The fundamental difference in the eigenmode spectrum for traditional one-dimensional (1D) periodical Bragg structures and novel two-dimensional (2D) periodical Bragg structures of planar and coaxial geometry is discussed. In the case of 1D Bragg structures, the eigenmode frequencies are located outside the Bragg reflection zone while for 2D Bragg structures the highest Q-factor modes are located just near to the frequency of Bragg resonance and the mechanism for the formation of these modes is related to the coupling of the longitudinal and transverse propagating wave fluxes. The main eigenmode possesses a Q-factor which substantially exceeds the Q-factor of the other modes even in the case when the system transverse size is much greater than the wavelength that encourage the use of 2D Bragg structures for mode selection in powerful oscillators with oversized microwave systems.  相似文献

反射谱具有三角形形状的光纤光栅在光纤传感等领域中具有重要的应用前景。利用遗传算法设计出了产生三角形光谱分布的光纤光栅的耦合系数沿光纤的分布。计算表明,三角形光谱光纤光栅是可以实现的,其反射带宽可以通过光栅的啁啾量进行调节,常周期的三角光栅反射带宽小,变周期的三角光栅反射带宽大,其带宽同其啁啾量大致相等。实验中,采用光束扫描法制备了反射底宽为0.77nm三角形光谱的光纤光栅。  相似文献

A new type of X-ray interferometer which uses Bragg case transmission for beam splitting and for beam recombination is described. The principles and special problems of this interferometer are discussed and a strict plane-wave treatment of the interference phenomena is presented. The feasibility of such a device is demonstrated by some interference patterns, obtained with an instrument made from a silicon crystal for use with copper radiation and the 220 Bragg reflection. Since, for the operation of the Bragg case interferometer, strong absorption is not essential, such devices may also be more suitable than the previously reported Laue case interferometer1,2 for use with neutrons.  相似文献

Two‐wave symmetric Bragg‐case dynamical diffraction of a plane X‐ray wave in a crystal with third‐order nonlinear response to the electric field is considered theoretically. For certain diffraction conditions for a non‐absorbing perfect semi‐infinite crystal in the total reflection region an analytical solution is found. For the width and for the center of the total reflection region expressions on the intensity of the incidence wave are established. It is shown that in the nonlinear case the total reflection region exists below a maximal intensity of the incidence wave. With increasing intensity of the incidence wave the total reflection region's center moves to low angles and the width decreases. Using numerical calculations for an absorbing semi‐infinite crystal, the behavior of the reflected wave as a function of the intensity of the incidence wave and of the deviation parameter from the Bragg condition is analyzed. The results of numerical calculations are compared with the obtained analytical solution.  相似文献

A typical angular integrated Mössbauer reflection spectrum of an electronically allowed nuclear Bragg reflection was analysed. Mössbauer reflection spectra were measured with high angular resolution. They reveal almost pure nuclear scattering far off Bragg and strong nuclear-electronic interference in the scattering near and at Bragg. The spectra show a pronounced asymmetry with respect to the Bragg position, which is caused by refraction and by interference of nuclear and electronic scattering.  相似文献

A solution of the problem of dynamical diffraction for X‐ray pulses with arbitrary dimensions in the Bragg and Laue cases in a crystal of any thickness and asymmetry coefficient of reflection is presented. Analysis of pulse form and duration transformation in the process of diffraction and propagation in a vacuum is conducted. It is shown that only the symmetrical Bragg case can be used to avoid smearing of reflected pulses.  相似文献

The reflection of test radiation from a smooth inhomogeneity of medium characteristics propagating with a subluminal or superluminal velocity is analyzed. The equations describing the propagation of the forward- and counter-propagating waves in such an inhomogeneous medium are derived. Quasi-phase conjugation is demonstrated in the case of superluminal inhomogeneities. The Bragg resonance conditions are formulated and the conditions for increasing the reflection coefficient of radiation from an inhomogeneity are discussed.  相似文献

We observe three effects in the Bragg diffraction of x rays in backscattering geometry from asymmetrically cut crystals. First, exact Bragg backscattering takes place not at normal incidence to the reflecting atomic planes. Second, a well-collimated (approximately 1 microrad) beam is transformed after the Bragg reflection into a strongly divergent beam (230 microrad) with reflection angle dependent on x-ray wavelength--an effect of angular dispersion. The asymmetrically cut crystal thus behaves like an optical prism, dispersing an incident collimated polychromatic beam. The dispersion rate is approximately 8.5 mrad/eV. Third, parasitic Bragg reflections accompanying Bragg backreflection are suppressed. These effects offer a radically new means for monochromatization of x rays not limited by the intrinsic width of the Bragg reflection.  相似文献

A novel scheme for second harmonic generation in asymmetric Bragg reflection waveguides is presented for enhancing the bandwidth of non-linear interaction. The strong dispersion exhibited by the Bragg reflection waveguide is exploited for countering the rapidly falling efficiency as one moves away from the phase-matching wavelength. The role of the periodic cladding on the efficiency and bandwidth of second harmonic generation in a lithium niobate based Bragg reflection waveguide is analyzed. Such an idea could be used in other parametric processes for enhancing the bandwidth and for easing fabrication tolerances.  相似文献

