Dinuclear low-valent compounds of the heavy main group elements are rare species owing to their intrinsic reactivity. However, they represent desirable target molecules due to their unusual bonding situations as well as applications in bond activations and materials synthesis. The isolation of such compounds usually requires the use of substituents that provide sufficient stability and synthetic access. Herein, we report on the use of strongly donating ylide-substituents to access low-valent dinuclear group 14 compounds. The ylides not only impart steric and electronic stabilization, but also allow facile synthesis via transfer of an ylide from tetrylene precursors of type RY2E to ECl2 (E=Ge, Sn; RY=TolSO2(PR3)C with R=Ph, Cy). This method allowed the isolation of dinuclear complexes amongst a germanium analogue of a vinyl cation, [(PhY)2GeGe(PhY)]+ with an electronic structure best described as a germylene-stabilized GeII cation and a ylide(chloro)digermene [CyY(Cl)GeGe(Cl)CyY] with an unusually unsymmetrical structure.  相似文献

Treatment of [K(BIPMMesH)] (BIPMMes={C(PPh2NMes)2}2?; Mes=C6H2‐2,4,6‐Me3) with [UCl4(thf)3] (1 equiv) afforded [U(BIPMMesH)(Cl)3(thf)] ( 1 ), which generated [U(BIPMMes)(Cl)2(thf)2] ( 2 ), following treatment with benzyl potassium. Attempts to oxidise 2 resulted in intractable mixtures, ligand scrambling to give [U(BIPMMes)2] or the formation of [U(BIPMMesH)(O)2(Cl)(thf)] ( 3 ). The complex [U(BIPMDipp)(μ‐Cl)4(Li)2(OEt2)(tmeda)] ( 4 ) (BIPMDipp={C(PPh2NDipp)2}2?; Dipp=C6H3‐2,6‐iPr2; tmeda=N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylenediamine) was prepared from [Li2(BIPMDipp)(tmeda)] and [UCl4(thf)3] and, following reflux in toluene, could be isolated as [U(BIPMDipp)(Cl)2(thf)2] ( 5 ). Treatment of 4 with iodine (0.5 equiv) afforded [U(BIPMDipp)(Cl)2(μ‐Cl)2(Li)(thf)2] ( 6 ). Complex 6 resists oxidation, and treating 4 or 5 with N‐oxides gives [{U(BIPMDippH)(O)2‐ (μ‐Cl)2Li(tmeda)] ( 7 ) and [{U(BIPMDippH)(O)2(μ‐Cl)}2] ( 8 ). Treatment of 4 with tBuOLi (3 equiv) and I2 (1 equiv) gives [U(BIPMDipp)(OtBu)3(I)] ( 9 ), which represents an exceptionally rare example of a crystallographically authenticated uranium(VI)–carbon σ bond. Although 9 appears sterically saturated, it decomposes over time to give [U(BIPMDipp)(OtBu)3]. Complex 4 reacts with PhCOtBu and Ph2CO to form [U(BIPMDipp)(μ‐Cl)4(Li)2(tmeda)(OCPhtBu)] ( 10 ) and [U(BIPMDipp)(Cl)(μ‐Cl)2(Li)(tmeda)(OCPh2)] ( 11 ). In contrast, complex 5 does not react with PhCOtBu and Ph2CO, which we attribute to steric blocking. However, complexes 5 and 6 react with PhCHO to afford (DippNPPh2)2C?C(H)Ph ( 12 ). Complex 9 does not react with PhCOtBu, Ph2CO or PhCHO; this is attributed to steric blocking. Theoretical calculations have enabled a qualitative bracketing of the extent of covalency in early‐metal carbenes as a function of metal, oxidation state and the number of phosphanyl substituents, revealing modest covalent contributions to U?C double bonds.  相似文献

[(Ph3P)3Ru(L)(H)2] (where L=H2 ( 1 ) in the presence of styrene, Ph3P ( 3 ), and N2 ( 4 )) cleave the Ph? X bond (X=Cl, Br, I) at RT to give [(Ph3P)3RuH(X)] ( 2 ) and PhH. A combined experimental and DFT study points to [(Ph3P)3Ru(H)2] as the reactive species generated upon spontaneous loss of L from 3 and 4 . The reaction of 3 with excess PhI displays striking kinetics which initially appears zeroth order in Ru. However mechanistic studies reveal that this is due to autocatalysis comprising two factors: 1) complex 2 , originating from the initial PhI activation with 3 , is roughly as reactive toward PhI as 3 itself; and 2) the Ph? I bond cleavage with the just‐produced 2 gives rise to [(Ph3P)2RuI2], which quickly comproportionates with the still‐present 3 to recover 2 . Both the initial and onward activation reactions involve PPh3 dissociation, PhI coordination to Ru through I, rearrangement to a η2‐PhI intermediate, and Ph? I oxidative addition.  相似文献

