Let (E,E) be a dual pair of vector spaces. The paper studies general conditions which allow to lift analyticity (or K-analyticity) from the weak topology σ(E,E) to stronger ones in the frame of (E,E). First we show that the Mackey dual of a space Cp(X) is analytic iff the space X is countable. This yields that for uncountable analytic spaces X the Mackey dual of Cp(X) is weakly analytic but not analytic. We show that the Mackey dual E of an (LF)-space of a sequence of reflexive separable Fréchet spaces with the Heinrich density condition is analytic, i.e. E is a continuous image of the Polish space NN. This extends a result of Valdivia. We show also that weakly quasi-Suslin locally convex Baire spaces are metrizable and complete (this extends a result of De Wilde and Sunyach). We provide however a large class of weakly analytic but not analytic metrizable separable Baire topological vector spaces (not locally convex!). This will be used to prove that analyticity is not a three-space property but we show that a metrizable topological vector space E is analytic if E contains a complete locally convex analytic subspace F such that the quotient E/F is analytic. The scaled factorial moments in QGP phase transitions are studied analytically by the extended Ginzburg-Landau model. The dependence of lnF q on phase space interval is different for the first- and second-order QGP phase transitions. When lnF q, are fitted to polynomials ofX≡δ1/3, the relative sign between the fitted coefficients ofX andb q,1 calculated theoretically can be used to judge the order of phase transitions. Two sets of experimental data are reanalysed and the phase transitions are the first order for one set of data but the second order for another.  相似文献

Let 2 X denote the closed subsets of a Hausdorff topological space <X, {gt}>. The Fell topology τF on 2 X has as a subbase all sets of the form {A ∈ 2 X :AV ≠ 0}, whereV is an open subset ofX, plus all sets of the form {A ∈ 2 X :A ?W}, whereW has compact complement. The purpose of this article is two-fold. First, we characterize first and second countability for τF in terms of topological properties for τ. Second, we show that convergence of nets of closed sets with respect to the Fell topology parallels Attouch-Wets convergence for nets of closed subsets in a metric space. This approach to set convergence is highly tractable and is well-suited for applications. In particular, we characterize Fell convergence of nets of lower semicontinuous functions as identified with their epigraphs in terms of the convergence of sublevel sets.  相似文献

We introduce here the notion of superstable Banach space, as the superproperty associated with the stability property of J. L. Krivine and B. Maurey. IfE is superstable, so are theL p (E) for eachp∈[1, +∞[. If the Banach spaceX uniformly imbeds into a superstable Banach space, then there exists an equivalent invariant superstable distance onX; as a consequenceX contains subspaces isomorphic tol p spaces (for somep∈[1, ∞[). In this paper, we deal with the following generalized quasivariational inequality problem: given a real normed space E with topological dual E* and two multifunctions G: X→2 X and F: X→2 E*, find $\left( {\hat x,\hat \phi } \right)$ X × E* such that $\hat x \in G\left( {\hat x} \right),{\text{ }}\hat \phi \in F\left( {\hat x} \right),{\text{ }}\left\langle {\hat \phi ,\hat x - y} \right\rangle \leqslant 0,{\text{for all }}y \in G\left( {\hat x} \right).$ We extend to such infinite-dimensional setting some existence results which have been obtained recently for the special case where E is finite dimensional. The following result is proved. Given a complex Banach space X and a bounded continuous function f:FX, there exists an extension f? of f, bounded and continuous on \?gD ? E, analytic on Δ and satisfying sup{6f?(z)6:zεδ?E. Given a space M, a family of sets A of a space X is ordered by M if A={AK:K is a compact subset of M} and KL implies AKAL. We study the class M of spaces which have compact covers ordered by a second countable space. We prove that a space Cp(X) belongs to M if and only if it is a Lindelöf Σ-space. Under MA(ω1), if X is compact and (X×X)\Δ has a compact cover ordered by a Polish space then X is metrizable; here Δ={(x,x):xX} is the diagonal of the space X. Besides, if X is a compact space of countable tightness and X2\Δ belongs to M then X is metrizable in ZFC.We also consider the class M? of spaces X which have a compact cover F ordered by a second countable space with the additional property that, for every compact set PX there exists FF with PF. It is a ZFC result that if X is a compact space and (X×X)\Δ belongs to M? then X is metrizable. We also establish that, under CH, if X is compact and Cp(X) belongs to M? then X is countable.  相似文献

An n-frame on a Banach space X is E=(E1,?, En) where the Ej's are bounded linear operators on X such that Ej≠0,

, and EjEkjkEk (j, k=1,?, n). It is known that if two n-frames E and F are sufficiently close to each other, then they are similar, that is, Fj=TEjT-1 with T a bounded linear operator. Among the operators which realize the similarity of the two frames, there is the balanced transformation U(F, E)=(Σnj=1FjEj)(Σnj=1EjFjEj)-12. One of our main results is a local characterization of the balanced transformation. Another operator which implements the similarity between E and F is the direct rotation R(F, E). It comes up in connection with the study of the set of all n-frames as a Banach manifold with an affine connection. Finally, it is shown that for quite a large set of pairs of 2-frames, the direct rotation has a global characterization.  相似文献

We study the relation between different spaces of vector-valued polynomials and analytic functions over dual-isomorphic Banach spaces. Under conditions of regularity onE andF, we show that the spaces ofX-valuedn-homogeneous polynomials and analytic functions of bounded type onE andF are isomorphic wheneverX is a dual space. Also, we prove that many of the usual subspaces of polynomials and analytic functions onE andF are isomorphic without conditions on the involved spaces.  相似文献

We study the extendibility of integral vector-valued polynomials on Banach spaces. We prove that an X-valued Pietsch-integral polynomial on E extends to an X-valued Pietsch-integral polynomial on any space F containing E, with the same integral norm. This is not the case for Grothendieck-integral polynomials: they do not always extend to X-valued Grothendieck-integral polynomials. However, they are extendible to X-valued polynomials. The Aron-Berner extension of an integral polynomial is also studied. A canonical integral representation is given for domains not containing ?1.  相似文献

The proposed definition of convergence parameter R(W) corresponding to a Markov chain X with a measurable state space (E,?) and any nonempty setW of bounded below measurable functions f: E → ? is wider than the well-known definition of convergence parameter R in the sense of Tweedie or Nummelin. Very often, R(W) < ∞, and there exists a set playing the role of the absorbing set inNummelin’s definition ofR. Special attention is paid to the case in whichE is locally compact, X is a Feller chain on E, and W coincides with the family ? 0 + of all compactly supported continuous functions f ≥ 0 (f ? 0). In particular, certain conditions for R(? 0 + )?1 to coincide with the norm of an appropriate modification of the chain transition operator are found.  相似文献