提出一种新型刻录在保偏光纤上的取样布喇格光纤光栅.利用耦合模方程分析了此种光纤光栅的光谱特性,并利用切趾函数对光栅的输出谱进行了优化处理,最终可以实现高品质的宽频带多波长滤波.频带宽度为普通取样布喇格光纤光栅的2倍,经过切趾处理后,此种光纤光栅的边模抑制比也有显著提高.  相似文献

When a beam of high intensity laser light is scattered by the fluctuations spontaneously existing within a fluid medium a spatial modulation of the dielectric constant may be induced. The role of such a modulation in causing stimulated scattering of the intense laser beam or Bragg reflection of any weak independent probe beam is discussed and theoretically analyesd. It is shown that such Bragg reflection provides a convenient technique for the study of the modulation. Experimental observation and investigation of Bragg reflection from such a modulation is described. A related technique has been used to investigate the development of light induced periodic structures on surfaces.  相似文献

为了实现在侧边抛磨光纤(SPF)上制作布拉格光栅结构并提高器件设计灵活性,利用重铬酸盐明胶(DCG)作为光刻材料,提出一种新型的光纤表面布拉格光栅制作方法并对该器件温度传感特性进行研究。使用轮式抛磨系统制作SPF,并在SPF侧抛面上旋涂DCG,通过干涉光束曝光显影制作表面布拉格光栅。光谱测量表明:带有布拉格光栅的侧边抛磨光纤在1 480.2 nm处有透射谷,在相应位置反射谱有明显反射峰,其调制幅度达到15.9 dB,这是由于表面光栅的布拉格反射所致。温度传感实验表明,该布拉格反射峰的温度灵敏度为17.84 pm/℃。这种器件已在光纤传感和光纤滤波器等方面获得应用。  相似文献

The X-ray resonant magnetic scattering (XRMS) method allows for the determination of optical constants including magnetic corrections, which are significant near the atomic X-ray absorption edges, by the shift of the Bragg angle of the reflection from periodic multilayers. Recently, Valvidares et al. [Phys. Rev. B 78, 064406 (2008)] revealed significant differences in the shape of “magnetic” Bragg reflection peaks from a [Co73Si27(50 Å)/Si(30 Å)]10 film for two opposite states of antiferromagnetic interlayer ordering. Valvidares et al. assumed that these features can be explained by the presence of the reflection-induced magnetic resonance correction. We have demonstrated that such corrections in the case of antiferromagnetic structures do not lead to a shift of the Bragg peak, but the shape of magnetic peaks is explained by the interference of the magnetic and nonmagnetic reflection amplitudes.  相似文献

提出一种新的光纤光栅综合方法,将Bragg光纤光栅的层剥离综合算法与光纤叠栅理论结合起来,层剥离综合算法根据需要的反射谱计算出光纤光栅的折射率分布,用多个带切趾函数的光纤叠栅来拟合这个折射率分布,通过改变各叠栅中的相关参数,可以得到适合需要的反射谱,相对误差一般小于4.0%。该方法具有简单、快速、易于实现的特点。  相似文献

推导并验证了非啁啾取样光纤布拉格光栅(SFBG)反射谱中反射峰值波长的表达式。基于种子光栅中心波长对应的折射率调制深度和取样光纤布拉格光栅折射率调制函数的傅里叶级数展开式,提炼出取样光纤布拉格光栅的折射率调制深度和各阶光栅周期,从而导出其反射峰值波长的表达式。由于考虑了占空比、取样周期等取样光纤布拉格光栅的结构参量,因而表达式能够描述反射峰的分布。仿真实验中,不同占空比或取样周期下计算出的反射峰值波长、信道间隔符合数值反射谱。该表达式既适用于均匀取样光纤布拉格光栅,也适用于交流切趾和交直流切趾取样光纤布拉格光栅。  相似文献

比较了光纤布拉格光栅法布里一珀罗腔的极限法、平衡法及传输矩阵法3种算法,证明了它们是一致的,指出了光纤布拉格光栅复振幅传输矩阵的相移特性对法布里一珀罗腔透射率的影响.对计算任意折射率调制的光纤布拉格光栅的Rouard算法进行了改进,在分层方法中考虑了折射率分布初始相位的影响,获得了更为准确的反射复振幅相位特性,将该结果应用于计算光纤布拉格光栅法布里一珀罗腔,得到了光纤布拉格光栅法布里一珀罗腔具有多峰结构的透射谱,并经过实验验证了该理论的正确性.  相似文献

A formalism is presented for optical waveguiding by means of Bragg reflection. The theory provides analytic expressions for field modal profiles, dispersion, and attenuation. Waveguiding in line defects of photonic bandgap crystals, a special case of the theory, is used as an example. Quantized allowed widths of the guiding channel are predicted.  相似文献
