研究电极结构、SiC与电极连接结构对界面场强的影响,通过电极边缘以及SiC晶体结构的优化降低界面处的电场增强,并通过高压试验测试优化电极结构的击穿电压。结果表明,优化电极倒角以及SiC晶体与电极的界面下埋可有效降低电场增强,在电极为圆倒角及界面使用焊料连接的结构下,使用介质环的器件在电压22 kV时击穿。  相似文献

The molecular dynamics of the homogeneously aligned nematic liquid crystal mixture E7 subject to a magnetic field has been studied. The dielectric spectra study has revealed a low bias magnetic field effect on the evolution of dielectric relaxation spectra occurred at lower (∼kHz) (δ-relaxation) and higher (∼MHz) (α-relaxation) frequency regions. The complex electric modulus, which converted from experimental dielectric spectra, has been analyzed with theoretical model of Debye relaxation. The obtained fitting parameters of relaxation time and strength of dielectric components are shown to vary systematically with the strength of applied magnetic field. A microscopic molecular dynamic model has been proposed to describe the two-step variation of E7 molecular under the bias magnetic field. The results provide implication for magneto-modulation of liquid crystal molecular dynamics under the bias magnetic field.  相似文献

基于向列相液晶指向矢随施加电场作用发生变化的特性, 结合几何光学和液晶理论提出了一种液晶透镜结构模型, 研究了电极大小、隔垫物厚度等液晶透镜参数对液晶透镜焦距的影响. 通过优化参数, 得到结构简单、变焦范围较大的新型液晶透镜样品, 在驱动电压0 VRMS–250 VRMS下可调的焦距范围为75–230 mm, 达到155 mm.  相似文献

制备了一种散射偏振片,它是由非晶态单体形成的聚合物网络、向列液晶和涂有聚酰亚胺的ITO玻璃基板组成。聚酰亚胺被反向平行摩擦,液晶分子则沿摩擦方向取向,并被单体形成的网络所稳定。根据聚合物网络液晶的电光特性可知。入射偏振光束被散射或透射相应地取决于其偏振方向平行还是生趣于基板的摩擦方向。平行时,光的散射强度通过电场可被强烈地调节;垂直时,光的透过率很高,几乎不依赖施加的电场。这种偏振器件具有低的驱动  相似文献

The electric properties of the liquid insulator have been studied in this work. We have described the time-dependent model of the conduction processes in the liquid insulator under high voltages. Our model is a generalization of the Frenkel conduction model. (The last deals only with stationary conduction processes). Calculation of the electric field has also been made for two types of problems: (1) the external electric field applied to a liquid, is created by plane electrodes. (2) A spherical electrode of a small size creates it. The electrodes are assumed to be under constant high voltage. There is no electron emission or ion injection from the electrodes. But the field intensity influences on the molecular dissociation rate, and this fact has been taken into account. We have shown that the space charge, which arises under conditions mentioned above gives rise to changes in the electric field distribution. The model on hand is also used for calculating the hydrodynamic phenomena under high non-uniform electric field intensities. It has also been shown that the velocity of the strong EHD flows is proportional to the value of direct current or the squared value of applied voltage.  相似文献

利用低光强曝光进行全息液晶/聚合物光栅(HPDLC)的制备,获得了内部无液晶微滴具有聚合物支撑形貌的低散射透射光栅结构.分别研究了染料PM567,DCM,DCJTI的放大的自发辐射(ASE)阈值及相对出射光强等性质,得到三种染料中DCJIT的ASE阈值最低,相对出射光强最高,表明DCJTI更适于制备低阈值、高转化效率激光器.分别采用这三种染料制备基于聚合物支撑形貌光栅的分布反馈式激光器,通过改变光栅周期得到不同出射波长的激光.其中,以DCJTI为工作物质,得到中心波长为648 nm,阈值为0.65μJ/pulse,转化效率为1.6%,线宽为0.3 nm的高性能激光.与国内外同类激光器相比,在阈值、转化效率、线宽三个方面均有不同程度的提高.  相似文献

Second-order interference with respect to the field strength during spontaneous parametric light scattering was studied under the conditions of absorption at the frequencies of idler (polariton) modes. An expression is derived that describes the scattered light intensity as a function of the scattering angle for an arbitrary shape of the nonlinear interaction region. The interference was experimentally studied for the light scattering on polaritons in a nonlinear crystal (lithium iodate, iodic acid), with a double slit placed into a pumping beam in front of the crystal.  相似文献

