The stereoselectivity in the reactions of the E/Z enecarbamates 1, equipped with the oxazolidinone chiral auxiliary, has been examined for singlet oxygen (1O2), ozone (O3), and 4-phenyl-1,2,4-triazoline-3,5-dione (PTAD) in a variety of solvents as a function of temperature. The oxidative cleavage of the alkenyl functionality by 1O2 and O3 releases the enantiomerically enriched methyldesoxybenzoin (MDB) product. The extent (% ee) as well as the sense (R vs S) of the stereoselectivity in the MDB formation depends on the electronic nature of the oxidant. A high stereoselectivity, substantially dependent on solvent and temperature, is displayed for the reactions with 1O2, whereas the ground-state reactants O3 and PTAD are rather unaffected by solvent and temperature variations. The present comparative analysis clearly substantiates our hypothesis of stereoselective vibrational quenching of the attacking 1O2, whereas O3 and PTAD are only subject to steric impositions. The electronically excited 1O2 is sensitive to all three stereochemically relevant structural characteristics embodied in the chiral enecarbamates, namely the R/S configuration at the C4 position of the oxazolidinone chiral auxiliary, the Z/E geometry of the ‘alkene’ functionality, and R/S configuration at the C3′ position of the enecarbamate side chain.  相似文献

The synthesis characterized by cationic olefin cyclizations accomplished using ketone enol esters and odor of novel (1R,6S)- and (1S,6R)-2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexyl methyl ketones (5) are described. The stereoselective syntheses of (E)-(1R,6S)- and (E)-(1S,6R)-1-(2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexyl)-2-buten-1-one (6) and (1R,6S)-ethyl 2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexylcarboxylate (7), useful raw materials for flavor and fragrance, starting from the (1R,6S)- and (1S,6R)-5 are also described.  相似文献

Tetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloids, (S)-(−)-trolline, (R)-(+)-crispin A, and (R)-(+)-oleracein E, have been synthesized stereoselectively from the both enantiomers of common intermediate (S)-4 and (R)-4. The key step in the synthesis include a stereoselective Bi(OTf)3-catalyzed intramolecular 1,3-chirality transfer reaction of chiral non-racemic amino allylic alcohols (S)-6 and (R)-6 to construct both enantiomers of (E)-1-propenyl tetrahydroisoquinoline 4.  相似文献

A new xanthone, 1,8-dihydroxy-3-methoxy-6-methylxantone and a new polyketide derivative, (4R,5S,6E,8Z)-ethyl-4-((E)-but-1-enyl)-5-hydroxypentdeca-6,8-dienoate, together with 20 known secondary metabolites, including 2 steroids, 4 xanthones, 10 anthraquinones, 2 triterpenoids, 1 fatty ester, and (E)-eicos-14-enoic acid, were isolated from the leaves of Cassia obtusifolia. To the best of our knowledge, the last compound was isolated from a natural source for the first time. The structures of all the compounds were elucidated on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR experiments. Some of the compounds were tested against Salmonella typhi, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans ATCC 9002, and Candida tropicalis, they did not show any activity.  相似文献

3,6-Bis(styryl)pyridazines 1a-f with 2-6 alkoxy groups show on irradiation in solution a stereoisomerization which leads to a photostationary state of (E,E)- and (E,Z)-isomer. Sensitizing and quenching experiments reveal that the (E,E)→(E,Z) route is a pure triplet process, whereas the (E,Z)→(E,E) route can have a minor singlet by-reaction.Hexyloxy or dodecyloxy chains on the terminal benzene rings convey the (E,E)-isomers of compounds 1a,b,d-f thermotropic liquid crystalline properties. In particular SA, SC, and SF/I phases were studied with regard to their photochemical behavior. Depending on the system, photodegradation of the smectic phase to the isotropic melt (S→I) or photoinduction of the smectic phase (I→S) can be achieved by alteration of the (E,E)/(E,Z) ratio. A gas chromatographic–positive chemical ionisation-tandem mass spectrometric (GC–PCI-MS/MS) method for the simultaneous determination of 10 oxidative metabolites of the monoterpenoid hydrocarbons α-pinene, (R)-limonene, and Δ3-carene ((+)-3-carene) in human urine was developed and tested for the monoterpene biomonitoring of the general population (n = 36). The method involves enzymatic cleavage of the glucuronides followed by solid-supported liquid–liquid extraction and derivatisation using a two-step reaction with N,O-bis(trimethylsilyl)-trifluoroacetamide and N-(trimethylsilyl)imidazole. The method proved to be both sensitive and reliable with detection limits ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 μg L−1. In contrast to the frequent and distinct quantities of (1S,2S,4R)-limonene-1,2-diol, the (1R,2R,4R)-stereoisomer could not be detected. The expected metabolite of (+)-3-carene, 3-caren-10-ol was not detected in any of the samples. All other metabolites were detected in almost all urine samples.  相似文献

A highly stereoselective method for the synthesis of (E)- and (Z)-α-substituted cinnamates in good yield has been achieved by dehydration reaction of anti- and syn-α-substituted-β-hydroxyphenylpropiolate using EDC. This facile method has been used to synthesize various (E)- and (Z)-α-substituted cinnamates and (E)- and (Z)-α-alkylidene-γ-butyrolactones. The reaction mechanism of this highly stereospecific dehydration using EDC can be elucidated by the ω-dimethylamino group of EDC, which is believed to facilitate the deprotonation step.  相似文献

