A new organically templated layered uranium phosphate fluoride, [(CH(3))(2)NH(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)][(UO(2))(2)F(2)(HPO(4))(2)] has been synthesized by hydrothermal reaction of UO(3), H(3)PO(4), HF, and (CH(3))(2)NCH(2)CH(2)N(CH(3))(2) at 140 degrees C. [(CH(3))(2)NH(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)][(UO(2))(2)F(2)(HPO(4))(2)] has a layered crystal structure consisting of seven-coordinated UO(5)F(2) pentagonal bipyramids and four-coordinated HPO(4) tetrahedra. Each anionic layer containing three-, four-, and six-membered rings is separated by [(CH(3))(2)NH(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)](2+) cations. The [(CH(3))(2)NH(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)](2+) cations may be readily exchanged with the M(2+) ions (M = Ba, Sr and Ca) in water to give high crystalline AE(UO(2))(2)(PO(4))(2).6H(2)O (AE = Ca, Sr, Ba).  相似文献

Under mild hydrothermal conditions, a new organically templated uranyl zinc phosphate, [H 2bipy] 2[(UO 2) 6Zn 2(PO 3OH) 4(PO 4) 4].H 2O ( UZnP-2), has been synthesized. Structural analysis reveals that UZnP-2 is constructed from UO 7 pentagonal bipyramids that are linked into edge-sharing dimers that are in turn joined together by ZnO 4 and PO 4 tetrahedra to form a three-dimensional network. Intersecting channels occur along the a, b, and c axes. These channels house the diprotonated 4,4'-bipyridyl cations and water molecules. Ion-exchange experiments demonstrate that replacement of the 4,4'-bipyridyl cations by alkali and alkaline-earth metal cations results in a rearrangement of the framework. Further characterization of UZnP-2 is provided by Raman and fluorescence spectroscopy. The latter method reveals strong emission from the uranyl moieties with characteristic fine structure.  相似文献

