We have investigated hydrolysis and oxidation effects on tin octoate and on tin-octoate residues in RTV polysiloxane foams by means of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Mössbauer spectroscopy (MS). 119Sn NMR showed the presence of various tin species whereas 119Sn MS detected the presence of two oxidation states: Sn(II) and Sn(IV). The relative abundance of Sn(IV) increased as both the tin octoate and the foam aged. Foams were also solvent extracted and no selective extraction of one tin oxidation state was observed; both oxidation states were detected. 13C NMR indicated that octanoic acid is present in the tin octoate and in the foams as a residue. MS data showed that aging treatments of the foams and of the neat catalyst have a great effect on the tin oxidation state. The two spectroscopic methods complement each other in following the effects of hydrolysis and oxidation.  相似文献

The reaction of 4,4′‐bipy with dimethyltin(IV) chloride iso‐thiocyanate affords the one‐dimensional (1D) coordination polymer, [Me2Sn(NCS)Cl·(4,4′‐bipy)]n ( 1 ), whereas reaction of dimethyltin(IV) dichloride with sodium pyrazine‐2‐carboxylate in the presence of potassium iso‐thiocyanate affords the two‐dimensional (2D) coordination polymer, {[Me2Sn(C4H3N2COO)2]2 [Me2Sn(NCS)2]}n ( 2 ). Both coordination polymers were characterized by elemental analysis and infrared spectroscopy in addition to 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy of the soluble coordination polymer ( 1 ). A single‐crystal structure determination showed that the asymmetric unit in 1 contains Me2Sn(NCS)Cl and 4,4′‐bipy moieties and a 1D infinite rigid chain structure forms through bridging of the 4,4′‐bipy ligand between tin atoms and the geometry around the tin atom is a distorted octahedral. Coordination polymer 2 contains two distinct tin atom geometrics in which one tin atom is seven coordinate, and the other is six coordinate. The two tin atom environments are best described as a pentagonal bipyramidal in the former and distorted octahedral in the latter where the carboxylate groups bridge the two tin atoms and construct a 2D‐coordination polymer. The 119Sn NMR spectroscopy indicates the octahedral geometry of 1 retains in solution. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Three new diorganotin(IV) complexes, [Me2Sn(L)] (2), [Bu2Sn(L)] (3), and [Ph2Sn(L)] (4) [where H2L (1) = 2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzaldehyde-N(4)-cyclohexylthiosemicarbazone] have been synthesized by reacting the corresponding diorganotin(IV) dichloride with H2L (1) in absolute methanol in the presence of potassium hydroxide. All the compounds have been characterized by CHN analyses, UV–vis, FT-IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of H2L (1) and 2 have been confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. H2L (1) is found to be in the thiol tautomeric form. The X-ray structure of 2 showed that H2L is a tridentate ligand and binds to the tin(IV) atom via the phenolic oxygen, azomethine nitrogen, and thiolate sulfur. Complex 2 has a triclinic structure and the coordination geometry of tin(IV) is distorted trigonal bipyramidal. The sulfur and oxygen are in axial positions while the azomethine nitrogen of 1 and two methyl groups occupy the equatorial positions. The C-Sn-C angles determined from 1J(119Sn, 13C) for 2, 3, and 4 are 124.35°, 123.11°, and 123.82°, respectively. The values of δ(119Sn) for 2, 3, and 4 are ?153.4, ?180.59, and ?158.3 ppm, respectively, indicating five-coordinate tin(IV). From NMR data a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal configuration at each tin is proposed.  相似文献

Two dibenzyltin(IV) complexes with thiobenzoate ligand, (PhCH2)2Sn(SOCPh)2 (1) and (PhCH2)2Sn(C1)SOCPh (2), have been synthesized by the reaction of dibenzyltin(IV) dichloride with thiobenzoic acid in the presence of organic base Et3N and characterized by IR, ^1H NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Their crystal structures were determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis. In the crystals of 1, the tin atom is six-coordinated in a distorted octahedron configuration. In the crystals of 2, the molecular packing in unit cell reveals that the two adjacent molecules are symmetrically linked to each other to form a dimer with intermolecular Sn…C1 distances of 0.3591 (2) nm and the tin atom is five-coordinated in a distorted trigonal bipyramid configuration.  相似文献

