Eight new R1CpTiCl2(OC(C6H4R2)Ph2) complexes were synthesized by the reaction of R1CpTiCl3 with Ph2(R2C6H4)COH (R2C6H4 = phenyl or o‐methyl‐phenyl) in the presence of Et3N in good yield and characterized by 1H NMR, elemental analysis, IR and mass spectrometry. A suitable single crystal of complex 2 (R1: CH3, R2: H) was obtained and the structure determined by X‐ray diffraction. When activated by methylaluminoxane (MAO), all complexes were active for the polymerization of ethylene and styrene. The effect of variation in temperature, catalyst concentration and MAO/catalyst molar ratio was also studied. Complex 5 (R1: n‐C4H9, R2: H) showed a moderate conversion (37.4%) for the polymerization of methyl methacrylate. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A series of monocyclopentadienyl titanium complexes containing a pendant amine donor on a Cp group ( A = CpTiCl3, B = CpNTiCl3, C = CpNTiCl2TEMPO, for Cp = C5H5, CpN = C5H4CH2CH2N(CH3)2, and TEMPO = 2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐N‐oxyl) are investigated for styrene homopolymerization and ethylene–styrene (ES) copolymerization. When activated by methylaluminoxane at 70 °C, complexes with the amine group ( B and C ) are active for styrene homopolymerization and afford syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS). The copolymerizations of ethylene and styrene with B and C yield high‐molecular weight ES copolymer, whereas complex A yields mixtures of sPS and polyethylene, revealing the critical role that the pendant amine has on the polymerization behavior of the complexes. Fractionation, NMR, and DSC analyses of the ES copolymers generated from B and C suggest that they contain sPS. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of group 4 metal complexes bearing amine‐bis(phenolate) ligands with the amino side‐arm donor: (μ‐O)[Me2N(CH2)2N(CH2‐2‐O‐3,5‐tBu2‐C6H2)2ZrCl]2 ( 1a ), R2N(CH2)2N(CH2‐2‐O‐3‐R1‐5‐R2‐C6H2)2TiCl2 (R = Me, R1, R2 = tBu ( 2a ), R = iPr, R1, R2 = tBu ( 2b ), R = iPr, R1 = tBu, R2 = OMe ( 2c )), and Me2N(CH2)2N(CH2‐2‐O‐3,5‐tBu2‐C6H2)(CH2‐2‐O‐C6H4)TiCl2 ( 2d ) are used in ethylene and propylene homopolymerization, and ethylene/1‐octene copolymerization. All complexes, upon their activation with Al(iBu)3/Ph3CB(C6F5)4, exhibit reasonable catalytic activity for ethylene homo‐ and copolymerization giving linear polyethylene with high to ultra‐high molecular weight (600·× 103–3600·× 103 g/mol). The activity of 1a /Al(iBu)3/Ph3CB(C6F5)4 shows a positive comonomer effect, leading to over 400% increase of the polymer yield, while the addition of 1‐octene causes a slight reduction of the activity of the complexes 2a‐2d . The complexes with the NMe2 donor group ( 2a , 2d , 1a ) display a high ability to incorporate a comonomer (up to 9–22 mol%), and the use of a bulkier donor group, N(iPr)2 ( 2b , 2c ), results in a lower 1‐octene incorporation. All the produced copolymers reveal a broad chemical composition distribution. In addition, the investigated complexes polymerized propylene with the moderate ( 1a , 2a ) to low ( 2b‐2d ) activity, giving polymers with different microstructures, from purely atactic to isotactically enriched (mmmm = 28%). © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of novel vanadium(III) complexes bearing bidentate phenoxy‐phosphine oxide [O,P=O] ligands, (2‐R1‐4‐R2‐6‐Ph2P=O‐C6H2O)VCl2(THF)2 ( 2a : R1 = R2 = H; 2b : R1 = F, R2 = H; 2c : R1 = tBu, R2 = H; 2d : R1 = Ph, R2 = H; 2e : R1 = R2 = Me; 2f : R1 = R2 = tBu; 2g : R1 = R2 = CMe2Ph) have been synthesized by adding 1 equiv of the ligand to VCl3(THF)3 dropwise in the presence of excess triethylamine. Under the same conditions, the adding of VCl3(THF)3 to 2.0 equiv of the ligand afforded vanadium(III) complexes bearing two [O,P=O] ligands ( 3c , 3f ). All the complexes were characterized by FTIR and mass spectra as well as elemental