By synthesizing the novel molybdenum arsenate complexes, we have obtained eight new structures, namely, (4,4'-bipy)[Zn(4,4'-bipy)2(H2O)2]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].7H2O, 1, [Zn(phen)2(H2O)]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].4H2O, 2, [Zn(2,2'-bipy)2(H2O)]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].4H2O, 3, [Zn(H4,4'-bipy)2(H2O)4][(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].8H2O, 4, (H24,4'-bipy)[CuI(4,4'-bipy)]2[H2AsV2Mo6O26].H2O, 5, (H24,4'-bipy)3[AsV2Mo6O26].4H2O, 6, (H24,4'-bipy)3[AsV2Mo6O26(H2O)].4H2O, 7, and (H24,4'-bipy)2.5(H3O)[AsV2Mo6O26(H2O)].1.25H2O, 8 (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine, 2,2'-bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). These structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and were further characterized by elemental analysis, IR, XPS spectroscopy, and TG analysis. The structure of 1 is constructed from two-dimensional square gridlike sheets linked by the polyanions [(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18]4- via hydrogen-bonding interactions to form a three-dimensional supramolecular framework with two types of channels. Compounds 2 and 3 display similar bisupported structures. Compound 4 features a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture. Compound 5 possesses a 1D infinite ladderlike ribbon. Compounds 6-8 are discrete structures exhibiting three isomeric forms of [HxAs2Mo6O26](6-x)-. Furthermore, compound 8 represents a new isomer B'-[As2Mo6O26(H2O)]6-. Three new uranyl-organic coordination polymers (UO2)8(NDC)12(4,4'-bipyH2)3(4,4'-bipyH)3 (1), (UO2)3O[Ag(2,2'-bipy)2]2(NDC)3 (2), and (UO2)2(NDC)2(2,2'-bipy)2 (3), where NDC=1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylate and bipy=bipyridine, have been prepared in hydrothermal conditions. Both 1 and 2 possess a 2D structure while 3 is composed of 1D zigzag chains. In 1 there are mononuclear pentagonal-bipyramidal U-O polyhedra and 1D channels filled with 4,4'-bipy molecules, whereas in 2 there are mononuclear hexagonal-bipyramidal U-O polyhedra and tetranuclear pentagonal-bipyramidal U-O clusters which form 2D channels with occluded [Ag(2,2'-bipy)2]+ counterions. In 3 both the NDC and the bipy ligands coordinate to uranyl centers, leading to hexagonal-bipyramidal polyhedra which are connected to form 1D zigzag chains. Under UV or visible irradiation, 1 and 2 degrade rhodamine B with similar efficiency. The correlation between photocatalytic reaction rate and oxygen concentration for 1 and 2 has also been elucidated. Four structurally diverse complexes, {[Pb(Hssal)(2,2'-bipy)](4,4'-bipy)0.5}n (1), [Pb2(Hssal)2(2,2'-bipy)2(4,4'-bipy)(H2O)2] (2), [Pb(Hssal)(phen)(4,4'-bipy)0.5]n (3), and [Pb(Hssal)(2,2'-bipy)(bpe)0.5]n (4), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, thermogravimetric analyses, fluorescent spectra, and single-crystal X-ray analyses, where Hssal2- is doubly deprotonated 5-sulfosalicylate, 2,2'-bipy is 2,2'-bipyridine, phen is 1,10-phenanthroline, 4,4'-bipy is 4,4'-bipyridine, and bpe is trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene. The structure of complex 1 possesses a one-dimensional ladderlike chain with guest 4,4'-bipy molecules, while the molecular structure of complex 2 is a dimeric species with a coordinating 4,4'-bipy ligand. Complex 3 consists of a one-dimensional ladderlike chain with monodentate 4,4'-bipyridine but somewhat different from that of complex 1. Complex 4 is a two-dimensional layer structure. In 1-4, all 5-sulfosalicylates are doubly deprotonated, and all carboxylate groups of Hssal2- chelate to PbII ions; however, the coordination modes of sulfonyl groups are different: syn-syn bridging in 1, noncoordinating in 2, syn-skew bridging in 3, and one-atom bridging in 4. The noncoordinating mode of sulfonate in PbII complexes containing 5-sulfosalicylate is first reported in this presentation. The 4,4'-bipy ligands act as guest molecules in 1, dimeric linkers in 2, and monodentates in 3. The pi-pi stacking interactions can be observed in complexes 1-3, whereas there is no such interaction in complex 4. The coordination spheres of PbII ions in 1-4 are controlled by three factors: the activity of a lone pair of electrons, weak Pb-O interactions, and pi-pi stacking interactions. The PbII lone pair in 4 is inactive, whereas in 1-3, they are stereochemically active. The thermal stability and fluorescent property of complexes 1-4 are different from those of PbII complexes only containing chelating ligands, [Pb(Hssal)(2,2'-bipy)(DMF)]n (5), and [Pb(Hssal)(2,2'-bipy)(H2O)]n (6), and [Pb(Hssal)(phen)(DMF)]n (7).  相似文献

Mild-hydrothermal reactions in acidic medium using 1,3-diaminopropane, 1,4-diaminobutane, and 1,5-diaminopentane as structure directing agents led to three-dimensional (3D) uranyl phosphates (CH?)?(NH?)?{[(UO?)(H?O)][(UO?)(PO?)]?} (C3U5P4), (CH?)?(NH?)?{[(UO?)(H?O)][(UO?)(PO?)]?} (C4U5P4) and (CH?)5(NH?)?{[(UO?)(H?O)][(UO?)(PO?)]?} (C5U5P4). The structures of (C4U5P4) and (C5U5P4) were solved in the space group Cmc2? using single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. The compounds are isostructural to the corresponding uranyl vanadates and contain the same 3D inorganic framework built from uranyl-phosphate layers of uranophane-type anion topology pillared by [UO?(H?O)] pentagonal bipyramids. In neutral or basic medium the alkyl diamines decompose to give ammonium uranyl phosphate trihydrate. In the same conditions by using ethylenediamine, unexpected reduction of uranium(VI) to uranium(IV) occurs leading to the formation of (CH?)?(NH?)?[U(PO?)?] (C2UP2) single crystals. C2UP2 undergoes a reversible phase transition from triclinic to monoclinic symmetry at about 230 °C. The structure of the two forms results from the stacking of inorganic layers (∞)1[U(PO?)?]2?, and organic layers containing ethylene diammonium ions, the two layers being linked by hydrogen bonds. Single crystals of (CH?)?(NH?)?[PO?OH] (C2HP) are formed by evaporation of the solution after filtering of C2UP2 single crystals. The structure of C2HP contains infinite (∞)1[PO?OH]2? chains connected by (CH?)?(NH?)?2? ions through hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

