Thermal entanglement is investigated in a two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ system with different inhomogeneous magnetic fields. It is found that different magnetic fields have different entanglement and critical values. In addition, according to the relation of spin-spin coupling coefficients, a more efficient control parameter of magnetic field can be obtained by adjusting the direction of external magnetic field. 相似文献

The SWAP operation in a two-qubit Heisenberg model in the presence of Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) anisotropic antisymmetric interaction is investigated. It is shown that the SWAP operation can be implemented for some kinds of DM coupling and the influence of DM couplings is divided into different cases. Thermal entanglement of the two-qubit XXZ model under magnetic fields in arbitrary directions is studied. Both the uniform and nonuniform fields are addressed. For the ferromagnetic case, a magnetic field perpendicular to the z-axis helps to enhance the entanglement or slows down the decrease of the entanglement. For the antiferromagnetic case, there is the revival phenomenon when the magnetic field is uniform and no such phenomenon when the field is uniform in the z-direction and a staggered type in the x-axis. 相似文献

The persistent spin helix discovered in intrinsic spin-orbit coupled systems previously is reexamined using the motion equations of Green's functions by considering the effect of extrinsic impurity-induced spin-orbit coupling. We find both the intrinsic and extrinsic spin-orbit couplings can increase the excitation energy of spin helix. They together can reduce drastically the lifetime of the spin helix, making it severely departure from the ideal infinite value. The effect of impurity density on spin helix is also analyzed. The results may be helpful to understand experimental measurements on spin helix. 相似文献

We consider the model of quantum computer, which is represented as a Ising spin lattice, where qubits (spin-half systems) are separated by the isolators (two spin-half systems). In the idle mode or at the single bit operations the total spin of isolators is 0. There are no need of complicated protocols for correcting the phase and probability errors due to permanent interaction between the qubits. We study quantum communication through an anisotropic Heisenberg XY chain in a transverse magnetic field. We find that for some time t and anisotropy parameter γ, one can transfer a state with a relatively high fidelity. In the strong-field regime, the anisotropy does not significantly affect the fidelity while in the weak-field regime the affect is quite pronounced. The most interesting case is the intermediate regime where the oscillation of the fidelity with time is low and the high-fidelity peaks are relatively broad. This would, in principle, allow for quantum communication in realistic circumstances. Moreover, we calculate the purity, or tangle, as a measure of the entanglement between one spin and all the other spins in the chain and find that the stronger the anisotropy and exchange interaction, the more entanglement will be generated for a given time. 相似文献

Electronic tunnelling through a one-dimensional quantum dot chain is theoretically studied, when two leads couple to the individual component quantum dots of the chain arbitrarily. If there are some dangling quantum dots in the chain outside the leads, the electron tunnelling through the quantum dot chain is wholly forbidden while the energy of the incident electron is just equal to the molecular energy levels of the dangling quantum dots, which is known as the antiresonance effect. In addition, the influence of electron interaction on the antiresonance effect is discussed within the Hartree-Fock approximation. 相似文献

We theoretically propose a feasible scheme to realize holonomic quantum computation with charge-phase qubits placed in a microwave cavity. By appropriately adjusting the controllable parameters, each charge-phase qubit is set as an effective four-level subsystem, based on which a universal set of holonomic quantum gates can be realized. Further analysis shows that our system is robust to the first-order fluctuation of the gate charges, and the intrinsic leakages between energy levels can be ignored. 相似文献

We present the results of theoretical studies on operations with charge qubits in the system composed of two tunnel-coupled semiconductor quantum dots whose two lowest states (localized in different dots) define the logical qubit states while two excited states (delocalized between the dots) serve for the electron transfer from one dot to another under the influence of the laser pulse. It is shown that in the case of small energy separation between the excited levels, the optimal (from the viewpoint of minimal single-qubit operation time and maximum operation fidelity) strategy is to tune the laser frequency between the excited levels. The pulse parameters for implementation of the quantum NOT operation are determined. Analytical results obtained in the rotating-wave approximation are confirmed by rigorous numerical calculations. 相似文献

It is well known that multiple superconducting charge qubits coupled to a transmission line resonator can be controlled to achieve quantum logic gates between two arbitrary qubits. We propose a scheme to realize a quantum conditional phase gate with a geometric property by circuit electrodynamics, and it is applied naturally to reaJize the quantum Fourier transform with high fidelity. Transfer of quantum states through a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ spin model with a nonuniform magnetic field b is investigated by means of quantum theory. The influences of b, the spin exchange coupling J and the effective transfer time T=Jt on the fidelity have been studied for some different initial states. Results show that fidelity of the transferred state is determined not only by J, T and b but also by the initial state of this quantum system. Ideal information transfer can be realized for some kinds of initial states. We also found that the interactions of the z-component Jz and uniform magnetic field B do not have any contribution to the fidelity. We investigate the energy spectrum and the corresponding wave functions of an electron confined by a pseudoharmonic potential both including harmonic dot and antidot potentials in the presence of a strong magnetic field together with an Aharonov-Bohm flux field. Exact solutions for the energy levels and wave functions are found for this exactly soluble system. These are all tested under various conditions and also are compared with other works found in the literature. Further, we discuss the related energy spectrum in terms of special values of the proposed pseudoharmonic potential, AB field and magnetic field as a function of magnetic quantum number and magnetic field. 相似文献

teleportation, and then focus on the teleportation fidelity under different
conditions. The effects of anisotropy and the magnetic field, both uniform

We show how a controlled phase gate, induced by adiabatic passage of dark states, can be implemented with the nitrogen-vacancy defects in nanocrystal coupled to the optical whispering gallery mode in a silica microsphere cavity. The gate presented is robust to the fluctuations of the experimental parameters compared to the dynamical and geometric phases gates. The feasibility of this scheme is characterized by exact numerical simulations that incorporate various sources of experiment noise. Choi and Korepin [Quantum Information Processing 6(2007)243] presented a quantum partial search algorithm of a database with several target items which can find a target block quickly when each target block contains the same number of target items. Actually, the number of target items in each target block is arbitrary. Aiming at this case, we give a condition to guarantee performance of the partial search algorithm to be performed and the number of queries to oracle of the algorithm to be minimized. The proposed setup involves a pair of product states, polarizing beam splitters, phase shifters and photon number resolving detectors. We propose a new scheme for realizing a distant two-qubit controlled-U gate with nearest qubit-qubit interaction. The present scheme does not need measurement. Furthermore, it is noted that the two-qubit CNOT gates required by the scheme are greatly reduced when compared with the conventional method based on SWAP operations.
