The p-6He inelastic scattering at 700 MeV u-1 is studied using Multiple Scattering expansion of the total Transition amplitude (MST) framework with a pseudo-state representation of 6He continuum. We show that the differential cross sections calculated with two different pseudo-state bases are in good agreement.  相似文献

We have studied an effect of neutron and triton transfer reactions on the p +^6He elasticscatteringat25 MeVbymeansofcoupled - reaction - channelcalculations.Itisfoundthatwhenthetransferreactionsareexplicitlyincludedinthecalculationstheimaginarypartoftheinput$p + $6He optical model potential has to be reduced by 52 percent while its real part enhanced by 15 percent in order to fit the elastic-scattering data. The effect of transfer channels on the real part of this potential is somewhat weaker than that of 6He breakup reported previously. However, for the imaginary part, the effect of transfer channels is dominant. It is concluded that while the breakup contribution to proton elastic scattering mainly affects the real part of the bare potential, the contribution of transfer channels affects mainly its imaginary part.  相似文献

It is found that the scattering of the fragile nucleus 6Li from 12C and 16O is unexpectedly transparent. It is shown that the internal-wave contribution is significantly large in the scattering, which suggests that some transparency could persist in the scattering involving the fragile nucleus 6He.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to find out the origin of the anomalous resonance in 8Be seen in the reactions through excited states in 9Be. We have populated the 9Be excited states by β-decay of 9Li. Energy and direction of the two α particles has been detected and the neutron spectra reconstructed. In our work we identified the “anomalous resonance" in 8Be observed in several reaction studies as coming from the decay of the 2.43 and 2.78 MeV states in 9Be. This anomalous resonance appears when the two detected α particles are assumed to form a resonance in 8Be. We argued that the main decaying channels for these two levels in 9Be do not involve 8Be.  相似文献

Elastic scattering and inclusive breakup of 6Li particles on 12C, 58Ni, 90Zr, and 208Pb targets are measured at 100A MeV. The elastic scattering data are compared with single channel and Coupled Discretized Continuum Channels calculations. The coupling-effect between the elastic and the breakup channels is important even at an incident energy of 100A MeV and cannot be neglected. The inclusive breakup data are investigated for orbital dispersion effects which are found to be less significant at 100A MeV. The longitudinal momentum distributions are broader than predicted by theoretical expectations. Received: 17 December 1999 / Revised version: 9 February 2000  相似文献

The hyperspherical adiabatic expansion is combined with complex scaling and used to calculate low-lying nuclear resonances of 12C in the 3α model. We use Ali-Bodmer potentials and compare results for other potentials α-α with similar 8Be properties. A three-body potential is used to adjust the 12C resonance positions to desired values extending the applicability of the method to many-body systems decaying into three α-particles. For natural choices of three-body potentials we find 14 resonances below the proton separation threshold, i.e. two 0+, three 2+, two 4+, one of each of 1±, 2-, 3±, 4-, and 6+. The partial-wave decomposition of each resonance is calculated as a function of the hyperradius. Strong variation is found from small to large distance. The connection to previous experimental and theoretical results is discussed and agreements as well as disagreements are emphasized.  相似文献

We have studied 12C in full kinematics via the 10B(3He,pααα) reaction at an energy of 2.45 MeV. In our data we have identified states in 12C from the ground state up to about 18 MeV, with spins ranging from 0 to 4. Due to the very good resolution, we are able to determine properties of these 12C resonances, such as their energy, width, and spin. In this contribution preliminary results from the ongoing analysis are presented. Main focus on the precise determination of the breakup spectra for all resonances.  相似文献

We present the recent experimental results on the 6He structure studied by the 6Li(t, 3He)6He reaction at 336 MeV. Above the conspicuous peaks for ground and first excited states for 6He, we have observed a broad structures at E x∼ 5 MeV, and E x∼ 15 MeV. The angular distribution of this structure exhibits the dominance of a ΔL = 1 transition, indicating the existence of intruder dipole states at low excitation energies in 6He. A slight admixture of positive-parity states in this structure has been indicated as well. Received: 1 May 2001 / Accepted: 4 December 2001  相似文献

A study of deep-inelastic and multi-nucleon transfer reactions to populate neutron-rich O, Ne and F nuclei is here presented. The reaction under analysis employed a beam of radioactive 24Ne at 7.9 AMeV, provided by the SPIRAL facility at Ganil, impingin on a 208Pb target. The reaction products have been detected in the VAMOS spectrometer in coincidence with gamma rays measured by the EXOGAM array. Preliminary results here presented show a selectivity in the population of states of different nature.  相似文献

