The shallow water equations on a rotatable attracting sphere represent a system of hyperbolic equations on a compact manifold. These equations are derived in a spherical coordinate system from the integral laws of mass and total momentum conservation with account for the Coriolis and centrifugal forces. An analysis of the stability of discontinuous solutions with discontinuous waves and contact discontinuities is made using the closing law of total energy conservation, which represents a convex extension of the basic conservation-law system. The classes of stationary, one-dimensional (latitude-dependent only) exact solutions with contact discontinuities and discontinuous waves are constructed. Within the framework of the one-dimensional equations the test problem of wave flows resulting from the simultaneous break of two dams confining a fluid at rest in the vicinities of the poles is numerically modeled.  相似文献

In this paper the basic equations governing the plane strain or generalized plane stress deformations of a linear elastic material reinforced by a single family of parallel inextensible fibres are deduced. It is found that a single system of equations will cover all cases. The solutions for plane, half-plane and strip problems are evaluated and compared with those for an ideal fibre-reinforced material.  相似文献

In this paper the coupled linear theory of thermoelasticity for solids with double porosity is considered. The governing system of field equations of this theory is based on motion equations, conservation of fluid mass, constitutive equations, extended Darcy’s law for materials with double porosity and Fourier’s law for heat conduction. A wide class of the basic internal and external boundary value problems (BVPs) of steady vibrations is formulated and uniqueness theorems for regular (classical) solutions of these BVPs are proved.  相似文献

Unidirectional wave motion in a nonlinear viscous rod obeying Norton's law in creep, subjected to time dependent velocity impact is considered. From the basic equations of the problem and the four parameter dimensional group of transformations, absolute invariants of the group are constructed to obtain similarity transformations. Similarity representation of the original system of partial differentiation equations is formulated as a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations with auxiliary conditions. Closed form solutions are obtained for a linear rod, for a nonlinear rod subjected to constant velocity impact and a weekly nonlinear rod. Nonlinear case is solved by a numerical approach based on the quasilinearization method.  相似文献

Summary By means of a combined method it is demonstrated for regular perturbation problems how the higher order terms of an asymptotic expansion may be determined from numerical solutions of the non-expanded basic equations.The method is applied to heat transfer effects in a laminar boundary layer and to the analysis of its stability. All first- and second-order coefficients of the problem are determined from numerical solutions of the basic set of equations.  相似文献

The spatial problems of elasticity are mainly solved in displacements [1, 2], i.e., the Lamé equations are taken as the initial equations. This is related to the lack of general solutions for the system of basic equations of elasticity expressed in stresses. In this connection, a new variational statement of the problem in stresses was developed in [3, 4]; this statement consists in solving six generalized equations of compatibility for six independent components of the stress tensor, while the three equilibrium equations are transferred to the set of boundary conditions. This method is more convenient for the numerical solution of problems in stresses and has been tested when solving various boundary value problems. In the present paper, analyzing the completeness of the Saint-Venant identities and using the Maxwell stress functions, we obtain a new resolving system of three differential equations of strain compatibility for the three desired stress functions φ, ξ, and ψ. This system is an alternative to the three Lamé equilibrium equations for three desired displacement components u, v, w and is simpler in structure. Moreover, both of these systems of resolving equations can be solved by the new recursive-operator method [5, 6]. In contrast to well-known methods for constructing general solutions of linear differential equations and their systems, the solutions obtained by the recursive-operator method are constructed as operator-power series acting on arbitrary analytic functions of real variables (not necessarily harmonic), and the series coefficients are determined from recursive relations (matrix in the case of systems of equations). The arbitrary functions contained in the general solution can be determined directly either from the boundary conditions (the obtained system of inhomogeneous equations with a right-hand side can also be solved by the recursive-operator method [6]) or by choosing them from various classes of analytic functions (elementary, special); a complete set of particular solutions can be obtained in the same function classes, and the coefficients of linear combinations of particular solutions can be determined by the Trefftz method, the least-squares method, and the collocation method.  相似文献

In the present paper the linear theory of micropolar viscoelasticity is considered. The explicit expression of fundamental solution of the system of equations of steady vibrations is constructed by means of elementary functions and its basic properties are established. The Green's formulas in the considered theory are obtained. The formulas of integral representations of Somigliana-type of regular vector and regular (classical) solution are presented. The representation formulas of Galerkin-type solution of the system of nonhomogeneous equations and of the general solution of the system of homogeneous equations by means of eight metaharmonic functions are presented. An analysis is performed to study a laminar boundary layer flow over a porous flat plate with injection or suction imposed at the wall. The basic equations of this problem are reduced to a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations by means of appropriate transformations. These equations are solved analytically by the optimal homotopy asymptotic method (OHAM), and the solutions are compared with the numerical solution (NS). The effect of uniform suction/injection on the heat transfer and velocity profile is discussed. A constant surface temperature in thermal boundary conditions is used for the horizontal flat plate.  相似文献

The basic equations for the bending of circular rings are deduced from a set of accurate equations for circular cylindrical shells. The advantages in using these differential equations as compared with the customary energy method are shown through examples. It turns out that solutions of these equations can be as easily obtained as solutions of the well-known differential equation for straight beams. It is also shown that the center line of the ring is essentially inextensible, which is assumed ab initio in the classical ring theory.  相似文献