analysis. Structures of complexes 2c and 3c were further confirmed by X‐ray crystallographic analysis. On activation with Et2AlCl and ethyl trichloroacetate, these complexes displayed high catalytic activities for ethylene polymerization (up to 26.4 kg PE/mmolV·h·bar) even at high reaction temperature (70 °C) indicative of high thermal stability, and produced high molecular weight polymers with unimodal molecular weight distributions. Additionally, the complexes with optimized structure exhibited high catalytic activities for ethylene/1‐hexene copolymerization. Catalytic activity, comonomer incorporation, and polymer molecular weight can be controlled in a wide range via the variation of catalyst structure and the reaction parameters such as Al/V molar ratio, comonomer feed concentration, and reaction temperature. The monomer reactivity ratios rE and rH were determined according to 13C NMR spectra, which indicated these complexes preferred ethylene to 1‐hexene in the copolymerization. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of heteroligated (salicylaldiminato)(β‐enaminoketonato)titanium complexes [3‐But‐2‐OC6H3CH = N(C6F5)] [PhN = C(R1)CHC(R2)O]TiCl2 [ 3a : R1 = CF3, R2 = tBu; 3b : R1 = Me, R2 = CF3; 3c : R1 = CF3, R2 = Ph; 3d : R1 = CF3, R2 = C6H4Ph(p ); 3e : R1 = CF3, R2 = C6H4Ph(o ); 3f : R = CF3, R2 = C6H4Cl(p ); 3g : R1 = CF3; R2 = C6H3Cl2(2,5); 3h : R1 = CF3, R2 = C6H4Me(p )] were investigated as catalysts for ethylene (co)polymerization. In the presence of modified methylaluminoxane as a cocatalyst, these complexes showed activities about 50%–1000% and 10%–100% higher than their corresponding bis(β‐enaminoketonato) titanium complexes for ethylene homo‐ and ethylene/1‐hexene copolymerization, respectively. They produced high or moderate molecular weight copolymers with 1‐hexene incorporations about 10%–200% higher than their homoligated counterpart pentafluorinated FI‐Ti complex. Among them, complex 3b displayed the highest activity [2.06 × 106 g/molTi?h], affording copolymers with the highest 1‐hexene incorporations of 34.8 mol% under mild conditions. Moreover, catalyst 3h with electron‐donating group not only exhibited much higher 1‐hexene incorporations (9.0 mol% vs. 3.2 mol%) than pentafluorinated FI‐Ti complex but also generated copolymers with similar narrow molecular weight distributions (M w/M n = 1.20–1.26). When the 1‐hexene concentration in the feed was about 2.0 mol/L and the hexene incorporation of resultant polymer was about 9.0 mol%, a quasi‐living copolymerization behavior could be achieved. 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopic analysis of their resulting copolymers demonstrated the possible copolymerization mechanism, which was related with the chain initiation, monomer insertion style, chain transfer and termination during the polymerization process. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Totally sixteen new titanium and zirconium non-Cp complexes supported by Schiff-base, or thiophene diamide ligands have been synthesized. The complexes are obtained by the reaction of M(OPr-i)4(M=Ti,Zr) with the corresponding Schiff-base ligand in 1:1 molar ratio in good yield. The thiophene diamide titanium complex has been prepared from trimethylsilyl amine [N,S,N] ligand and TiCl4 in toluene at 120℃. All complexes are well charac-terized by ^1H NMR, IR, MS and elemental analysis. When activated by excess methylaluminoxane (MAO), complexes show moderate catalytic activity for ethylene polymerization, and complex If (R^1=CH3,R^2=Br) exhibits the highest activity for ethylene and styrene polymerization. When the complexes were preactivated by triethylaluminum (TEA), both polymerization activities and syndiotacticity of the polymers were greatly improved.  相似文献