Pressure has a specific influence on the light scattering in those liquids in which all molecules have an unsaturated double bond C=C. Strong changes of intensity of transmitted and scattered light in oleic acid were observed during its transition to the high-pressure phase. In this paper, local order in liquid of oleic acid has been studied using the X-ray diffraction photographic Laue method. Experiments were run at room temperature under atmospheric pressure as well as under pressures up to 0.25 GPa. At pressures above 0.2 GPa a strong increase of ordering of molecules, similar to a smectic liquid crystal phase, has been observed. This confirms results obtained previously by studies of light scattering under high pressure.  相似文献

介绍了聚合物分散液晶(PDLC)和应变液晶(SLC)以及散射偏光片的概念,实验制备了应变液晶散射偏光片样品,样品由两张胶片夹层聚合物分散液晶膜在紫外光固化过程中施加剪切应力所形成。给出了样品偏光显微镜照片和可见光分光光度计偏光特性光谱分析。实验结果表明,应变液晶散射偏光片样品外观半透明,在正交偏光场中转动样品有颜色变化,通过样品观察液晶显示器屏幕,在不同角度下有透射和散射作用,在偏光显微镜中观察样品有衬垫料被拉动的痕迹,光谱分析显示样品在绿光550nm波长处最大透光率T∥≈50%,最小透光率T⊥≈5%,偏振度P≈82%。实验结果对于研制实用的拉伸液晶散射偏光片具有参考意义。  相似文献

The electro-optic effect in hybrid structures based on subwavelength metallic nanogratings in contact with a layer of a nematic liquid crystal has been experimentally studied. Metallic gratings are fabricated in the form of interdigitated electrodes, which makes it possible to use them not only as optical elements but also for the production of an electric field in a thin surface region of the layer of the liquid crystal. It has been shown that, owing to the electric-field-induced reorientation of molecules of the liquid crystal near the surface of the grating, it is possible to significantly control the spectral features of the transmission of light, which are caused by the excitation of surface plasmons. The electro-optic effect is superfast for liquid crystal devices because a change in the optical properties of the system requires the reorientation of molecules only in a very thin surface layer of the liquid crystal.  相似文献

The electron transport in hydrogenated amorphous carbon films a-C: H with copper nanocluster inclusions has been investigated. The conditions of cluster formation are derived. It is theoretically demonstrated that the energy band structure of the matrix substantially affects the conditions of cluster formation. The electron transport depends on the cluster structure. It is found that, below the percolation threshold (the case of isolated clusters), the transport current is governed by two components depending on the electric field strength. At low field strengths, the current is caused by electrons in the conduction band of amorphous carbon, which are thermally excited from copper clusters. At high field strengths, the transport current is provided by tunneling electrons from the Fermi level of copper clusters to the conduction band of a-C: H. The difference between the mobility edge of the conduction band of amorphous carbon and the Fermi level in copper clusters is determined from the temperature dependence of the resistance and proves to be equal to 0.48 eV. The temperature dependences of the resistance at low field strengths exhibit a fine structure. It is revealed that, above the percolation threshold, the electrical resistance of clusters is considerably contributed by the residual resistance, which is supposedly associated with the electron scattering by cluster surfaces. The temperature effect on the electron transport is examined using the spin-wave scattering technique at a frequency of 4.0 GHz. It is found that the spin wave in the yttrium iron garnet (YIG) film is predominantly affected by thermally excited electrons located above the mobility edge in the conduction band of a-C: H.  相似文献

The change in the intensity of light scattering in a colloidal solution of magnetite particles in kerosene under the simultaneous action of coaxial and mutually perpendicular electric and magnetic fields has been studied. It has been found that, at certain strengths of mutually perpendicular fields, the change in the scattering intensity is maximal. The effect observed has been interpreted on the basis of the Rayleigh-Debye-Gans anisotropic approximation within the model of orientation of aggregates of magnetite particles under the joint action of the fields.  相似文献

The deformation of the optical axis of a nematic liquid crystal layer under the influence of an electric field is caused by the dielectric torque. This momentum counteracts with an elastic torque generated by interfacial forces between the surface of the electrode and the liquid crystal. By means of a variational analysis, the deformation profiles within the liquid crystal layer are calculated, assuming large interfacial energies and various angles of pretilt of the liquid crystal directors with respect to the electrodes. Both the extreme case of a homeotropic (vertical) alignment on one electrode and a homogeneous (parallel) alignment on the opposite electrode, as well as the general case of arbitrary and different alignments on both electrodes, lead to heavily pretilted liquid crystal layers, resulting in definite deformation profiles without disclinations. Liquid crystal cells prepared in this way neither show threshold voltages nor delay times when electrical fields are applied. Measured and calculated characteristics of such liquid crystal cells are presented, they show good agreement.  相似文献