Di- and tri-organotin(IV) complexes of general formula R2SnAH, (R3Sn)2AH, R2SnB, (R3Sn)2B (A=dianion of mercaptosuccinic acid; B=dianion of thiodiacetic acid; R=Me, Et, nPr, nBu, nOct in R2Sn and nBu in R3Sn) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. These data support the preferential binding of sulphur over carboxylate by tin(IV) in R2SnAH and (R3Sn)2AH. R2SnAH complexes are assigned pentacoordinated bridged polymeric trigonal bipyramidal geometry whereas (R3Sn)2AH complexes are monomeric with trigonal bipyramidal geometry at tin arising from a bidentate carboxylate group at one tin atom and from weak bonding via Sn←O?C at the other tin atom. In R2SnB and (R3Sn)2B, tin(IV) binds to two carboxylate groups in a unidentate and a bidentate manner respectively, resulting in tetracoordinated and pentacoordinated structures. Potential uses of these compounds are discussed.  相似文献

The reaction of N‐methyl‐2,2′‐diphenolamine 1 and 2,2′‐diphenolamine 2 with some diorganotin(IV) oxides [R1/2SnO: R1 = Me, n‐Bu, t‐Bu and Ph] led to the syntheses of diorgano[N‐methyl‐2,2′‐diphenolato‐O,O′,N]tin (IV) 3–6 and diorgano[2,2′‐diphenolato‐O,O′,N]tin (IV) 7–9 . All compounds (except 7 ) studied in this work were characterized by 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR, infrared, and mass spectroscopy. Their 119Sn NMR data show that the tin atom is tetracoordinated in CDCl3 but penta and hexacoordinated in DMSO‐d6. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Heteroatom Chem 10: 133–139, 1999  相似文献

Triorganotin(IV) complexes of the type Me3Sn[OC(R1):CH(CH3)C:NR2OH] and Ph3Sn[OC(R′):CH(CH3)C:NR″OH] (R′ = ─CH3, ─C6H5; R″ = ─(CH2)2─, ─(CH2)3─) have been synthesized by the reactions of trimethyl/phenyltin(IV) chloride with the sodium salt of corresponding Schiff base ligands in unimolar ratio in refluxing tetrahydrofuran. All these compounds have been characterized using elemental analyses and their probable structures have been proposed on the basis of infrared, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 119Sn NMR and mass spectroscopic studies. In the trimethyltin(IV) derivatives the central tin atom is tetracoordinated, whereas in the analogous triphenyltin(IV)derivatives the central tin atom is pentacoordinated. All these ligands, metal precursors and corresponding triorganotin(IV) complexes have been screened for antimicrobial activities. A comparison of activities of the ligands and their corresponding triorganotin(IV) derivatives has been made. Attempts have also been made to relate the activity to the structure of these compounds.  相似文献

The synthesis of three hexadentate Schiff base ligands has been carried out, which contain two sets of ONO donor atoms. These were reacted with diorganotin(IV) dichloride derivatives (R = Me, nBu, Ph) to prepare seven dinuclear diorganotin(IV) complexes in moderate yields. Aside from IR and NMR (1H, 13C, 119Sn) spectroscopic studies, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis, four tin complexes were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. The spectroscopic analyses showed that in solution the tin atoms have five-coordinate environments with a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. Each tin atom is coordinated to the nitrogen atom and forms covalent bonds with two oxygen atoms and two carbon atoms. Due to the presence of a methylene group as bridge between the two ONO chelates, the overall molecular structures can have cis or trans conformation, having either mirror or C2-symmetry. While in solution a fast equilibrium can be supposed, in the solid state different intermediate conformations have been detected. Furthermore, for the dialkyltin derivatives Sn?O intermolecular interactions were found allowing for a dimeric or crinkled polymeric organization, whereas for the diphenyltin derivatives no such interactions were observed.  相似文献