Quantum chemical calculations using density functional theory with the TPSS+D3(BJ) and M06‐2X+D3(ABC) functionals have been carried out to understand the mechanisms of catalyst‐free hydrogermylation/hydrostannylation reactions between the two‐coordinate hydrido‐tetrylenes :E(H)(L+) (E=Ge or Sn, L+=N(Ar+)(SiiPr3); Ar+=C6H2{C(H)Ph2}2iPr‐2,6,4) and a range of unactivated terminal (C2H3R, R=H, Ph, or tBu) and cyclic [(CH)2(CH2)2(CH2)n, n=1, 2, or 4] alkenes. The calculations suggest that the addition reactions of the germylenes and stannylenes to the cyclic and acyclic alkenes occur as one‐step processes through formal [2+2] addition of the E?H fragment across the C?C π bond. The reactions have moderate barriers and are weakly exergonic. The steric bulk of the tetrylene amido groups has little influence on the activation barriers and on the reaction energies of the anti‐Markovnikov pathway, but the Markovnikov addition is clearly disfavored by the size of the substituents. The addition of the tetrylenes to the cyclic alkenes is less exergonic than the addition to the terminal alkenes, which agrees with the experimentally observed reversibility of the former reactions. The hydrogermylation reactions have lower activation energies and are more exergonic than the stannylene addition. An energy decomposition analysis of the transition state for the hydrogermylation of cyclohexene shows that the reaction takes place with simultaneous formation of the Ge?C and (Ge)H?C′ bonds. The dominant orbitals of the germylene are the σ‐type lone pair MO of Ge, which serves as a donor orbital, and the vacant p(π) MO of Ge, which acts as acceptor orbital for the π* and π MOs of the olefin. Inspection of the transition states of some selected reactions suggests that the differences between the activation energies come from a delicate balance between the deformation energies of the interacting species and their interaction energies.  相似文献

Reactions of the oxorhenium(V) complexes [ReOX3(PPh3)2] (X = Cl, Br) with the N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) 1,3,4‐triphenyl‐1,2,4‐triazol‐5‐ylidene (LPh) under mild conditions and in the presence of MeOH or water give [ReOX2(Y)(PPh3)(LPh)] complexes (X = Cl, Br; Y = OMe, OH). Attempted reactions of the carbene precursor 5‐methoxy‐1,3,4‐triphenyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐1,2,4‐triazole ( 1 ) with [ReOCl3(PPh3)2] or [NBu4][ReOCl4] in boiling xylene resulted in protonation of the intermediately formed carbene and decomposition products such as [HLPh][ReOCl4(OPPh3)], [HLPh][ReOCl4(OH2)] or [HLPh][ReO4] were isolated. The neutral [ReOX2(Y)(PPh3)(HLPh)] complexes are purple, airstable solids. The bulky NHC ligands coordinate monodentate and in cis‐position to PPh3. The relatively long Re–C bond lengths of approximate 2.1Å indicate metal‐carbon single bonds.  相似文献

The signs of the phosphorus-proton coupling constants in various allenic organophosphorus compounds have been determined by either analysis of the AB2X spectra or double resonance. Probable absolute signs have been obtained by taking 3J(P? H) as positive. In allenic phosphine oxides, the following signs are obtained: 2J(P? H) +ve, 3J(P? H) +ve, 4J(P? H) ?ve, 5J(P? H) +ve and the 4J(P? H) coupling constant varies mostly with the inductive effect of the substituents bound to the phosphorus atom. In allenic phosphines, these sings are: 2J(P? H) +ve, 3J(P? H) +ve, 4J(P? H) ?ve and +ve and the 4J(P? H) coupling constant varies with both the inductive and resonance effects to the substituents. This coupling constant is negative except when the phosphorus atom is bound to groups which are electron-donating by resonance effects. These results are discussed in relation to the pπ? dπ bonding in phosphine.  相似文献

Coordinatively Unsaturated Diruthenium Complexes: Synthesis and X‐Ray Crystal Structures of [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐S)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐Ph2PCH2PPh2)], [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐X)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐Ph2PCH2PPh2)] (X = Cl, S2CH) [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 1 ) reacts in benzene with elemental sulfur to the addition product [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐S)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 2 ) (dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2). 2 is also obtained by reaction of 1 with ethylene sulfide. The reaction of 1 with carbon disulfide yields with insertion of the CS2 into the Ru2(μ‐H) bridge the dithioformato complex [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐S2CH)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 3 ). Furthermore, 1 reacts with [NO][BF4] to the complex salt [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐NO)(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)][BF4] ( 4 ), and reaction of 1 with CCl4 or CHCl3 affords spontaneously [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐Cl)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 5 ) in nearly quantitative yield. The molecular structures of 2 , 3 and 5 were confirmed by crystal structure analyses.  相似文献

