ABSTRACT

The axially symmetric flexural interaction of a uniformly loaded circular plate resting in smooth contact with an isotropic elastic halfspace is examined by using an energy method. In this development the deflected shape of the plate is represented in the form of a power series expansion which satisfies the kinematic constraints of the plate deformation. The flexural behavior of the plate is described by the classical Poisson-Kirchhoff thin plate theory. Using the energy formulation, analytical solutions are obtained for the maximum deflection, the relative deflection, and the maximum flexural moment in the circular plate. The results derived from the energy method are compared with equivalent results derived from numerical techniques. The solution based on the energy method yields accurate results for a wide range of relative rigidities of practical interest.  相似文献

The scattering of flexural wave by multiple circular holes in an infinite thin plate is analytically solved by using the multipole Trefftz method. The dynamic moment concentration factor (DMCF) along the edge of circular holes is determined. Based on the addition theorem, the solution of the field represented by multiple coordinate systems centered at each circle can be transformed into one coordinate system centered at one circle, where the boundary conditions are given. In this way, a coupled infinite system of simultaneous linear algebraic equations is derived as an analytical model for the scattering of flexural wave by multiple holes in an infinite plate subject to the incident flexural wave. The formulation is general and is easily applicable to dealing with the problem containing multiple circular holes. Although the number of hole is not limited in our proposed method, the numerical results of an infinite plate with three circular holes are presented in the truncated finite system. The effects of both incident wave number and the central distance among circular holes on the DMCF are investigated. Numerical results show that the DMCF of three holes is larger than that of one, when the space among holes is small and meanwhile the specified direction of incident wave is subjected to the plate.  相似文献

In this paper,the functions of warping displacement interruption defined on the crack lines are taken for the fundamental unknown functions.The torsion problem of cracked circular cylinder is reduced to solving a system of integral equations with strongly singular kernels.Using the numerical method of these equations,the torsional rigidities and the stress intensity factors are calculated to solve the torsion problem of circular cylinder with star-type and other different types of cracks.The numerical results are satisfactory.  相似文献

The purpose of this research is to study the Saint-Venant's problem for right cylinders with general cross-section made of inhomogeneous anisotropic elastic materials with voids. We reformulate the quasi-static equilibrium equations with the axial variable playing the role of a parameter. Two classes of semi-inverse solutions to Saint-Venant's problem are described in terms of five generalized plane strain problems. These classes are used in order to obtain a semi-inverse solution for the relaxed Saint-Venant's problem. An application of this results in the study of extension, bending, torsion and flexure of right circular cylinders in the case of isotropic materials is presented.  相似文献

The flexural vibrations and dissipative heating of a circular bimorph piezoceramic plate are studied. The plate is excited by a harmonic electric field applied to nonuniformly electroded surfaces. The viscoelastic behavior of piezoceramics is described in terms of temperature-dependent complex moduli. The nonlinear coupled problem of thermoviscoelasticity is solved by step-by-step integration in time, using the discrete-orthogonalization method to solve the mechanics equations and the finite-differences method to solve the heat-conduction equations. Based on the motion equations of flexural wave in Ambartsumian's plates including the effects of transverse shear deformations, by using perturbation method of small parameter, the scattering of flexural waves and dynamic stress concentrations in the plate with a cutout have been studied. The asymptotic solution of the dynamic stress problem is obtained. Numerical results for the dynamic stress concentration factor in Ambartsumian's plates with a circular cutour are graphically presented and discussed. 基于von Karman板大挠度弯曲理论,利用小参数摄动法,分析研究了含孔vonKarman板的非线性波散射与动应力集中问题,其中一类可看成是薄板弯曲波动问题的控制方程。当有单频波入射时,由于弯曲应力与膜应力状态的非线性耦合,孔洞会产生高次谐波散射现象。建立了求解本问题的边界积分方程法,利用积分方程法交替求求这两类问题,最终可获得问题的近似分析解。  相似文献

The theoretical analysis and numerical calculation of scattering of elastic waves and dynamic stress concentrations in the thin plate with the cutout was studied using dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRM). Based on the work equivalent law, the dual reciprocity boundary integral equations for flexural waves in the thin plate were established using static fundamental solution. As illustration, numerical results for the dynamic stress concentration factors in the thin plate with a circular hole are given. The results obtained demonstrate good agreement with other reported results and show high accuracy.  相似文献

研究弹性圆板在饱和地基上的垂直振动特性,即首先应用Hankel变换方法求解饱和土波动方程,然后按混合边值条件建立饱和地基上圆板垂直振动的对偶积分方程,用一种简便的方法,对偶积分方程可化为易于数值计算的第二类Fredholm积分方程。文末的数值分析得出了板振动的一些规律性,由此表明当板的挠曲刚度D趋于无穷大且不计板的质量时,其结果和无质量刚性圆盘在饱和地基上的振动特性完全一致。  相似文献

The effect of small initial deviations from the ideal circular shape of a shell on the frequencies and modes of flexural eigenvibrations is studied with the use of the linear theory of thin shallow shells. It is assumed that the initial deviations are responsible for interaction between flexural and radial vibrations of the shell. The modal equations are derived by the Bubnov—Galerkin method. It is shown that the initial deviations from the ideal circular shape split the flexural vibration spectrum, and the fundamental frequency decreases compared to that of the ideal shell.  相似文献

研究Winkler地基上正交各向异性矩形薄板弯曲方程所对应的Hamilton正则方程, 计算出其对边滑支条件下相应Hamilton算子的本征值和本征函数系, 证明该本征函数系的辛正交性以及在Cauchy主值意义下的完备性, 进而给出对边滑支边界条件下Hamilton正则方程的通解, 之后利用辛叠加方法求出Winkler地基上四边自由正交各向异性矩形薄板弯曲问题的解析解. 最后通过两个具体算例验证了所得解析解的正确性.  相似文献

A static, purely flexural mechanical analysis is presented for a Kirchhoff solid circular plate, deflected by a transverse central force, and clamped along two antipodal arcs, the remaining part of the boundary being free. By adopting an integral formulation, the contact reaction is assumed to be formed by four equal concentrated forces acting at the support extremities, accompanied by two distributed moments with radial and circumferential axis, respectively. This plate problem is rephrased in terms of a complex-valued Hilbert singular integral equation of the second kind, whose solution is obtained in analytical, integral form. A design chart is presented that reports the plate central deflection as a function of the angular width of the plate supports.  相似文献

Exact solutions are presented for the Saint-Venant torsion of circular tubes and solid cylinders which are reinforced by cylindrical inclusions of different material equally spaced around a concentric circle. The problems simulate those encountered in matrix rods reinforced by longitudinal fibers, and also in corresponding problems of reinforced concrete. Formulae are obtained for the boundary stress distributions and the torsional rigidities.Stress function formulations are made for the torsion of cylinders having multiply connected composite sections. Two systems of polar coordinates are employed, and use is made both of periodicity and symmetry. Three degenerate cases—the respective torsion of a homogeneous tube, ring of circular rods and tube with eccentric circular holes—are deduced for checking purposes. Several numerical examples are worked out and the results presented in tabular and graphical forms.  相似文献

An approximate analytical solution is obtained for the problem of minimizing the cross-sectional area of elastic, doubly-connected cylindrical bars for given lower bounds on torsional and flexural rigidities. The bars are designed to withstand either a twisting or a bending moment, but not both, at any given time. The shape of the inner contour of the doubly-connected (hollow) cross-section is specified while that of the outer contour is determined as a result of the optimization.