Abstract

Reaction of tri-n-butyl tin(IV) chloride with the sodium salt of Schiff bases [salicylidene-2-aminopyridine (sapH), salicylidene-2-amino-4-picoline (sapicH), salicylidene-2-methyl-1-aminobenzene (o-smabH), salicylidene-4-methyl-1-aminobenzene (p-smabH), salicylidene-1- aminobenzene (sabH), salicylidene-3-nitro-1-aminobenzene (snabH)] in MeOH-C6H6 mixture in 1:1 molar ratio produced complexes of the type [Bun 3Sn(sb)] (where sb = Schiff bases). All complexes obtained were characterized by elemental analysis (C, H, N, and Sn), infrared (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR; 1H, 13C, and 119Sn), and TOF-MS spectroscopic studies. These complexes were found to be monomeric, colored viscous liquids and are soluble in polar solvents (methanol, ethanol, DMSO, and DMF). On the basis of 119Sn NMR observations, a five coordination geometry around tin(IV) atom in these complexes is proposed tentatively.  相似文献

A new tin(IV) complex, (C13H10NO)[SnCl4(C9H6NO)]·2CH3OH, was prepared in a facile process and characterized by 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR, IR, and UV spectroscopy in addition to single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Current–voltage (I–V) characteristics, photoluminescence (PL), and electroluminescence (EL) properties of the complex have been investigated and an application of the prepared complex in fabrication of an organic light-emitting diode has been demonstrated. The EL of the compound exhibits blue–green emission at 494?nm. Tin(IV) oxide core that resulted from direct thermal decomposition of the complex at 450?°C in air was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscopy; then, the PL property was investigated and compared with the PL of the complex. The tin(IV) oxide core showed a band gap of ~3.81?eV determined from the UV/visible absorption spectrum. The tin oxide core showed stable PL with one emission peak centered at 581?nm.  相似文献

Proton NMR data for the Group III methyl derivatives, MMe3 and LiMMe4 are compared with NMR data for the novel tin—Group III-metal bonded species, Li[Me3SnMMe3] (M  Al, Ga, In and Tl) and for Li[(Me3Sn)n-TlMe4?n] (n = 0 to 4), reported here for the first time. The presence of tinmetal bonding in these derivatives is established by the observed tin-across-metal coupling constants and for the thallium derivatives by the additional observation of thallium-across-tin coupling. The variation in the magnitudes of 2J(SnCH), 2J(TlCH), 3J(SnMCH) and 3J(TlSnCH) are reported as a function of M and as a function of the number of Me3Sn groups bond to thallium in the [(Me3Sn)nTIME4?n]?anions. Proposals concerning the factors governing the changes in these coupling constants and the chemical shifts are presented.  相似文献

Two novel triorganotin carboxylate complexes of the biologically active urocanic acid have been synthesized and characterized. Elemental analysis, melting point, spectroscopic techniques – IR, 1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR – mass spectrometry and X‐ray diffraction studies have been used for structural characterization. Crystal structures of the tin(IV) derivatives show that urocanic acid acts as a bridging bidentate ligand through its imidazole nitrogen atom and its carboxylic group, producing a polymeric one‐dimensional chain. The molecular structures of the complexes, catena‐poly‐tri(n‐butyl)tin(IV) 3‐(3H‐imidazol‐4‐yl)prop‐2‐enoate (1) and catena‐poly‐triphenyltin(IV) 3‐(3H‐imidazol‐4‐yl)prop‐2‐enoate (2), present a distorted trigonal–bipyramidal configuration. This is further confirmed by 119Sn NMR in the solid state. The tin(IV) derivatives form double‐stranded ribbons via N―HO―H bonds. Nevertheless, the compounds are essentially monomeric in solution, with a tetrahedral configuration as observed by 119Sn NMR in solution. The cytotoxic activity of the titled compounds has been tested against six human cell lines and the corresponding IC50 values are reported. Both tin(IV) compounds have a high to very high in vitro cytotoxic activity against the tumor cell lines K562, HCT‐15 and MCF‐7. Compound 1 is 86 times more active than cisplatin in the HTC‐15 cell line. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Solution polymerization of ε-caprolactone (ε-CL) was performed using four different initiators namely: tin(II) octanoate (Sn(Oct)2)/ethanolamine, aluminium Schiff's base complex-HAPENAlOiPr, lithium diisopropyl amide (LDA) and aluminium isopropoxide. The reaction conditions varied with the initiator used. LDA gave rise to the most rapid polymerization with the highest amount of cyclic species as detected by 13C NMR. However, no cyclic species were detected when HAPENAlOiPr was used as initiator. The tin(II) octanoate/ethanolamine system lead to an α,ω-dihydroxy-polycaprolactone (PCL). The copolymerization of ε-CL was then performed with the hard to oligomerize γ-butyrolactone using the four initiators. GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography) analyses showed the formation of copolymers. The highest incorporation of polybutyrolactone (PBL) in the copolymer was obtained using HAPENAlOiPr as evidenced by 1H NMR. 13C NMR indicated the presence of pseudoperiodic random copolymers with short blocks of PCL whose block length varied with initiator used. The longest and shortest block length were obtained using Sn(Oct)2 and HAPENAlOiPr respectively as calculated from 13C NMR. The reactivity ratios were determined using the Finemann-Ross method at low conversion with HAPENAlOiPr as initiator. The values obtained, rCL = 19.4 and rBL = 0.11, confirmed the presence of long blocks of CL units in the copolymer.  相似文献