An efficient one-pot stereoselective synthesis of trisubstituted (E)-2-methylalk-2-enoic acids has been accomplished by treatment of unactivated Baylis-Hillman adducts, 3-hydroxy-2-methylenealkanoates, with Al-NiCl2·6H2O in methanol at room temperature followed by hydrolysis. The method has been applied to the synthesis of three important insect pheromones, (4S,2E)-2,4-dimethyl-2-hexenoic acid, (+)-(S)-manicone and (+)-(S)-normanicone.  相似文献

threo and erythro diastereoisomers of the constrained amino acid (βMe)Phe can be obtained separately on a multigram scale through a three-step synthesis from the corresponding Z and E isomers of 2-phenyl-4(α-phenylethylidene)-5(4H)-oxazolone. The 5(4H)-oxazolones are readily available from acetophenone and hippuric acid. The four enantiomerically pure isomers of β-methylphenylalanine, (2R,3R)-(βMe)Phe, (2S,3S)-(βMe)Phe, (2R,3S)-(βMe)Phe and (2S,3R)-(βMe)Phe, have been prepared by HPLC resolution of the racemic precursors methyl threo (or erythro)-2-benzamide-3-phenylbutanoates.  相似文献

The ether extract of the females of white-spotted longicorn beetle Anoplophora malasiaca showed activity as contact sex pheromone to males. The extract was fractionated, and a pheromonal activity was revealed only when three fractions; n-hexane, n-hexane/EtOAc 9:1, and EtOAc were blended. The relative structures of gomadalactone A, B, and C, three active components isolated from the EtOAc fraction, were determined by spectroscopic studies to be (1S,4R,5S)-5-hydroxy-4-[(E)-7-hydroxy-4-methylhept-3-enyl]-4,8-dimethyl-3-oxabicyclo[3.3.0]octan-7-en-2,6-dione, (1R,4R,5R)-5-hydroxy-4-[(E)-7-hydroxy-4-methylhept-3-enyl]-4,8-dimethyl-3-oxabicyclo[3.3.0]octan-7-en-2,6-dione, and (1S,4R,5S,8S)-5-hydroxy-4-[(E)-7-hydroxy-4-methylhept-3-enyl]-4,8-dimethyl-3-oxabicyclo[3.3.0]octan-2,6-dione, respectively.  相似文献

Studies of thermal IMDA cyclizations of (1E,7E)-1-nitro-deca-1,7,9-trienes and (1E,3Z,7E)-1-nitro-deca-1,3,7,9-tetraenes have been examined. Reactions of these nitroalkenes proceed via transition states featuring characteristics of asymmetric stretch asynchronicity and result in stereoselective formation of trans-fused decalin products. Substantial rate acceleration is observed for IMDA cyclizations exemplified by triene 14 due to steric repulsions of substituents in the tethering chain which promote facile stereocontrolled formation of trans-fused 26.  相似文献

Several di- and trisubstituted primary (E)-allylic alcohols have been prepared from the corresponding terminal olefins in a highly stereoselective manner (>20:1 E/Z) by sequencing olefin cross-metathesis (CM) with hydride reduction (DIBAL-H) in good yields utilizing only commercially available reagents in a one-pot fashion. The method is a reliable alternative to the direct CM of terminal olefins with allyl alcohol, which is not always stereoselective but rather highly substrate dependent.  相似文献

Stabilised tributylphosphonium ylids Bu3PCHCH(EWG), where EWG is CO2Me, CO2tBu or CN, react with protected sugar lactones under mild conditions to give high yields of glycosylidene derivatives (4 and 5) with good Z/E selectivity. X-Ray crystallography shows that in the solid state the tetra-O-benzyl protected (Z)-glucosylideneacetonitrile (Z)-4c adopts a conformation intermediate between a boat and a twist-boat, whereas the isomeric galactose derivative (Z)-5c exists as a distorted chair. NMR data suggest that in solution chair-like conformations are again more favoured for galactosylidene derivatives than for their glucosylidene analogues. Solution phase NMR studies and molecular modelling show that the (E)-double bond geometry disfavours the chair-like geometry of the ring, even in the galactose series; this is consistent with the avoidance of allylic 1,3-strain. Reduction of the glycosylidene double bond to give stereoselective formation of β-C-glycoside derivatives may be achieved by using Et3SiH-CF3CO2H or Et3SiH-BF3·Et2O.  相似文献

SmI2-induced reaction of (E)-β-alkoxyvinyl (R)- and (S)-sulfoxides with aldehydes effected a highly stereoselective intramolecular cyclization to give 2,6-anti-2,3-cis- and 2,6-syn-2,3-trans-tetrahydropyran-3-ols, respectively. 2-Methylprop-2-ene-1-sulfonyl fluorides can be easily prepared via the ene reaction of methallylsilanes and SO2. In the presence of a base, aldehydes and 2-methylprop-2-ene-1-sulfonyl fluorides give 1,3-(E) and (Z)-dienes. Their (Z)→(E) isomerization by classical means fails or leads to their polymerization. It is shown that SO2 can isomerize 1-aryl-3-methyl-1,3-dienes at low temperature, without formation of sulfolenes (cheletropic addition/elimination). Preliminary mechanistic studies suggest that SO2 adds to 1,3-dienes forming 1,4-diradical intermediates that are responsible for the (Z)→(E) isomerizations.  相似文献

A simple, mild and efficient stereoselective synthesis of (Z)- and (E)-allyl bromides and iodides has been developed by treatment of the Baylis-Hillman adducts with lithium bromide and iodide, respectively, in methylene chloride catalyzed by silica supported sodium hydrogen sulfate at room temperature. The role of various solvents, different reacting metallic halides, nature of the adducts and activity of several heterogeneous catalysts on the yields and stereochemistry of the products have been thoroughly studied.  相似文献
