Two donor–acceptor conjugated polymers with azaisoindigo as acceptor units and bithiophene and terthiophene as donor units have been synthesized by Stille polymerization. These two polymers have been successfully applied in field‐effect transistors and polymer solar cells. By changing the donor component of the conjugated polymer backbone from bithiophene to terthiophene, the density of thiophene in the backbone is increased, manifesting as a decrease in both ionization potential and in electron affinity. Therefore, the charge transport in field‐effect transistors switches from ambipolar to predominantly hole transport behavior. PAIIDTT exhibits hole mobility up to 0.40 cm2/Vs and electron mobility of 0.02 cm2/Vs, whereas PAIIDTTT exhibits hole mobility of 0.62 cm2/Vs. Polymer solar cells were fabricated based on these two polymers as donors with PC61BM and PC71BM as acceptor where PAIIDTT shows a modest efficiency of 2.57% with a very low energy loss of 0.55 eV, while PAIIDTTT shows a higher efficiency of 6.16% with a higher energy loss of 0.74 eV. Our results suggest that azaisoindgo is a useful building block for the development of efficient polymer solar cells with further improvement possibility by tuning the alternative units on the polymer backbone. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Three donor–acceptor copolymers P1 , P2 , and P3 with N,N′‐dodecylpyromellitic diimide as the electron‐acceptor unit with three diethynyl‐substituted donor monomers: 1,4‐diethynyl‐2,5‐bis(octyloxy)benzene, 2,7‐diethynyl‐9,9‐dioctyl‐9H‐fluorene, and 3,3′‐didodecyl‐5,5′‐diethynyl‐2,2′‐bithiophene have been synthesized by Sonogashira crosscoupling polymerization. The synthesized polymers showed deep highest occupied molecular orbital energy levels and larger band gaps (>2.5 eV). Polymers P1 , P2 , and P3 underwent fluorescence quenching with [6,6]‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM), indicating the intermolecular photo‐induced charge transfer between the donor polymers and the PCBM acceptor. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. An alternating copolymer composed of heal‐to‐tail‐structured 3,4′‐dihexyl‐2,2′‐bithiophene (DHBT) and pyrene units [poly(DHBT‐alt‐PYR)] was synthesized using a Stille coupling reaction for use in photovoltaic devices as a p‐type donor. For the reduction of the bandgap energy of poly(DHBT‐alt‐PYR), 4,7‐bis(3′‐hexyl‐2,2′‐bithiophen‐5‐yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole (BHBTBT) units were introduced into the polymer. Poly(DHBT‐co‐PYR‐co‐BHBTBT)s were synthesized using the same polymerization reaction. The synthesized polymers were soluble in common organic solvents and formed smooth thin films after spin casting. The optical bandgap energies of the polymers were obtained from the onset absorption wavelengths. The measured optical bandgap energy of poly(DHBT‐alt‐PYR) was 2.47 eV. As the BHBTBT content in the ter‐polymers increased, the optical bandgap energies of the resulting polymers decreased. The bandgap energies of poly(50DHBT‐co‐40PYR‐co‐10BHBTBT) and poly(50DHBT‐co‐20PYR‐co‐30BHBTBT) were 1.84 and 1.73 eV, respectively. Photovoltaic devices were fabricated with a typical sandwich structure of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/active layer/LiF/Al using the polymers as electron donors and [6,6]‐phenyl C71‐butyric acid methyl ester as the electron acceptor. The device using poly(50DHBT‐co‐20PYR‐co‐30BHBTBT) showed the best performance among the fabricated devices, with an open‐circuit voltage, short‐circuit current, fill factor, and maximum power conversion efficiency of 0.68 V, 5.54 mA/cm2, 0.35, and 1.31%, respectively. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. To explore the aptitude of 1,2,4‐oxadiazole‐based electron‐acceptor unit in polymer solar cell applications, we prepared four new polymers (P1–P4) containing 1,2,4‐oxadiazole moiety in their main chain and applied them to solar cell applications. Thermal, optical, and electrochemical properties of the polymers were studied using thermogravimetric, absorption, and cyclic voltammetry analysis, respectively. All four polymers showed high thermal stability (5% degradation temperature over 335 °C), and the optical band gaps were calculated to be 2.20, 1.72, 1.37, and 1.74 eV, respectively, from the onset wavelength of the film‐state absorption band. The energy levels of the polymers were found to be suitable for bulk heterojunction (BHJ) solar cell applications. The BHJ solar cells were prepared by using the synthesized polymers as a donor and PC71BM as an electron acceptor with the configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/polymer:PC71BM (1:3 wt %)/LiF/Al. One of the polymers was found to show the maximum power conversion efficiency of 1.33% with a Jsc of 4.95 mA/cm2, a Voc of 0.68 V, and a FF of 40%, measured using AM 1.5 G solar simulator at 100 mW/cm2 light illumination. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Designing low band‐gap‐conjugated polymers coupled with low HOMO levels attracts great attention in the field of polymer solar cells (PSCs). By using donor–acceptor (D‐A) copolymerization strategy, we designed and synthesized a series of low band‐gap copolymers with deep HOMO levels via introducing an isoindigo (IID) acceptor unit in the copolymers with the donor unit of fluorene (F) (PIID‐F), carbazole (Cz) (PIID‐Cz), thiophene (Th) (PIID‐Th), dithiophene (DTh) (PIID‐DTh), or dithienosilole (DTS) (PIID‐DTS). The HOMO level of the copolymers, measured by electrochemical cyclic voltammetry, varies from ?5.3 eV to ?5.8 eV, depending on different donor units in the copolymers. However, the LUMO levels of all the copolymers are fixed at about ?3.6 eV, which is mainly determined by IID acceptor unit due to its strong electron‐withdrawing ability. The new results will provide an effect help in designing IID based molecular structures. Among the copolymers, PIID‐DTS has a low band gap of 1.58 eV and possesses a low‐lying HOMO energy level of ?5.33 eV. The PSCs based on PIID‐DTS as donor and PC70BM as acceptor exhibited a high open‐circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.93 V and a primary power conversion efficiency of 2.45%. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. A series of low bandgap conjugated polymers consisting of benzothiadiazole alternating with dithienothiophene (DTT) or dithienopyrrole (DTP) unit with or without 3‐alkylthiophene bridge have been synthesized. Effect of the fused rings and 3‐alkylthiophene bridge on the thermal, optical, electrochemical, charge transport, and photovoltaic properties of these polymers have been investigated. These polymers show broad absorption extending from 300 to 1000 nm with optical bandgaps as low as 1.2 eV; the details of which can be varied either by incorporating 3‐alkylthiophene bridge or by replacing DTT with DTP. The LUMO levels (?2.9 to ?3.3 eV) are essentially unaffected by the specific choice of donor moiety, whereas the HOMO levels (?4.6 to ?5.6 eV) are more sensitive to the choice of donor. The DTT and DTP polymers with 3‐alkylthiophene bridge were found to exhibit hole mobilities of 8 × 10?5 and 3 × 10?2 cm2 V?1 s?1, respectively, in top‐contact organic field‐effect transistors. Power conversion efficiencies in the range 0.17–0.43% were obtained under simulated AM 1.5, 100 mW cm?2 irradiation for polymer solar cells using the DTT and DTP‐based polymers with 3‐alkylthiophene bridge as donor and fullerene derivatives as acceptor. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two new low bandgap alternating polyfluorene copolymers based on dioctylfluorene and donor‐acceptor‐donor monomers have been synthesized via a Suzuki polymerization reaction. The resulting copolymers have low optical bandgaps at 1.99–1.98 eV. The bulk heterojunction polymer solar cells were fabricated with the conjugated polymers as the electron donor and 6.6‐phenyl C61‐butyric acid methyl ester as the electron acceptor. The power conversion efficiencies of the solar cells based on copolymers 1 and 2 are 0.37 and 0.42%, respectively, under the illumination of AM 1.5, 100 mW/cm2. The results indicate that the two copolymers are promising conjugated polymers for polymer solar cells. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 47: 5336–5343, 2009  相似文献