In this work we report the synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of twenty new pentacoordinated diorganotin(IV) compounds. These compounds have been prepared in good yields by multicomponent reactions (MCRs) of α-amino acids (isoleucine, leucine, methionine, phenylalanine and aminophenylacetic acid), 2,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde and either di-n-butyltin(IV) oxide or diphenyltin(IV) oxide. All compounds were characterized by IR spectroscopy, 1H, 119Sn and 13C NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Each compound has a coordinative N→Sn bond and shows the expected 119Sn NMR chemical shift indicative of a pentacoordinated or hexacoordinated tin atom in CDCl3 and DMSO-d6, respectively. These compounds were also tested in tumoral cell lines, HeLa, HCT-15 and MCF-7, in order to evaluate the antiproliferative activity and to obtain the medial inhibitory concentrations (IC50) values.  相似文献

Several new complexes of organotin(IV) moieties with MCln[meso-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphine], (R2Sn)2MCln[meso-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)-porphinate]s and (R3Sn)4MCln [meso-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphinate]s, [M = Fe(III), Mn(III): n = 1, R = Me, n-Bu; Ph; M = Sn(IV): n = 2, R = Me, n-Bu] have been synthesized and their solid state configuration investigated by infrared (IR) and Mössbauer spectroscopy, and by 1H and 13C NMR in D2O.The electron density on the metal ion coordinated inside the porphyrin ring is not influenced by the organotin(IV) moieties bonded to the oxygen atoms of the side chain sulfonatophenyl groups, as it has been inferred on the basis of Mössbauer spectroscopy and, in particular, from the invariance of the isomer shift of the Fe(III) and Sn(IV) atoms coordinated into the porphyrin square plane of the newly synthesized complexes, with respect to the same atoms in the free ligand. As far as the coordination polyhedra around the peripheral tin atoms are concerned, infrared spectra and experimental Mössbauer data would suggest octahedral and trigonal bipyramidal environments around tin, in polymeric configurations obtained, respectively, in the diorganotin derivatives through chelating or bridging sulfonate groups coordinating in the square plane, and in triorganotin(IV) complexes through bridging sulfonate oxygen atoms in axial positions. The structures of the (Me3Sn)4Sn(IV)Cl2[meso-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphinate] and of the two model systems, Me3Sn(PS)(HPS) and Me2Sn(PS)2 [HPS = phenylsulfonic acid], have been studied by a two layer ONIOM method, using the hybrid DFT B3LYP functional for the higher layer, including the significant tin environment. This approach allowed us to support the structural hypotheses inferred by the IR and Mössbauer spectroscopy analysis and to obtain detailed geometrical information of the tin environment in the compounds investigated.1H and 13C NMR data suggested retention of the geometry around the tin(IV) atom in D2O solution.  相似文献

Three new diorganotin(IV) complexes, [Me2Sn(BDET] (2), [Bu2Sn(BDET)] (3), and [Ph2Sn(BDET)] (4), were synthesized by reacting R2SnCl2 (R = Me, Bu, and Ph) with 5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde-N(4)-ethylthiosemicarbazone [H2BDET, (1)] in the presence of KOH in absolute methanol. The newly synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV–vis, FT-IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopies. The molecular structure of 4 was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. X-ray crystallography revealed that the doubly deprotonated O,N,S-tridentate thiosemicarbazone coordinates to tin(IV), resulting in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. Their 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectra support a five-coordinate tin(IV) in solution for all complexes, in accord with the solid-state X-ray structure determined for 4. Compounds 14 were evaluated for their antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella typhi. The results exhibited that 24 were active with comparable potency compared to the standard drug. Antibacterial studies also indicated that the complexes have potential for biological evaluation.  相似文献

