1-(2-Quinoxalyl)-, 1-[3,5-Di(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-, 1-(2-Carboxyphenyl)-, and 1-Ethoxycarbonyl-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazoles

The corresponding 1-(2-quinoxalyl)-, 1-[3,5-di(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-, and 1-ethoxycarbonyl-3-methyl-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazoles have been obtained from reactions of 2-acetyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione, its 5,5-dimethyl and 5-(2-furyl) derivatives, with 2-hydrazinoquinoxaline, 3,5-di(trifluoromethyl)phenylhydrazine, and ethoxycarbonylhydrazine. On interaction with ethoxycarbonylhydrazine the intermediate 2-[1-(-ethoxycarbonyl)hydrazino]ethylidene-1,3-cyclohexanediones were also isolated. From the potassium salt of 2-formyldimedone and 2-carboxyphenylhydrazine hydrochloride, 2-(2-carboxyphenyl)hydrazinomethylene-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione was obtained, the cyclization of which in ethanol in the presence of HCl led to 1-(2-carboxyphenyl)- and 1-(2-ethoxycarbonylphenyl)-6,6-dimethyl-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazole.

报道了显色剂1-(4-硝基苯基)-3-(2-吡嗪)-三氮烯化合物的合成及其与镉(Ⅱ)的显色反应。在非离子表面活性剂Triton X-100存在下,pH 10.5的Na2B4O7-NaOH的缓冲介质中,该试剂能与镉(Ⅱ)与发生显色反应,形成摩尔比为4∶1的黄棕色配合物,配合物在波长453 nm处有最大吸收峰,表观摩尔吸光系数ε为6.90×104L.mol-1.cm-1,镉(Ⅱ)质量浓度在0~0.56μg/mL范围内遵守比尔定律。用拟定方法测不同废水中的镉(Ⅱ)。     

Efficient,Stereoselective Approach to the Synthesis of 3-(1-Phenyl-2-(Z-styrylsulfonyl)-1H-imidazol-4-yl)-2H-chromen-2-ones

Reaction of phenyl acetylene with 3-(1-aryl-2-mercapto-4-imidazolyl)-2H-1-benzopyran-2-ones (4) in the presence of sodium hydroxide in absolute ethanol led to the formation of 3-(1-phenyl-2-(Z-styrylthio)-1H-imidazol-4-yl)-2H-chromen-2-ones (6) in excellent yields. These, on further oxidation with H₂O₂/AcOH, gave the corresponding sulfones (7) with retention of stereochemistry.

Reaction of 2-(2-Azahetaryl)-4-chloro-3-oxobutyronitriles with Substituted Benzaldehyde Hydrazones. Unexpected Formation of 4-Arylideneamino-2-(1-R-benzimidazol-2-yl)-3-oxobutyronitriles

The reaction of 2-(2-azahetaryl)-3-oxo-4-chlorobutyronitriles with substituted benzaldehyde hydrazones gives 4-arylideneamino-2-(1-R-benzimidazol-2-yl)-3-oxobutyronitriles, the structures of which were proved using spectroscopic data, the results of elemental analysis, and through their chemical reactions. It was found that the reaction course depends on the basicity of the heterocyclic fragment in the starting nitrile. A likely mechanism for the process is proposed.     

DIASTEREOSELECTIVE SYNTHESIS AND STEREOCHEMISTRY OF (Z)-1-[3-ARYL-2-(PHENYLSULFANYL)-2-OXIRANYL]-1-ETHANONES

Diastereoselective synthesis of a series of (Z)-1-[3-aryl-2-(phenylsulfanyl)-2-oxiranyl]-1-ethanones was effected from the reaction of (Z)-4-aryl-3-(phenylsulfanyl)-3-buten-2-ones with alkaline hydrogen peroxide in tetrahydrofuran. The stereochemistry of the oxiranes has been deduced from two-dimensional NOESY spectrum.     

