We investigate the relativistic equation for particles with spin 1/2 in the q-parameter modified Pöschl-Teller potential, including Coulomb-like tensor interaction with spatially-dependent mass for the D-dimension. We present approximate solutions of the Dirac equation with these potentials for any spin-orbit quantum number κ under spin symmetry. The normalized wave functions are expressed in terms of the hyper-geometric series of the scattering states on the k/2π scale. We also give the formula for the phase shifts, and use the Nikiforov-Uvarov method to obtain the energy eigen-values equation.  相似文献

In the presence of competing relativistic formalisms for interacting particle dynamics, a model-independent axiomatic approach is proposed for the study of the following asymptotic aspects of relativistic classical particle dynamics: the definition of the scattering operator, scattering angle and time-delay, and the specification of a general functional interdependence between the objects so defined.  相似文献

Asymptotic forms of Green functions for relativistic Coulomb scattering are constructed and the infrared singularity structure is identified to all orders in the potential. Zwanziger's reduction formulas for scalar and spin-12 particles are proven to be finite to all orders. The question of the definition of the S-operator and the related difficulties of the forward direction singularity are explicitly discussed and the unitarity is proven on the basis of the asymptotic solutions and second order calculations.  相似文献

The solution to the problem of optical or electromagnetic-wave scattering from perfectly conducting rough surfaces modeled by a multiscale fractal function is generalized to the case of relative uniform translating motion with respect to the observer. The presence of motion can be treated by the relativistic frame hopping method by means of plane-wave simplification techniques, since the solution relevant to the static case is expressed in terms of a generalized expansion of Floquet modes.  相似文献

In the context of a relativistic quantum mechanics we discuss the scattering of two and three charged spinless particles. The corresponding transition operators are shown to satisfy four-dimensional Lippmann-Schwinger and eight-dimensional Faddeev-type equations, respectively. A simplified model of two particles with Coulomb interaction can be solved exactly. We calculate: (i) The partial waveS-matrix from which we extract the bound state spectrum. The latter agrees with a fourth-order result of Schwinger, (ii) The full scattering amplitude which in the weakfield limit coincides with the expression derived by Fried et al. from eikonalized QED.Presented at the symposium Mesons and Light Nuclei, Bechyn, Czechoslovakia, May 27–June 1, 1985.Based on part of the Ph D. thesis by M. Hannemann, Mainz, 1985.  相似文献

The connection between light-cone dynamics and field theory is analyzed in detail within the zero-range approximation, with particular attention to the so-called angular condition. New and detailed calculations for the elastic form factors of the deuteron are presented for the Bonn, Paris, Reid Soft-Core, Argonne V14 and one-pion-exchange potentials with various choices of the electromagnetic form factors of the nucleon.  相似文献

Relativistic corrections to inelastic electron scattering have been investigated using the results of a previous calculation on elastic scattering. A detailed discussion is made of the kinematics of inelastic scattering. Excitation of discrete states is treated in detail by two different methods, with particular attention paid to kinematical factors. Deuteron breakup is discussed and treated in a very similar manner to the discrete excitations. Comparison is made with analyses using plane wave final states and with previous work.  相似文献

A discussion of the Proca and Weinberg relativistic spin-1 equations and of their relation is presented. With them the Dirac approach to proton-nucleus elastic scattering is extended to deuteron-nucleus elastic scattering. The strength of the predicted deuteron spin-orbit potential is found to be weaker, by a factor of approximately 2, than the deuteron folding model value, because the g-factor for spin-1 is g = 1. The implications of this result are discussed.  相似文献

In view of investigating for 3d- and 4f-ferromagnetic crystals the elastic scattering and the emission of polarized low-energy electrons as well as the bulk electronic structure, a relativistic multiple scattering theory has been developed, in which the exchange interaction with the magnetic ground state electrons is treated in a local density functional approximation. In a layer-KKR-type approach, the Dirac equation, which contains an effective magnetic field term, is first solved for a single crystal atom and subsequently for a monoatomic layer and for a semi-infinite crystal. Spin-orbit coupling and magnetic exchange interaction are thus simultaneously taken into account.  相似文献

The relativistic transformation properties of the heavy quark-antiquark interaction potential are considered in the framework of the relativistic quark model. A special attention is paid to the long-range (confining) contribution to the spin-independent part of interaction. The retardation effects are consistently taken into account. Using the invariant, four-dimensional representation of the photon-electron interaction derived from quantum electrodynamics, we obtain analytical expressions for the Legendre moments of the scattering kernel, given arbitrary distributions of initial electrons and specified energy ranges. Monoenergetic and Maxwellian electrons distributions are briefly discussed and the partial wave expansion of the static Klein-Nishina formula included.  相似文献

The differential cross section for the elastic small-angle scattering of nonidentical spin-1 nuclei at intermediate and low energies is obtained in a general form on the basis of the QED formalism. Deviations from Rutherford scattering and a complicated dependence of this cross section on the energies and masses of such nuclei in this energy region are revealed.  相似文献

The tensor analysing power Pe in electron deuteron scattering is calculated including relativistic corrections to the deuteron form factor as determined by Friar and Gross. These effects are found to be quite comparable to the differences between various potentials, and should therefore not be ignored.  相似文献