In the present paper the linear theory of viscoelasticity for Kelvin–Voigt materials with voids is considered and some basic results of the classical theory of elasticity are generalized. Indeed, the basic properties of plane harmonic waves are established. The explicit expression of fundamental solution of the system of equations of steady vibrations is constructed by means of elementary functions. The Green’s formulas in the considered theory are obtained. The uniqueness theorems of the internal and external basic boundary value problems (BVPs) are proved. The representation of Galerkin type solution is obtained and the completeness of this solution is established. The formulas of integral representations of Somigliana type of regular vector and regular (classical) solution are obtained. The Sommerfeld-Kupradze type radiation conditions are established. The basic properties of elastopotentials and singular integral operators are given. Finally, the existence theorems for classical solutions of the internal and external basic BVPs of steady vibrations are proved by using of the potential method (boundary integral method) and the theory of singular integral equations.  相似文献

The notion of a “simple” solution of a system of differential equations that admit a local Lie group G of transformations of the basic space is considered as an invariant H-solution of type (0, 0) with respect to the subgroup HυG. Such solutions are attractive since they are described by explicit formulas that provide a clear physical interpretation for them. For gas-dynamic equations with a polytropic gas law, all simple solutions that are not related to special forms of gas flow are listed. Examples of simple solutions are given and the collapse phenomenon, which has been previously studied for barochronic flows, is described. 采用非光滑多体系统动力学的方法研究浮放物体与基础平台组成的多体系统,建立其非光滑接触的动力学方程与数值算法.浮放物体由主体部分和支撑腿组成,其间通过含黏弹性阻力偶的转动铰连接.支撑腿与基础平台间的接触力简化为接触点的法向接触力和摩擦力,采用扩展的赫兹接触力模型描述接触点的法向接触力,采用库伦干摩擦模型描述其摩擦力.采用笛卡尔坐标系下的位形坐标作为系统的广义坐标.首先,将基础平台运动看作非定常约束,用第一类拉格朗日方程建立系统的动力学方程,并采用鲍姆加藤约束稳定化的方法解决违约问题.随后给出基于事件驱动法和线性互补方法的数值算法.当相对切向速度为零时,构造静滑动摩擦力的正负余量和正、负向加速度的互补关系,从而将接触点黏滞——滑移切换的判断以及静滑动摩擦力的计算转化为线性互补问题进行求解,并采用Lemke算法求解线性互补问题.最后,通过数值仿真选择合适的步长;通过仿真结果说明浮放物体运动中存在的黏滞-滑移切换现象以及基础平台运动、质心位置对浮放物体运动的影响.  相似文献

Some conclusions about the smooth function classes stability for the basic system of equations of atmospheric motion and instability for Navier-Stokes equation are summarized. On the basis of this, by taking the basic system of equations of atmospheric motion via Boussinesq approximation as example to explain in detail that the instability about some simplified models of the basic system of equations for atmospheric motion is caused by the instability of Navier-Stokes equation, thereby, a principle to guarantee the stability of simplified equation is drawn in simplifying the basic system of equations.  相似文献

The formulation of basic explosion-containment equations for idealized water-filled right-circular cylinders is summarized. The equations express explosive-charge weight as a function of vessel geometry and conventional material properties. Extensive experiments with models verified the relations for a wide range of vessels, materials and sizes. The basic containment relations were modified to provide safe and reasonable solutions for less-adverse accident conditions and for real vessels, i.e., vessels with welds, nozzles and end constraints.  相似文献

The symplectic geometry method is introduced for exact bending solutions of moderately thick rectangular plates with two opposite edges simply supported. The basic equations for the plates are first transferred into Hamilton canonical equations. The whole state variables are then separated. Using the method of eigenfunction expansion in the symplectic geometry, typical examples for plates with selected boundary conditions are solved and exact bending solutions obtained. Since only the basic elasticity equations of the plates are used, this method eliminates the need to pre-determine the deformation function and is hence more reasonable than conventional methods. Numerical results were presented to demonstrate the validity and accuracy of this approach as compared to those reported in other literatures.  相似文献

提出了一种用多域边界元技术求解大型工程问题的新算法. 首先, 采用三步变量凝聚技术, 将由内部点、边界点和公共结点表述的每一子域的基本边界元代数方程表述成只有公共结点变量为未知量的代数方程, 然后, 根据公共结点的平衡方程和协调条件组集具有稀疏系数特征的总体系统方程组. 为了有效求解该系统方程组, 首次在边界元法中引进一种能有效求解大型非对称稀疏系数矩阵方程组的行消元回代法(REBSM), 该方法可在方程的每一行组形成时进行消元和回代, 当方程组组集完毕后即可得到方程的解, 不需要最后的回代过程. 因为一些项的重复计算在每一行的处理中合并掉, 因此REBSM要比传统的高斯消元法需要较少的内存, 而且计算速度具有数量级的提高, 可为边界元法求解大型工程问题提供有力的方程求解器.   相似文献

The symmetries of a system of differential equations allowed the transformation of its solutions to a solution of this system. New analytical exact solutions of a system of two-dimensional ideal plasticity equations were constructed from two well-known solutions, that for a circular cavity stressed by normal pressure, and Prandtl's solution for a block compressed between perfectly rough plates, for the case where the thickness of the block was rather small.