A catalytic system of new titanium complexes with methylaluminoxane (MAO) was found to effectively polymerize ethylene for high molecular weight polyethylene as well as highly active copolymerization of ethylene and norbornene. The bis (imino‐indolide)titanium dichlorides (L2TiCl2, 1 – 5 ), were prepared by the reaction of N‐((3‐chloro‐1H‐indol‐2‐yl)methylene)benzenamines with TiCl4, and characterized by elemental analysis, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The solid‐state structures of 1 and 4 were determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis to reveal the six‐coordinated distorted octahedral geometry around the titanium atom with a pair of chlorides and ligands in cis‐forms. Upon activation by MAO, the complexes showed high activity for homopolymerization of ethylene and copolymerization of ethylene and norbornene. A positive “comonomer effect” was observed for copolymerization of ethylene and norbornene. Both experimental observations and paired interaction orbital (PIO) calculations indicated that the titanium complexes with electron‐withdrawing groups in ligands performed higher catalytic activities than those possessing electron‐donating groups. Relying on different complexes and reaction conditions, the resultant polyethylenes had the molecular weights Mw in the range of 200–2800 kg/mol. The influences on both catalytic activity and polyethylene molecular weights have been carefully checked with the nature of complexes and reaction conditions. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Vanadium(III) complexes bearing phenoxy‐phosphine ligands ( 2a–g ) (2‐R1‐4‐R2‐6‐PPh2‐C6H2O)VCl2(THF)2 ( 2a : R1 = R2 = H; 2b : R1 = F, R2 = H; 2c : R1 = Ph, R2 = H; 2d : R1 = tBu, R2 = H; 2e : R1 = R2 = Me; 2f : R1 = R2 = tBu; 2g : R1 = R2 = CMe2Ph) were prepared from VCl3(THF)3 by treating with 1.0 equiv of the ligand in tetrahydrofuran (THF) in the presence of excess triethylamine (TEA). The reaction of VCl3(THF)3 with 2.0 equiv of the ligand in THF in the presence of excess TEA afforded vanadium(III) complexes bearing two phenoxy‐phosphine ligands ( 3c–f ). These complexes were characterized by FTIR and mass spectrum as well as elemental analyses. Structures of 2f and 3c were further confirmed by X‐ray crystallographic analyses. Complexes 2a–g and 3c–f were employed as the catalysts for ethylene polymerization under various reaction conditions. On activation with Et2AlCl, these complexes exhibited high catalytic activities (up to 41.3 kg PE/mmolV·h·bar) even at high temperature (70°C), and produced high molecular weight polymer with unimodal molecular weight distributions, indicating the polymerization took place in a single‐site nature. Complexes 3c–f displayed better thermal stability than the corresponding complexes 2a–g under similar conditions. In addition, copolymerizations of ethylene and 1‐hexene with precatalysts 2a–g were also explored in the presence of Et2AlCl. Catalytic activity, comonomer incorporation, and properties of the resultant polymers can be controlled over a wide range by tuning catalyst structures and reaction parameters.© 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of new mono β‐diiminato titanium complexes [(N(Ar)C(CH3))2 CH]TiCl3 ( 3a : Ar = 2.6‐F2C6H3; 3b : Ar = C6F5; 3c : Ar = 2.6‐Me2C6H3) have been synthesized and characterized. The crystal structure of 3a revealed that the β‐diiminato ligand in our complex is more close to the η2‐coordination mode with little delocalization of the double bonds, which is different from the strong delocalization in the ligands of η5‐coordinated (Tolnacnac)TiCl3 and η2‐coordinated (Dipnacnac)ZrCl3. The significant electronic effects of fluoro‐substituents on the olefin polymerization activity of mono β‐diiminato titanium complexes were found. Titanium complexes with fluorine‐containing β‐diiminato ligands, on activation with MMAO, are extremely active catalysts for polymerization of ethylene. The activity of copolymerization of ethylene and 1‐hexene is higher than homopolymerization of ethylene and increases with the increase of 1‐hexene concentrations, which show the positive “comonomer effect.” The molar percentage of 1‐hexene incorporation and polymer microstructures can also be modulated by the initial comonomer concentrations. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The syntheses of a series of l‐methyl‐3‐aryl‐substituted titanocene and zirconocene dichlorides are reported. These complexes are synthesized by the reaction of 2‐ and 3‐methyl‐6, 6‐dimethylfulvenes (1:4) with aryllithium, followed by the reaction with TiCl4·2THF, ZrCl4 and (CpTiCl2)2O respectively, to give complexes 1–5. The complex [η5‐1‐methyl‐3‐(α, α‐dimethylbenzyl) cyclopentadienyl] titanium dichloride has been studied by X‐ray diffraction. The red crystal of this complex is monoclinic, space group P2t/C with unit cell parameters: a =6.973(6) × 10?1 nm, b =36.91(2) × 10?1 nm, c = 10.063(4) × 10?1 nm, α=β= γ = 93.35(5)°, V = 2584(5) × 10?3 nm3 and Z = 4. Refinement for 1004 observed reflections gives the final R of 0.088. There are four independent molecules per unit cell.  相似文献

Thermolysis of [Cp*Ru(PPh2(CH2)PPh2)BH2(L2)] 1 (Cp*=η5‐C5Me5; L=C7H4NS2), with terminal alkynes led to the formation of η4‐σ,π‐borataallyl complexes [Cp*Ru(μ‐H)B{R‐C=CH2}(L)2] ( 2 a – c ) and η2‐vinylborane complexes [Cp*Ru(R‐C=CH2)BH(L)2] ( 3 a – c ) ( 2 a , 3 a : R=Ph; 2 b , 3 b : R=COOCH3; 2 c , 3 c : R=p‐CH3‐C6H4; L=C7H4NS2) through hydroboration reaction. Ruthenium and the HBCC unit of the vinylborane moiety in 2 a – c are linked by a unique η4‐interaction. Conversions of 1 into 3 a – c proceed through the formation of intermediates 2 a – c . Furthermore, in an attempt to expand the library of these novel complexes, chemistry of σ‐borane complex [Cp*RuCO(μ‐H)BH2L] 4 (L=C7H4NS2) was investigated with both internal and terminal alkynes. Interestingly, under photolytic conditions, 4 reacts with methyl propiolate to generate the η4‐σ,π‐borataallyl complexes [Cp*Ru(μ‐H)BH{R‐C=CH2}(L)] 5 and [Cp*Ru(μ‐H)BH{HC=CH‐R}(L)] 6 (R=COOCH3; L=C7H4NS2) by Markovnikov and anti‐Markovnikov hydroboration. In an extension, photolysis of 4 in the presence of dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate yielded η4‐σ,π‐borataallyl complex [Cp*Ru(μ‐H)BH{R‐C=CH‐R}(L)] 7 (R=COOCH3; L=C7H4NS2). An agostic interaction was also found to be present in 2 a – c and 5 – 7 , which is rare among the borataallyl complexes. All the new compounds have been characterized in solution by IR, 1H, 11B, 13C NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and the structural types were unequivocally established by crystallographic analysis of 2 b , 3 a – c and 5 – 7 . DFT calculations were performed to evaluate possible bonding and electronic structures of the new compounds.  相似文献

The title compounds were prepared starting from the dihydropyrrolones 4 – 6 . Nucleophilic displacement and ring closure yielded the 1H‐pyrrolo[3,2‐c]isothiazol‐5(4H)‐ones 8 and 10 . The fused systems formed salts with strong acids and electrophiles ( 15, 16 ), as well as with bases. Oxidation led either to S(2)‐oxides ( 18a, 20a ) or to the corresponding bicyclic sultams ( 18b, 20b ), depending on the reaction conditions. The sulfinamide 18a was also obtained from the known 1,2‐dithiolopyrrolone S‐oxide 21 by a ring‐opening/ring‐closure reaction sequence. O‐Methylation of 8 furnished the ‘azafulvene' 17 . The oxidative addition of [Pt(η2‐C2H4)L2] ( 24a : L=Ph3P, 24b : L=1/2 dppf, 24c : L=1/2 (R,R)‐diop) to 18a and 20a led to the cis‐amido‐sulfenato Pt complexes 25 and 26a – c , respectively.  相似文献

