A new extraction system is designed for a penning ion source DUHOCAMIS(dual hollow cathode ion source for metal ion beams)being installed at the Institute of Heavy Ion Physics,Peking University.We have analyzed theoretically the central particle trajectories in the extraction region for ions having different q/m ratios and then compared our results with the simulation results of CST(Computer Simulation Technology)software.The validity of the system is verified and some analytical formulas are obtained which will be used for the optimization of the extraction system as well as the experimental setup.  相似文献

For the purpose of producing high intensity, multiply charged metal ion beams, the dual hollow cathode ion source for metal ions (DUHOCAMIS) was derived from the hot cathode Penning ion source combined with the hollow cathode sputtering experiments in 2007. To investigate the behavior of this discharge geometry in a stronger magnetic bottle-shaped field, a new test bench for DUHOCAMIS with a high magnetic bottle-shaped field up to 0.6 T has been set up at the Peking University. The experiments with magnetic fields from 0.13 T to 0.52 T have indicated that the discharge behavior is very sensitive to the magnetic flux densities. The slope of discharge curves in a very wide range can be controlled by changing the magnetic field as well as regulated by adjusting the cathode heating power; the production of metallic ions would be much greater than gas ions with the increased magnetic flux density; and the magnetic field has a much higher influence on the DHCD mode than on the PIG mode.  相似文献

空间推进所用的电子回旋共振离子源(ECRIS)应具有体积小、效率高的特点. 本文研究的ECRIS使用永磁体环产生磁场, 有效减小了体积, 该离子源利用微波在磁场中加热电子, 电子与中性气体发生电离碰撞产生等离子体. 磁场在微波加热电子的过程中起关键作用, 同时影响离子源内等离子体的约束和输运. 通过比较四种磁路结构离子源的离子电流引出特性来研究磁场对10 cm ECRIS性能的影响. 实验发现: 在使用氩气的条件下, 特定结构的离子源可引出160 mA的离子电流, 最高推进剂利用率达60%, 最小放电损耗为120 W·A-1; 所有离子源均存在多个工作状态, 工作状态在微波功率、气体流量、引出电压变化时会发生突变. 离子源发生状态突变时的微波功率、气体流量的大小与离子源内磁体的位置有关. 通过比较不同离子源的引出离子束流、放电损耗、气体利用率、工作稳定性的差异, 归纳了磁场结构对此种ECRIS引出特性的影响规律, 分析了其中的机理. 实验结果表明: 保持输入微波功率、气体流量、引出电压不变时, 增大共振区的范围、减小共振区到栅极的距离, 离子源能引出更大的离子电流; 减小共振区到微波功率入口、气体入口的距离能降低维持离子源高状态所需的最小微波功率和最小气体流量, 提高气体利用率, 但会导致放电损耗增大. 研究结果有助于深化对此类离子源工作过程的认识, 为其设计和性能优化提供参考.  相似文献

An electrocardiographic (ECG) unit suitable for cardiac-synchronized nuclear magnetic resonance imaging in high magnetic fields is presented. The unit includes lossy transmission lines as ECG leads in order to supress radio frequency (RF) interference in the electrocardiogram. The nonlinear ac stationary response of the magnetization of noninteracting uniaxial single-domain ferromagnetic particles acted on by superimposed dc and ac magnetic fields applied along the anisotropy axis is evaluated from the Fokker-Planck equation, expressed as an infinite hierarchy of recurrence equations for Fourier components of the relaxation functions governing longitudinal relaxation of the magnetization. The exact solution of this hierarchy comprises a matrix continued fraction, allowing one to evaluate the ac nonlinear response and reversal time of the magnetization. For weak ac fields, the results agree with perturbation theory. It is shown that the dc bias field changes substantially the magnetization dynamics leading to new nonlinear effects. In particular, it is demonstrated that for a nonzero bias field as the magnitude of the ac field increases the reversal time first increases and having attained its maximum at some critical value of the ac field, decreases exponentially.  相似文献

采用CST电磁工作室和粒子工作室软件对负离子试验源的会切磁场、过滤磁场、电子偏转磁场的位形及引出束流的光学进行了模拟计算。通过扫描会切磁体、过滤磁体、电子偏转磁体的表面磁场参数,确定了最佳的磁体结构和运行参数:周边6圈会切磁体,会切磁体表面磁场4kG,过滤磁体表面磁场5.5kG,电子偏转磁体表面磁场2.5kG,引出电压5~20kV,加速电压50~160kV,引出负离子束的光学性能满足NBI注入要求。  相似文献

