Let f be a cusp form of the Hecke space
and let L
f
be the normalized L-function associated to f. Recently it has been proved that L
f
belongs to an axiomatically defined class of functions
. We prove that when λ ≤ 2, L
f
is always almost primitive, i.e., that if L
f
is written as product of functions in
, then one factor, at least, has degree zeros and hence is a Dirichlet polynomial. Moreover, we prove that if
then L
f
is also primitive, i.e., that if L
f
= F
1
F
2 then F
1 (or F
2) is constant; for
the factorization of non-primitive functions is studied and examples of non-primitive functions are given. At last, the subset
of functions f for which L
f
belongs to the more familiar extended Selberg class
is characterized and for these functions we obtain analogous conclusions about their (almost) primitivity in

We prove universality for L-functions L \mathcal{L} from the Selberg class satisfying some mild condition on the Dirichlet coefficients (which might be considered as a prime
number theorem for L \mathcal{L} ). This generalizes a previous universality theorem by the second author, where the L-function was assumed to have a polynomial Euler product satisfying the Ramanujan hypothesis. 相似文献

In this paper we prove the unique factorization of certain subsemigroups of the extended Selberg class of L-functions. These semigroups are generated by the functions of degree 0 and 1. We also consider extensions of such results
and applications to classical L-functions. 相似文献

We prove that the submodule in K-theory which gives the exact value
of the L-function by the Beilinson regulator map at non-critical values for Hecke characters of imaginary quadratic fields K with cl (K) = 1(p-local Tamagawa number conjecture) satisfies that the length of its coimage under the local Soulé regulator map is the p-adic valuation of certain special values of p-adic L-functions associated to the Hecke characters. This result yields immediately, up to Jannsens conjecture, an upper bound for
in terms of the valuation of these p-adic L-functions, where Vp denotes the p-adic realization of a Hecke motive.Received: 4 June 2003 相似文献

Given 1≤ p,q < ∞, let BLpLq be the class of all Banach lattices X such that X is isometrically lattice isomorphic to a band in some Lp(Lq)-Banach lattice. We show that the range of a positive contractive projection on any BLpLq-Banach lattice is itself in BLpLq. It is a consequence of this theorem and previous results that BLpLq is first-order axiomatizable in the language of Banach lattices. By studying the pavings of arbitrary BLpLq-Banach lattices by finite dimensional sublattices that are themselves in this class, we give an explicit set of axioms for
BLpLq. We also consider the class of all sublattices of Lp(Lq)-Banach lattices; for this class (when p/q is not an integer) we give a set of axioms that are similar to Krivine’s well-known axioms for the subspaces of Lp-Banach spaces (when p/2 is not an integer). We also extend this result to the limiting case q = ∞. 相似文献

For i = 1,
, r, let f
i
be newforms of weight 2k
i
for Γ0(N

) with trivial character. We consider the simultaneous non-vanishing problem for the central values of twisted L-functions of f
i
. By using the Shimura correspondence, we give a certain relation between this problem and the kernel fields of 2-adic Galois
representations associated to modular forms.

In this paper we derive estimates for weighted averages of the special values of Dirichlet L-series which generalize similar estimates of David and Pappalardi [1].

Non-homogeneous <Emphasis Type="Italic">Tb</Emphasis> Theorem for Bi-parameter <Emphasis Type="Italic">g</Emphasis>-function 下载免费PDF全文
The main result of this paper is a bi-parameter Tb theorem for Littlewood–Paley g-function, where b is a tensor product of two pseudo-accretive function. Instead of the doubling measure, we work with a product measure μ = μn × μm, where the measures μn and μm are only assumed to be upper doubling. The main techniques of the proof include a bi-parameter b-adapted Haar function decomposition and an averaging identity over good double Whitney regions. Moreover, the non-homogeneous analysis and probabilistic methods are used again. 相似文献

Let E be a Galois extension of ℚ of degree l, not necessarily solvable. In this paper we first prove that the L-function L(s, π) attached to an automorphic cuspidal representation π of cannot be factored nontrivially into a product of L-functions over E.
Next, we compare the n-level correlation of normalized nontrivial zeros of L(s, π1)…L(s, π
k
), where π
j
, j = 1,…, k, are automorphic cuspidal representations of , with that of L(s,π). We prove a necessary condition for L(s, π) having a factorization into a product of L-functions attached to automorphic cuspidal representations of specific , j = 1,…,k. In particular, if π is not invariant under the action of any nontrivial σ ∈ Gal
E/ℚ, then L(s, π) must equal a single L-function attached to a cuspidal representation of and π has an automorphic induction, provided L(s, π) can factored into a product of L-functions over ℚ. As E is not assumed to be solvable over ℚ, our results are beyond the scope of the current theory of base change and automorphic
induction.
Our results are unconditional when m,m
1,…,m
k
are small, but are under Hypothesis H and a bound toward the Ramanujan conjecture in other cases.

We give a simple proof that critical values of any Artin L-function attached to a representation ? with character χ ? are stable under twisting by a totally even character χ, up to the dim ?-th power of the Gauss sum related to χ and an element in the field generated by the values of χ ? and χ over ?. This extends a result of Coates and Lichtenbaum as well as the previous work of Ward. 相似文献

Let n3 be a fixed integer and let F be a global field containing the n-th roots of unity. In this paper we study the collective behavior of the n-th order twists of a fixed Hecke L-series for F. To do so, we introduce a double Dirichlet series in two complex variables (s, w) which is a weighted sum of the twists, and obtain its meromorphic continuation. We also study related sums of n-th order Gauss sums. These objects together satisfy a nonabelian group of functional equations in (s, w) of order 32.

We study the L-series of cubic fourfolds. Our main result is that, if X/C is a special cubic fourfold associated to some polarized K3 surface S, defined over a number field K and satisfying , then X has a model over K such that the L-series of the primitive cohomology of X/K can be expressed in terms of the L-series of S/K. This allows us to compute the L-series for a discrete dense subset of cubic fourfolds in the moduli spaces of certain special cubic fourfolds. We also discuss
a concrete example. 相似文献

Let f ∈S k (M, ψ) be a newform, and let χ be a primitive character of conductor q. We express \({L(\frac{1}{2}+it,f\otimes\chi)}\) as a short combination of bilinear forms involving Kloosterman fractions. Using this we establish the convexity breaking bound \({L\left(\tfrac{1}{2}+it,f\otimes\chi\right)\ll_{f,\varepsilon} [q(1+|t|)]^{\frac{1}{2}-\frac{1}{118}+\varepsilon}}\) for any ε > 0. 相似文献

The lattice vertex operator algebra VL associated to a positive definite even lattice L has an automorphism of order 2 lifted from –1-isometry of L. The fixed point set VL+ of VL for the automorphism is naturally a vertex operator algebra. In this paper, we consider the relations among L-fuzzy sets, rough sets and n-ary polygroup theory. Some properties of (normal) TL-fuzzy n-ary subpolygroups of an n-ary polygroup are first obtained. Using the concept of L-fuzzy sets, the notion of ϑ-lower and T-upper L-fuzzy rough approximation operators with respect to an L-fuzzy set is introduced and some related properties are presented. Then a new algebraic structure called (normal) TL-fuzzy rough n-ary polygroup is defined and investigated. Also, the (strong) homomorphism of ϑ-lower and T-upper L-fuzzy rough approximation operators is studied. 相似文献