The catalytic properties of a set of ansa‐complexes (R‐Ph)2C(Cp)(Ind)MCl2 [R = tBu, M = Ti ( 3 ), Zr ( 4 ) or Hf ( 5 ); R = MeO, M = Zr ( 6 ), Hf ( 7 )] in α‐olefin homopolymerization and ethylene/1‐hexene copolymerization were explored in the presence of MAO (methylaluminoxane). Complex 4 with steric bulk tBu group on phenyl exhibited remarkable catalytic activity for ethylene polymerization. It was 1.6‐fold more active than complex 11 [Ph2C(Cp)(Ind)ZrCl2] at 11 atm ethylene pressure and was 4.8‐fold more active at 1 atm pressure. The introduction of bulk substituent tBu into phenyl groups not only increased the catalytic activity greatly but also enhanced the content of 1‐hexene in ethylene/1‐hexene copolymerization. The highest 1‐hexene incorporation was 25.4%. In addition, 4 was also active for propylene and 1‐hexene homopolymerization, respectively, and low isotactic polypropylene (mmmm = 11.3%) and isotactic polyhexene (mmmm = 31.6%) were obtained. New Ti and Zr complexes that bear imine–phenoxy chelate ligands, [{2,4‐di‐tBu‐6‐(RCH=N)‐C6H4O}2MCl2] ( 1 : M=Ti, R=Ph; 2 : M=Ti, R=C6F5; 3 : M=Zr, R=Ph; 4 : M=Zr, R=C6F5), were synthesized and investigated as precatalysts for ethylene polymerization. 1H NMR spectroscopy suggests that these complexes exist as mixtures of structural isomers. X‐ray crystallographic analysis of the adduct 1 ?HCl reveals that it exists as a zwitterionic complex in which H and Cl are situated in close proximity to one of the imine nitrogen atoms and the central metal, respectively. The X‐ray molecular structure also indicates that one imine phenoxy group with the syn C?N configuration functions as a bidentate ligand, whereas the other, of the anti C?N form, acts as a monodentate phenoxy ligand. Although Zr complexes 3 and 4 with methylaluminoxane (MAO) or [Ph3C]+[B(C6F5)4]?/AliBu3 displayed moderate activity, the Ti congeners 1 and 2 , in association with an appropriate activator, catalyzed ethylene polymerization with high efficiency. Upon activation with MAO at 25 °C, 2 displayed a very high activity of 19900 (kg PE) (mol Ti)?1 h?1, which is comparable to that for [Cp2TiCl2] and [Cp2ZrCl2], although increasing the polymerization temperature did result in a marked decrease in activity. Complex 2 contains a C6F5 group on the imine nitrogen atom and mediated nonliving‐type polymerization, unlike the corresponding salicylaldimine‐type complex. Conversely, with [Ph3C]+[B(C6F5)4]?/AliBu3 activation, 1 exhibited enhanced activity as the temperature was increased (25–75 °C) and maintained very high activity for 60 min at 75 °C (18740 (kg PE) (mol Ti)?1 h?1). 1H NMR spectroscopic studies of the reaction suggest that this thermally robust catalyst system generates an amine–phenoxy complex as the catalytically active species. The combinations 1 /[Ph3C]+[B(C6F5)4]?/AliBu3 and 2 /MAO also worked as high‐activity catalysts for the copolymerization of ethylene and propylene.  相似文献

Monocyclopentadienyl titanium imidazolin‐2‐iminato complexes [Cp′Ti(L)X2] 1a (Cp′ = cyclopentadienyl, L = 1,3‐di‐tert‐butylimidazolin‐2‐imide, X = Cl), 1b (X = CH3); 2 (Cp′ = cyclopentadienyl, L = 1,3‐diisopropylimidazolin‐2‐imide, X = Cl); 3 (Cp′ = tert‐butylcyclopentadienyl, L = 1,3‐di‐tert‐butylimidazolin‐2‐imide, X = Cl), upon activation with methylaluminoxane (MAO) were active for the polymerization of ethylene and propylene and the copolymerization of ethylene and 1‐hexene. Catalysts derived from imidazolin‐2‐iminato tropidinyl titanium complex 4 = [(Trop)Ti(L)Cl2] (Trop = tropidinyl, L = 1,3‐di‐tert‐butylimidazolin‐2‐imide) were much less active. Narrow polydispersities were observed for ethylene and propylene polymerization, but the copolymerization of ethylene/hexene led to bimodal molecular weight distributions. The productivity of catalysts derived from the dialkyl complex 1b activated with [Ph3C][B(C6F5)4] or B(C6F5)3 were less active for ethylene/hexene copolymerization but yielded ethylene/hexene copolymers of narrower molecular weight distributions than those derived from 1a/MAO. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A series of novel titanium(IV) complexes combining a phosphine oxide‐bridged bisphenolato ligand TiCl2{2,2′‐O?P‐R3 (4‐R2‐6‐R1‐C6H2O)2}(THF) ( 6a : R1 = tBu, R2 = H, R3 = Ph; 6b : R1 = Ph, R2 = H, R3 = Ph; 6c : R1 = R2 = tBu, R3 = Ph; 6d : R1 = R2 = cumyl, R3 = Ph; 6e : R1 = tBu, R2 = H, R3 = PhF5) were prepared by the reaction of corresponding bisphenolato ligands with TiCl4 in THF. X‐ray analysis reveals that complex 6a adopts distorted octahedral geometry around the titanium center. These catalysts were performed for ethylene polymerization in the presence of modified methyaluminoxane (MMAO). The effects of reaction parameters on ethylene polymerization behaviors, such as cocatalyst concentration, polymerization temperature, and reaction time were studied in detail. In general, these new complexes exhibited high catalytic activity, good temperature tolerance, and long lifetime for ethylene polymerization. The resulting polymers possess high molecular weight, unimodal distribution, and linear structure. © Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 46: 7062–7073, 2008  相似文献

A series of novel zirconium complexes {R2Cp[2‐R1‐6‐(2‐CH3OC6H4N?CH)C6H3O]ZrCl2 ( 1 , R1 = H, R2 = H, 2 : R1 = CH3, R2 = H; 3 , R1 = tBu, R2 = H; 4 , R1 = H, R2 = CH3; 5 , R1 = H, R2 = n‐Bu)} bearing mono‐Cp and tridentate Schiff base [ONO] ligands are prepared by the reaction of corresponding lithium salt of Schiff base ligands with R2CpZrCl3·DME. All complexes were well characterized by 1H NMR, MS, IR and elemental analysis. The molecular structure of complex 1 was further confirmed by X‐ray diffraction study, where the bond angle of Cl? Zr? Cl is extremely wide [151.71(3)°]. A nine‐membered zirconoxacycle complex Cp(O? 2? C6H4N?CHC6H4‐2? O)ZrCl2 ( 6 ) can be obtained by an intramolecular elimination of CH3Cl from complex 1 or by the reaction of CpZrCl3·DME with dilithium salt of ligand. When activated by excess methylaluminoxane (MAO), complexes 1–6 exhibit high catalytic activities for ethylene polymerization. The influence of polymerization temperature on the activities of ethylene polymerization is investigated, and these complexes show high thermal stability. Complex 6 is also active for the copolymerization of ethylene and 1‐hexene with low 1‐hexene incorporation ability (1.10%). Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

An unprecedented reactivity profile of biochemically relevant R‐benzofuroxan (R=H, Me, Cl), with high structural diversity and molecular complexity on a selective {Ru(acac)2} (acac=acetylacetonate) platform, in conjugation with EtOH solvent mediation, is revealed. This led to the development of monomeric [RuIII(acac)2(L1R)] ( 1 a – 1 c ; L1R=2‐nitrosoanilido derivatives) and dimeric [{RuII(acac)2}2(L2R)] ( 2 a – 2 b ; L2R=(1E,2E)‐N1,N2‐bis(2‐nitrosophenyl)ethane‐1,2‐diimine derivatives) complexes in one pot with a change in the metal redox conditions. The functionalization of benzofuroxan in 1 and 2 implied in situ reduction of N=O to NH? in the former and solvent‐assisted multiple N?C coupling in the latter. The aforesaid transformation processes were authenticated through structural elucidation of representative complexes, and evaluated by their spectroscopic/electrochemical features, along with C2D5OD labeling and monitoring of the impact of substituents (R) in the benzofuroxan framework on the product distribution process. The noninnocent potential of newly developed L1 and L2 in 1 and 2 , respectively, was also probed by spectroelectrochemistry in combination with DFT calculations.  相似文献

