Solutions of Einstein's equations which describe isolated scattering systems are discussed and a set of asymptotic boundary conditions, which appear to characterize such solutions, is proposed. Novel Rotating Hairy Black Hole in (2 + 1) Dimensions   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
We present some novel rotating hairy black hole metric in (2 + 1) dimensions, which is an exact solution to the field equations of the Einstein-scalar-AdS theory with a non-minimal coupling. The scalar potential is determined by the metric ansatz and consistency of the field equations and cannot be prescribed arbitrarily. In the simplified, critical ease, the scalar potential contains two independent constant parameters, which are respectively related to the mass and angular momentum of the black hole in a particular way. As long as the angular momentum does not vanish, the metric can have zero, one or two horizons. The case with no horizon is physically uninteresting because of the curvature singularity lying at the origin. We identify the necessary conditions for at least one horizon to be present in the solution, which imposes some bound on the mass-angular momentum ratio. For some particular choice of pararneters our solution degenerates into some previously known black hole solutions.  相似文献

A general study of transverse energy flows (TEF) as physically meaningful and informative characteristics of paraxial light beams’ spatial structure is presented. The total TEF can be decomposed into the spin and orbital contributions giving rise to the spin and orbital angular momentums, correspondingly. Definitions and properties of these constituents are discussed in relation with the optical field representation through linear and circular orthogonal polarization bases. With the help of model examples, the results are applied to investigation of TEF singularities in connection with the usual polarization morphology characteristics of paraxial optical fields. An analysis of TEFs near singular points has been carried out; in particular, the behavior of TEF and its partial contributions near polarization singularities (C-points) has demonstrated the special role of a boundary flow in the origin of the spin angular momentum. The analytical and experimental applicability of the introduced concepts are discussed.  相似文献

Benchmark results are presented for electrons colliding with hydrogen atoms in the S-wave (Temkin-Poet) model collision problem, which neglects angular momentum. Complete results (elastic, inelastic, and ionization), accurate to 1%, are obtained by numerically integrating Schrodinger's equation subject to correct asymptotic boundary conditions. This marks the first time direct matching to asymptotic boundary conditions has been shown to yield convergent ionization amplitudes for a Coulomb three-body problem. Results are presented for impact energies of 54.4 and 40.8 eV, where comparison with other theories is available.  相似文献

The theory of non-equilibrium thermodynamics is applied to a system of two immiscible fluids whose molecules possess internal angular momentum (spin) which are separated by an interface. The conservation laws and the Gibbs relation are used to derive the entropy production at the interface. The resulting linear laws relating the fluxes and forces represent boundary conditions on the hydrodynamic equations for the bulk phases. A limiting case is considered and boundary conditions derived by previous authors are obtained.  相似文献

The reversible evolution of a charged rotating ergoregion, due to the injection into it of particles with mass-energy and angular momentum, is studied systematically. As in the uncharged case, a bulge always forms on the outer boundary of the ergoregion due to the latter's angular momentum. The behavior of the bulge's position, relative to the black hole's rotation axis and equatorial plane, is studied, on the basis of the cosmic censorship hypothesis, during the ergoregion's reversible evolution. The range of the permitted values of the ergoregion's linear dimensions along the rotation axis and perpendicular to it is specified. Finally the differences with the evolution of an uncharged ergoregion are pointed out and discussed.  相似文献

The conditions under which the unified exciton model leads in its equilibrium limit to the Hauser-Feshbach model are derived and discussed. A simple extension of the exciton model is presented which exhibits the desired equilibrium behaviour. To this end, angular momentum dependent escape and spreading widths are derived. Some properties of minimal and nonminimal vector interactions in the Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau (DKP) formalism are discussed. The conservation of the total angular momentum for spherically symmetric nonminimal potentials is derived from its commutation properties with each term of the DKP equation and the proper boundary conditions on the spinors are imposed. It is shown that the space component of the nonminimal vector potential plays a crucial role for the confinement of bosons. The exact solutions for the vector DKP oscillator (nonminimal vector coupling with a linear potential which exhibits an equally spaced energy spectrum in the weak-coupling limit) for spin-0 bosons are presented in a closed form and it is shown that the spectrum exhibits an accidental degeneracy.  相似文献

The angular momentum projection of triaxial cranking model wave functions of realistic heavy nuclei is carried out exactly. Technical details of the procedure are discussed. The method is used to test the validity of the Kamlah expansion and of the angular momentum constraint in the cranking model. It turns out that the expansion up to the second order is already a very good approximation to the exact projection.  相似文献