A novel uranium heteropolyoxometalate, [H(3)O](4)[Ni(H(2)O)(3)](4){Ni[(UO(2))(PO(3)C(6)H(4)CO(2))](3)(PO(4)H)}(4)·2.72H(2)O, has been prepared under mild hydrothermal conditions using the diethyl(2-ethoxycarbonylphenyl)phosphonate ligand and in situ ligand synthesis of the HPO(4)(2-) anion. The cluster is derived from a common UO(7), pentagonal bipyramid and is constructed by employing nickel(II) metal ions as linkers. The 3d-5f heteropolyoxometalate core incorporates 12 classical pentagonal uranyl groups and four Ni(2+) octahedral units.  相似文献

Approaches to the assembly of (eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3-based supramolecular compounds from two preformed incomplete cubane-like clusters [PPh4][(eta5-C5Me5)WS3(CuX)3] (X = CN, 1a; X = Br, 1b) have been investigated. Treatment of 1a with LiBr/1,4-pyrazine (1,4-pyz), pyridine (py), LiCl/py, or 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bipy) and treatment of 1b with 4,4'-bipy gave rise to a new set of W/Cu/S cluster-based compounds, [Li[((eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu3-Br))2(mu-CN)3].C6H6]infinity (2), [(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu-CN)2(py)]infinity (3), [[PPh4][(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu3-Cl)(mu-CN)(CN)].py]infinity (4), [PPh4]2[(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(CN)2]2(mu-CN)2.(4,4'-bipy) (5), and [[(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3Br(mu-Br)(4,4'-bipy)].Et2O]infinity (6). The structures of 2-6 have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. Compound 2 displays a 1D ladder-shaped chain structure built of square-like [[(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu3-Br)(mu-CN)]4](mu-CN)2(2-) anions via two pairs of Cu-mu-CN-Cu bridges. Compound 3 consists of a single 3D diamond-like network in which each (eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3 unit, serving as a tetrahedral node, interconnects with four other nearby units through Cu-mu-CN-Cu bridges. Compound 4 contains a 1D zigzag chain array made of cubane-like [(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu3-Cl)(mu-CN)(CN)]- anions linked by a couple of Cu-mu-CN-Cu bridges. Compound 5 contains a dimeric structure in which the two incomplete cubane-like [(eta5-C5Me5)WS3(CuCN)2(mu-CN)]- anions are strongly held together via a pair of Cu-mu-CN-Cu bridges. Compound 6 contains a 2D brick-wall layer structure in which dimers of [(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3Br(4,4'-bipy)]2 are interconnected via four Cu-mu-Br-Cu bridges. The successful construction of (eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3-based supramolecular compounds 2-6 from the geometry-fixed clusters 1a and 1b may expand the scope of the rational design and construction of cluster-based supramolecular assemblies.  相似文献

Two inorganic-organic hybrid compounds with the formula M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)V(2)Se(2)O(10) (M = Co, Ni) were hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compounds Co(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)V(2)Se(2)O(10) (1) and Ni(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)V(2)Se(2)O(10) (2), which are structural analogues, crystallize in the triclinic space group Ponemacr; with crystal data a = 7.9665(3) A, b = 8.1974(3) A, c = 13.8096(4) A, alpha = 85.704(2) degrees, beta = 73.5180(10) degrees, gamma = 75.645(2) degrees, V = 837.76(5) A(3), and Z = 2 and a = 7.9489(19) A, b = 8.128(2) A, c = 13.709 A, alpha = 85.838(6) degrees, beta = 73.736(8) degrees, gamma = 75.594(9) degrees, V = 823.5(4) A(3), and Z = 2, respectively. [M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)V(2)Se(2)O(10)] (M = Co, Ni) have a three-dimensional structure and consist of two subunits, [(VO(2))(SeO(3))](-) infinite chains and [M(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)](2+) fragments. The [(VO(2))(SeO(3))](-) chains are composed of [V(2)Se(4)O(14)](4)(-) clusters linked by VO(4)N triangular bipyramids. The 4,4'-bipy molecule as a bifunctional organic ligand is directly linked to Co or Ni and V atoms, affording the three-dimensionality. The compounds were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and differential thermal and thermogravimetric analyses.  相似文献