The reactions of MCl5 or MOCl3 with imidazole‐based pro‐ligand L1H, 3,5‐tBu2‐2‐OH‐C6H2‐(4,5‐Ph21H‐)imidazole, or oxazole‐based ligand L2H, 3,5‐tBu2‐2‐OH‐C6H2(1H‐phenanthro[9,10‐d])oxazole, following work‐up, afforded octahedral complexes [MX(L1, 2)], where MX=NbCl4 (L1, 1 a ; L2, 2 a ), [NbOCl2(NCMe)] (L1, 1 b ; L2, 2 b ), TaCl4 (L1, 1 c ; L2, 2 c ), or [TaOCl2(NCMe)] (L1, 1 d ). The treatment of α‐diimine ligand L3, (2,6‐iPr2C6H3N?CH)2, with [MCl4(thf)2] (M=Nb, Ta) afforded [MCl4(L3)] (M=Nb, 3 a ; Ta, 3 b ). The reaction of [MCl3(dme)] (dme=1,2‐dimethoxyethane; M=Nb, Ta) with bis(imino)pyridine ligand L4, 2,6‐[2,6‐iPr2C6H3N?(Me)C]2C5H3N, afforded known complexes of the type [MCl3(L4)] (M=Nb, 4 a ; Ta, 4 b ), whereas the reaction of 2‐acetyl‐6‐iminopyridine ligand L5, 2‐[2,6‐iPr2C6H3N?(Me)C]‐6‐Ac‐C5H3N, with the niobium precursor afforded the coupled product [({2‐Ac‐6‐(2,6‐iPr2C6H3N?(Me)C)C5H3N}NbOCl2)2] ( 5 ). The reaction of MCl5 with Schiff‐base pro‐ligands L6H–L10H, 3,5‐(R1)2‐2‐OH‐C6H2CH?N(2‐OR2‐C6H4), (L6H: R1=tBu, R2=Ph; L7H: R1=tBu, R2=Me; L8H: R1=Cl, R2=Ph; L9H: R1=Cl, R2=Me; L10H: R1=Cl, R2=CF3) afforded [MCl4(L6–10)] complexes (M=Nb, 6 a – 10 a ; M=Ta, 6 b – 9 b ). In the case of compound 8 b , the corresponding zwitterion was also synthesised, namely [Ta?Cl5(L8H)+] ? MeCN ( 8 c ). Unexpectedly, the reaction of L7H with TaCl5 at reflux in toluene led to the removal of the methyl group and the formation of trichloride 7 c [TaCl3(L7‐Me)]; conducting the reaction at room temperature led to the formation of the expected methoxy compound ( 7 b ). Upon activation with methylaluminoxane (MAO), these complexes displayed poor activities for the homogeneous polymerisation of ethylene. However, the use of chloroalkylaluminium reagents, such as dimethylaluminium chloride (DMAC) and methylaluminium dichloride (MADC), as co‐catalysts in the presence of the reactivator ethyl trichloroacetate (ETA) generated thermally stable catalysts with, in the case of niobium, catalytic activities that were two orders of magnitude higher than those previously observed. The effects of steric hindrance and electronic configuration on the polymerisation activity of these tantalum and niobium pre‐catalysts were investigated. Spectroscopic studies (1H NMR, 13C NMR and 1H? 1H and 1H? 13C correlations) on the reactions of compounds 4 a / 4 b with either MAO(50) or AlMe3/[CPh3]+[B(C6F5)4]? were consistent with the formation of a diamagnetic cation of the form [L4AlMe2]+ (MAO(50) is the product of the vacuum distillation of commercial MAO at +50 °C and contains only 1 mol % of Al in the form of free AlMe3). In the presence of MAO, this cationic aluminium complex was not capable of initiating the ROMP (ring opening metathesis polymerisation) of norbornene, whereas the 4 a / 4 b systems with MAO(50) were active. A parallel pressure reactor (PPR)‐based homogeneous polymerisation screening by using pre‐catalysts 1 b , 1 c , 2 a , 3 a and 6 a , in combination with MAO, revealed only moderate‐to‐good activities for the homo‐polymerisation of ethylene and the co‐polymerisation of ethylene/1‐hexene. The molecular structures are reported for complexes 1 a – 1 c , 2 b , 5 , 6 a , 6 b, 7 a, 8 a and 8 c .  相似文献

The solvent‐ and catalyst free synthesis of two β‐thio ketones L1a and L1b is reported. L1a , L1b , and a β‐seleno ketone L1c were successfully employed as ligand precursors in the synthesis of a novel series of cationic titanium complexes 4a – 4c via a well‐established reaction sequence: insertion of the carbonyl functional group into the polarized Ti–Cq,exo bond of the monopentafulvene complex Cp*Ti(Cl)(π‐η5:σ–η1‐C5H4=CR2) ( 1 ) (CR2 = adamantylidene), subsequent methylation, and final activation with B(C6F5)3. The cationic titanium complexes 4a – 4c bear twofold functionalized cyclopentadienyl [Cp,O,Ch (Ch = S, Se)] ligand frameworks built directly in the coordination sphere of the metal, in which the chalcogen ether functionalities do not coordinate to the central metal atoms as demonstrated by NMR experiments. Consequently, Cp,O σ,π chelating ligand systems are formed with free coordination sites at the central titanium atoms and pendant chalcogen ether moieties.  相似文献