Reaction of 2-(2-oxoethylidene)furan-3(2H)-ones with isopropylidenehydrazides of aromatic carboxylic acids: Synthesis of 3-hydroxy-3-(2-oxoethyl)-2,3-dihydropyridazin-4(1H)-ones

3-Hydroxy-3-(2-oxoethyl)-6-phenyl-2,3-dihydropyridazin-4(1H)-ones were obtained by the reaction of methyl 3-oxo-5-phenylfuran-2(3H)-ylideneacetate or 2-[2-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-oxoethylidene]-5-phenylfuran-3(2H)-one with benzoic or p-nitrobenzoic isopropylidenehydrazides. 1-(4-取代苯基)-4-苯基-5-(2-羟基苄基)氨基-1,2,3-三唑类衍生物的合成及抑菌活性

将邻羟苯基引入1,2,3-三唑结构中, 设计合成了10个1-(4-取代苯基)-4-苯基-5-取代-1,2,3-三唑类衍生物. 首先, 以对位取代的芳胺为原料, 经重氮化、叠氮化、闭环和缩合反应制得1-(4-取代苯基)-4-苯基-5-水杨醛亚胺-1,2,3-三唑类衍生物(3a~3e), 再用硼氢化钠还原制得1-(4-取代苯基)-4-苯基-5-(2-羟基苄基)氨基-1,2,3-三唑类衍生物(4a~4e). 目标化合物的结构经核磁、IR及元素分析确认. 抑菌活性测试表明, 当质量浓度为0.1 mg/L时, 除化合物3e和4e外, 所有化合物对白色念球菌的抑菌率均达95%以上, 对大肠杆菌的抑菌率达85%以上, 具有强抑菌活性, 表明该类化合物在抗菌药物开发方面有重要应用价值.     

Synthesis of 1-(alkylamino)- and 1-(dialkylamino)benzimidazoline-2-thiones

Unlike 1-aminobenzimidazoles, 1-alkylaminobenzimidazoles are thiolated on fusing with sulfur without elimination of theN-amino group, yielding the previously unknown 1-(alkylamino)benzimidazoline-2-thiones. These compounds can be more conveniently obtained on a preparative scale by thiolation of 1-alkylacetamidobenzimidazoles with subsequent hydrolytic elimination of the acetyl group. When 1-(dialkylamino)benzimidazoles are fused with sulfur, they are converted into 1-(dialkylamino)benzimidazoline-2-thiones. By alkylation of 1-(methylamino)- and 1-(diethylamino)benzimidazoline-2-thiones with methyl iodide in alkaline media the corresponding 2-(methylthio)benzimidazoles were prepared.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Condensation reactions at the methylene group of 1-(4-nitrophenyl)-pyrrolin-2-one and 1-(4-nitrophenyl)-pyrrolin-2-onium perchlorate

The interaction has been investigated of 1-(4-nitrophenyl)pyrrolin-2-one with aromatic aldehydes in acetic anhydride in the presence of catalytic amounts of pyridine. 1-(4-Nitrophenyl)pyrrolinium perchlorate has been synthesized and was put into a condensation reaction with aromatic aldehydes. On the structural and spectroscopic properties of the thienyl chalcone derivative: 3-(5-Bromo-2-thienyl)-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-prop-2-en-1-one

In this study, we investigate the structural and spectroscopic properties of the thienyl chalcone derivative 3-(5-Bromo-2-thienyl)-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-prop-2-en-1-one, C₁₃H₈BrNO₃S, using nuclear magnetic resonance (¹H and ¹³C NMR), UV–vis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Raman spectroscopy at room conditions combined with density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT (TD-DFT) augmented with B3LYP/6-311G(d,p) and CAM-B3LYP/6-311G(d,p) basis sets, yielding valuable information on the molecular conformational preferences, vibrational assignments, optical properties and electronic transitions. The vibrational mode assignments of the most stable conformer of C₁₃H₈BrNO₃S are discussed based on potential energy distribution (PED) analysis and establishing a comparison with a similar chemical structure. The temperature dependence on the Raman spectra of the C₁₃H₈BrNO₃S shows a reversible phase transition in the range 443–443 K pointed out by the discontinuity in the dω/dT of bands in the external and internal modes region. The UV–vis spectrum of the C₁₃H₈BrNO₃S indicates a semiconductor behavior with an optical band gap of 2.6 eV, corresponding to the predicted value of 3.42 eV assigned as the electronic transition from the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) to the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO). TD-DFT calculations reveal that the electron donor and acceptor group substitution on the 1-phenyl-3-(thiophen-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-one affects its absorption and nonlinear activity.