A series of novel organic-inorganic assemblies, [Zn(Meen)2]2[(4,4'-bipy)Zn2As8V12O40(H2O)] (1), [Zn(en)2(H2O)][Zn(en)2(4,4'-bipy)Zn2As8V12O40(H2O)].3H2O (2), [[Zn(en)3]2[Zn2As8V12O40(H2O)]].4H2O.0.25bipy (3) and [Zn2(en)5][[Zn(en)2][(bpe)HZn2As8V12O40(H2O)]2].7H2O (4) [en = ethylenediamine, Meen = 1,2-diaminopropane, 4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine, and bpe = 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane] constructed from organically modified Zn-substituted polyoxovanadates and zinc organoamine subunits have been synthesized. Each anion cluster of compound 1 is directly linked by the 4,4'-bipy ligand into a one-dimensional (1D) straight chain. The secondary metal complex [Zn(Meen)2]2+ acts as an isolated countercation. The 1D chain structure of 2 is similar to that of 1 but sinuate because of the secondary metal complex [Zn(en)2]2+ decorated on the anion cluster. The en ligands covalently bonding to the surface anion of 3 not only support the secondary metal complex [Zn(en)2]2+ but also coordinate to another anion through the secondary metal complex [Zn(en)2]2+ bridge to form an "eight-shaped" chiral helix. The unprecedented 2D layer of compound 4 with large nanosized inner rectangular cavities [33.669(6) x 14.720(8) A] is successfully achieved through the anion clusters polymerized first into chains by flexible organic ligands and then secondary metal complexes bridged between the chains. The different coordination abilities and geometries of the bidentate organodiamine ligands used in the four-reaction systems play important roles in the formation of the final structures: from straight chains to sinuate chains, to helical chiral chains, and finally to a 2D layer with helices.  相似文献

The new uranyl molybdate Ag(6)[(UO(2))(3)O(MoO(4))(5)] (1) with an unprecedented uranyl molybdate sheet has been synthesized at 650 degrees C. The structure (monoclinic, C2/c, a = 16.4508(14) A, b = 11.3236(14) A, c = 12.4718(13) A, beta = 100.014(4)(o), V = 2337.4(4) A(3), Z = 4) contains [(UO(2))(3)O(MoO(4))(5)] sheets composed of triuranyl [(UO(2))(3)O] clusters that are connected by MoO(4) tetrahedra. The topology of the uranyl molybdate sheet in 1 represents a major departure from sheets observed in other uranyl compounds. Of the approximately 120 known inorganic uranyl compounds containing sheets of polyhedra, 1 is the only structure that contains trimers of uranyl pentagonal bipyramids that are connected only by the sharing of vertexes with other polyhedra. The sheets are parallel to (001) and are linked by Ag cations.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of (NH(4))(6)Mo(7)O(24).4H(2)O, CuCl(2).2H(2)O, and 4,4'-bipyridine yields bipyridine-ligated copper-trimolybdate monohydrate [Cu(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(Mo(3)O(10))].H(2)O in the monoclinic system with space group of C(2/c) and cell parameters of a = 15.335(2) A, b = 15.535(2) A, c = 15.106(2) A, beta = 101.162(2) degrees, V = 3530.7(9) A(3), and Z = 8. Its structure consists of one-dimensional infinite ([Mo3O10]2-)( infinity ) chains linked through [Cu2(H2O)2(4,4'-bipy)] units. The Mo-O chain contains distorted [MoO(6)] octahedra connected through corner-sharing oxygen atoms into infinite chains along the c direction and each chain is located in the channel formed by four adjacent crossing chains of [Cu(4,4'-bipy)(H2O)](n)(2n+). The crystal shows weak conductivity through Mo-O chain along the c direction and insulating property along either a or b direction. Furthermore, a crystalline bimetallic oxide, CuMo3O10, forms when the title compound undergoes thermal treatment in N(2) atmosphere after the complete removal of the ligands.  相似文献