Four new polymers containing a benzo[c]thiophene‐N‐dodecyl‐4,5‐dicarboxylic imide (DIITN) unit including the homopolymer and three donor–acceptor copolymers were designed, synthesized, and characterized. For these copolymers, DIITN unit with low bandgap was selected as an electron acceptor, whereas 5,5′‐(2,7‐bisthiophen‐2‐yl)‐9‐(2‐decyltetradecyl)‐9H‐carbazole), 5,5′‐(3,3′‐di‐n‐octylsilylene‐2,2′‐bithiophene), and 5,5′‐(2,7‐bisthiophen‐2‐yl‐9,9‐bisoctyl‐9H‐fluoren‐7‐yl) were chosen as the electron donor units to tune the highest occupied molecular orbital/lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (HOMO/LUMO) levels of the copolymers for better light harvesting. These polymers exhibit extended absorption in the visible and near‐infrared range and are soluble in common organic solvents. The relative low lying HOMO of these polymers promises good air stability and high open‐circuit voltage (Voc) for photovoltaic application. Bulk heterojunction solar cells were fabricated by blending the copolymers with [6,6]‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester or [6,6]‐phenyl‐C71‐butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM). The best power conversion efficiency of 1.6% was achieved under simulated sunlight AM 1.5G (100 mW/cm2) from solar cells containing 20 wt % of the fluorene copolymer poly[5,5′‐(2,7‐bisthiophen‐2‐yl‐9,9‐bisoctyl‐9H‐fluoren‐7‐yl)‐alt‐2,9‐(benzo[c]thiophene‐N‐dodecyl‐4,5‐dicarboxylic imide)] and 80 wt % of PC71BM with a high open‐circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.84 V. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of three new low bandgap donor–acceptor–donor–acceptor/ (D–A–D–A/) polymers have been successfully synthesized based on the combination of isoindigo as the electron‐deficient acceptor and 3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene as the electron‐rich donor, followed by CH‐arylation with different acceptors (4,7‐dibromo[c][1,2,5]‐(oxa, thia, and/or selena)diazole ( 4a‐c )). These polymers were used as donor materials for photovoltaic applications. All of the polymers are highly stable and show good solubility in chlorinated solvents. The highest power conversion efficiency of 1.6% was achieved in the bulk heterojunction photovoltaic device that consisted of poly ((E)?6‐(7‐(benzo‐[c][1,2,5]‐thiadiazol‐4‐yl)?2,3‐dihydrothieno‐[3,4‐b][1,4]dioxin‐5‐yl)?6′‐(2,3‐dihydrothieno‐[3,4‐b][1,4]‐dioxin‐5‐yl)?1,1′‐bis‐(2‐octyldodecyl)‐[3,3′‐biindolinylidene]‐2,2′‐dione) as the donor and PC61BM as the acceptor, with a short‐circuit current density (Jsc) of 8.10 mA/cm2, an open circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.56 V and a fill factor of 35%, which indicates that these polymers are promising donors for polymer solar cell applications. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of light‐harvesting conjugated polymers were designed and synthesized for polymer solar cells. These newly designed polymers comprise an unusual two‐dimensional conjugated structure with an electron‐rich thiophene–triphenylamine backbone and stable planar indacenodithiophene π‐bridges terminated with tunable electron acceptors. It was found that the electron‐withdrawing strength of the acceptor could be used to manipulate the energy level of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital and bandgap (as much as 0.3 eV), generating derivatives with complementary absorbance in the visible spectrum. This approach provides great flexibility in fine tuning the electronic and optical properties of the resultant polymers and facilitates the investigation of how these chemical modifications alter the subsequent photovoltaic properties of these materials. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A set of three donor‐acceptor conjugated (D‐A) copolymers were designed and synthesized via Stille cross‐coupling reactions with the aim of modulating the optical and electronic properties of a newly emerged naphtho[1,2‐b:5,6‐b′]dithiophene donor unit for polymer solar cell (PSCs) applications. The PTNDTT‐BT , PTNDTT‐BTz , and PTNDTT‐DPP polymers incorporated naphtho[1,2‐b:5,6‐b′]dithiophene ( NDT ) as the donor and 2,2′‐bithiazole ( BTz ), benzo[1,2,5]thiadiazole ( BT ), and pyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐1,4(2H,5H)‐dione ( DPP ), as the acceptor units. A number of experimental techniques such as differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetry, UV–vis absorption spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, X‐ray diffraction, and atomic force microscopy were used to determine the thermal, optical, electrochemical, and morphological properties of the copolymers. By introducing acceptors of varying electron withdrawing strengths, the optical band gaps of these copolymers were effectively tuned between 1.58 and 1.9 eV and their HOMO and LUMO energy levels were varied between ?5.14 to ?5.26 eV and ?3.13 to ?3.5 eV, respectively. The spin‐coated polymer thin film exhibited p‐channel field‐effect transistor properties with hole mobilities of 2.73 × 10?3 to 7.9 × 10?5 cm2 V?1 s?1. Initial bulk‐heterojunction PSCs fabricated using the copolymers as electron donor materials and [6,6]‐phenyl C71 butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) as the acceptor resulted in power conversion efficiencies in the range of 0.67–1.67%. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of novel donor–acceptor (D–A) random conjugated terpolymers P2‐P4 along with the homopolymers P1 (BDT‐DPP) and P5 (BDT‐BTDQ) were designed and synthesized by copolymerizing a benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b]dithiophene (BDT) donor with an electron‐deficient diketopyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole (DPP) unit and a benzothiadiazolo[3,4‐e]quinoxaline (BTDQ) moieties of different electron‐withdrawing strengths, and the resultant terpolymers showed broad absorption profile ranging from 300 to 1200 nm. The HOMO levels of the polymers were adjusted from ?5.23 to ?5.11 eV, and the optical bandgaps were controlled from 1.32 to 1.13 eV by changing the molar ratio of DPP and BTDQ acceptors. These terpolymers were used as a donor along with PC71BM as an acceptor for the creation of polymer solar cells, and the performance was optimized via variable the donor to acceptor ratio and solvent vapor annealing. The polymer solar cells made from the random terpolymer P3 showed the highest overall power conversion efficiency of (9.27%), which is higher than that for the corresponding homo‐polymers counterparts, that is, P1 (7.27%) and P5 (7.68%). The results demonstrate that the designing of random D‐A1‐D‐A2 terpolymers may be the best approach for efficient polymer solar cells. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. The synthesis of conjugated polymers 1 – 5 functionalized with 4,9‐dihydro‐s‐indaceno[1,2‐b:5,6‐b′]dithiophene‐4,9‐dione in the backbone is reported and their use in the construction of organic solar cells is demonstrated. Increasing the molar ratio of 2,7‐dibromo‐3,8‐dihexyl‐4,9‐dihydro‐s‐indaceno[1,2‐b:5,6‐b′]dithiophene‐4,9‐dione, relative to 4,4′‐dihexyl‐5,5′‐dibromo‐2,2′‐bithiophene, in the copolymer synthesis significantly lowers the solubility of these polymers. The incorporation of highly conjugated 3,8‐dihexyl‐4,9‐dihydro‐s‐indaceno[1,2‐b:5,6‐b′]dithiophene‐4,9‐dione unit into the polymer backbone has been confirmed by UV–vis absorption. The observation of decreasing quantum yield for the emission in the order of 1 , 2 , 3 is consistent with copolymers with different comonomer content. The power conversion efficiencies of solar cells using blends of these polymers with PCBM ([6,6]‐phenyl C61‐butyric acid methyl ester) were determined to be 0.11% for polymer 1 , 0.33% for 2 , and 0.26% for 3 , respectively. Under identical white light illumination, the power conversion efficiency of the device based on polymer 2 /PCBM as the active layer was three times higher compared to that of device based on polymer 1 /PCBM. Owing to the limited solubility and poor film‐forming ability of polymer 3 , the power conversion efficiency of solar cell based on 3 /PCBM blend is lower than that of 2 /PCBM blend, but is still larger than that of 1 /PCBM blend. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A new donor‐acceptor copolymer consisting of triazoloquinoxaline and 9,9‐dialkylfluorene units on the main chain has been synthesized, characterized and evaluated as donor material in bulk heterojunction solar cells using PC61BM as an acceptor. The resulting polymer PTQF showed good thermal stability and solubility in common organic solvents. Cyclic Voltammetry measurements showed that the PTQF has HOMO–LUMO energy levels of ?5.13 and ?3.62 eV, respectively. DFT calculations revealed that the HOMO is delocalized all over the thiophene and fluorene units and the LUMO is localized mainly on the triazole and pyrazine units. PTQF absorbs broadly in the visible region and exhibits a bandgap of 1.4 eV. Photovoltaic devices exhibited 1.7% efficiency for 1:2 PTQF:PC61BM blend ratio using Ca/Ag electrodes. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem, 2013  相似文献

Four ethynylene‐containing donor‐acceptor alternating conjugated polymers P1 – P4 with 2,5‐bis(dodecyloxy) substituted phenylene or carbazole as the donor unit and benzothiadiazole (BTZ) as the acceptor unit were synthesized and used as donor polymers in bulk heterojunction polymer solar cells. The optical, electrochemical, and photovoltaic properties of these four polymers with the ethylene unit located at different positions of the polymer chains were systematically investigated. Our results demonstrated that absorption spectra and the HOMO and LUMO energy levels of polymers could be tuned by varying the position of the ethynylene unit in the polymer chains. Photovoltaic devices based on polymer/PC71BM blend films spin coated from chloroform and dichlorobenzene solutions were investigated. For all four polymers, open circuit voltages (Voc) higher than 0.8 V were obtained. P4 , with ethynylene unit between BTZ and thiophene, shows the best performance among these four polymers, with a Voc of 0.94 V, a Jsc of 4.2 mA/cm2, an FF of 0.40, and a PCE of 1.6%. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel class of thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene (TT) and isoindigo based copolymers were synthesized and evaluated as electron donor and hole transport materials in bulk‐heterojunction polymer solar cells (BHJ PSCs). These π‐conjugated donor‐acceptor polymers were derived from fused TT and isoindigo structures bridged by thiophene units. The band‐gaps and the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) levels of the polymers were tuned using different conjugating lengths of thiophene units on the main chains, providing band‐gaps from 1.55 to 1.91 eV and HOMO levels from ?5.34 to ?5.71 eV, respectively. The corresponding lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) levels were appropriately adjusted with the isoindigo units. Conventional BHJ PSCs (ITO/PEDOT:PSS/active layer/interlayer/Al) with an active layer composed of the polymer and PC71BM were fabricated for evaluation. Power conversion efficiency from a low of 1.25% to a high of 4.69% were achieved with the best performing device provided by the D?π?A polymer with a relatively board absorption spectrum, high absorption coefficient, and more uniform blend morphology. These results demonstrate the potential of this class of thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene‐isoindigo‐based polymers as efficient electron donor and hole transport polymers for BHJ PSCs. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two D–π–A copolymers, based on the benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]‐dithiophene (BDT) as a donor unit and benzo‐quinoxaline (BQ) or pyrido‐quinoxaline (PQ) analog as an acceptor (PBDT‐TBQ and PBDT‐TPQ), were designed and synthesized as a p‐type material for bulk heterojunction (BHJ) photovoltaic cells. When compared with the PBDT‐TBQ polymer, PBDT‐TPQ exhibits stronger intramolecular charge transfer, showing a broad absorption coverage at the red region and narrower optical bandgap of 1.69 eV with a relatively low‐lying HOMO energy level at ?5.24 eV. The experimental data show that the exciton dissociation efficiency of PBDT‐TPQ:PC71BM blend is better than that in the PBDT‐TBQ:PC71BM blend, which can explain that the IPCE spectra of the PBDT‐TPQ‐based solar cell were higher than that of the PBDT‐TBQ‐based solar cell. The maximum efficiency of PBDT‐TPQ‐based device reaches 4.40% which is much higher than 2.45% of PBDT‐TBQ, indicating that PQ unit is a promising electron‐acceptor moiety for BHJ solar cells. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Previous routes to polymers with mono‐alkylated bithiophenes have proceeded through polymerization of monoalkyl‐2,2′‐bithiophene monomers through oxidative or AB‐type cross‐coupling polymerizations. The resulting polymer regiochemistry affects both the location and orientation of the polymer side‐chains. In contrast, AABB‐type cross‐coupling polymerizations can control the location and in some cases the orientation of the side‐chains. To study how this control can impact polymer properties, two poly(monodecyl‐2,2′‐bithiophene) polymers have been synthesized through Stille AABB‐type polycondensations of 2,5‐bis(trimethylstannyl)thiophene with different monomers. The alkyl side‐chains are located on every other thiophene, but polymer 1 consists of both head‐to‐tail and head‐to‐head dyads, whereas polymer 2 is made up of only head‐to‐head dyads. 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and heteronuclear single quantum correlation spectroscopy are used to confirm and contrast the polymer regiochemistries. The physical properties of the two polymers are analyzed using UV–vis spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, and grazing‐incidence X‐ray diffraction. Polymer 2 is found to display significantly more aggregation in solution than 1, and it displays different thermal properties. The film properties of polymers 1 and 2, however, are very similar, with nearly identical UV–vis profiles and d‐spacing values as determined by grazing incidence X‐ray diffraction. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of novel low‐bandgap triphenylamine‐based conjugated polymers ( PCAZCN , PPTZCN , and PDTPCN ) consisting of different electron‐rich donor main chains (N‐alkyl‐2,7‐carbazole, phenothiazine, and cyclopentadithinopyrol, respectively) as well as cyano‐ and dicyano‐vinyl electron‐acceptor pendants were synthesized and developed for polymer solar cell applications. The polymers covered broad absorption spectra of 400–800 nm with narrow optical bandgaps ranging 1.66–1.72 eV. The highest occupied molecular orbital and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital levels of the polymers measured by cyclic voltammetry were found in the range of ?5.12 to ?5.32 V and ?3.45 to ?3.55 eV, respectively. Under 100 mW/cm2 of AM 1.5 white‐light illumination, bulk heterojunction photovoltaic devices composing of an active layer of electron‐donor polymers ( PCAZCN , PPTZCN , and PDTPCN ) blended with electron‐acceptor [6,6]‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester or [6,6]‐phenyl‐C71‐butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) in different weight ratios were investigated. The photovoltaic device containing donor PCAZCN and acceptor PC71BM in 1:2 weight ratio showed the highest power conversion efficiency of 1.28%, with Voc = 0.81 V, Jsc = 4.93 mA/cm2, and fill factor = 32.1%. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Novel two‐dimensional donor–acceptor (D–A) structured conjugated polymers, P1–P4, were designed and synthesized by introducing electron‐deficient quinoxaline as core and electron‐rich alkoxyl‐phenylenevinylene in side chains and p‐phenylenevinylene, triphenylamine, or thiophene in main chain. Benefited from the D–A structures, the polymers possess low bandgaps of 1.75 eV, 1.86 eV, 1.59 eV, and 1.58 eV for P1, P2, P3, and P4, respectively, and show broad absorption band in the visible region: the shorter wavelength absorption peak at ~400 nm ascribed to the conjugated side chains and the longer wavelength absorption peak between 500 nm and 750 nm belonging to the absorption of the conjugated main chains. Especially, the absorption band of P4 film covers the whole visible range from 300 nm to 784 nm. The power conversion efficiencies of the polymer solar cells based on P1–P4 as donor and PCBM as acceptor are 0.029%, 0.14%, 0.46%, and 0.57%, respectively, under the illumination of AM 1.5, 100 mW/cm2. The polymers with the low bandgap and broad absorption band are promising photovoltaic materials. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 46: 4038–4049, 2008  相似文献