A study of the Claisen rearrangement of 7-(3-phenyl-2-propenyloxy)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one derivatives

Summary The Claisen rearrangement of 7-(3-phenyl-2-propenyloxy)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (2 a) gave 7-hydroxy-8-(1-phenyl-2-propenyl)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (3 a) and 2,3-dihydro-2,6-diphenyl-3-methyl-(7H)furo[2,3-h]-1-benzopyran-7-one (7 a). 2-Methyl-7-(3-phenyl-2-propenyloxy)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (2 b) afforded4 b and7 b. 8-Methyl-7-(3-phenyl-2-propenyloxy)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (12) gave only the alkali soluble product 7-hydroxy-8-methyl-6-(1-phenyl-2-propenyl)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (13).3 a,4 b, and13 were further cyclized in acidic medium to9 a,10 b, and14 followed by dehydrogenation.This paper is dedicated to Dr. F. Reactions of 3-(4-Aryl-2-thiazolyl)- and 3-(2-Benzothiazolyl)-2-iminocoumarins with N-Nucleophiles

The reaction of 3-(4-aryl-2-thiazolyl)- and 3-(2-benzothiazolyl)-2-iminocoumarins with N-nucleophiles was studied. This reaction gives 2-N-substituted 3-(4-aryl-2-thiazolyl)- and 3-(2-benzothiazolyl)iminocourmarins. N-Nucleophiles such as arylamines, heterocyclic amines, and hydrazine derivatives undergo this reaction.     

2-Polyfluoroalkylchromones. 14. Synthesis of 4-chloro-3(5)-(2-hydroxyaryl)-5(3)-polyfluoroalkylpyrazoles

3-Chloro-2-polyfluoroalkyl- and 3-chloro-6-nitro-2-polyfluoroalkylchromones were synthesized. These compounds react with N₂H₄·2HCl on boiling in ethanol to form 4-chloro-3(5)-(2-hydroxyaryl)-5(3)-polyfluoroalkylpyrazoles.     

Amberlite XAD-7 resin impregnated with 2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazol-2yl)-4-nitrophenol for enrichment of metal ions

The Amberlite XAD-7 resin modification was carried out by loading 2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazol-2yl)-4-nitrophenol (CPDPINP). Subsequently, this new sorbent was applied for the enrichment of metal ions such as Cu²⁺, Ni²⁺, Co²⁺ Zn²⁺ and Pb²⁺ ions. The effect of various parameters on their sorption and following recoveries was studied in column procedure. The preconcentrated ions were eluted by appropriate eluent and their contents were quantified by FAAS. This method has preconcentration factor of 150 and enrichment factor in the range of 20.8–29.1. At optimum values of all variables, the proposed method has linear calibration graphs in the range of 0.01 up to 0.29 μg mL⁻¹ with detection limit (3SDb/m, n = 15) between 1.6 and 2.6 ng mL⁻¹. This protocol is usable for successful analysis of Cu²⁺, Ni²⁺, Co²⁺ Zn²⁺ and Pb²⁺ ions in different matrices with reasonable recoveries (>93%) and acceptable relative standard deviation (<4.7%).     

One-pot synthesis of 2-（1-acyloxypentyl） benzoic acids

A one-pot synthesis of 2-（1-acyloxypcntyl） benzoic acids by trapping the carboxylatc/alkoxide dianion with acylating reagents following Grignard addition with n-BuMgBr to 2-formylbcnzoic acid was described. Compared with routine synthetic method, this novel procedure has the advantage of convenient operation and higher yields.
