根据扩展的相对论多组态Dirac-Fock理论计算得到的Au47 ~Au53 离子的平均离子寿命、能级能量和能级简并度,计算了各离子的电离速率常数、复合速率常数和配分函数,并由此得到了离子间的电离-复合平衡常数.基于这些数据,利用电离复合动力学方法研究了金等离子体内7离子系统在一定电子温度和电子密度下的电荷态分布和平均离化度.并给出了Au47 ~Au53 的离子丰度与电子温度和电子密度的函数关系.  相似文献

The ‘charge state breeder’, BRIC (breeding ion charge) is in construction at the INFN section of Bari (Italy). It is based on EBIS scheme and it is designed to accept radioactive ion beam (RIB) with charge state +1 in a slow injection mode. This experiment can be considered as a first step towards the design and construction of a charge breeder for the SPES project. The new feature of BRIC, with respect to the classical EBIS, is given by the insertion, in the ion chamber, of a rf-quadrupole aiming at filtering the unwanted masses and then making a more efficient containment of the wanted ions. In this paper, the breeder design, the simulation results of the electron and ion beam propagation and the construction problems of the device will be reported.  相似文献

A radial sputter probe has been developed for the AECR-U as an additional method of producing metal ion beams.Negative voltage is applied to the probe to incite collisions with target atoms,thereby sputtering material into the plasma.The sputter probe is positioned through one of the 6 radial access slots between the permanent hexapole structure of the AECR-U.The probe position can be varied with respect to the inner edge of the hexapole magnet structure.Charge state distributions and peak beam intensities at bias voltages up to-5kV were obtained for gold samples at varying distances of the probe with respect to the plasma.For high charge states production the radial position with respect to the plasma was more sensitive than for the medium and lower charge states.For high charge state ion production the probe was optimized at a distance of 0.6cm inside the chamber wall(4.1cm from the center of the chamber).Stable beams with peak intensities of up to 28eμA of Au~(24 ) and 1.42eμA of Au~(41 ) have been produced using the sputter probe technique. In addition,a solid state circuit under development by Scientific Solutions,Inc which provides a bandwidth up to 100MHz was used to drive the 14GHz klystron amplifier for the LBNL AECR-U ion source.Various broadband and discrete heating modes were tested and the results for high charge state ion production were compared with single frequency heating.  相似文献

A projectile ion-recoil ion coincidence technique has been employed to study the multiple ionization and the charge transfer processes in collisions of 60–120 MeV Si q+ (q = 4−14) ions with neutral argon atoms. The relative contribution of different ionization channels, namely; direct ionization, electron capture and electron loss leading to the production of slow moving multiply charged argon recoil ions have been investigated. The data reported on the present collision system result from a direct measurement in the considered impact energy for the first time. The total ionization cross-sections for the recoil ions are shown to scale as q 1.7/E p 0.5 , where E p is the energy in MeV of the projectile and q its charge state. The recoil fractions for the cases of total- and direct ionizations are found to decrease with increasing recoil charge state j. The total ionization fractions of the recoils are seen to depend on q and to show the presence of a ‘shell-effect’ of the target. Further, the fractions are found to vary as 1/j 2 upto j = 8+. The average recoil charge state 〈j〉 increases slowly with q and with the number of lost or captured electrons from or into the projectile respectively. The projectile charge changing cross-sections σ qq are found to decrease with increasing q for loss ionization and to increase with q for direct-and capture ionization processes respectively. The physics behind various scaling rules that are found to follow our data for different ionization processes is reviewed and discussed.  相似文献

Relative Distribution of Au48 ~ Au52 in Au Plasma by Ionization Dynamics   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The present work proposes a theoretical method called ionization dynamics to derive the ionic charge state distribution. Using relativistic quantum mechanics to calculate the energy level lifetime and average ionic lifetime of each ion, the first-order ionization rate constant can be obtained. Based on these data, from the solution of differential equations for consecutive-irreversible ionization reactions, one will be able to derive the ionic charge state distribution.The calculated average positive charge 49.24 of Au48 ~ Au52 and their relative distribution are in good agreement with the results of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.  相似文献

The transmissions of oxygen ions through Al2O3 nanocapillaries each 50 nm in diameter and 10 μm in length at a series of different tilt angles are measured,where the ions with energies ranging from 10 to 60 keV and charge states from 1 up to 6 are involved.The angular distribution and the transmission yields of transported ions are investigated.Our results indicate both the existence of a guiding effect when ions pass through the capillary and a significant dependence of the ion transmission on the energy and the charge state of the ions.The guiding effects are observed to be enhanced at lower projectile energies and higher charge states.Meanwhile,the results also exhibit that the transmission yields increase as the tilt angle decreases at a given energy and charge state.  相似文献

An ECR ion source for charge breeding of radioactive ions from the ISAC facility at TRIUMF has been set up at a test stand.It has been operated with different ion sources for the injection of singly charged ions and the efficiency,breeding time and emittance have been determined for several elements.A maximum efficiency of more than 6% for the breeding of Kr~(12 ) has been achieved so far.Additionally the charge exchange of Rb and Cs ions in the range of 10 to 23 with residual gas molecules in the transport beam lines has been investigated.The absolute values for the cross sections at 10—15 q keV agree with predictions extrapolated from lower charge states but the strong dependence on the ionization energy of the gas molecules could not be verified.  相似文献