A family of inorganic-organic hybrid vanadium selenites with zero-, one-, two-, and three-dimensional structures, (1,10-phen)(2)V(2)SeO(7), (2,2'-bipy)VSeO(4), (4,4'-bipy)V(2)Se(2)O(8), and (4,4'-bipy)(2)V(4)Se(3)O(15).H(2)O (where phen = phenanthroline and bipy = bipyridine), were hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Different bidentate organodiamine ligands and reactant concentrations were used in the four reaction systems, which are responsible for the variety of structural dimensions of the compounds. (1,10-phen)(2)V(2)SeO(7) crystallizes in a monoclinic system with space group P2(1)/n and cell parameters a = 8.6509(3) A,( )b = 7.8379(2) A, c = 34.0998(13) A, beta = 91.503(2) degrees, and Z = 4. (2,2'-bipy)VSeO(4) crystallizes in a monoclinic system with space group C2/c and cell parameters a = 17.0895(12) A, b = 14.7707(10) A, c = 11.7657(8) A, beta = 131.354(3) degrees, and Z = 8. (4,4'-bipy)V(2)Se(2)O(8) crystallizes in a triclinic system with space group Ponemacr; and cell parameters a = 7.1810(10) A, b = 10.8937(13) A, c = 11.1811(15) A, alpha = 115.455(3) degrees, beta = 107.582(3) degrees, gamma = 91.957(4) degrees, and Z = 2. (4,4'-bipy)(2)V(4)Se(3)O(15).H(2)O crystallizes in a monoclinic system with space group Pc and cell parameters a = 7.9889(9) A, b = 7.8448 A, c = 23.048(3) A, beta = 99.389(4) degrees, and Z = 2. (1,10-phen)(2)V(2)SeO(7) has an isolated structure, (2,2'-bipy)VSeO(4) has a chain structure, (4,4'-bipy)V(2)Se(2)O(8) has a layered structure, and (4,4'-bipy)(2)V(4)Se(3)O(15).H(2)O has a framework structure. The chains are constructed from VO(4)N(2) octahedra and SeO(3) pyramids, laced by organic ligands (2,2'-bipy). The layers consist of vanadium selenite chains [(VO)(2)(SeO(3))(2)]( infinity ), linked by 4,4'-bipy molecules. The framework is composed of vanadium selenite sheets [V(4)Se(3)O(16)]( infinity ), pillared by 4,4'-bipy molecules. All of the compounds are thermally stable to 300 degrees C, and the magnetic susceptibilities confirm the existence of tetravalent V atoms in the antiferromagnetic (4,4'-bipy)V(2)Se(2)O(8) complex and mixed tetravalent and pentavalent V atoms in the paramagnetic complex (4,4'-bipy)(2)V(4)Se(3)O(15).H(2)O.  相似文献

A novel polyoxometalate {[AgI(4,4'-bipy)]3[PW12O40]}·(4,4'-bipy)·4H2O 1 has been synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal of 1 belongs to the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 11.3710(17), b = 12.0701(16), c = 13.1061(12) , α = 112.838(3), β = 94.545(6), γ = 99.526(4)°, V = 1614.4(4) 3, Mr = 3825.40, Z = 1, Dc = 3.935, μ = 22.289mm-1, F(000) = 1692, the final R = 0.0507 and wR = 0.1054. X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that the molecular structure of 1 consists of three coordinated cations [AgI(4,4'-bipy)]+, a polyanion unit [PW12O40]3-, and a discrete 4,4′-bipy molecule. Significantly, there exist two crystallographically independent silver(I) centers in 1 and all [AgI(4,4'-bipy)]+ cations are linked with each other to form a one-dimensional Ag-4,4'-bipy polymer chain. The neighboring polymer chains are further interconnected to form a 3D framework by the covalent effect of silver atoms and terminal oxygen atoms of the polyanion. The electrochemical behaviors of 1 have also been studied in detail by cyclic voltammograms.  相似文献