It is expected that the newly designed ion source extraction system will transport a very large percentage of the beam without deteriorating the beam optics, which is designed to deliver an H- beam at 30 keV. The accelerator assembly consists of three circular aperture electrodes made of copper. The simulation study was focused on finding parameter sets that raise the beam perveance as large as possible and which reduce the beam divergence as low as possible. Ion beams of the highest quality are extracted whenever the half-angular divergence is minimum, for which the perveance current intensity and the extraction gap have optimum values. The triode extraction system is designed and optimized by using CST software (for Particle Beam Simulations). The physical design of the extraction system is given in this paper. From the simulation results, it is concluded that it is possible to achieve this goal by decreasing the thickness of the plasma electrode, shortening the first gap, and adjusting the acceleration electrode voltage.  相似文献

设计了中国散裂中子源(CSNS)快循环同步加速器(RCS)引出系统快脉冲冲击磁铁样机。为降低磁铁和其电源的研制难度,保证运行的可靠性,决定采用美国散裂中子源(SNS)的Single-turn结构。根据磁铁的设计指标,给出了磁铁设计要求铁芯材料选择方法、整体的结构设计以及如何对磁铁进行定位和准直,并采用Opera程序进行模拟计算,结果表明:当铁芯长度为220 mm时,磁有效长度大约为302 mm;磁感应密度最大的地方在4个内角上,约为0.215 T;在133 mm×200 mm的平面范围内,磁场均匀性优于±0.8%。理论分析和Opera程序模拟均验证了磁铁结构方案的可行性。  相似文献

We have developed a new heavy ion production system which uses a combination of an RFQ and a laser ion source. Induced plasma by a laser shot is delivered to the RFQ without an extraction electrode. We named this new idea ‘direct plasma injection scheme (DPIS)’. In 2004, a new RFQ was built for demonstrating the capability of the DPIS. After a few months of commissioning period, we could obtain more than 60 mA of carbon beam from the RFQ. This new scheme could be applied to cancer therapy facilities and high energy nuclear physics accelerator complexes.  相似文献

根据磁多极场的对称性,首先导出了磁多极场磁场分量的泰勒级数展开式,定义了磁多极场的场参数,然后根据毕奥-萨伐尔定律,导出了马鞍型磁多极场线圈的场参数理论计算公式.对各个场参数数量级的大小进行了分析,找出了场参数的递推规律,给出了场参数高阶导数的计算方法,从而能够准确计算整个空间的磁场值.还从简单单根导线计算结果过渡到多根导线或具有某种连续分布的情况. 这对于磁二极场、磁四极场、磁六极场等的应用提供了可靠的理论依据. 关键词: 磁多极场 场参数 马鞍型线圈  相似文献

磁场点测台是加速器领域测量磁铁和波荡器等磁元件的主要设备之一, 其需要在快速精确的控制系统支持下工作。中国工程物理研究院应用电子学研究所近期搭建了一套磁场点测台, 并基于通用运动控制器(UMAC), 设计开发了该磁场点测台的控制系统。系统采用了上位机工控机和下位机UMAC两级计算机控制的层级结构, 可以充分发挥其各自优势: 下位机UMAC可以快速、精确地控制电机动作, 因此下位机程序负责控制六轴运动平台以go-stop模式运动; 上位机工控机数据处理和存储能力强, 因此上位机人机交互界面负责收集、记录和显示磁场数据, 并负责设定磁场测量参数和监控运行状态。两级计算机动作的同时性通过触发信号来保证。  相似文献

在均匀强磁场中,当氢原子的哈密顿量中B2项不能忽略时,氢原子的库仑场对称性遭到破坏,能级简并被全部解除.在应用变分法和数值法计算氢原子的能级过程中,计算十分复杂,而应用微扰法求解氢原子的能级,存在解久期方程的n2高阶行列式的困难.本文应用简并态微扰理论和球谐函数的性质,得到久期方程中非零微扰矩阵元普遍表达式.根据非零微扰矩阵元普遍表达式的性质,可以将氢原子塞曼效应久期方程的n2高阶行列式分解成1阶到n阶共n个低阶行列式的乘积,得到氢原子塞曼效应久期方程的简化公式,使得求解均匀强磁场中氢原子塞曼效应能级过程简化.而且由该公式可以得到氢原子在低能态时塞曼效应能级的解析解.根据该久期方程的简化公式计算了n=3氢原子塞曼效应一级近似能级.  相似文献

We derive the exact solution of the Boltzmann kinetic equation for the three-dimensional Lorentz model in the presence of a constant and uniform magnetic field. The velocity distribution of the electrons reduces exponentially fast to its spherically symmetric component. In the long time hydrodynamic limit there remains only the diffusion process governed by an anisotropic diffusion tensor.