A gold target has been irradiated with a Q-switched Nd:Yag laser having 1064?nm wavelength, 9?ns pulse width, 900?mJ maximum pulse energy and a maximum power density of the order of 1010?W/cm2. The laser–target interaction produces a strong gold etching with production of a plasma in front of the target. The plasma contains neutrals and ions having a high charge state. Time-of-flight (TOF) measurements are presented for the analysis of the ion production and ion velocity. A cylindrical electrostatic deflection ion analyzer permits measurement of the yield of the emitted ions, their charge state and their ion energy distribution. Measurements indicate that the ion charge state reaches 6+ and 10+ at a laser fluence of 100?J/cm2 and 160?J/cm2, respectively. The maximum ion energy reaches about 2?keV and 8?keV at these low and high laser fluences, respectively. Experimental ion energy distributions are given as a function of the ion charge state. Obtained results indicate that electrical fields, produced in the plume, along the normal to the plane of the target surface, exist in the unstable plasma. The electrical fields induce ion acceleration away from the target with a final velocity dependent on the ion charge state. The ion velocity distributions follow a “shifted Maxwellian distribution”, which the authors have corrected for the Coulomb interactions occurring inside the plasma.  相似文献

报道了在兰州重离子加速器国家实验室测量动能为2.4 MeV的Xeq+(q=10, 15, 20, 26)轰击Au表面辐射的X射线的实验数据. 实验结果表明, Au的M-X射线有不同程度的能移, 这是由于入射过程引起了靶原子内壳层的多电离, 多电离的程度主要取决于离子的外壳层电子分布. 计算了X射线产额, 并与BEA理论计算值进行了比较, 讨论了电荷态对X射线产额的影响.  相似文献

Ultrafast relaxation kinetics of fucoxanthin in polar and non-polar solvents have been studied by femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy. Transient absorption associated with S1 or intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) excited state has been observed following either one-photon excitation to the optically allowed S2 state or two-photon excitation to the symmetry-forbidden S1 state. The results suggest that the ICT state formed after excitation of fucoxanthin in a polar solvent is a distinct excited state from S1.  相似文献

A method is proposed to calculate the nonequilibrium charge fractions and mean charges of light ions, depending on film thickness. The calculated results are presented for three charge fractions of 0.75 MeV/nucleon B ion beam, passing through the organic film, and for four charge fractions of 2 MeV/nucleon Ne beam, passing through the carbon film. The dependence of energy loss on the initial charge of projectile Ne ions and target thickness in the nonequilibrium conditions is examined.  相似文献

The high charge state all permanent Electron Cyclotron Resonance Ion Source(ECRIS)LAPECR2 (Lanzhou All Permanent magnet ECR ion source No.2)has been successfully put on the 320kV HV platform at IMP and also has been connected with the successive LEBT system.This source is the largest and heaviest all permanent magnet ECRIS in the world.The maximum mirror field is 1.28T(without iron plug)and the effective plasma chamber volume is as large as (?)67mm×255mm.It was designed to be operated at 14.5GHz and aimed to produce medium charge state and high charge state gaseous and also metallic ion beams.The source has already successfully delivered some intense gaseous ion beams to successive experimental terminals.This paper will give a brief overview of the basic features of this permanent magnet ECRIS.Then commissioning results of this source on the platform,the design of the extraction system together with the successive LEBT system will be presented.  相似文献

In this work.highly charged ions have been extracted from the advanced Electron Beam Ion Source (EBIS-A) developed in a scientific cooperation between the Dresden University of Technology and the DREEBIT GmbH Dresden.The charge state distributions of ions extracted from the EBIS-A are measured in and extracted in the leaky mode.3×105 Ar18+ ions per pulse are extracted in the pulse mode.The ion charge state distribution is a function of the ionization time.  相似文献

用固相反应法制备了La0.45Ca0.55Mn1-xVxO3(x=0.00,0.10)多晶样品.通过X射线衍射谱、质量磁化强度-温度曲线、电子自旋共振谱,研究了V5+替代Mn3+/Mn4+对La0.45Ca0.55MnO3电荷有序相和自旋玻璃态的影响.实验结果表明,当x=0.10时,不仅母体的电荷有序相基本破坏,而且母体在40K左右出现的自旋玻璃态也被融化.电荷有序相被破坏的主要原因是用V5+替代Mn3+/Mn4+后,增加了Mn3+与Mn4+的比例,使铁磁双交换作用优于反铁磁超交换作用;自旋玻璃态的融化是由于V替代Mn后破坏了反铁磁背景下有少量铁磁成分的自旋玻璃态的形成条件.  相似文献

在中国科学技术大学(以下简称中国科大)建校50周年之际,文章作者对近年来中国科大在高温超导物理方面的最新研究进展情况作一介绍,包括新型高温超导材料探索研究和高温超导机理实验研究.在新型高温超导材料探索研究方面,文章作者首次发现了除高温超导铜基化合物以外第一个超导温度突破麦克米兰极限(39 K)的非铜基超导体——铁基砷化物SmO1-xFxFeAs,该类材料的最高超导转变温度可达到55K;中国科大还成功地制备出大量高质量的超导化合物单晶,包括Nd2-xCexCuO4,NaxCoO2,CuxTiSe2等.在高温超导机理实验研究方面,中国科大系统地研究了SmO1-xFxFeAs体系的电输运性质给出了该体系的电子相图;发现了在电子型高温超导体中存在反常的热滞现象和电荷-自旋强烈耦合作用;在NaxCoO2体系中也开展了系列的工作,并且首次明确了电荷有序态中小自旋的磁结构问题;此外,还系统地研究了CuxTiSe2体系中电荷密度波与超导的相互关系.  相似文献