The reactions of UO(3) with acidic aqueous chloride solutions resulted in the formation of two new polymeric U(VI) compounds. Single crystals of Cs(2)[(UO(2))(3)Cl(2)(IO(3))(OH)O(2)].2H(2)O (1) were formed under hydrothermal conditions with HIO(3) and CsCl, and Li(H(2)O)(2)[(UO(2))(2)Cl(3)(O)(H(2)O)] (2) was obtained from acidic LiCl solutions under ambient temperature and pressure. Both compounds contain pentagonal bipyramidal coordination of the uranyl dication, UO(2)(2+). The structure of 1 consists of infinite [(UO(2))(3)Cl(2)(IO(3))(mu(3)-OH)(mu(3)-O)(2)](2-) ribbons that run down the b axis that are formed from edge-sharing pentagonal bipyramidal [UO(6)Cl] and [UO(5)Cl(2)] units. The Cs(+) cations separate the chains from one another and form long ionic contacts with terminal oxygen atoms from iodate ligands, uranyl oxygen atoms, water molecules, and chloride anions. In 2, edge-sharing [UO(3)Cl(4)] and [UO(5)Cl(2)] units build up tetranuclear [(UO(2))(4)(mu-Cl)(6)(mu(3)-O)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](2-) anions that are bridged by chloride to form one-dimensional chains. These chains are connected in a complex network of hydrogen bonds and interactions of uranyl oxygen atoms with Li(+) cations. The reaction of the molecular transition metal iodate, Cs[CrO(3)(IO(3))], with UO(3) under mild hydrothermal conditions provides access to a new low-dimensional, mixed-metal U(VI) compound, Cs(2)[(UO(2))(CrO(4))(IO(3))(2)] (1). The structure of 1 is quite unusual and consists of one-dimensional (1)(infinity)[(UO(2))(CrO(4))(IO(3))(2)](2-) ribbons separated by Cs(+) cations. These ribbons are formed from [UO(7)] pentagonal bipyramids that contain a uranyl core, [CrO(4)] tetrahedra, and both monodentate and bridging iodate anions. An exploratory study of the hydrothermal chemistry of vanadium in HF solutions has resulted in the preparation of four new vanadium (III) fluorides with chainlike structural motifs. [NH4]2[VF5] (1) and [C2N2H10][VF5] (2) feature infinite chains of trans corner-sharing VF4F2/2 octahedra, [C4N2H6][VF5].H2O (3) has cis corner-sharing [VF4F2/2]infinity chains, and [C10N2H8][VF3] (4) has trans corner-sharing [VF2F2/2]infinity chains bridged into sheets by the 4,4'-bipy linker. The reaction of UO(2)(NO(3))(2).6H(2)O with Cs(2)CO(3) or CsCl, H(3)PO(4), and Ga(2)O(3) under mild hydrothermal conditions results in the formation of Cs(4)[(UO(2))(2)(GaOH)(2)(PO(4))(4)].H(2)O (UGaP-1) or Cs[UO(2)Ga(PO(4))(2)] (UGaP-2). The structure of UGaP-1 was solved from a twinned crystal revealing a three-dimensional framework structure consisting of one-dimensional (1)(infinity)[Ga(OH)(PO(4))(2)](4-) chains composed of corner-sharing GaO(6) octahedra and bridging PO(4) tetrahedra that extend along the c axis. The phosphate anions bind the UO(2)(2+) cations to form UO(7) pentagonal bipyramids. The UO(7) moieties edge-share to create dimers that link the gallium phosphate substructure into a three-dimensional (3)(infinity)[(UO(2))(2)(GaOH)(2)(PO(4))(4)](4-) anionic lattice that has intersecting channels running down the b and c axes. Cs(+) cations and water molecules occupy these channels. The structure of UGaP-2 is also three-dimensional and contains one-dimensional (1)(infinity)[Ga(PO(4))(2)](3-) gallium phosphate chains that extend down the a axis. These chains are formed from fused eight-membered rings of corner-sharing GaO(4) and PO(4) tetrahedra. The chains are in turn linked together into a three-dimensional (3)(infinity)[UO(2)Ga(PO(4))(2)](1-) framework by edge-sharing UO(7) dimers as occurs in UGaP-1. There are channels that run down the a and b axes through the framework. These channels contain the Cs(+) cations. Ion-exchange studies indicate that the Cs(+) cations in UGaP-1 and UGaP-2 can be exchanged for Ca(2+) and Ba(2+). The new uranyl phosphate [(UO2)3(PO4)O(OH)(H2O)2](H2O) (1) with an unprecedented framework structure has been synthesized at 150 and 185 degrees C. The structure (tetragonal, P4(2)/mbc, a = 14.015(1) A, c = 13.083(2) A, V = 2575.6(4) A(3), Z = 8) contains uranyl phosphate chains composed of uranyl pentagonal and hexagonal bipyramids and phosphate tetrahedra linked by sharing of polyhedral edges. The uranyl phosphate chains are aligned both along [100] and [010] and are linked into a novel framework structure involving channels along [001]. Topologically identical chains occur linked into sheets in more than a dozen uranyl phosphate minerals, but these chains have never been observed in opposing orientations and linked into a framework as in 1.  相似文献