A drum-shaped organooxotin (IV) complex with 2,3,4,5-tetrafluorobenzoic acid of the type {[SnR2(2,3,4,5-F4C6HCO2)]O}6 (R?=?m-Cl-PhCH2) has been solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental, IR, 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR spectra and X-ray crystallography diffraction analysis. This complex exhibits a new structural environment appearing as a “drum” arrangement with hexa-coordinated tin atoms in a four-membered stannoxane ring, (–Sn–O–)2, as a common structural feature. Each tin(IV) displays a distorted octahedral geometry. Weak, but significant, intramolecular C–H?···?F hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions are shown. These contacts lead to aggregation and supramolecular self-assembly. Cleavage of Sn–C bond occurred in complexes under the influence of strong acid.  相似文献

Reaction of tin dichloride and tin tetrachloride with cyclohexylamine-N-thiohydrazide (ChaThz) [L1] and 1,3-propanediamine-N-thiohydrazide (PdaThz) [L2] results in [Sn(ChaThz)2] (1), Sn(ChaThz)2Cl2] (2), [Sn(PdaThz)2] (3), and [Sn(PdaThz)2Cl2] (4), in which the thiohydrazide coordinates to tin through imine nitrogen and thioamide sulfur. The ratio metal?:?ligand was 1?:?2 for all complexes. The tin(IV) thiohydrazide complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis, 1H-NMR, 119Sn NMR, and mass spectral studies. Using the disc diffusion method, the ligands and metal complexes were screened for in vitro antibacterial activities against four pathogenic bacteria, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, P. aeruginosa, and Bacillus cereus and for antifungal activities against Aspergillus flavus, A. carbonarius, A. niger, and A. fumigatus. While the tin(IV) complexes exhibited moderate antifungal activities, their parent ligands showed much higher and long-lasting broad spectrum of bioactivity against fungal growth. This was particularly the case for L1 whose fungal inhibitory activity by the end of the experimental period was comparable and, for the most part, more pronounced than that of AmB. This higher activity of L1 was maintained specifically against S. Aureus but in general, bacteria were more susceptible to complexes than ligands.  相似文献

Two diorganotin(IV) complexes of the general formula R2Sn[Ph(O)CCH-C(Me)N-NC(O)Ph] (R=Ph, 1; R=Me, 2) have been synthesised from the corresponding diorganotin(IV) dichloride and the ligand 4-phenyl-2,4-butanedionebenzoylhydrazone(2−) (H2L), derived from benzoyl acetone and benzoyl hydrazide in methanol at room temperature in presence of triethylamine. The syntheses were performed under very mild conditions, at room temperature and without exclusion of air or moisture from the reaction vessel. Previously, rigorous conditions have been considered necessary for these species. The two compounds have been characterised by elemental analysis, IR and 1H, 13C, 15N, 119Sn NMR spectra, and their structures have been confirmed single crystal X-ray structure analysis. The central tin atom of both complexes adopts a distorted trigonal bipyramidal coordination with two ligand oxygen atoms in axial positions, the nitrogen atom of the ligand and two organic groups on tin occupying equatorial sites. 2 has crystallised with two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The δ(119Sn) values for the complexes 1 and 2 are −151.5 and −146.8 ppm, respectively, thus indicating penta-coordinated tin centres.  相似文献

The title complex has been synthesized by the reaction of diphenyltin(IV) or triphenyltin(IV) chloride with 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoyl salicylahydrazone and characterized by 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR, and IR spectral studies. An X-ray analysis shows that the ligand is tridentate and approximately planar and the central tin atom is in a distorted five-coordinate trigonal bipyramidal geometry. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 29.194(4), b = 10.117(1), c = 22.524(3) Å, β = 124.44(2)°, V = 5486.5(8) Å3, Z = 8. The Sn C bond lengths are 2.123(9) and 2.116(7) Å, and the bond length between the tin atom and the coordinating nitrogen atom (Sn–N bond) is 2.152(6) Å. The C Sn C bond angle and the bond angle between the tin atom and the two axially positioned oxygen atoms are 129.1(1) and 156.17(9)°, respectively. The structure was refined to final R = 0.056 and Rw = 0.074 for 4145 observed reflections with I > 3σ(I). © John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献