Under the assumption that the Fowler-Nordheim equation holds for the leakage current the influence of traps on the emission current from the sandwich cathodes is investigated. A simple model, describing the capture of electrons at the localized states in the forbidden band of the dielectric, their liberation by a thermal emission or by a field, the transmission of these electrons through the top metal electrode and the transfer into vacuum, has been proposed for this purpose. The expression obtained for the transfer ratio is then discussed and compared with the other expressions derived in a preceding paper for ideal dielectrics, for dielectrics containing an elastic scattering mechanism and for electron-optical phonon interactions. It is shown that at the same intensity of various scattering processes the traps reduce the emission current to the highest degree.  相似文献

The transmission spectra of polarized light waves in a photonic crystal/liquid crystal (PC/LC) cell placed between crossed polarizers and controlled by an electric or magnetic field have been studied experimentally and theoretically. Electro- and magneto-optical switching based on the interference of polarized defect modes has been demonstrated. The transmission spectra of the PC/LC cell have been calculated as a function of the voltage applied to the LC layer and the magnetic field strength. The results of the calculations agree well with the experimental data.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a novel type of nematic liquid crystal cell with carbon nanotube film deposited by electrophoresis as the alignment layer. Self-diffraction was observed without applying a dc voltage across the cell under low intensity optical irradiation of a few milliwatts at 488 nm. The first-order diffraction efficiency increased and the response time of the grating decreased with the applied dc voltage increasing up to the dynamic scattering threshold voltage at 4 V (the corresponding dc electric field was 0.2 V/μm). A diffraction efficiency of ∼20%, the grating formation time of 0.5 s and an effective refractive index change coefficient of 0.14 cm2/W were obtained at 3.7 V with a writing beam intensity of 33 mW/cm2. These observed phenomena were attributed to the photoactive charge layer formed at the interface of the carbon nanotube film and the liquid crystal film. A method for numerical simulation of stimulated Raman scattering of cylindrical wave beams in a nonlinear medium has been developed. The features of the spatial structure formation of interacting wave fields in the regime of conservation of azimuthal angular distributions of amplitudes have been investigated. The radial intensity profiles of diffracting light beams in the near-field zone and their angular spectra in the far-field zone corresponding to different stages of energy exchange in the process of amplification from the noise in the barium nitrate crystal have been calculated. It has been shown that in the field of Bessel beams waveguide structures of the soliton type with a peak intensity of the self-channeling Stokes component significantly exceeding the initial pumping intensity are formed. A comparison of the conversion efficiencies under pumping by Gaussian and Bessel light beams has been made.  相似文献

MnSi is an itinerant magnet which at low temperatures develops a helical spin-density wave. Under pressure it undergoes a transition into an unusual partially ordered state whose nature is debated. Here we propose that the helical spin crystal (the magnetic analog of a solid) is a useful starting point to understand partial order in MnSi. We consider different helical spin crystals and determine conditions under which they may be energetically favored. The most promising candidate has bcc structure and is reminiscent of the blue phase of liquid crystals in that it has line nodes of magnetization protected by symmetry. We introduce a Landau theory to study the properties of these states, in particular, the effect of crystal anisotropy, magnetic field, and disorder. These results compare favorably with existing data on MnSi from neutron scattering and magnetic field studies. Future experiments to test this scenario are also proposed.  相似文献

An improved method is proposed to investigate the behavior of a Yukawa liquid under the action of an external field strength using computer simulated nonequilibrium molecular dynamics. The thermal conductivity calculations with appropriate normalizations, in the limit of low value field strengths, are estimated over a wide range of the Coulomb coupling and screening strengths. The new simulations provide more reliable data for the thermal conductivity than the previously known results for the Yukawa liquids. The calculations show that the thermal conductivity is dependent on both the Coulomb coupling and screening parameters in the three‐dimensional (3D) Yukawa liquids. The low value field strength simulation data are found to obey the universal and quasiuniversal scaling. It is shown that the homogenous nonequilibrium method can be used to predict the thermal conductivity in Yukawa systems and to understand the fundamental features of 3D dusty plasma liquids (© 2012 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
