Ｌ,Ｒ,Ｈ．然 后给出了这些等价关系一些基本性质和结构特点．在每个Ｇｒｅｅｎ等价的等价类集上构 造了一种偏序并给出了偏序上半格和格结构的刻划．用Ｇ－,Ｌ－,Ｒ－类分别给出了子余 代数、左余理想、右余理想的结构刻划．进一步地,本文研究了张量积上的Ｇｒｅｅｎ等 价以及余代数同态的Ｇｒｅｅｎ保持性和提升性．作为应用,本文得到了两个不可约余代 数的张量积仍为不可约余代数的一个条件;证明了不可约余代数在Ｇ－保持余代数同 态下的同态像是不可约的．

本文将序半群上的 Ｇｒｅｅｎ’ｓ－关系推广为 Ｇｒｅｅｎ’ｓ＊一关系．给出主序（左、右）＊－理想、主序＊－滤特征描述和弱交换富足序半群的特征．用这些特征证明了一类弱交换富足序半群的结构定理：若序半群Ｓ满足 ,则Ｓ是弱交换富足序半群当且仅当Ｓ是左（右）单序半群｛（ｅ）（Ｓ）｝的半格．

非一致椭圆型方程的广义Green函数

On two problems related to cancellativity

Two decision problems that are related to the properties of right-cancellativity and left-cancellativity, respectively, of the monoidm _T defined by a presentation (Σ;T), are investigated. It is shown that these problems are undecidable in general. In fact, they remain undecidable, even when they are restricted to presentations involving finite Church-Rosser Thue systems. On the other hand, if only finite presentations involving monadic Church-Rosser Thue systems are considered, then these two problems become decidable in polynomial space.     

Thue congruences and the Church-Rosser property

Finite Thue systems that are Church-Rosser and properties of the semigroups such systems present are studied.     

Perverse equivalences and Brouéʼs conjecture

We give a new approach to the construction of derived equivalences between blocks of finite groups, based on perverse equivalences, in the setting of Broué?s abelian defect group conjecture. We provide in particular local and global perversity data describing the principal blocks and the derived equivalences for a number of finite simple groups with Sylow subgroups elementary abelian of order 9. We also examine extensions to automorphism groups in a general setting.

Generalized Green's theories

A generalization is given of the relations and equivalences on a semigroup S associated with J. A. Green by introducing the concepts of Green's pairs and generalized Green's theories first on an arbitrary set X and finally on a semigroup S. Most of the results about the usual Green's relations and equivalences are proved, and it is shown that previous generalizations obtained by Wallace, Anscombre, Marki and Steinfeld, and Pastijn may be obtained as special cases of the theory developed. Dedicated to D. D. Miller in honor of his retirement at the University of Tennessee after 32 years of service.

Source algebra equivalences for blocks¶of finite general linear groups over a fixed field

T. Jost proved that Donovan's conjecture holds for the unipotent blocks of the finite general linear groups over a fixed field. In this paper, we show that the Morita equivalences exhibited by Jost are in fact equivalences between the source algebras of the corresponding blocks, and thus that Puig's conjecture holds for the unipotent blocks of finite general groups over a fixed field. Gluing of idempotents,radical embeddings and two classes of stable equivalences

Stable equivalences are studied between any finite dimensional algebra A with a simple projective module and a simple injective module and an algebra B obtained from A by ‘gluing’ the corresponding idempotents of A; this extends results by Martinez-Villa. Stable equivalences modulo projectives are compared to stable equivalences modulo semisimples, and in either situation a characterization is given for a radical embedding to induce such a stable equivalence.