Using the framework of the coupled reaction channels (CRC) the elastic scattering and the elastic transfer in the system 6He + 4He measured at E = 151 MeV have been analysed. It is shown that the structure observed in the backward range of the angular distributions is influenced by the interference of the elastic 2n-transfer with a two-step process passing through the 2+ excitation in 6He. The two-neutron transfer mechanism is studied in the microscopic approach and it is found that for the ground-state transition the one step dominates by a factor 10 over the two-step mechanism at this energy. Halo nuclei are characterised by their weak binding, large spatial extent and hence a quite pronounced, yet highly correlated, few-body structure. This is typically in terms of a well-defined core plus one or more valence nucleons. Over the past decade the properties of halo nuclei have been studied theoretically using a range of reaction models, many of which having served us well for half a century or more in the study of less exotic, “mean-field”, nuclei. However, it is now clear that for many reactions with halo nuclei, it is not appropriate to disentangle (factorise out) the structure information from the reaction information. That is, the few-body nature of these systems requires few-body reaction models in which the nuclear structure and reaction mechanisms are necessarily entangled. This talk will briefly review the physical assumptions made by various reaction models, and point to areas where progress is being made to extend their range of applicability in order to provide further insights into halo structure. The fusion of 6He with a 209Bi target displays a large enhancement at energies near to and below the Coulomb barrier. Recently, a 4He group of remarkable intensity, which dominates the total reaction cross-section, has also been observed in the near-barrier interaction of the same system. It is argued that this transfer/breakup channel acts as a doorway state to fusion. Received: 1 May 2001 / Accepted: 4 December 2001  相似文献

Different momentum space Faddeev-like equations and their solutions for the radiative pd-capture and the three-nucleon photodisintegration of 3He are presented. Applications are based on the AV18 nucleon-nucleon and the Urbana IX three-nucleon forces. Meson exchange currents are included using the Siegert theorem. A very good agreement has been found in all cases indicating the reliability of the used numerical methods. Predictions for cross-sections and polarization observables in the pd-capture and the complete three-nucleon breakup of 3He at different incoming-deuteron/photon energies are presented.  相似文献

Experimental search for superheavy hydrogen isotopes 6H and 7H was performed in the stopped pion absorption on 9Be and 11B nuclei. The structures in the missing-mass spectra were observed in the reaction channels 9Be(π-, pd )X and 11B(π-, p4He)X . Four states of 6H were proposed. Evidences for 7H formation were obtained in the reaction channels 9Be(π-, pp)X and 11B(π-, p3He)X .  相似文献

The configuration-dependent cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky approach has been employed to study the properties and band structures at high spin in the Z = N odd-odd nuclei 46V and 50Mn. The observed bands are explained and terminating states are confirmed by the calculations. The calculated and observed bands are in good agreement without normalization, especially for terminating states. Possible bands with rotation around the intermediate axis and the effect of γ-deformation on the total energy of several interesting configurations are discussed. The structure of 17C has been investigated using the three-neutron transfer reaction (12C,9C) on a 14C target at 231MeV incident energy, the reaction Q-value is Q 0 = - 46.930MeV. Eleven new states up to 16.3MeV excitation energy were identified. The same reaction has also been used on a 12C target ( Q 0 = - 38.787MeV), and excited states in 15C up to 19MeV were observed. In 17C the three transferred neutrons populate (sd )3 configurations on the 14C core. The comparison of levels populated by the (12C,9C) reaction in 17C, 16C and 15C reveals a strong similarity of their properties. This concerns especially nine states in each of the three carbon isotopes, which show practically the same excitation energies except a constant mean shift of +5.82MeV for 16C and +6.65MeV for 15C with respect to 17C. The triples of states from the three isotopes, which correspond to each other, have also similar widths and cross-section ratios. It is concluded that the same (sd )3 structures are populated in the three carbon isotopes. The observed levels of 17C are also compared to the levels of 19O with known assignments and to shell model calculations, and their decay properties are discussed.  相似文献

Careful review of all the evidence makes it clear that at least three states are important at 12.4-MeV excitation in 20Ne (four, if the broad (2+) at 12.5 MeV is included). The three states are 3 - , 0 + , and 1 + (0+). The latter, which is quite strong in 19F (3He, d) singles, is probably the state observed in coincidence with 6.13-MeV γ-rays in 19F(3He, dγ). The 10,11Be(p, p) and (12C, 12C) reactions were analyzed to determine the influence of the weak binding energies of exotic nuclei on their interaction potential. The elastic cross sections were measured at GANIL in inverse kinematics using radioactive 10,11Be beams produced at energies of 39.1A   and 38.4A MeV38.4A MeV. The elastic proton scattering data were analyzed within the framework of the microscopic Jeukenne–Lejeune–Mahaux (JLM) nucleon–nucleus potential. The angular distributions are found to be best reproduced by reducing the real part of the microscopic optical potential, as a consequence of the coupling to the continuum. These effects modify deeply the elastic potential. Including the Virtual Coupling Potential (VCP), we show the ability of the general optical potentials to reproduce the data for scattering of unstable nuclei, using realistic densities. Finally, the concepts needed to develop a more general and microscopic approach of the VCP are discussed.  相似文献
