The envelope of holomorphy of an arbitrary domain in a two-dimensional Stein manifold is identified with a connected component
of the set of equivalence classes of analytic discs immersed into the Stein manifold with boundary in the domain. This implies,
in particular, that for each of its points the envelope of holomorphy contains an embedded (non-singular) Riemann surface
(and also an immersed analytic disc) passing through this point with boundary contained in the natural embedding of the original
domain into its envelope of holomorphy. Moreover, it says, that analytic continuation to a neighbourhood of an arbitrary point
of the envelope of holomorphy can be performed by applying the Continuity Principle once. Another corollary concerns representation
of certain elements of the fundamental group of the domain by boundaries of analytic discs. A particular case is the following.
Given a contact three-manifold with Stein filling, any element of the fundamental group of the contact manifold whose representatives
are contractible in the filling can be represented by the boundary of an immersed analytic disc. 相似文献

The PDE-preserving operators O on the space of nuclearly entire functions of bounded type HNb(E) on a Banach space E are characterized. An operator is PDE-preserving when it preserves homogenous solutions to homogeneous convolution equations.
We establish a one to one correspondence between O and a set Σ of sequences of entire functionals, i.e. exponential type functions. In this way, algebraic structures on Σ,
such as ring structures, can be carried over to O and vice versa. In particular, it follows that O is a non-commutative ring (algebra) with unity with respect to composition and the convolution operators form a commutative
subring (subalgebra). We discuss range and kernel properties, for the operators in O, and characterize the projectors (onto polynomial spaces) in O by determining the corresponding elements in Σ.

Let U and V be convex and balanced open subsets of the Banach spaces X and Y, respectively. In this paper we study the following question: given two Fréchet algebras of holomorphic functions of bounded type on U and V, respectively, that are algebra isomorphic, can we deduce that X and Y (or X* and Y*) are isomorphic? We prove that if X* or Y* has the approximation property and Hwu(U) and Hwu(V) are topologically algebra isomorphic, then X* and Y* are isomorphic (the converse being true when U and V are the whole space). We get analogous results for Hb(U) and Hb(V), giving conditions under which an algebra isomorphism between Hb(X) and Hb(Y) is equivalent to an isomorphism between X* and Y*. We also obtain characterizations of different algebra homomorphisms as composition operators, study the structure of the spectrum of the algebras under consideration and show the existence of homomorphisms on Hb(X) with pathological behaviors. 相似文献

In this paper spaces of entire functions of Θ-holomorphy type of bounded type are introduced and results involving these spaces are proved. In particular, we “construct an algorithm” to obtain a duality result via the Borel transform and to prove existence and approximation results for convolution equations.