The problem of conservation of magnitudes is considered for a vortex in a relaxing compressible medium. Heat release due to the relaxation of a nonequilibrium medium leads to the propagation of compression waves, which remove material. Traditional integrals of motion are inapplicable in this case. We pro-pose the concept of integral quantity, which is conserved with an arbitrary degree of accuracy despite the fact that waves cross the boundary of the integration domain. Based on this concept, a broad class of conservation laws is derived for axisymmetric disturbances of columnar vortices, including conservation of the circulation and total angular momentum of the vortex. For nonaxisymmetric disturbances, it is shown that the total angular momentum and properly defined energy integral are conserved. Numerical verification of the derived conservation laws is performed and the perspectives for using these conservation laws in numerical simulations are discussed.  相似文献

The angular and linar momentum transfered to target residue on 20 to 180MeV/u 16O+197Au system are calculated with BUU(Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck) model in which the angular momentum conservation is added.The dependence of angular and linar momentum on impact parameter and incident energy is discussed.The deviations between calculated values of(1mt) and those from viola system are compared.The results of the simulations suggest that the saturation of angular momentum transfer with incident energy increase mainly comes from the loss of capture ability of the target on projectile.  相似文献

Electromagnetic waves could carry orbital angular momentum. Such momentum can be transferred to macroscopic objects and can make them rotate under a constant torque. Based on experimental observations, we investigate the origin of orbital angular momentum and energy transfer. Due to angular momentum and energy conservation, we show that angular momentum transfer is due to the change in the sign of angular momentum upon reflection. This leads to a rotational Doppler shift of the electromagnetic wave frequency, ensuring energy conservation.  相似文献

It is unavoidable to deal with the quark and gluon momentum and angular momentum contributions to the nucleon momentum and spin in the study of nucleon internal structure. However we never have the quark and gluon momentum, orbital angular momentum and gluon spin operators which satisfy both the gauge invariance and the canonical momentum and angular momentum commutation relation. The conflicts between the gauge invariance and canonical quantization requirement of these operators are discussed. A new set of quark and gluon momentum, orbital angular momentum and spin operators, which satisfy both the gauge invariance and canonical momentum and angular momentum commutation relation, are proposed. The key point to achieve such a proper decomposition is to separate the gauge field into the pure gauge and the gauge covariant parts. The same conflicts also exist in QED and quantum mechanics and have been solved in the same manner. The impacts of this new decomposition to the nucleon internal structure are discussed.  相似文献

We discuss the coupling of a quantum system through the angular momentum to the reservoir of quantum harmonic oscillators. In classical mechanics an observation of the oscillator trajectories allows one to determine the system's angular momentum. We discuss the quantum dynamics of the model. We show that the model of an observation of environmental coordinates can be related to some models of angular momentum measurement based on a stochastic Schrödinger equation.  相似文献

For a three-body model Hamiltonian, the scattering eigenfunction that corresponds to an incident deuteron is expanded in terms of eigenfunctions of the neutron-proton relative Hamiltonian, as suggested by Johnson and Soper. In this expansion, breakup is represented by an integral over the continuum of neutron-proton scattering states. Only states of zero relative angular momentum are included; the validity and advantages of this approximation are discussed. The continuum is divided into five discrete channels, whose coupling to each other and to the deuteron channel is treated by solving coupled differential equations with appropriate boundary conditions. It is found necessary to use a simple WKB method to take account of the long-range coupling among breakup channels; this method introduces potential matrices W and S that describe local and derivative coupling of the channels. The reaction of breakup on the elastic channel is neglected.The properties of W and S and the breakup wavefunction are examined for the case of 22.9 MeV deuterons incident on a target of mass number A ≈ 40. The Coulomb interaction is ignored, and a local Gaussian shape is used for both the real and imaginary parts of the nucleon-nucleus optical potential.It is found that a rather broad spectrum of n-p continuum states is excited, especially for low center-of-mass angular momentum. This result weakens the justification for the Johnson-Soper adiabatic theory, which emphasizes breakup into states of low relative energy.The breakup part of the wavefunction at zero n-p separation is comparable with the elastic part, but is important only over a surprisingly short range in the center-of-mass coordinate, with the result that breakup cross sections are quite small. Nevertheless, breakup produces major modifications of (d, p) cross sections. These modifications can to some extent be simulated by the Johnson-Soper method. The breakup wavefunctions show several interesting effects in their dependence on angular momentum and radius.  相似文献