The analysis is presented for the frequencies of stretching modes ν(GeH) in the IR spectra of organogermanium compounds R2XGeH, RX2GeH, RXYGeH, X2YGeH and XYGeH2 (where R is a substituent which does not make a dπpπ bond with germanium, and X and Y are groups capable of dπpπ interaction with germanium). It is shown that ν(GeH) in these compounds is dependent on both the I effect of R, X and Y, and the dπpπ interaction in GeX and GeY bonds. If only one substituent capable of dπpπ interaction with germanium is present, the value of such an effect is determined by itsσoRconstant. However, when germanium is bound to several substituents capable of dπpπ interaction its magnitude depends on the effective charge at germanium which is determined by the inductive and mesomeric effects of X and Y. The data obtained are compared to the dependences observed in the IR spectra of similar organosilicon compounds.  相似文献

Substituted phosphines of the type Ph2PCH(R)PPh2 and their PtII complexes [PtX2{Ph2PCH(R)PPh2}] (R = Me, Ph or SiMe3; X = halide) were prepared. Treatment of [PtCl2(NCBut)2] with Ph2PCH(SiMe3)-PPh2 gave [PtCl2(Ph2PCH2PPh2)], while treatment with Ph2PCH(Ph)PPh2 gave [Pt{Ph2PCH(Ph)PPh2}2]Cl2. Reaction of p-MeC6H4C≡CLi or PhC≡CLi with [PtX2{Ph2PCH(Me)PPh2}] gave [Pt(C≡CC6H4Me-p)2-{Ph2PCH(Me)PPh2}] (X = I) and [Pt{Ph2PC(Me)PPh2}2](X = Cl),while reaction of p-MeC6H4C≡CLi with [Pt{Ph2PCH(Ph)PPh2}2]Cl2 gave [Pt{Ph2PC(Ph)PPh2}2]. The platinum complexes [PtMe2(dpmMe)] or [Pt(CH2)4(dpmMe)] fail to undergo ring-opening on treatment with one equivalent of dpmMe [dpmMe = Ph2PCH(Me)PPh2]. Treatment of [Ir(CO)Cl(PPh3)2] with two equivalents of dpmMe gave [Ir(CO)(dpmMe)2]Cl. The PF6 salt was also prepared. Treatment of [Ir(CO)(dpmMe)2]Cl with [Cu(C≡CPh)2], [AgCl(PPh3)] or [AuCl(PPh3)] failed to give heterobimetallic complexes. Attempts to prepare the dinuclear rhodium complex [Rh2(CO)3(μ-Cl)(dpmMe)2]BPh4 using a procedure similar to that employed for an analogous dpm (dpm = Ph2PCH2PPh2) complex were unsuccessful. Instead, the mononuclear complex [Rh(CO)(dpmMe)2]BPh4 was obtained. The corresponding chloride and PF6 salts were also prepared. Attempts to prepare [Rh(CO)(dpmMe)2]Cl in CHCl3 gave [RhHCl(dpmMe)2]Cl. Recrystallization of [Rh(CO)(dpmMe)2]BPh4 from CHCl3/EtOH gave [RhO2(dpmMe)2]BPh4. Treatment of [Rh(CO)2Cl2]2 with one equivalent of dpmMe per Rh atom gave two compounds, [Rh(CO)(dpmMe)2]Cl and a dinuclear complex that undergoes exchange at room temperature between two formulae: [Rh2(CO)2(μ-Cl)(μ-CO)(dpmMe)2]Cl and [Rh2(CO)2-(μ-Cl)(dpmMe)2]Cl. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Synthesis of Phenylnitrene Complexes with N-Trimethylsilylaniline. II. Characterization and Crystal Structure of the Rhenium(V) Complexes mer-[Re(NPh)Cl3(NH2Ph)(Ph3P)] and trans-[Re(NPh)(OMe)Cl2(Ph3P)2] Reaction of [ReOCl3(Ph3P)2] with N-trimethylsilylaniline yields mer-[Re(NPh)Cl3(Ph3P)2], which reacts under air with excess of N-trimethylsilylaniline to form [Re(NPh)Cl3 · (NH2Ph)(Ph3P)]. Crystallization from CH2Cl2/MeOH affords [Re(NPh)(OMe)Cl2(Ph3P)2] as an additional product. [Re(NPh)Cl3(NH2Ph)(Ph3P)] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 1 192.3(3); b = 1 918.9(3); c = 1 266.3(3) pm; β = 101.71(1)°; Z = 4. The rhenium atom has a distorted octahedral environment with the Cl atoms in meridional positions. The phenyl nitrene ligand is coordinated with an almost linear arrangement Re? N1? C40 = 166.8(6)° and with a bond distance Re?N = 170.5(6) pm. [Re(NPh)(OMe)Cl2(Ph3P)2] · 1/2CH2Cl2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 : a = 1 103.1(4); b = 1 227.9(4); c = 1 711.3(5) pm; α = 70.48(3)°; β = 72.71(3)°; γ = 80.03(3)°; Z = 2. The rhenium atom exhibits a distorted octahedral coordination with the Cl atoms and the phosphine ligands in trans positions. As a consequence of the competition of the nitrene ligand and the trans-coordinated methoxy group the Re?;N bond length is slightly lengthened to 173.2(7) pm, while the Re? O bond length of 193.4(6) pm is short. The bond angles Re? N? C70 and Re? O? C80 are 173.3(7)° and 139.1(7)°, respectively.  相似文献

Preparation and I.R. Spectroscopic Investigations of Siloxysilanols The preparation of siloxanols of the typs (RMe2SiO)3SiOH, (Me3?nPhnSiO)(Me3SiO)2SiOH, (PhMe2SiO)n(Me3SiO)3?nSiOH and Me3?n(R′Me2SiO)nSiOH (n = 1?3) is described. The position of the OH-stretching vibration in carbon tetrachloride and the shift Δν of this band at assoziation with tetrahydrofuran and diethylether have been measured. The position of νOH band and Δν values are determined by n and by the substituents. The Δν values correlate with the σ* constants of the substituents R. Intramolecular interaction between the hydroxy group and the π electrons of phenyl substituents resp. lone pair electrons of the halogen atoms proceed in the siloxanols (XCH2Me2SiO)3SiOH (X = Cl, Br, Ph) and Me3?n(PhMe2SiOSiMe2O)nSiOH (n = 1?3).  相似文献

Oxidative addition of HBF4, CF3SO3H and C4F9SO3H to trans-(Ph3P)2Ir(L)Cl (L = CO, N2) gives the highly reactive irridium(III) complexes (Ph3P)2Ir(L)(Cl)(H)(X) (X = BF4, CF3SO3, C4F9SO3), in which the anion X can be easily substituted by σ- and π-donors. In the dinitrogen complex (Ph3P)2Ir(N2)(Cl)(H)(FBF3) (2a) both the N2 and BF4 ligands are replaced by valinate, diethyldithiocarbamate or tertiary phosphines, respectively. 2a catalyzes the hydrogenation of cyclohexene and the isomerisation of 1,5-cyclooctadiene.  相似文献

Frequencies (ν) and integrated intensities (A) of GeH stretching modes in the IR spectra of (diorgano)germanes containing GeCH2Cl and GeCHCl2 fragments have been measured. Anomalous values of ν and A (compared to those expected from the inductive effect only) are explained by intramolecular coordination between chlorine and germanium atoms. The enthalpy of intramolecular coordination (ΔH) has been determined by IR spectroscopy. The enthalpy of intramolecular coordination is shown to increase with the acceptor properties of the substituents bonded to the germanium atom in (dorgano)- and (triorgano)-germanes.  相似文献

α‐Halogenoacetanilides (X=F, Cl, Br) were examined as H‐bonding organocatalysts designed for the double activation of C?O bonds through NH and CH donor groups. Depending on the halide substituents, the double H‐bond involved a nonconventional C?H???O interaction with either a H?CXn (n=1–2, X=Cl, Br) or a H?CAr bond (X=F), as shown in the solid‐state crystal structures and by molecular modeling. In addition, the catalytic properties of α‐halogenoacetanilides were evaluated in the ring‐opening polymerization of lactide, in the presence of a tertiary amine as cocatalyst. The α‐dichloro‐ and α‐dibromoacetanilides containing electron‐deficient aromatic groups afforded the most attractive double H‐bonding properties towards C?O bonds, with a N?H???O???H?CX2 interaction.  相似文献

Abstract

We have employed the hydrogermolysis reaction for the preparation of rare branched oligogermanes, and have obtained for the first time the X-ray crystal structures of several branched tetragermanes, including (Ph3Ge)3GePh, (Ph3Ge)3GeH, and (Ph3Ge)3GeX (X = Cl or Br). We also have at our disposal branched tetragermanes having the formula (EtOCH2CH2Bu n 2Ge)3GePh, where the ethoxyethyl substituent serves as a protecting group for a germanium–hydride active site. These reagents have been employed for the stepwise synthesis of higher branched systems having up to 13 bonded germanium atoms in the oligomer backbone. The synthesis, structures, and physical characteristics of these systems are described.
